Pancake Pantry is a popular breakfast and lunch spot in Gatlinburg, known for its wide variety of flapjacks. Established in 1960, it has been serving hearty breakfasts for decades. The restaurant offers an extensive list of breakfast items including buttermilk pancakes and unique flavors like Caribbean Pancakes, Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancakes, and Sugar n Spice Pancakes.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the sweet potato pancakes—so good, I barely stopped to take a proper picture! The cinnamon syrup made them even better, adding just the right touch of warmth and sweetness. For lunch, we had The Continental with homemade chips. I opted to keep side since I’m not big on sauces—it had a sweet and tangy flavor that wasn’t quite my thing, but the sandwich and chips themselves were fantastic. My husband went for the hamburger with homemade fries, and both were a hit. Overall, a great meal with a few personal taste preferences in the mix!

One of the best breakfast spots! Pancake Pantry completely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. The service was truly world-class—friendly, attentive, and with perfect timing of food. everything came out exactly when it should. And the food? Absolutely delicious. Every bite tasted amazingly and was made with care. Honestly, this is one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever visited, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.
Krister-Martin H — Google review
Founded in 1961, Pancake Pantry is a must-visit classic. We waited about 20 minutes as a party of seven, but service was quick once seated. The place is big, lively, and a bit loud, yet conversation-friendly. The veggieburger was mild and could use a little more flavor, but the Swiss Chocolate Chip Pancake were absolutely delicious, fluffy, flavorful, and easily the best I’ve had. Portions are generous, and sharing a pancake and a sandwich works perfectly for two. The fries were crisp and tasty too. Definitely worth the wait for the pancakes.
Harsh S — Google review
The atmosphere was wonderful! We just stumbled upon this place while passing through. We were surprised by the huge portions of pancakes, haha. Everything seemed homemade, which made it even better. The pancakes were good, but I personally loved the crepes more. The coffee was also great. While the food was excellent, the friendliness and service varied depending on the staff, which was a bit disappointing. We parked in a nearby paid parking garage.

Every time!- LoL, now hear me out. I will preface this review with a note that the staff here do an amazing job and work very hard at making sure they get people in and out in a pleasant but quick turn around. And every staff person we encountered were super nice and talented, so keep this in mind as you continue to read ok- every time we visit Gatlinburg we TRY to make the Pancake Pantry one of our morning treats, but to be honest some trips we just dont feel like waiting in line for breakfast. It's a delicious time when we do go in but we really have to psych ourselves up to not mind standing in line and then having breakfast in a tightly packed, hustling swarm of a people filled restaurant. I will admit there have been a few times it gives a boost of delight to see all the families enjoying their times together. But if you don't like crowds or cramped places maybe bypass this one! But that said if you don't like crowds you probably shouldn't be in Gatlinburg 😄.
Christy B — Google review
Absolutely loved this place! It has that perfect cozy mountain town vibe that makes you want to linger over breakfast. The place is spotless, and the staff are friendly and efficient. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area and craving a comforting, quality breakfast!

It has been years since I have come for a visit. Always bring a friend to try the delicious breakfast. My friend had the sweet potato pancakes, which she loved and the sausage patties. I had the gluten free pancakes which was a first. They were okay. I just don't like regular syrup because of the processed ingredients in it, so I only ate one out of the huge portion given to me because of the syrup. The turkey sausage was good too. Before I came I saw on their online menu there was a gluten free crepe option, which when I asked I was told no there was none.
A M — Google review
I've been to this place I'm sure close to 100 times over more than 2 decades, and the service and food are always topnotch. Half the time I even come to town is because I want the pantry. The place is always packed, but service is always great and wait times are minimal. The pancakes and French toast are the best in the world, the rest of the fare is fantastic as well. I'll always be back.

Nestled in a picturesque mountain setting, The Wild Plum Tea Room offers a delightful escape into an old-world-style teahouse experience. Drawing inspiration from traditional Austrian tea houses, this charming spot is perfect for gathering with friends and family to enjoy freshly prepared dishes made from garden-fresh ingredients and local produce. The menu features an array of seasonal delights including soups, salads, sandwiches, and tempting desserts like muffins and amaretto bread pudding.
Such a cool place located in the Arts and Crafts Community!! You have to have reservations, understandably so. The waiter we had was so sweet and phenomenal. They take the time to personally craft your food and it’s a whole experience! It’s so serene and calming being there for a brunch with friends and family. Everything was delicious and unique from start to finish. It was so worth it, and we will definitely be back!!

This place should have 5 stars!! I've been eating here for important events for over 20 years!! My family introduced me to this place when I was in college. Since then, my husband and I go. The food is always OUTSTANDING!! Being an artsy tomboy, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the atmosphere!! It hits my dainty girly button and the tomboy finds the rugged outside compelling!! I5 may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I recommend it to everyone!! And, it's located on the Arts and Crafts Loop!!

What an absolutely delightful little place. All the food is divine, made in house from scratch and you can tell. The tea is amazing, cold or hot. The plates are well portioned and oh so tasty, and the atmosphere and service were truly wonderful. 10/10 will definitely come again next time we're in Gatlinburg.

What a hidden jewel! Wonderful restaurant/tea room off the beaten path. Krissy was our server and was wonderful! We started with the Sherry tomato bisque and it was outstanding. Then we had the lobster pie, delicious. They also serve Wild plum muffins with their homemade Wild plum jelly, soooo good! They only serve beer but you can bring your own bottle of wine. They are open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday so I recommend you make a reservation. You will be very happy when you dine here💕
Mary M — Google review
We have been to the Wild Plum many, many times in the past and it was one of our favorite places to go. However, many things have now changed!. Must make reservations in advanced and by text only! And, you cannot make a reservation on the day you hope to visit. Hours of operation are greatly restricted. Only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The menu, always offering delicious, choices, now very restricted and very expensive. We were not able to stay this week as there were no choices for a person with food issues. The hostess did say they would make adjustments and when we asked what those choices might be, we were told she could only tell us after we were seated. Couldn't take that risk to say nothing of the embarrassment of leaving a table. Just not the same great little tea house that it was.
Dennis F — Google review
This experience was really cool, super cute and special for couples, we loved everything about this place, the waitress was very good and hard working, and the chef prepared some unique delicious food! Our favorites were the salmon burger, hot brie cheese platter, and the apple cake was one of the most amazing desserts we have ever tasted. The only thing we had that was so so was the beet salad. The staple plum tea here is addictive, but just remember that is the only tea they have (no tea varieties which confused us a bit). Overall it was wonderful and we would go back if we were ever in the area again.
Chrissy — Google review
Outstanding reviews however they ask for reservation requests via text... problem we have had is they have not replied to our texts up and until the date requested and both attempts were responded with your request not available. They could easily use Open Table or Resy to show potential guests online availability.
Mike T — Google review
A must see destination. Everything was incredible, from the food, to the scenery, to the gracious service. It may have been the best meal of my life. If you’re considering a visit, do it. You will not regret it. Be sure to make a reservation!

Located in Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain Brewery is a laid-back spot offering housemade beers on tap and a diverse menu. The brewery features an onsite brewery that produces various craft beers, including Thunder Road Pilsner, Cherokee Red Ale, Windy Gap Wheat Beer, and more. With a sports bar and mountain lodge ambiance, the venue is open until midnight and caters to families with options for kids.
Decided to try this recommended restaurant and micro brewery. We got the fried pickles to start with and they were fantastically fried crispy with a very good dipping sauce. Both drinks, the peach ale 🍺 and my stout were very good. I ordered the brew house burger with braised spinach side and my wife ordered the chicken cheese philly sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Best Burger 🍔 😋 I have had in a long time and the braised spinach was great. My wife's sandwich was right up there as was the very delicious mac and cheese. Haley our server was great. We will definitely make this our go to place every time we come to Gatlinburg and I highly recommend you do the same thing.
David J — Google review
Good spot that’s open late (midnight). The Mac n cheese was very good and cheesy. The Ruben was good but meat was alittle tough and fatty for my liking. Environment was good with open spacious room. Service was good and friendly. I would like to go back another day to try some brews.
Michael S — Google review
Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg has a great vibe with live music that really adds to the atmosphere. The pizza was outstanding—very unique flavor combinations that I’ve never had before, and it tasted amazing. The chicken nachos were just okay, not the highlight, but the in-house brewed beers were excellent. I especially liked the seasonal options, which were fresh and full of flavor. The only drawback was the service. It took about 10–15 minutes before our server even came by to take our order, and overall the service felt a bit slow, which was a little frustrating. Other than that, everything else was really enjoyable, and I’d definitely come back for the pizza and beer alone.
Harshith R — Google review
Always a solid choice! My husband got the Cherokee Red Ale, pretzels and boneless chicken. All great! I got the mushroom Swiss burger with the gluten free bun. Burger was great, bun was not.
Carrie J — Google review
Wings were amazingggg and the pizza was so fresh. Pickles are good, crunchy! 10/10 can’t wait to come back!!! Service was amazing.. we sat right down with zero wait time. Perfect hidden gem.
Sara C — Google review
Seating process was very confusing. No sign to wait to be seated so someone behind the counter stops you when you try to walk upstairs but not until you actually start going up. Then you’re told there is a wait and before you even sit down to wait you’re giving a ticket and told to go upstairs. Then you wait awkwardly at the top of the stairs until someone decides to acknowledge you & you find out the table on your ticket is already taken so they rush to clean a table but don’t dry it. Other than that strange experience, the food & service was great! I do wish they had a smaller leftovers box because the whole pizza boxes don’t fit in the hotel fridges. Note: we didn’t have a whole pizza leftover 😅
Priscila — Google review
Food was good, service was good, beer was good. But when we told the manager we wanted a table and not the bar, she seated us beside the bar. The drunks at the bar were so loud, my wife and I couldn't hold a conversation until the drunks got pizza totally their mouths. I think Management should have addressed the issue. Many other patrons were having the same issue. Don't think we will be returning.
Jody K — Google review
Stopped in to check this place out as this was out first time back in Gatlinburg in decades. Great beers for a wide range so everyone can find something they like, enjoyed the pizza and had just an overall good experience. Thursday night was music trivia that was well done, the music wasn't crazy loud so you could just enjoy talking while others played. The place has a happy hour so get there early as they filled up fast. This a happening place with TVs to watch the game. Will definitely return on our next trip.

Breakfast restaurant
Crockett's Breakfast Camp is a charming restaurant in downtown Gatlinburg, paying homage to the legacy of David C. Crockett Maples, an original frontiersman. The rustic, cabin-themed eatery offers a modern twist on classic Southern breakfast dishes and pledges to deliver quality food and service to all visitors. The ambiance is a perfect tribute to Gatlinburg of decades past, and their house-made skillet cakes are simply scrumptious.
This place is a MUST STOP! Definitely worth the wait if there is one. We came on a weekday, parking is quite limited- looks like they have a few spots of their own. We just found street parking and walked a short distance. The atmosphere is adorable- lots of cool details throughout the restaurant. The menus are a newspaper format. We were seated quickly. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Our food came out rather quickly and boy was it delicious! 10/10! They even sell some of their own merch.
B G — Google review
Stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Portions were good and the food was tasty, I had the corn beef hash Benedict and it hit the spot. Service was friendly and kept things moving, even with the crowd. A solid way to start the morning in Gatlinburg
Ada A — Google review
This place is definitely worth the wait. By far one if not the best breakfast I've ever eaten. Pancakes are a must even if your not a fan as I normally would not eat one. But these are absolutely amazing. The cinnamon rolls we got 2 so we all shared, absolutely delicious. The omelet was made to perfection 👌 This place is a MUST! Even if your not staying in Gatlinburg go there for breakfast cuz you won't be disappointed. Great all around over all in every area. 10 outta 10
Jason T — Google review
My wife and I visited in mid-September, and really enjoyed our visit. Before I get to the review proper, I think we should have a bit of a caution regarding parking. For the entire restaurant, there are six parking spaces plus a single handicap parking space. If you show up when you are hungry, those spaces will be filled. And that means that you need to park across the street for $20/day (no hourly rate, no validated parking). Of course, this is pretty standard for Gatlinburg, because it's a tourist town, so why not? But that means that unless you are staying at the Day's Inn next door, you need to budget for an additional $20 above the cost of your meal ($48 + tip for the two of us). OK. On with the review proper. We got there at pretty much prime lunch time, so had several minutes of wait to be seated. The theme / interior of the restaurant is nicely in line with the log cabin / breakfast camp idea. Our server was great. We had the Crocket's Buckwheat Fruit & Nut Pancakes and Thick Aretha Frankenstein's Pancakes (with Blackberry Compote). Both were delicious. I really enjoyed the Aretha's as their thickness made them out of the ordinary. My side order of Corned Beef Hash was among the better CB Hash I've had. I also ordered a side of Cherokee Sweet Corn Pone. I don't recall ever before having Corn Pone. I really liked it, and will be both looking for it on menus in the future and also looking for a good recipe to try making it myself. Since I mentioned the meal price above, I need to also mention that we had a side order of quite tasty Pecan Smoked Bacon, one Coffee and one Iced Tea. So, to sum up, a really good breakfast spot, but when considering the cost of parking, it becomes a quite pricy meal.
Ronald H — Google review
Much hype surrounding this place. The wait is over an hour long. The inside looks great and the menu is a newspaper to give you that old countryside vibe. We ordered the popular must trys including the thick pancakes and the giant cinnamon buns. The pancakes were enormous but the texture and flavor was lacking. When you bite into them, you don't get that fluffy texture, instead it kinda breaks apart when you cut into it. Kinda hard to describe but you'll know what I mean when you try it. It looks great for photos but tastes very average. The syrup also was very average. We ordered a side of bacon and the portion size was smaller than expected, they were mediocre. The giant cinnamon bun was flavorless, dry and tough. The cinnamon buns you can get at the mall is miles better. We took it to go and ended up tossing it the next morning. My favorite item was the strawberry orange juice. Home made and fresh, delicious. We visited here on vacation and got pulled into the hype. This restaurant is textbook tourist trap.

The BEST breakfast we had while in Gatlinburg! However, it is extremely busy, with looong waiting times being right on the main strip. We had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to get seated however once seated the service is fast and the food is so worth it and filling! You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure! The staff, for being so crowded and busy were still very pleasant, efficient and always had a smile on their faces. Breakfast was soo DELICIOUS!!
Stephanie F — Google review
I wasn't sure when we waited over an hour to get a seat. It was totally worth it! The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The pancake was almost an inch thick and very fluffy. Chicken fried steak was perfect. The prices were reasonable too. It ended up more of a brunch. Service was excellent. Definitely worth the wait!

Bennett's Pit Bar-B-Que is a beloved down-home BBQ joint in Gatlinburg, serving up mouthwatering hickory- and mesquite-grilled meats alongside classic Southern sides and a full bar. With nearly 30 years of experience, this locally owned gem has become a go-to spot for authentic, award-winning BBQ.
On a Tuesday afternoon, there were a surprising number of bbq restaurants that were closed, but this one was open and had desert reviews. Turned out to be pretty terrific! I got the Texan Combo, which was a large platter of ribs, pulled pork, bbq chicken, brisket, and sausage, which were ALL very good (the sausage was really yummy with a little bit of spiciness to it). The service was fantastic with a manager checking on us and our server was very attentive. Plenty of seating was available, and I would definitely come back again.

Nice bbq 🍗 🥩 🐖 💨 spot in downtown Gatlinburg with happy 😃 friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Come in and see David he will take care of you like he did us. Had the hickory 💨 lemon 🍋 pepper 🌶️ chicken🐔 wings, delicious.😋 I had the Texan platter and I have left overs for another meal 🥘. We also in our group had the brisket 🐄 meal and the pulled pork 🐷 meal. No room for dessert this time! ETD….Enjoy the Day! 💯

We choose to eat here because there are several gluten free options on the menu. It's located just past the busier part of town, although it was still pretty busy. We were advised that there was a 30-45 minute wait but that we could go get a drink, and upon doing so we wound up being able to order right away at the bar so keep that in mind if you go. The bartender was awesome- he made suggestions and got our food out promptly. We ordered the Texas sampler so that we could try a little bit of everything and it did not disappoint- would highly recommend! It was the perfect amount of food for my wife and I to share. The moonshine drinks were tasty without being overly potent. The rowdy sauce was delish. One of our favorite meals while in town, in no small part due to the excellent service we received at the bar.
Mary A — Google review
This place was amazing! My server Briana was phenomenal and made me feel welcomed immediately which is amazing when you're eating out alone. She was sweet and engaging and is amazing at her job! I got the pork shoulder which was perfectly smokey and went great with the Mustard sauce, wasn't too fatty at all. The fries were battered perfectly and were crunchy and soft on the inside, and the Mac and cheese was perfect. The biscuit was just buttery and garlic enough and I even got to try the potato salad, I added a little extra mustard sauce since I'd drink that stuff. I am visiting from South Florida but I will be back!!
Maddy — Google review
This location is out of the mainstream flow of the Parkway in Gatlinburg, which makes it nice that it’s not as heavily trafficked, at least at this time of year in November. Just want to begin by stating that our server, Janet, was on her game and provided us with 5 star service. Janet, thanks for a job well done! Now to rate the food. My wife and I shared the Texan Sampler entrée. It gives you a taste of their brisket, chicken, pulled pork, jalapeño sausage, and ribs. As all of the entrées do, the platter came with two sides. My wife chose crinkle cut fries, and I chose the deep fried corn on the cob, which was very flavorful. Every meat item was tasty, but I have to nick Bennett’s one star because the temperature of the food was barely above lukewarm. Hot food should come out hot and not warm. All of the different bbq sauces were too sweet for my taste, but I am from Texas and am accustomed to a tangier, spicier flare. So that’s personal preference. The sauce quality was still good. Also, the salad bar was full of fresh veggies and several salad toppings and was delicious! My daughter had a bacon cheeseburger, and she said that it was served hot. Rounded off the meal with homemade blackberry cobbler and ice cream, with banana pudding for our daughters. Yummy! Overall, would I try them again? Yes, I would give them a second chance, hoping to have hotter food the next time.

Went in about 8.30 on a Wednesday evening and was really quiet. Only a few other tables occupied. We both had a bbq combo and the meat was fantastic. Brisket melts in your mouth. Garlic biscuit was soft and crumbly. Good choice of sides and sauces. Would also like to say that our server, Janet, was a really lovely lady. Made us feel welcome and well looked after.
Dizzy F — Google review
Everything about this place is phenomenal! The staff was quite welcoming, the food was great and wait time wasn’t as bad as we thought on a fall weekend. Deviled eggs come with a twist, must try item. Another must try is the Burnt Ends… their brisket is so tender and juicy inside and burnt on the outside - a hard combo to get! Highly recommend this place to any BBQ lovers visiting town
Mohamed S — Google review
We stopped here for lunch yesterday as everywhere was a 1-2 hour wait and we arrived when they opened and were immediately sat. Ann was our server and she was awesome the whole way through. Bonus points to her cause we got to actually see her scare away a bear that attempts to be a regular there from what she says. We started with the "Trail Head Combo" which came with fried deviled eggs, hot wings, fried pickle chips, and some pork rinds. Deviled eggs have never been my thing so didn't enjoy these, but that isn't their fault, the pork rinds were a touch too crispy for me but flavor wise were good, the hot wings were cooked good and had good flavor, and the pickle chips were nice and crisp to my liking. For the entree we got the "Texan Sampler." The honey bbq jalapeño sausage was very good and cooked to perfection, the pulled pork was good and had decent flavor, the ribs were cooked excellently and were very tender, the brisket was decent but after adding a little sauce was very good, we also got a chicken leg/thigh in one piece and that was amazing. It was cooked perfect, was very juicy, and had great flavor. We split this entree and ordered some extra sides. Along with the 2 that came with the meal we got collard greens, green beans, mac and cheese, fries, and deep fried corn. The collard greens were good, green beans were good, fries were nice and crispy, the deep fried corn was just a touch disappointing because it didn't really taste any different than a well buttered cob, and the Mac and cheese was honestly not good. For dessert we got the cobbler, peach and blueberry which came with a scoop of ice cream on top. Personally I would have liked the ice cream on the side as it made the cobbler become room temperature quite quickly and I do prefer my cobbler warm. Overall the cobbler did taste very good though.

The menu features popular sandwiches like the Reuben, Classic BBQ, Turkey Bacon Ranch, Cubano, and Smoked Chicken Salad. Hands down best Reuben sandwich I ever had. If youre a Reuben fanatic, you cannot skip on this. Extremely well cooked “melt in your mouth” meat, thick layering and excellent build on the sandwich. Delicious sauerkraut. Delicious bread. Just phenomenal all around. No wait either and reasonable pricing for what you get. Excellent spot on the strip for a sandwich.

Tennessee Jed’s is our absolute favorite restaurant in the Smokies! Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, you absolutely can’t go wrong. On this trip, we had breakfast and dinner at Jed’s on the same day, the last day of our vacation, and are glad that we waited until the end, because the food we ate would’ve ruined us on everything for the rest of the trip! We don’t say this lightly, but the BBQ we had at the Winery Square location was THE BEST we’ve ever tasted! We taste tested ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey, and brisket, along with a handful of sides (and the world’s best peanut butter pie!) and each bite was better than the last! And the only thing that might be more perfect than the food is the staff! You will struggle to find a better group of people in all of the Smokies. Caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and all around awesome, these guys and ladies are the best of the best! As a couple who has put out over 150 full length food review videos on our YouTube channel, you can take our word for it when we tell you to DROP EVERYTHING AND GO TO TENNESSEE JED’S!

This is a hidden gem! The sandwiches are amazing! I got the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich with potato salad and that is some of the best potato salad I have ever had! The sandwiches also had fresh thick cut pieces of turkey with a homemade ranch sauce. I highly recommend checking them out!

Food was delicious! Right choice to eat there for lunch when we were visiting Gatlinburg. The Reuben sandwich was mind blowing, thinking about it makes my mouth water! We also tried their loaded Frito pie and salad, and they were also very tasty! Patio area is pet-friendly, which we loved! They even brought a bowl with water for our dog, which we so kind. Try them out while you're in the area, you won't regret it!

The Reuben and the BLT were amazing! I was personally not a fan of the potato salad, but my friend enjoyed theirs. The staff were very kind and hospitable. There are no restrooms, but there are public restrooms a few stores down.

Stopped in for a quick bite since I didn’t want to wait an hour for the Pancake Pantry across the street. Was fast and I had The Deluxe which was very tasty. It’s located on the 2nd floor with some outdoor seating on the deck. Highly recommend.

We have been to the area 6 times but didn’t know about this place. I was google searching new places to eat before we came to the area and Jed’s showed up. Jenny, Mark and Noah made our lunch so much better. The food was awesome and the staff were great. Would definitely recommend it. Good prices and atmosphere.

No Way Jose’s Cantina is a vibrant Mexican restaurant located in downtown Gatlinburg, offering a diverse menu of authentic Mexican dishes and an array of cocktails. Situated by the river, it provides both indoor and outdoor seating with picturesque views. The restaurant is known for its made-to-order sizzling fajitas, fresh burritos, chimichangas, tamales, tacos, and flavors from Baja, Mexico. Additionally, it offers combination platters for those seeking variety.
Outside seating was nice and cool in the stone patio. I was hot out that day and nice and cool to sit there with a beautiful view to enjoy while we ate. Quick service and delicious, authentic food. One of the highlights of our trip, I’ve wanted to try this place for years and we will definitely be returning!!

The food has no flavor. The service was extremely mediocre for being only one table in the bar. The portion size was fine but the food was just blah. The saving grace was the guacamole and the cheese dip.
Megan Y — Google review
Food is awesome plus they have the best prices in town. Super fresh homemade salsa super fresh chips. Super super cool decor like the ambiance is awesome. The music's awesome should check it out.You won't be disappointed

Food was okay, can’t go wrong with Mexican. The restaurant wasn’t busy. We were able to sit in the open are part of the establishment with a view of the river and intersection. Good place to people watch.

This restaurant was okay. It’s for tourists and it shows. The food is overpriced but it was close to the aquarium. We ordered the queso, guacamole, and 2 tacos each. The queso was over 8 dollars which surprised us and it came cold. The guacamole was okay. For the tacos, it was overpriced of over 14 dollars and you don’t even get rice and beans or anything else, just 2 tacos. Mine came cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted and I feel like I could’ve done better at home. The waiter was nice and that was the best part, everything else was meh.
Bruna K — Google review
Definitely some of the best tex-mex in the area! Our food came out fast and everything was super fresh. The waiter also allowed me to substitute something in a combo despite the menu stating that wasn't allowed.
Noah D — Google review
Somewhat underwhelming experience. Our server didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. While efficient he was not at all friendly or engaging. The food was not bad but it did seem to be a bit bland. We’ve been to this establishment a number of times through the years and it feels like it’s really dropped off.

Staff is very attentive, main course is solid; not expecting anything to blow me away. The food runner seems very lost; he asked us if 3 different orders were ours in the 20 mins we were sat before getting our order. The salsa was straight tomato water with pico in it.

Every time we are in Gatlinburg, we have to stop here! We have been stopping here since the late 80’s! It brings back so many great memories and nostalgic feelings! The food is always cooked to perfection and delicious! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu (well, we have only tried breakfast items). It is like a well oiled machine. Even if there is a line out the door, it moves quickly. Servers are always quick and attentive. We love how they have a parking lot! The parking lot has saved us the last two trips by having a wheelchair. There is no issues with wheelchair accommodations there! Check it out! You won’t be disappointed!

This was our first visit here and we will definitely be back!! My husband had an omelet & said it was amazing! I had pancakes & eggs. We also ordered a seasonal fruit bowl as a side. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was friendly & attentive. Even when one of her tables was seated with a big party. Service didn’t change! We got here early and had no wait to get in. When we left the line was out the door. I understand why! The log cabin feel was nice!

My hotel had a review that included a comment about the great Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin down the street so I decided to try it. The place is popular and there were several groups waiting for tables. I was added to the wait list and within 8 minutes my table for one was available. I ordered an egg and hash brown skillet that came with two house pancakes. My food arrived fairly soon and I decided to start by trying the pancakes which were tough to cut with my fork and they were barely warm. Then, upon biting into the eggs and hash browns, I noticed they were not quite room temperature. I flagged the server who immediately called the floor manager over and asked if I wanted everything remade? I asked for just a reheat and they responded very favorably wanting me to be pleased. Within just a few minutes I had new pancakes and well heated eggs and hash browns with Pico and cheese on top. I was impressed with the very attentive server and the manager who also checked on me twice. The only downside was that even the second batch of pancakes were tough to cut and really had little flavor except for the added bananas I had ordered as an add-on. It bothered me that the word pancake is in the name of this restaurant but it didn’t seem to live up to its name. I know that when a batter is over-mixed it can create toughness. I personally like fluffy flavorful pancakes. The coffee was good with a pot brought to the table. I know restaurants can have occasional kitchen problems and I was impressed with Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin’s fast response to my request.

Had a late brunch here and it was amazing as always. The place looked very different without all the school flags on the ceiling, but it looked good, more mountain feel. Tried the fried bologna with fried eggs, soooo think & delicious. The pancakes were fantastic. Great service too.

Amazing food. 10/10. Amazing service. 10/10. The waitress was constantly checking on us, even though it’s super busy, Misty was the absolute best. She kept our drinks full and I would recommend her to anyone. We had a party of 9 and we felt very accommodated

We came here with a group of 21 people, and I can honestly say the experience was outstanding from start to finish! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large party with a smile, making sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. The service was fast, friendly, and organized — which is not easy with such a big group! The food was delicious, especially the pancakes — light, fluffy, and full of flavor. Everyone left happy and full! I really appreciate how smoothly everything went and how attentive the team was the entire time. If you’re looking for a place that combines great food with amazing hospitality, this pancake house is the spot. Highly recommend! 🥞💛

One of the best pancakes you can ever have. We had the blueberry pancakes and Pancake Royale (royale sauce with banana) with veg omelette. All were delicious and we would recommend. The service is top-notch and even during busy time, they checked time to time for any assistance.

Fun place to eat. I came alone and they gave me a table of four, which I guess it's the smallest they had. I waited in line 30 minutes and it was busy, but they made me feel at home even if I was alone. My cheese omelette, pancakes and coffee were all great and I cleaned my plate. It's quieter than expected inside maybe because of the high ceilings and wood. Service was friendly and my food came quickly.

We stopped at Smith & Son Corner Kitchen earlier in the day, and it was such a great experience! The food was amazing — flavorful, well-portioned, and hot. We were seated immediately but it took a good few minutes for our server to approach us. The food was delicious. We got fried pickles for our appetizer that were breaded and seasoned just right. I ordered their house Cobb salad that was very tasty and fresh. My husband ordered the chicken fingers and ribs. The portion sizes were large and we will be going back when we are in town again.

Visited Gatlinburg over the weekend, and had dinner at Smith & Son for the first time. It was amazing!! We loved it so much, we went back the next night as well. Service was great, and the food was delicious! The first night, I had chicken & broccoli alfredo. It was Chef’s kiss! The second night, I had chicken fried steak, and it was equally phenomenal! I’m a huge mac & cheese lover, so I had to try theirs from the premium sides. That was without a doubt the BEST mac & cheese I’ve ever had!! Do not miss having a meal at this restaurant! The prices were very reasonable, considering the quantity and quality of the food. I will definitely be returning every time I visit Gatlinburg!!

Let me start out by saying that this place is one of the best, if not the best, place to eat in Gatlinburg. The teriyaki wings were ABSOLUTELY fantastic! The yard bird was phenomenal! The Pit Master was top-notch. The fried pickles were ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING as they were gone before I could get a picture. The service was phenomenal (Ray). The atmosphere was fun and family-friendly. Love this place.

The hostess wasn’t super friendly and seemed disorganized. She called my name saying my table for 5 was ready then when I walked up to her she told me my table wasn’t ready but I showed her the text on my phone saying the table was ready and they finally told us to walk upstairs. The upstairs hostess wasn’t super friendly slightly more pleasant but equally as confused, she couldn’t find my name at first then finally sat us. After that the server was great, not great enough that I got her name but she do her job. The food was awesome. I got a fried chicken salad and it was really good
Julie K — Google review
Best place I’ve ate at on the strip. Great prices and great food. Our server was so sweet, I hate I didn’t remember her name. (She was young and had a septum ring). The fried pickles were so tasty and crisp. I had the half yard bird and it was delicious. I was so full I had to take half of it with me. Portions sizes are great. I had plenty to snack on later in my hotel. I love that they have ketchup, mayo, and mustard on the table (I’m a “mayo with my fries” person). Definitely skip the more “touristy” restaurants and go here. You get more bang for your buck, good service, and a great atmosphere with some very nice views. My only complaint is the Hellmans mayo (get Dukes lol)

Calhoun's in Gatlinburg is a popular spot known for its Tennessee BBQ, fresh-ground burgers, and homestyle sides. Established in 1983, this beloved local restaurant offers mouthwatering ribs and juicy steaks that have won over thousands of visitors. With its warm atmosphere and authentic taste of Tennessee barbecue, Calhoun's is a must-visit for food enthusiasts seeking rich flavors and a welcoming dining experience.
Worth the trip! I was a little leery about coming here due to past reviews, but I’m so happy I did. Grace was our server and she was outstanding!! She gave great recommendations and was on top of everything. The food itself was absolutely amazing. They make the Caesar dressing in house and it’s the best Caesar salad I ever had. The fried green tomatoes are good, thick with crunchy breading. The bacon wrapped burnt ends were probably my favorite. The ribs were delicious as well, very tender and a great flavor. My family enjoyed everything, if we lived closer we’d be going here often.
Lyssa J — Google review
I thought the food was decent. I ordered the brisket & the burnt ends. Brisket was very tender & had a nice crust. I’m a huge fan beef tips in most places, but these hit a bit different with the bacon wrap. They weren’t the most tender but had a nice smoky flavor. For my one side I ordered the Mac & cheese which was pretty good but nothing special. I also ordered the smoked baked beens which the waitress forgot to bring so I ended up canceling after a little wait. The restaurant was clean and the outside entrance with the cool sign made me think it was going to be a new favorite place, but inside it was nothing special & felt fairly basic. Also had some 80’s tunes playing through the restaurant & that seemed sort of out of place & I think a little country music would feel a better fit.
Jason K — Google review
Great place for lunch. We stopped on our way through and were delighted. The ribs were falling off the bone and the trout was very delicious. The tomatoes were very good as well. We came on a Friday afternoon and woke the town was busy, the restaurant was not. We got right on and seated and the food came out shortly after ordering it. I highly recommend this place is you're looking for some good food.
Kevin W — Google review
We were in town on the busiest weekend of the year in October. We couldn’t get a table on Saturday, but we got one on Sunday. I had a cup of white chicken chili and a full rack of ribs. My husband had a Caesar salad and the pork chop dinner. The ribs were “fall off the bone” delicious & the white chicken chile was really good. My husband said the pork chops were the best he’s ever had. They were marinated & juicy. I had a blueberry coconut mojito and I loved it. Jonathan S. was our server, he was very personable and prompt. He told us a lot about the area. His recommendations for the ribs and chops were spot on. Thanks, Jonathan. You can’t go wrong with Calhouns!

We stopped in at Calhoun’s for dinner. The restaurant is beautiful and we great view of the mountains from our table ~ could even see the Gatlinburg Skybridge from our seat so that was cool! The food was just okay for us. I had the BBQ ribs with fries. The ribs were tender with a good flavor, but the fries came out cold. My husband had their chili and a large chicken & bacon salad, and he said both were pretty good. Service was fine but a bit on the slow side. We waited longer than expected for the check and for them to run our payment, but our server did check in and offer drink refills, so it wasn’t a bad experience—just not great. Overall, decent meal with a nice view at a good price.
SweetSouthernLiving — Google review
Stopped in for some food and it was very good. Started off with the pulled pork nachos, it’s very good and the sauce was tasty with the heat of fresh jalapeños. I had the Ale steak with loaded potato but the white cheese they used to me didn’t go well, as the cheddar would. My step son had BBQ steak calhoun, which looked good. The other was a Hickory burger and char-grilled wild Alaska salmon. Those 2 items I didn’t get photos. The food was great definitely recommend.
J S — Google review
I had never been to a Calhoun's before but I really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting the variety basket of bread we got. The biscuit was my favorite but it was all good. We ordered fried green tomatoes and fried pickles as appetizers. They were all freshly made and very crispy which is what you want with breaded fried foods. I forgot to take a photo but my wife and I shared a half slab rib dinner. Ribs were flavorful and tender. My wife also ordered a coffee flavored cocktail. Everything we ate was great and the service was great as well. Prices were the same as your average restaurant but a bit cheaper than some of the other restaurants surrounding this location in Gatlinburg. I wouldn't mind eating here again.
Kory K — Google review
We were here for an early dinner at 4:00 on a Wednesday afternoon. Restaurant was not busy at all. Our server did not speak English very well. Our drinks were empty well before our order arrived and it was at least 20 minutes before we saw him again to ask for refills. He asked if we wanted bread but it was not good at all. A basket of cornbread, garlic rolls and a biscuit, all rocks so we didn’t end up eating much of that at all. We had the salmon salad and cobb salad, both were good size and very good. I asked for my dressing on the side but got none, which was fine since I brought my own just in case. The burger was good but nothing special. I didn’t ask my friend about the pulled pork, but it only comes with one side and didn’t look like much food for a grown man. Our server did not once ask how our food was. Overall the food was good and we would return for the salads but service really needs improvement, especially since it wasn’t busy at all.

Nestled in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Donut Friar has been a beloved local institution since 1969. Despite its lack of a website, this cash-only establishment has gained widespread recognition and was even named the best donut shop in Tennessee by Southern Living Magazine. With over 30 varieties to choose from, along with fresh cinnamon bread and seasonal treats, visitors are sure to find something to satisfy their sweet tooth.
BEST DONUTS.. we will always come back to Donut Friar! The only catch is cash only, but they do have an ATM. Such fantastic yummy sweets, tons of options, and the service is great. The owner Kathleen does so much for her customers and it shows! This is the perfect place to get together with friends or a book club, they have a nice upstairs with tables and chairs. Perfect setting right in the heart of Gatlinburg.

I stopped by after having a huge breakfast at another place. Honestly, I wish I would have just gone here and had myself a donut and coffee. Loved the location, history of the shop and the donuts are a gift from heaven. Fresh, tasty, an absolute satisfying treat. I bought the coconut which is a cakey donut topped with a bit of a frosting with coconut flakes. The blueberry cruller with a lovely glaze. The unique find which was amazing was the glazed croissant. I left wanting to try all the flavors. Worth going back over and over. Very important, this is a cash only store. There is an ATM in shop, but better to go with cash in hand just in case the ATM not working.

CASH ONLY with ATM onsite. Staff was prompt and friendly. Wonderful selection of donuts, from cake to dough, crullers to eclair, cinnamon rolls. They have a nice selection. Honestly, the best donut I have had in years! I went a little before 7. I had no problem finding free street parking on River Street (besides my GPS freaking out once I arrived to town). I didn't realize one can park on the main drag at that time of day, or else my trip would have been much quicker without a 5+ minutes walk each way.
Allie M — Google review
Awesome place to try out different donuts. Different taste and arts that comes with donuts. Ensure you are carrying cash as they don't accept card but cash only. Similarly, they also serve food cinnamon bread which we as a team loved. Also on the side note, place will be busier and therefore you will find no place to eat at the shop, so look for a good spot to settle down and eat with peace in your mind with a sip of coffee or tea. You may want to cherish your day after a long day if not a long day you start.

We have tried a lot of donut shops and thank god we don’t live close by because this place has me in a choke hold how unbelievably delicious they are my favorite is the Bavarian cream doesn’t taste like the fake filling in so many other shops tastes like the donuts I had in Germany. The texture of the pillow pastry was buttery and flaky with the creamy Bavarian oozing out lord have mercy I died and went to heaven. But the Bavarian chocolate eclair I said I only want half trust me you can eat the whole thing in a blink. On Saturday by mid afternoon they were sold out so we placed an order for Sunday and then Monday got double orders. I’m filling myself up with Bavarian crème all the way home. Hubby and our kid’s favorite was the Raspberry filled and also felt like you were tasting homemade not from the can filling 10/10 truly on all the donuts and customer service everyone was absolutely awesome. The apple filled and cinnamon twists literally I don’t think you could go wrong on any choices. We did get the lemonade slushy which was wonderful on the hot humid afternoon but they do offer a coffee slushy which looked very good too.

I came here around 6AM and they had a full spread of fresh pastries. The prices were good and the donuts were way better than any of my donut shops in my town where I am from (where I come from there are 6 other donut shops and they can't hold a candle to the Donut Friar). Everything was fresh and warm! I suggest get there early, don't show up late! You guys are awesome! I will be stopping here every time I visit for sure!

The Park Grill is a Gatlinburg restaurant recommended by a friend as a great spot for food with kids. Its lodge-like exterior and cozy interior make it an appealing option, and the menu features typical steakhouse fare along with salad bar items. The Park Grill is located within Smoky Mountain National Park, making it a perfect stop on any hiking or tourist itinerary!
Ambience- check. They do not build buildings like this anymore. Like a WPA national park lodge in the west, exposed wood beams, cathedral ceiling, large windows. Great food- check. Lots of options, most offering the amazing salad bar that's like 40 feet long of fixings. Love the basil vinaigrette dressing- fresh and unique. Loved the BBQ pork and sweet potato casserole as a side. Good value- the huge salad bar alone can be purchased separately or most entrees include it. Great service- check.

We checked this place out because we heard the salad bar was amazing and that it was The Peddlers sister restaurant. The salad bar did not disappoint! My boyfriend loved the smoked oysters offered and I really enjoyed the pasta and potato salad. The entrees were also very good. The chicken was a good combination of sweet and savory. My boyfriend loved the trout. The black bear brownie bash was also such a nice treat. I would definitely recommend this place!

The service here is phenomenal! We've never had this good of service at any restaurant. The food was cooked perfect! The salad bar is a must! There was a huge selection of salad toppings and dressings. Entrees come with unlimited salad bar. Extremely fresh vegetables that are refilled every 15 minutes. Our waitress and other staff members went above and beyond our expectations. They refilled our drinks without asking, offered several condiments, and even gave my wife a tea to go. One of the best places to eat in Gatlinburg! We travel here every year from Michigan.

Be sure to secure a reservation!! After the helli$h drive to get there due to the huge number of folks in Gatlinburg this time of year, we were pleasantly surprised. With a reservation, we were seated within 5 minutes and had the most amazing waitress. Drinks and appetizer came quickly (the Fried Pickles were fresh, hot and delicious!), and we headed to the salad bar. Anything one could possibly want to put on a salad was on the salad bar. Despite the place being very busy, everything on the salad bar was neat. Dinner was amazing. My husband had a ribeye cooked exactly as he requested and I had a burger (Jack Daniel's burger, I think, with an onion ring) and fries. Both plates were hot and so delicious. It was my husband's birthday, and our sweet waitress brought out a dessert with a candle. Extremely impressed with their staff and waitress staff.

Love this place we come here a few times a year. It is our go to restaurant. Really can’t go wrong with anything here. The salad bar is massive and is always fresh. Eric one of the managers has been pleasant to talk to for many years. Nestled up to the smokies if you’re lucky you will see a bear as well!

It was great ! We love the mashed potatoes with the steak and green beans. While I love everything, I also really enjoy the bread, I could probably eat 5 baskets of them. They are so yummy. Me and my husband both got our steaks medium and they were cooked and seasoned well. We went for dinner 2 days in a row and don’t regret it at all. The food is so good !

Excellent meal, the prime rib was perfect! A great escape from the extremely crowded streets of Gatlinburg. You may have to circle a few times to park but it's worth it. We grabbed seats at the bar and skipped the 45-minute to an hour wait.

Restaurant
The Best Italian Cafe & Pizzeria, a beloved dining spot in Gatlinburg for over 40 years, offers authentic Italian cuisine in the Smoky Mountains. This family-owned restaurant is known for its generous portions and homemade dishes, satisfying both locals and visitors. With two locations in Gatlinburg, including an express site downtown and a full restaurant, it's easy to enjoy their famous New York-style pizzas and classic pasta dishes.
We have ate at both locations but the one in Elks is hands down the best! Our waitress was great, I REALLY wish I could remember her name. Our drinks never even made it to half before being filled. The food was absolutely amazing and one of the best thing we had all week. The garlic rolls are a must, get a dozen and take them home for a snack like we did. Also out waitress was very appreciative and thanked us. I will gladly come back every time we visit!

Antipasto salad tasted like it came out of an Italian grandma's kitchen. The fried mushrooms were delicious. Not overly breaded, tender very flavorful. The service was stellar. Atmosphere was fantastic. Will return.

Beautiful views from the porch. Love that we can eat outside by the river with our dogs. Food was edible but not special. The pizza was cooked in a plastic tray thing and spaghetti was a little watery. Restaurant atmosphere 10/10 food 5/10.

Great food and atmosphere. Fantastic choice in music. Walked right in and was seated immediately on a Monday night at 8pm. Food came out very quickly. Waitress came by often and kept our drinks refilled. We had pizza and pasta. All was great.

creekside dining. Huge portions at great prices especially in a tourist town during high season. Calamari OK, garlic rolls come 3 with entree and 1.5 is more than enough. My wife had chicken parmigiana and I had chicken florentine. either dish could have fed both of us and probably a third hungry person as well. our server was helpful in making menu choices. a delightful and inexpensive meal!

Wonderful dining experience creekside in Gatlinburg. The food was delicious. We ordered their vegetarian pizza and a fettuccine Alfredo. Both were delectable. Our server was also nice. He patiently answered all our questions and inquired with the kitchen on the things he didn’t know. Overall, great experience!
Roopam M — Google review
Went there twice in 3 days, the experience first time around was so good went again only to be disappointed. First time was dinner and second one was lunch. Ordered vegetarian lasagna and got meat one. No apology just exchanged for vegetarian. Eggplant was extremely chewy the second time. Pizza was good and ravioli was great! Fettuccine Alfredo was good as well.
Komal M — Google review
The Margherita was loaded with cheese. It almost tasted like a deep dish pizza. If you like a lot of cheese you will probably like it but I enjoy an authentic Margherita that is light. The vegetarian primavera was good but nothing extraordinary. The fried Calamari was the best dish. I expected more. Service was amazing though. Great job guys.

New Orleans Sandwich Company is a cozy, family-owned restaurant that brings the flavors of New Orleans to Gatlinburg. Located in the Baskins Square shopping area, this casual eatery offers a variety of Cajun classics, including their specialty - po' boys. These large French bread sandwiches come with a choice of fillings such as smoked sausage, roast beef, ham, and oysters.
I have been coming to Gatlinburg for 18 years and had no idea this amazing treasure of place existed. We love New Orleans food and it reminds me of my trips to New Orleans. Every thing was excellent. The seafood gumbo was outstanding. The Cajun burger poboy was impossible to put down. The crab cake PoBoy was amazing. Service was great and attentive. This will definitely be going on my must go to places in Gatlinburg, TN.

I love to eat what the locals eat when I’m on vacation. Something authentic to whatever flavor I’m feeling. This is that! We had the Jambalaya and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever had! Staff was also super friendly and attentive. It’s off the beaten path but I’m so glad we stopped in!

The best hole in the wall!!! Had the days seafood gumbo special and the Fat Tuesday sandwich. The food was piping hot and the best we have had in Gatlinburge. Be ready for great spices and authentic New Orleans flavors

We have been here two year in a row. Last year we just happened on to it. Up until we found this place we had been a little depressed with a lot of the popular food places. We both had po boys that were delicious. The kids were satisfied with the kids menu. The hush puppies were amazing. This year we came back since we remembered having a good time last year. We were not disappointed!!!! Shared a shrimp po boy, had the hush puppies, jambalaya, and a seafood gumbo. All the food was delicious. Services was quick.

Hidden gem off the parkway in Gatlinburg. Family owned and operated New Orleans sandwich shop. All the usual suspects here. Had a delicious muffaletta and red beans and rice here at lunch. Highly recommend. Like stepping into the French Quarter. Would definitely dine again.

Truly a hidden gem. This is tucked back on the main strip. Inside is very small, I would not come with more than 4 in a party. All of our groups food was amazing! I ordered the bowl of red beans and rice and a side of voodoo rings. The little hole in the wall spot packs a huge punch when it comes to flavor and hospitality.

OMG! Best gumbo I’ve ever had! I may not be Cajun, but I try it everywhere I go. My wife had the Muffeletta and said it was fantastic too. The gentleman who served us was very friendly. We will definitely be back at least once per trip. It’s located at the back of one of the alley’s off the strip.

Came here during a vacation with family and the owners were outside while we were looking for a place to eat. They told us they have the best food in Gatlinburg and they were right. Almost everything is fried and it’s fried well! Everything came out hot and fresh and tasted so good. The fried pickles were amazing, the hush puppies are seasoned so well, the crab cakes are delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough. The vibe in the restaurant is wonderful as well, decorated very cool and clean. Feels very homey.

Chicken restaurant
If you're on a quest for the ultimate Southern comfort food experience, look no further than Mama's Chicken Kitchen. This delightful eatery specializes in mouthwatering fried chicken served alongside an array of comforting sides that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Whether you’re craving crispy wings or hearty sandwiches, Mama’s has got you covered in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
Visiting from Georgia, we were delighted to find this yummy gem! We both got the fried chicken with two sides and a biscuit- mashed potatoes, Mac and cheesex2, and apples. Everything was delicious, we ate every last crumb! The biscuits were so buttery and flaky. Will definitely be going back for another visit before heading home.

Portions were huge! Loved the Mac n cheese - wow! Biscuit was buttery and came with jam. Chicken and dumplings were great - doughy and tasted like biscuit gravy. I ordered the chicken tenders but they were dry. :/ Otherwise, this would’ve been a 5/5!!
Stephanie T — Google review
I would have loved to have rated this place higher, but after ordering, my friend got his plate and wings relatively quick. My order didn't come. We waited more than 15 minutes before I was told someone made a 50 wing call in order, and they ran out of chicken. Not only me, but other customers were waiting longer. Ultimately, I just asked for my order for take out. I would think dine in customers, who have already paid, would get preference. However, the chicken was very good! The wings were well coated in the hot honey sauce. Overall, underwhelming service, but awesome food. They're worth a second chance, next time I'm in Gatliburg. Update! Went the following weekend, and it was much, much better! Chicken was still crispy. I recommend the mac and cheese and potatoes and gravy. For sure a good place for some good, comfort food.

Being on the out side of town I had no great expectations, but to my surprise this place delivered! I had wings and fries and my wife had chicken and dumplings probably some of the best I have recently tried. The biscuits homemade and the jam to die for. I bet breakfast is even better! This is my kind of place good home country cooking! Oh and the free koosie was a nice touch! 😉
Les Y — Google review
Wow! The people greet you with a smile the second you walk through the door, super friendly! I got the chicken and dumplings and my husband got the hot honey and sweet chili wings! The dumplings were by far the best i have ever had and my husband crushed his wings! The jam that comes with your biscuit is amazing as well! Food is great priced and hot when it comes to your table! A huge bonus for those that love a good koozie….. If you order a beer you get a free koozie! We will absolutely be back sooner than later!!! So so good! HIGHLY recommend! 5 stars are not enough!!

This is my favorite fried chicken of all time! It was crispy, juicy, and delicious. I had the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. All were well seasoned and tasty. Food came out hot and fast. The banana pudding was beyond words, just outstanding.

This is a great place to go for a quick meal. The food is great, and the portion size is great. They have a great menu full of stuff for everyone. Swing by this place if you don't want to drive into town and pay for parking when all you want to do is eat.

This is my first visit to Gatlinburg, I was given a recommendation to come and try the local eateries in town, and Mama's was definitely suggested. The chicken didn't disappoint. The chicken was flavorful, the biscuits were delicious, and the mac and cheese was just like it was suggested for me to try it out. I like to find the local spots and show love to the mom and pop spots. This restaurant is definitely a must stop when or if you're in the area.

Anniversary dinner,Cherokee Grill has a more elegant atmosphere great for date nights. Saw a few families. Food was amazing. Bread was a garlic bread, we started with bruschetta- on the garlic bread, great cheese to tomato and balsamic drizzle ratio. Then we had Caesar salads they were a good portion. Our main dish was sirloin steak medium rare it was good for a sirloin. I had the Neva potatoes which were a cheesy hash browns, very good highly recommend. My husband had the blue cheese grits, which was also very good the blue cheese isn't over powering. Our service was very good as well. Each part of our meal was perfectly timed out and not rushed. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to have dinner here on a Saturday night and it was great! Adreonna our server was attentive, quick, and so nice! She made our first time visit here great. The atmosphere is very cozy, warm, and charming. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip which was great! The garlic bread with butter we received was also delicious! For our mains we tried the herb crusted trout and smoky mountain fried chicken. Both were so good! I personally have the chicken and I absolutely loved the vegetable gravy it came with! We really enjoyed our experience here! We did book a reservation in advance but still had to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. Many groups weren’t able to accommodated because of the 2-3 hour wait so please be prepared to wait or book ahead of time on weekends. The parking was also not so great but we luckily found a spot. We will definitely be returning in the future thank you!

Well here we go again. I am a pretty lenient connoisseur with my reviews. But when you pay a buck fidty (not including the tip) for your family's food it better come out with fireworks and ALL the stops. This meal did not even come close. We were sat and over an 1 hour later we received our food. Both of my boys fries were luke warm to be generous. Warning: if you order the "kids" lemonade you get "free" refills, however if you order the "adult" lemonade you pay 2 dollars for refills. So..... order a kids and beat the system. I understand you are in a vacation town and you pay vacation prices.... just be prepared to come off the hip for subpar "fine" dinning experience. If I would have know all together, I just would have gone to The Alamo for a total package experience.

This was our first time to Gatlinburg. My husband got the seafood platter, which was a special for the week that we were there. I got a large filet 9 oz with their neve potatoes. I i only got the nine ounce because my husband swore that he was going to eat some of it...he lied... He was so full from the seafood platter that he could only take a couple bites of my steak.. So I recommend getting the smaller one if your husband's not gonna eat any of it!!! Service was amazing. Destiny was our server, she was incredible, in fact, all the staff were amazing. Any staff that came by would ask can I help you with anything, take your picture whatever. My husband wanted to eat where they had a fireplace. So we got a table, right by the big giant fireplace.. Food, obv the seafood platter had so much on it that he couldn't hardly even take a bite of my steak... Shrimp and scallops were very tasty. Had a real woody flavor to them. The rice base needs a change. Baked potato nice sized and hot. Bread was unique and hot. Ceasar salad as expected. 9 oz filet..gigantic, i could only eat half and my husband struggled to eat half of the other half because he couldn't stand to see it go to waste!! The potato neve was very yummy! I ordered the filet med rare, came more rare and was not hot, but taste was amazing!! Had them warm it up a little bit after I'd already eaten about half of it though because it was so yummy!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Dining Experience! Cherokee Grill completely exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with that perfect balance of upscale comfort and Southern charm. We started with their fresh, hot bread served with butter — soft, flavorful, and the kind of bread you can’t stop eating. Then we ordered their bruschetta, and it was absolutely amazing — toasted just right, with fresh tomatoes, melted cheese, and the perfect drizzle of balsamic glaze. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Next up, the Amaretto Sour, and let me just say… wow. Hands down the best one I’ve ever had! You could immediately taste the difference in quality — made with fresh ingredients instead of a pre-mix, perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. It’s easily one of those drinks you’ll crave again and again. For dinner, I ordered the Boursin Filet, and it was absolutely divine. The steak was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The creamy Boursin cheese added the perfect richness that made every bite melt in my mouth. It’s easily one of the best steaks I’ve had anywhere. They also had a daily special menu, which was such a nice touch and showed how much thought and creativity goes into their offerings. And to finish things off, we tried the Italian Cream Cake — something I had never had before, and it was to die for. Moist, flavorful, with the perfect amount of sweetness — a true must-try dessert! I also want to give a huge shoutout to our waiter, Hunter, who made the entire experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and making us feel completely taken care of the whole evening. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was exceptional. Cherokee Grill has definitely become one of my new favorite spots — we’ll absolutely be back soon!

First things first - RESERVATIONS!! Ok, we ate at Cherokee Grill last night and enjoyed our time and the food. FOOD: As you can see, we both got the filets. My wife - the 7 oz and I got the 9 oz. I almost went with the ribeye (my normal) but chose the filet in the end. As expected, the meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. I had medium rare and my wife went medium. Both were spot on. We also had the crab bisque and enjoyed it. I had a the baked potato and she had some kind of potato casserole. That’s the only thing we did t care for. The blueberry cobbler and ice cream and brownie with ice cream was great! SERVICE: Our waitress was great being attentive and very friendly. I know she had a couple of hard tables but she still kept her friendliness up and our drinks filled. The host wasn’t overly friendly but, ok. I cannot stress enough about reservations. We got our reservation a little over a week ahead of time. Let me add here that parking (anywhere in Gatlinburg) is almost nonexistent unless you park in a paid parking lot. We found a place at the restaurant and PAID! ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a nice steak house. The dress was anything from casual to dressy. The ambiance is great and the place wasn’t too loud. Rather enjoyable. The main thing here is take care of your reservations and parking or it’s going to be a headache. But this is Gatlinburg in general. Enjoy!

Alamo Steakhouse in Gatlinburg is a popular choice for those craving a hearty steak while visiting the Smoky Mountains. This casual chophouse prides itself on serving up Angus steaks cooked over oak, alongside a variety of seafood and chicken dishes. The restaurant's commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients ensures a memorable dining experience infused with Southern hospitality.
We came here on a Wednesday night at about 6:30 and while there were a lot of people already sitting, there wasn't anyone waiting around for a table, and we were seated immediately. The waitress was training a new waiter and they were both friendly and delightful. I ordered the sombreros (stuffed mushrooms) and the stuffed shrimp for dinner. Everything I had was fantastic. My companion ordered the mozzarella sticks and had the thick cut pork chops for dinner. He said they were the crispiest, stretchiest mozzarella sticks of his life. We're definitely making it a tradition to come here for dinner every time we're in Gatlinburg.

I absolutely adore the location near the creek. It was a gorgeous day! The wait was only 15-20 minutes on a Sunday, which was great. Our steak was just okay. I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it was well-done. But hey, I’m not going to throw it away! Our sides weren’t fresh. The fries were cold and stale, and the brussel sprouts were a bit burnt than usual. The dinner rolls were doughy and needed more time in the oven. We barely got refills. I don’t know, I just didn’t feel very welcome. But the scenery outside was beautiful, so that made up for it. We read the reviews and thought it would be a great place, so maybe they just had a bad day on this day. I wish them the best!

The steaks are phenomenal. We ordered the Ribeye and they were both excellent. The scallops were cooked well, the sauce on top is too much. We had a wedge salad, which was way over dressed, but overall good. Next time I would ask for dressing in the side. The rolls and butter and shift and sweet. It’s a casual setting and welcoming by the staff.

This is a great steakhouse! The bread was great and the salad came in a cold bowl. The steak was well-seasoned and juicy. Mashed potatoes were creamy and tasted real. Popcorn shrimp was delicious. Glad that we visited! Only small problem- one plate of broccoli was dry and the berry cobbler was not great- the thick chunk of dough was yucky!

The wait was only 5 minutes with them telling us it'd be 45-50 minutes. They were all friendly and plenty of seating there. Definitely a must if your looking for a great steak while in Gatlinburg. There were 6 of us and every meal was delicious and on point. 10 for 10 on EVERYTHING!!!

This was probably my 4th or 5th time to the Alamo Gatlinburg. I've tried to overlook issues in the past because I like the environment and the love nest rooms are great for a private meal. Unfortunately when our party of 6 went last night things were too bad to want to go back again. It started with attitude by the hostess and went downhill. Online you can't join the wait with parties larger than 6 but showing no wait we felt good showing up until we walked in and were told 30-35 minute wait because there 2 large parties in front of us. I'll try to make the long story short. Both of them and about 4 or 5 smaller parties were seated quickly while we continued to wait. When I asked the head hostess if we would be seated soon I was told our quoted time was 35-40 minutes and it hadn't been 35 minutes. I asked if that meant they wouldn't seat us sooner and was told rudely no because it would overwhelm the staff. If they seat 10-12 people in separate parties but not our 6 that makes no sense at all! at exactly 40 minutes we were seated. The 3rd hostess that took us to our table and our server Ashley were the only bright spots in our evening. When I asked about the filet tip and shrimp special I was told it would only come mid-well to well done. I should have known if they can't cook tips better than that we were going to have other issues. The food was bland, mostly overcooked and over priced for what we got. $28 for "stuffed" shrimp which was 5-6 small shrimp doused in butter and breadcrumbs is not what I was expecting with a side of overcooked soggy Brussel sprouts. My husband's medium 1# burger was hammered past well done. The French onion soup and bread were the best things I ate. Our bills were way to high for what we got. On the way out my husband asked to speak to the manger on duty and was told there wasn't one....

Crystelle Creek Restaurant & Grill offers a rustic dining experience with wood-fired steaks, ribs, and other American dishes. The restaurant overlooks a creek and provides two dining areas - a quiet indoor space and an enclosed heated sports porch that is dog-friendly. The menu features Gatlinburg's finest trout, steaks, ribs, and signature Italian dishes.
05/09/2025 we took relatives to this wonderful restaurant. John E was our waiter. He provided us excellent service and he had a great attitude. We were seated by the back window where we could see the creek flowing by. Our fried mushrooms appetizers were excellent. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The salmon and rice were great and the chicken entree was also wonderful. We had such a nice dining experience. I can't wait for our next visit.

Greeted when we got in and seated very quickly. Server was awesome. Very friendly and informative. Ordered two drinks and two steaks. Drinks were very strong. We had a Top Shelf Long Island Tea and a Lemon Drop. I had no complaints but my woman said the drink was too strong for her. 😐. Steaks were ordered medium and a medium well. Mine came out medium well and hers was well done so they were both overcooked. I ate mine anyway. It was pretty good. The server came over and took my woman's to have them cook it over. The re-done steak was absolutely perfect. Melt in your mouth tender. She was very satisfied. I would highly recommend this place as the food and service was great ..

Just on the edge of downtown, tucked away a bit off the road beside a dollar general was the most fantastic little restaurant. The ambiance from outside to inside was purely blissful. We went right in the sweet spot between late lunch and start of dinner. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves for a while. Our server was a true gentleman and the fact he acknowledged my children was a big deal for me. He was sweet, knowledgeable to the area, and the food. Oh my I got the Chicago steak and I will never forget that meal. 10 stars if I could. Their homemade tea and lemonade was superb. The NY strip was perfection, I stole a bite or two from the old man lol I couldn't resist! The kids and grandma got chicken strips and salads and they couldn't finish them! We had leftovers for later! 😀 Id go again the next time I'm in the area for sure! The prices were on point for any steakhouse our group of 6 was under 200. So please go check out this hidden gem.

My wife and I visited Gatlinburg and wanted to eat at a "hidden gem". We try to patronize the places off the beaten path, away from the hustle and bustle. We chose to dine at Crystelle Creek Restaurant and upon arriving, we were immediately seated next to a window. It wasnt a bad spot, but my chair was like an old office rolling chair with wheels. Still not bad but where we were seated, there appeared to be, what I can assume, an old vent that had been blocked off with wood and my chair kept rolling into it, preventing me from moving my chair as I liked. Still, not terrible, just a minor inconvenience. We ordered the Appalachian Smoked chicken, a salad, and a baked potato for the wife and I to share. The chicken and salad were great. The thousand island dressing is made in house and I promise you wont find better in Gatlinburg! The baked potato could use some work. Maybe season the outside of the skin with some sea salt or other seasoning before baking. Now, the deal breaker for me, and the reason for the negative review is.... this place is potentially stealing from customers. Let me explain. If you look at my pictures, you will see what the prices are on the menu. Notice the Appalachian smoked chicken is $23? I had a glass of wine too at $6.50/ glass. Whe the bill came, as you can see, its higher than the prices listed on the menu. When I brought this to the waitress attention, she said it was "tax". I asked how this could be if there is a separate line for tax further down. Her reply then was, "its Tennessee, thats just the way it is." She also didnt get a manager or anything as requested either to try and understand. This doesnt sit well with me. If there is a charge on the bill that isnt exactly what the menu price says, you should fix it. If you cant fix it, have an explanation for it instead of just saying, "Thats the way it is." It wasnt much higher than what the bill listed the price for, but thats not the point. If they do this on 200 different guest checks per day, how much money are they stealing from customers over the course of the year? I would not recommend this places simply because they are messing with your money. The food is ok, but the fact they upcharge you without explanation is shady business practice and needs to stop immediately! If management sees this and the want to provide a reasonable explanation, id be happy to update my review. Always watch your checks people! Take pictures of the menu before they take them away and compare it with that of your bill! Edit: Owner states its due to their point of sale system and claims the bill is higher when paying with a card vs paying cash. Many places have a policy where the price is more if you pay with a card to offset the fees of the credit card company. Here is the thing tho.... the waitress didnt know how I was paying, didnt ask if paying by cash or card, just brought me the check with the mismatching prices. Im familiar with how POS systems work, and of all the places in Gatlinburg that we have eaten at, yours was the only one different from what the menu said. Something is seriously amiss at Crystelle Creek Restaurant. I think they are stealing from the customers.... just be warned if you choose to eat here.

We thoroughly enjoyed this local spot!! Once again met a few friendly residents too! The scenery, the customer service, the food… needless to say we came back and I was so taken aback by the scenery .. yall I forgot to take pictures of the catfish nuggets 🙃lol GET THEM!! Y’all sooo good, and made with love 💗 we had ribs (eat with or without the sauce .. you won’t be disappointed), the chicken sandwich (👍🏽), sweet potato fries, burger (tasted as if it was fresh from the grill 😋) and like I said the CATFISH NUGGETS lol Everything was made with love. If in Gatlinburg, we will definitely be back!

Stumbled upon Crystelle Creek by accident, but would say now my favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg . My wife had "Prime Rib" I had the "Oklahomian"! Both were excellent, friendly staff and awesome views.

The Smoky Mountain Trout House is a no-frills eatery located in Gatlinburg, TN, offering a variety of local trout dishes as well as alternative options like catfish, prime rib, and Tennessee country ham. Established in 1975, this restaurant prides itself on serving the freshest Smoky Mountain trout sourced directly from the area's clear waters.
Such a wonderful little location. Not a whole lot of seating. Was not a long wait on a Sunday night. Obviously not one of the hot spots. But man was the trout fantastic. They were great with a shellfish allergy. The wait staff was extremely friendly and nice. The wait was not long. And really can't say it enough the food was just fantastic.

Cool atmosphere; unique shtick (16 trout recipes). Apparently you can do your own fishing across the street..? I had the smoked trout; it was pretty good. My son got the fried chicken- he loved it. I avoided the common dad statement that I overheard from other tables several times over the duration of our meal; “we’re at the trout house and you’re ordering the chicken…” followed by several similar commentaries. It is a small place and the service is quick so you won’t have to hear that too much - either way, you’ve been warned.

If you are looking for a spot that the locals know, this is it. It's not fancy. But the food is excellent. We were here 9 years ago and it's just as good as it was then. They do have other things but they focus on Trout. You can go to the big fancy places and not get better. Can get busy as it's not a huge place. But give it a try. It's all about the food!!!

This place is such a find!! The food is so good and very reasonably priced. The restaurant is small and they don't take reservations so I recommend putting your name on the list and walking to Gatlinburg Brewing Company at the end of the block for a delicious drink while you wait. Then get ready for fresh, home cooked deliciousness 😁 The blackened trout was fantastic! The hush puppies were soooo yummy. Enjoy!!

Attention to details in the food is the main thing in this restaurant. Trouts are grilled to perfection and the sides are fabulous. I was undecided about what to eat and I asked the waitress to surprise me and she did. Their trout parmesana was incredible, the smoked one with bacon was stupendous and the grilled with lime was fantastic. The sides were great specially the mushrooms with onions and the fried ocras, and the beer was ice cold. The service was fenomenal. The value was completely worth it. I will come back every time I travel to Gatlinburg. 100% recommended.

This restaurant has a very specific set of skills. Old school, cozy, mountain vibes and incredible trout. Everything they fry is amazing. The trout is incredible and everything is at a reasonable price. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Stopped at the Smoky Mountain Trout House while visiting Gatlinburg and it ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip. I had the blackened trout with rice and a side salad. The trout is all local from the Smoky Mountains and you can really taste how fresh it is. They also bring homemade chips and hush puppies that are warm and crispy. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the whole place has a cozy mountain lodge feel. It is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back on your next trip. A must try for anyone looking for great local food and one of the best restaurants in Gatlinburg.

The Trout House is excellent.  We came early to avoid the rush. We had no line, and quiet, nearly private experience.  Trout is the only thing on the menu. Fried, baked, blackened , fritters, bacon stuffed, and several others. Good price, large portions, good sides, refills on soda and tea. It is all rainbow trout from a local farm. Highly recommended.

Great breakfast place. Got the steak and eggs, which was very delicious! Service was good too! A simple, quick stop. Prices are...Gatlinberg prices so no shock there.

Nice little local pancake restaurant. None of the gimmicky appearance like some of the other restaurants. The breakfast was quite delicious. We would go here again.

This place is an absolute southern charm beauty! The staff is very nice and friendly and very helpful to navigate all the delicious options. The food is absolutely delicious!! Everything we had was cooked perfectly and with care. Aside from that it was very fair priced considering the portions are huge! I highly recommend the country fried steak and eggs!

When we walked in we were immediately greeted and even though they were busy we were sat very quickly. They’re really good at clearing a table and setting it for the next guest. We got the chicken and waffles, and chocolate chip pancakes with bananas, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Our breakfast was amazing, I loved the chicken and waffles. Our waitress was super sweet and very kind. She balanced the busy atmosphere very well. Highly recommend coming here for breakfast.

This is my husbands and I favorite breakfast spot in Gatlinburg hands down! Every time we visit here we have such an awesome experience. The staff is always so friendly and the food no matter what we order is so out of this world outstanding the best! My husband ordered the French toast bacon and eggs. I ordered the pecan pancakes sausage and eggs with cheese. I forgot names but the whole staff on Friday June 6th at 7 am should all be recognized for an outstanding job.

This adventure started out promising. The host and hostess were very friendly, energetic and on the ball. We were the first group seated in our section and immediately greeted by our waitress. It was busy so we ordered waters and meals (2 omelettes -one bacon and one peddler w/ the tomatoes on side - and one waffle) simultaneously. After 30 minutes, the groups that were seated after us were finishing their meals. When I saw our waitress, I asked her if she minded checking on our food. She told us that “it had only been 29 minutes since our ticket was entered which is really good for a tourist place”. 45ish minutes later, we had food!!! 🙌 I was on cloud nine diving into that omelette… until I was dropped kicked off of it and face planted into a lukewarm wet egg scramble missing bacon. We finished our meals and waited for a while. The two hosts, still beaming, came over to clear off our table. We didn’t see our waitress again until she brought the check, that was incorrect. I reminded her we didn’t order a side of tomatoes. She said she charged us for them because “they weren’t put inside of the omelette. The kitchen was really struggling today.” Meanwhile the other waitress in our section was engaging her tables, full of energy and had turned multiple tables before we received our food. She and the hosts were rocking it! The waffle was the best part of the almost 1.5 hour experience! It’s 10/10!

“The food was authentic and delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. Even though I visited during a busy weekend, they received me warmly. I waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and the food arrived a bit late — but that’s understandable since the place was packed and the staff were working hard. The ambiance was clean and neat, and it’s definitely great value for money. A must-try is their pancakes — soft, fluffy, and bursting with a lovely vanilla aroma. I absolutely loved it!”

Awesome little place. Very busy, but the staff have a great way keeping up with parties. You get a lot of food for the money and everything is made fresh. You will probably have a wait time, but they give you menus while you chill. Very pleased with my experience.

The menu includes unique options like Sea Salt Caramel Cheesecake and Smoky Mountain Fudge. What's more, it's pet-friendly so you can treat your furry friend to a doggie treat and water.
(Pics: took donuts back to where we were staying) These were amazing. The creative flavors were really fun - the creamsicle donut was a hit with everyone in our family who tried it. Also enjoyed the Red Velvet and the Key Lime. Warning: very rich!!! Most of us normally eat 2 donuts, but we had trouble finishing both 😆 still delicious. Second picture is of the box moments after we opened it

Our little fam likes to grab donuts when we are on our camping roadtrips. We tried 2 spots in Gatlinburg: Mad Dog’s and DF. We had DF first day (yeast only, didn’t try cake donuts) and thought it was good! But we had Mad Dog’s on our 2nd day and hubby and I both agreed their yeast donuts won top spot. 🏆 Sharing the most recent menu prices.

Ice cream was absolutely amazing and they even had treats for our dogs that we have been missing this week. The staff was great and told us all about the place and what was offered. They are a local ice cream place and love that we got them to go.
Jared G — Google review
Stopped in at Mad Dogs for some ice cream. Came out with nachos, ice cream nachos that is and what a great choice we made. Ordered the double nachos. Had 4 cones broken up and two huge scoops of ice cream. We went for butter pecan and mint chocolate chip. 4 people ate on this and were all satisfied. This is a "must try" if you are in Gatlinburg. They are usually pretty busy after 7pm but the waitress wasn't long. The entire inside was full of people in line, we were at The door and had our order placed and completed within 10 minutes. They have some indoor seating (highly recommend indoor, even though we are 100% outdoor people). Outside was nice but with all of the ice cream drips, the bugs were really bad. Maybe they could invest in a few bug zappers to make outdoor seating a better option. Will definitely be back next time we are there.

The donuts here are really well done and are rather inexpensive. The Blueberry Cake w/ Blueberry Icing lives up to the name with a big burst of blueberry flavor.

It seems to be advertised as amazing. It was fine. Nothing spectacular to us. The people were very nice and helpful. The inside table area smelled like a swimming pool from, I guess, recently cleaning it. But we had to eat outside (which was better anyway). We probably won't bother going back. But they're fine if you're looking for a treat outside the super, super busy middle of town.

First time going here and it was awesome.. My husband got fried apple pie and it was amazing. I got the apple fritter that was good as well. We also got Boston creme and chocolate glazed donuts. This is our new go to donut place. I hate I didn't get a photo

First thing’s first, Steve was incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. He made us feel at home. We had the ice cream nachos with the Tennessee Fudge ice cream, a maple bacon donut, and a salted caramel coffee. All were super tasty. From foie gras & scallop appetizers to stuffed trout and braised lamb shank entrees, the diverse menu promises a unique dining experience for both locals and tourists visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.
The Greenbrier Restaurant delivered an unforgettable dining experience, but the true star of the night was Lonnie. From the moment we sat down, Lonnie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His energy, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. He didn’t just provide service—he created an atmosphere that elevated our dinner into something special. Lonnie anticipated every need before we even asked, made excellent recommendations, and brought a warmth to the table that can’t be taught. The food was absolutely delicious, but it was Lonnie’s outstanding hospitality that made the evening truly memorable. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to making guests feel welcome, and dinner simply would not have been the same without him. A huge shout-out to Lonnie—thank you for providing an excellent experience and setting the bar for what exceptional service should look like.

Top notch place to go definitely worth the price. I went with my girlfriend while vacationing. We had been to Gatlinburg before but it was a holiday and they were booked up. We got a reservation this time it did not disappoint. Hannah was our server she was great and very knowledgeable. I got the Dylan double barrel a signature drink at the time amazing for bourbon lovers. We had the duck and dumplings for an appetizer. Best duck or dumplings either of us ever had. You then were served a salad of your choice and then sorbet as a pallet cleanser before the main. We also got the rack of lamb and the Beef Wellington. Beef Wellington was hands down one of the best entrees I’ve ever eaten and was cooked to perfection. The lamb was also cooked perfectly and was good but we would have gotten the red snapper however they sold out. For desert was going to get the crème brûlée but another table got the last one before us. We were still very pleased with our delicious food and would definitely return. People around us got steaks which were all cooked perfectly, octopus, foie gras, and baked goat cheese app which all looked amazing.

This was by far the best experience I’ve had in a long time! The fire pit was great to sit and have a drink at while waiting for our table. The food was perfectly executed. We started the Duck and Dumplings and the Pork Belly. The pork belly was cooked to perfection and the strawberries were marinated well. The nuts took the dish to another level. The duck and dumplings was a great earthy flavor and the consommé was clarified perfectly and full of flavor. The house salad vinaigrette was full of flavor and everything you could want from a salad. The short rib lasagna soup did not offer much in the way of texture, but was full of flavor. The lemon sorbet was the perfect combination of sweet and sour. An amazing pallet cleanser. My husband got the ribeye and twice baked potato. The steak was seasoned and cooked well. The twice baked potato was creamy and cheesy. I got the beef Wellington, let me tell you that it exceeded every expectation. Also, the demi glaze was something I will dream about. They surprised us with roses and dessert for our 5th anniversary. The chocolate pots de creme was rich and dark exactly what you look for in that dessert (this was my favorite thing to make back when I was a chef so that’s saying something.) The cherry bread pudding was everything my husband looks for in a dessert. The cherry ice cream on top was executed flawlessly. All of my cocktails were on point and worked well with the menu. Our server was sweet and attentive. I appreciated the way that she seemed to take care of us like we were her only table. There are not enough good things to say about The Greenbrier!

Rate 10/10 -They serve their signature and complementary spoon bread first which is delicious! The beef Wellington( $60)was exceptional! Jonathan gave us excellent service - the bulgogi empanadas were a treasure! We had some cocktails before dinner the Tennessee Transfusion was yummy! The Amaretto sour best I have ever had the bartender uses egg whites just fyi - delish! Malbec with the beef Wellington was outstanding! Very impressive wine & bourbon selection !! The Greenbrier never disappoints -Grilled shrimp were colossal! asparagus, baked potatoes ( top quality -if you serve a subpar baked potato it can ruin the Meal - for me anyway - all the food was over the top - ! See you soon !

My husband and I went to dinner tonight The Greenbrier! It was absolutely delicious, my husband got the Beef Wellington and he said it may have been the best meal he’s ever eaten! We got the crème brûlée for dessert and it was also outstanding! Beautiful restaurant with amazing ambiance! If you’re ever in Gatlinburg area, we highly recommend! Also, ask for Lonnie he was very attentive and informative! The whole experience was 11/10!!

We made reservations weeks in advanced and glad we did! Service was great. Bulgogi Empanadas were okay. I would get a different appetizer. Filet was very good and the carrots and squash side was amazing! My husband got a special and his was very good. Only thing we did not prepare for was how long dinner would take. Be prepared for a few hours. We got there at 5pm.

I heard about Greenbrier from a couple social media influencers I follow and decided to check it out prior to our trip. It was very hard to get reservations, but I checked again the day of our trip and there happened to be an opening so I took it! We were promptly greeted, sat and cheerfully served by Zach! He is very full of knowledge about all the menu items, which was helpful. All dishes were cooked to perfection and we left very satisfied. If you have a chance to make reservations, do it! Perfect for an occasion celebration or just for a special dinner.

I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant! My wife and I eloped Oct. 31, 2025. We had a late evening reservation but we were done with our ceremony and starving, so we thought it wouldn't hurt to try getting an earlier table. The restaurant was extremely accommodating, and welcomed us right in. As a former server and bartender, I can confidently say our server, Lloyd, was one of the best in the business. From his menu knowledge to his timing, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was to die for. The wagyu steak was the best I've ever had, the red snapper was incredible, the duck and dumplings appetizer left us wishing we ordered another. At the end of the day, the food was out of this world, and the service made our wedding day feel truly perfect. We can't wait to come back and will be making this our anniversary go-to for many years to come. Thank you, Greenbrier!!

We were led here by the folks from the Nelson Farms store. They highly recommended it. Off the beaten path, great food. Our last night in gatlinburg. Hubby had the pickle me pimento burger, with house side salad. Oh, cheese curds to start, and I had the gringo wrap w/ onion straws! OMG! So light and tasty! Great service, if you like to assist. We did. Definitely a place to return to. Great going!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in Gatlinburg! Wait staff was very friendly and checked with our table often. Best food we had during our trip! Fresh, light and delicious! We did three appetizers and shared for dinner. The Firecracker shrimp is awesome - perfectly cooked shrimp with a light batter and the sauce was not overly spicy with a hint of sweet. The quesadilla with grilled chicken had plenty of cheese and the chicken was so tender with a crisp buttery tortilla. Cheese curds were so light and the Ranch dressing appears to be homemade and delicious! Try appetizers and share like my husband and I did!

Really nice eatery! Variety of choices, including a beer wall, but I didn't drink any...I'm driving! Drink responsibly! I had Greek Salad. My wife had grilled cheese & soup of the day, chicken & rice. My daughter had a cheese Quesidillas, add chicken. My granddaughter had grilled cheese & fries. My son in law had some kind of wrap with tots. We also took fried dill pickle chips and pretzel bites with beer cheese...good company, good food, good service!

Love the atmosphere. Girlfriend and I stopped by for a somewhat late lunch. Had a few appetizers to share with soup and coffee. Food were very tasty and beautifully presented. The place had a rustic welcoming honey vibe to it. Only thing that could have been better is if our food came out all at the same time. It felt like we ordered a 4-course meal since the food was being takin to us one at a time with an interval of 10-15 minutes.

We stopped here later in the evening on a Monday night around 8:30pm and ate on the rooftop, which did offer a nice atmosphere. It took a bit to get served, but service was decent from then on. The food was okay, but did not stand out or really impress. We had ordered one of their signature drinks, but were told they couldn’t make it because of being out of a certain ingredient. Overall, not bad but we probably wouldn’t go back.

There was no wait and it was cleaned very well, I enjoyed the light songs playing. Where my 1 star review comes in was when we ordered our food and it arrived. We got the chips and salsa first, they brought out 2 types of salsa, regular which was more of a watered down tomato flavor and the second which was "spicy" though there was absolutely no spice to it and tasted purely like chili powder. I got the seasoned beef tacos with rice and refried beans, the beef tacos were fine as they tasted exactly what youd expected nothing special. The rice was the flavor of... chili powder. My partner got the Arroz con Pollo which the chicken was cooked very well but unfortunately was bathed in... chili powder and his rice was the same flavor. I was expecting different flavors for everything we were let down. I mean almost $20.00 per person for it all to taste like chili powder. The waiter was really nice I didnt catch his name but everyone there for service was really friendly and again the place was clean and it was really pretty Inside.

I had the taco salad and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced, and the portion was generous—it left me full and satisfied without being too heavy. What made the experience even better was the incredible service. Our server, Nick, was an absolute joy—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s rare to find both great food and great service in one place, but this spot nailed it. Highly recommend!

We stopped at Loco Burro hoping to enjoy the rooftop view, but the experience was very disappointing. All the tables were dirty, and we waited almost 20 minutes before anyone approached us. When I asked a waitress if it was self-service, she responded rudely, saying, “If you want us to come to you, don’t sit at a dirty table.” What made it worse was seeing other guests who arrived after us receive warm, friendly service while we were treated dismissively the entire time. The drinks and food were slow, overpriced, and not good. Overall, we didn’t feel welcome here, which was disheartening. Smith & Son Corner Kitchen nearby was a much better and friendlier experience. We paid a lot more than Smith & Son Corner Kitchen, and only to get insulted instead. Overall, the entire experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Amazing food and drinks! The service was great too. Both salsas are delicious and worth the price ($4 w/chips) and the drinks are fire! Everything we had here was phenomenal! Pictured are the chicken cheese and rice with a mango daquiri, and a chicken and black bean burrito with a Coronarita

We came here for lunch during our Tennessee stop we ordered a quesadilla and a burrito. They were average at best. Coming from Chicago, I’m used to much better Mexican food.. The tortilla chips were either overly salty or missing salt entirely very odd. Our server was very attentive and the drinks were correct. If more use to Tex mex places that have average food, then you will like this place. As for me I’ll pass next time.

Food was great!!! Sitting on balcony while eating was a plus. The service was too tier (ask for Jasmine or McCartney) when service is good the food taste better to me. I order the Mighty Meaty pizza and was full off the first slice, they don't short you on toppings! Also ordered the cloud 9 wings doubled oven roasted!! BANG BANG BANG crispy and flavorful.. Don't waist ya time anywhere else if you want good pizza come to MELLOW MUSHROOM Tvs to watch or watch the people on the streets either way you will be entertained, the people on the streets are more entertaining trust 😂🤣😂

We were here (5/27) following the busy holiday weekend. We stopped in an hour before close and the staff that was here this night were AMAZING. Working hard and remained so kind. I wish I caught their names. They were bombarded with large groups and made sure to still be attentive to us (2). The food was fresh, delicious and highly recommend the mocktails too!!

I really enjoyed my visit to mellow mushroom, we got in fast and the service was great. The pizza I got was so good. The mushroom flavor was great and overall I think it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The decor was really fun and psychedelic. Overall I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

We ordered our pizza and pepperoni mellow rolls to go. The pepperoni mellow rolls were very good. The dough and the hot honey were delicious. We ordered a gluten free pizza, the crust was a mid grade frozen crust which isn't uncommon at pizza places. Their Doug on the mellow rolls makes me believe their actual pizza crust is probably really good. We appreciated they had a gf option but it wasn't anything to really write home about but not bad either.

My fiance and I have never been to Tennessee together nor have we had food from Mellow Mushroom. Being our first time here i can say we really loved the food. The drinks were delicious, as well as the burger and pizza. Our server was kind and the atmosphere of the building was cool. But for the time we went (dinner) and there not being a lot of people in the dining area, I wish we weren’t put in the back corner by the bathrooms. It just felt weird being put in the back when there were many available tables in the front. The building is 2 stories, dining up stairs and a little bar on the lower level when you first walk in. Overall the food was very good and wished we had a Mellow Mushrooms in California. Definitely a place to eat at and try if you haven’t already.

We had the sriracha wings and they had great flavor. Cheese bread- I’d skip. Sauce for the cheese bread tasted like it had cinnamon or nutmeg in it. Odd. Mighty meat pizza good. Crust could have been a bit crispier- but overall good flavor! They weren’t busy. Good came out fairly quickly. Server was friendly.

They have very reasonable pizza prices if you stick to the basics. Their spinach dip made for a great appetizer. If doing dine-in the place has a nice vibe.

Both me & my kiddo loved it here! My food & drink was great. Im usually not a wing fan.. especially garlic parm- but these were spectacular!!! Her pizza was delicious. Cobb salad was yummy. Service was 10/10.

Very good pizza and garlic bread. Service was good. Restaurant was quiet. Seems like hidden gem. Just a blocks walk off the strip. Best priced meal we had the whole visit. Definitely recommend this place.

Stopped in for a beer and pizza after a super long day of walking. Big Daddy's did not disappoint. Had a cold beer, cheese garlic bread and pepperoni pizza. Ordered at the counter and found a seat. Drinks were brought out right b away and they were not super busy. Garlic bread came out first and we realized we should have ordered a small pizza instead of the larger one. No worries both garlic bread and pizza were almost as good the next day. Both were delicious. We prefer this location over Pigeon Forge, smaller and not as noisy.

We've come here for as long as I can remember. The past few years we noticed a decline in quality. Today is the first time we stopped this year. The crust should be submitted to Guinness world records for thinness. I regularly travel to NY and this makes their pizza look like deep dish. Edit: The redeeming quality is how hysterically had it is. You fold the pieces over and try to eat them as folds and your fingers still pierce the pizza. At least your family will laugh at how ridiculous it is. Edit 2: That third pizza looks like cheese hanging off. It's the crust... This is hysterically terrible.

Good restaurant for quick and fast stop and eat. 1. We ordered build your own pizza. - one with chicken, Alfredo sauce, onions, peppers, pineapple, spinach - have little too much Alfredo sauce but tastes really good. - another with regular sauce, onions, peppers, pineapple and spinach - tastes good. - traditional chicken wings - Absolute best, tasty. 1 pound gets like 10-12 wings smaller ones but tastes really good. 2. Little congested place, but good for quick stop. 3. Seating capacity is good. No reservation required. You can walk in and sit based on availability.

We chose this restaurant solely because it offered vegan cheese. For the first time ever my lactose intolerant daughter was able to order pizza at a restaurant! Thank you for offering vegan cheese and at no extra cost. This meant so much to her and us! The bread sticks & pizza were served hot & all was delicious! The staff was friendly as well. Thank you! This restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint!!! The service was exceptional. Food was fresh and served crazy fast!! We got half and half (2 different pizzas on one pan). I wish I had written down our server because he was so funny and entertaining!! 5 +Stars!!!

This place is serving up flash-fire pizzas. Service is friendly and quick, and pizzas cook up in like five minutes. They had a lot of options and you could build your own too. Was a bit pricey - they wanted like $1.50 per topping on top of an $11 pizza so it adds up quick. But the judge of all pizzas, the crust, passed the test. Chewy with crispy edges and that great wood-fired flavor. Overall, a pretty good spot for pizza in Gatlinburg.

It was great. Food was excellent. We didn't expect live music on a Wednesday and it was great too. Will definitely visit again. Had Mike for our waiter. He was amazing. I would have rather been seated on the floor instead of up top, until I met him. He made our experience so much better. I would have sat outside by the road if it meant we had him as a waiter.

We visited on a Thursday evening and was seated right away. The service was quick. Food came out hot and yummy. Their "tots" are not traditional tots, but were good. The kids meal is super cute as it comes in a dog bowl and the kids can keep the bowl. They had options for vegetarian and gluten free.

If you’re in town for a weekend getaway, this place is a must try. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and clean. The service was top tier, ask for Squirrel, he was very attentive and gave great recommendations on where to go. The food did not disappoint; everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Make sure to add this spot to your list during your visit.
Yaya S — Google review
Our first time visiting...I ordered the appetizer wings and my wife ordered a burger with fries. Our waiter (Tye, hope i spelled his name correctly) did a great job. Very polite and professional. As for the food, there were some issues. Starting with my wings...I must say the flavor was really good. Whatever the sauce that the wings were sitting in was unbelievable. Wing skin had a great flavor..however...there was zero consistency in cooking. Over cooked, tough skin, meat was flavored very well, but most was so over cooked it was impossible to enjoy. I must say, had the cook time been on point, these would have been incredible. As for my wife's burger, she stated it was good. The fries were exceptionally cold and she asked the waiter for some hot fries. He quickly brought her an additional plate, but they were just as cold, if not colder than the first order. With all this being said, we will not and would not recommend Ole Red to anyone, at least not this location. Great flavor, but cold and over cooked food. Also, 10 to 12 dollars for a 12 oz can beer is totally ridiculous.

Atmosphere was casual and fun. The live music performances were entertaining. The wait staff was really friendly, fun and helpful. The wait time for food and drinks was minimal. The food was delicious as well. All in it was a great experience, thank you Ole Red!

She even snuck and told the musician it was my husband’s birthday, noticing it on her own. It was too cute ! The food was awesome as well. The ambience was very nice! We will definitely be back !

Restaurant
Chesapeake's Seafood and Raw Bar is a top-notch seafood restaurant that prides itself on serving fresh seafood flown in daily, rivaling the best coastal seafood eateries in the nation. The menu features an array of delectable options including tasters, chowder, gumbo, bisque, sandwiches, oysters, lobster, salmon, tuna, grouper, clams and shellfish.
We came to celebrate at your establishment for our daughter’s 21st birthday and we are so glad we did! From the moment I called to make the reservation, the friendly host, the manager who was so nice and accommodating to our families needs, the amazing food, and last but not least our server was Natalia! Natalia was absolutely phenomenal from beginning to end. She was so patient and kind. Her menu navigation and suggestions were amazing. She made my daughter (the birthday girl) feel so special! I was so nervous about bringing my three year old, not sure if he would sit still for our dining experience. Natalia would talk to him and play with him and it really relieved my stress. She also took the time to bring him to the lobster tank and actually took one out for him to look at. We thought that was so cool. Just wanted to give recognition to your amazing staff especially Natalia for going over and beyond to give us an unforgettable dining experience! We will definitely return and recommend your establishment to others! Thank you! From the Vite Family ❤️

Chesapeake’s brings a more refined dining experience to Gatlinburg, with fresh seafood flown in daily and a cozy riverside setting. The broiled seafood platter and fried shrimp are solid picks—generous portions, well-seasoned, and plated with care. The heated patio adds a nice touch, especially in cooler months, and the raw bar is worth a look if you’re into oysters. Service is generally attentive, though peak hours can feel a bit rushed. Prices lean upscale, but the quality and atmosphere justify it for a special night out. It’s a great choice if you’re looking to step away from the usual tourist fare and enjoy something a little more polished.

Great place to visit if you are gluten free- they have many options including some that aren't listed, such as the fresh crab cakes which they can make without the panko topping and which we enjoyed immensely. They can make things safe for celiacs as well and the manager will come over to discuss and confirm with you what your needs are. It's handicap accessible with a ramp. It's close to the main part of town but off of it enough to be quieter. We sat in an aisle but it looked like there was seating that would overlook the river. There's also a bar. Along with the crab cakes I had the seafood salad which was fresh and delicious.

First trip to Gatlinburg and decided to give Chesapeake’s a try. Honestly, my husband was nervous at the beginning, thinking it was a big chain restaurant however the food was fresh and absolutely delicious! The oysters were scrumptious and my favorite. The onion rings were perfectly made! The fish was so yummy too! Magdalah, our waitress, was so super sweet and patient. This restaurant is extremely busy at all times and thus you will need a reservation well in advance (like months)!! Traffic was a nightmare and so we made it just in time. I was seated to keep our reservation while my husband parked the car which was not as simple as we thought but a 25 min later nightmare being on the main strip in Gatlinburg. Magdala was so understanding and allowed me the time to keep our table while also checking on me, keeping me company while waiting on my husband and serving me beverages . Chesapeake’s was well worth it all and I can’t wait to go back!!! Outstanding service and meal!

Had a fantastic meal Jason gave us great service. Everything we ordered was delicious crab stuffed mushrooms are a must . Sorry we started eating and I realized I definitely need to take pictures for a review. Your going to pay for this food. But I'm willing to pay for delicious food. We all 4 left very happy. With what we ate. Jason was our server and did a fantastic job thank you Jason. Don't be surprised to spend $50 to _$100 a person that's with drinks and a good tip included in this amount. We parked across the street at crossroads for $10 a hour for our convenience. You can park up the street at Public parking. We walked in early didn't make a reservation. It wasent peek time and it was a Wednesday when they opened. So wasent to busy. I'm sure best to make reservations during busy times. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!!

OMG!! Tonight I found the best seafood place in Gatlinburg. It's fantastic. I had the Steamed Seafood Feast. I had twin lobster tails, clams, oysters, shrimp, mussels, and the best creamed spinach I've ever had. I absolutely loved it. Will be back. This would be a great place to spend an Anniversary.
Leigh P — Google review
Make a reservation or expect a 2 hour weight on the weekend! Steaks and oysters were to die for!!! The lobster tail was a disappointment unfortunately. It was very tough and rubbery. My recommendation is get the crab legs or oysters over the lobster 🦞

This is a more upscale spot than the usual in Gatlinburg (casual dress still fine). We were seated right away on a Sunday around 5:30 (no reservation), but it did fill up while we ate. My son enjoyed his shrimp & grits, and I liked my crab stuffed flounder, but my wife didn't like the taste of her grilled scallops. She ate some of it, but thought it was overly smoky. We didn't ask for any accommodation, but the manager came over and made a small gesture toward our bill, which we appreciated. Our server Mark was an enjoyable chap and took good care of us.

Really cool place. They have the little bottles of moonshine and lots of other snacks. The location is clean and the gentleman working was nice and knowledgeable. Ten out of ten recommend.

This place is great. Only place I could find near the main strip that has their own parking lot. Has just about everything you need while traveling. Quick food service. Not the best but priced great for what you get. Burger plates are great. Hotdogs have a funky taste but I think it’s just a different ketchup. Would recommend for a family on a budget! Will absolutely be a go to for anything we need.

Drive 8 hours through the mountains, wanted some food or snacks, looked this place up, had hours listed as opened til 11, got there doors are locked with the hours sign listing 11pm close. Went to the liquor store attached to it to ask for the time. 10:10pm. Maybe just don't list your hours if you want to close early. Really wanted to support a small business, guess kroger works too.

We were having trouble finding anywhere to eat breakfast, that didnt have a 2hour wait , we bumped in to old dads , and they were our saving grace !!!!! Service was great and helpful, owner super nice !! Breakfast sandwiches were amazing !!!!! We had bacon eggs and cheese sandwich and a tenderloin egg and cheese !! Both amazing ! Thanks and compliments to cook- DESTANY , you did a great job !!! They have everything from fire starter logs to boiled peanuts , definitely adding to my go to spots in gatlinburg

Tenderloin biscut was dry and had no flavor could not even eat the pizza here was worse than a school pizza or frozen pizza. Also the cashier forgot to put the pizza order back so we had to wait 30 minutes for a nasty pizza that my family threw away after a couple bites. General store is cool. I feel they should stop selling food. They were nice though!

They're good at being a general store and the fact they're open 24/7. The food from the cafe was surprisingly gross (a cheeseburger and a BLT both went unfinished. Which was impressive because we were starving), so we went and got tasty food at Cumberland Jacks

This place was absolutely terrible. DO NOT GO. My family just wanted a quick dinner. We have many allergies in our family so we asked them to take off a few things on the sandwiches we ordered. My youngest asked for no mayo, mustard, or onions and what did they do? They put all three of those things on her sandwich!!! There was no respect for their customers and the cook was so rude. Worst experience in Gatlinburg yet.

Video arcade
Fannie Farkle's Amusement is a must-visit venue in downtown Gatlinburg, offering a unique combination of delicious food and exciting arcade entertainment. While it may not be your typical sit-down restaurant, the menu boasts mouthwatering options such as footlong corn dogs, sausage subs, cheesesteaks, and the famous Ogle Dogs. These corn dog-style treats are prepared using a secret family recipe with locally sourced ingredients.
Fannie Farkle’s is a Gatlinburg staple! Reminds me of my childhood! Every single time, the corndogs do not disappoint! They are delicious! I always want to try the sandwich but corndog wins! The arcade has a little something for everyone! If you’re walking around downtown, it’s a must!
Megan W — Google review
Most reviews talk about the food so let me give a review in regards to the arcade: not good. We enjoyed the arcade 15 years ago and came back for the nostalgia but seems like a lot changed. It’s like all claw machines or those dropping tokens and hoping it pushes a card down games. We love a good arcade and do them frequently so we know the good games well. There were not many good games and the good ones they had were broken or ‘rigged.’ For example the knock the clowns down game had so few balls it would be impossible to win the jackpot. Both ping pong games had cups that didn’t register so it was impossible to win. We saw a different arcade down the street that looked like it would have been a lot better. Even if you like claw machines, these didn’t seem very ‘friendly’ to winning. The arcade glory days of Fannie Farkle are over. Maybe they have good food (didn’t try it) but don’t go here for the arcade!
Brittany S — Google review
We were drawn in by the smell of grilled onions. I ordered the smoked sausage and my wife ordered the cheesesteak. Both were amazing! The cheesesteak was absolutely loaded with beef and cheese. We couldn’t finish it. The sausage had the perfect snap and was served piping hot. It was so good that I went back to see if I could order some to the house. That’s when I found out that they have have a supplier that makes them specifically for them. Fast and friendly service too. This will be a stop that we make every time we’re in town now. Reminded me of fair food. 10/10 (the picture is after the cheesesteak cooled in the fridge, but it should still show how loaded the sandwich was)
Quindon K — Google review
This is always a must stop for our family! My son absolutely loves the corn dogs here & loves the arcade games. We always spend more than an hour here. Staff have always been friendly & helpful. There are many different games & some super cool prizes! To play the games you use one of the machines around the arcade, you receive a reusable game card and the machines take cash bills & credit/debit cards. The food is served at the front of the arcade. This is not a ‘restaurant’ so expect to stand or walk around or even find a bench just outside to eat your food.

If you’re looking for an exceptional corn dog, this is the place. Every time we come to Gatlinburg, we have to stop here for my wife. Super fresh, hand dipped corn dogs that are sometimes so hot you have to wait for them to cool off. I think the guy working there has pretty much been there his entire life and interacts very well with his customers.
Alan B — Google review
Walked in after seeing a few ppl chowing down a corn dog, and I had to go get 3 more since the rest of the family loved it! Very kind gentleman making the fresh corn dogs and he saw it was my daughter’s birthday and gave her a drink on the house. Made my daughter’s day!
Navjot G — Google review
Our food was dynamite!! My husband is always talking about wanting a hotdog on a stick (corndog) and we FINALLY got it here! Our corndog was well breaded and delicious! The footlong hotdog with chilli was INSANE! The hotdog was so big and a FOOT along! It was so good! If you get ANY toppings on the hotdog, make sure you have napkins because it was very messy!! Usually, places that offer huge food lacks in quality or flavor, but NOT AT FANNIES!! Overall the food makes this a 5 out of 5! The employees were friendly, very nice, and working hard! However, it was a bit of a wait to order because there were only two, and in one area 1 employee trying to ring up customers and cook the orders, creating a lot of waiting. The workers would benefit from more help in the food areas!! We even got a souvenir cup! We will definitely return again when on the strip!

Deli
Parton's Deli is a hidden gem in Gatlinburg, established in 1974 and beloved by locals and tourists alike. This family-owned deli offers classic sandwiches with fresh ingredients and Southern hospitality. The unassuming exterior gives way to a warm atmosphere where you can enjoy a variety of steamed sandwiches, hot dogs, deviled eggs, and potato salad.
I have seen the infamous black BMW parked here for YEARS and finally heard of Parton’s Deli a few years ago online and knew I had to eat here. It took quite a few trips before our schedule coincided with their operating hours but we finally made it and we were not disappointed! We only wish we had discovered them decades ago so we could have been enjoying their delicious sandwiches all these years. It’s a great little old school deli that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Best sandwich ever.

Love Parton’s Deli. Use to patronize this place when Dennis ran it. Now there is someone new in there and still just as amazing. The girl that runs the place does an excellent job. Super friendly. She is so nice. We will be back again and again. The steamed sandwiches are beyond delicious ❤️
Dorothy C — Google review
🥪 Parton’s Deli – Gatlinburg, TN ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) “Closed on weekends. Open in your memories forever.” When I travel, I stick to two sacred rituals: 1. Find the best local coffee shop. 2. Find a sub spot that doesn’t cut corners—or lettuce. So when I saw Parton’s Deli on Google Maps, the photos practically reached out and slapped a sandwich in my hand. The place had that we’ve-been-doing-this-since-before-you-were-born look. And guess what? They have—since 1974. That’s over 50 years of subs, steamers, and stories. But heads up: Parton’s doesn’t follow your schedule—you follow theirs. They’re open Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM, and closed on weekends and holidays. Translation: if you show up Saturday afternoon, the only thing getting fed is your regret. I went during Fourth of July weekend, which, as I quickly learned, is peak Gatlinburg gridlock. Parking was... let’s just say creative. I circled more than a hawk over a picnic, but I found a spot. And it was absolutely worth the hunt. 🧑‍🍳 Alyssa: The One-Woman Show Inside, it’s a cozy, old-school deli with Pepsi memorabilia lining the walls. Clearly, this is not a Coke-friendly zone. At the helm? Alyssa. She’s the cashier, cook, storyteller, and vibe curator. And she’s doing it all solo, even on the busiest weekend of the year. Instead of stress, she brought kindness, humor, and great conversation. We chatted about our kids (hers are 6 and 9, mine 10 and 7), Gatlinburg’s busy season, and how she beat social anxiety by working here: “You don’t get a choice when you’re the only one making the sandwiches.” Love that. She also filled me in on the legendary BMW parked out front. I'd seen it on TikTok—millions have—and it turns out it belongs to David, one of the original Parton brothers. He’s lived upstairs since the ’80s, beat cancer twice, and became a local icon after someone made a Facebook page for his car. He still pops in to say hi from time to time. 🥪 Sandwiches That Speak for Themselves I ordered: The Italian (cold) The Reuben (steamed) Alyssa broke down the menu: top half = steamed, bottom half = cold, and every sub you see was voted in by customer demand over the years. These aren’t gimmicky or overloaded—they’re just right. The Reuben was hot, melty perfection. The steam blends the meat, cheese, and dressing into a single delicious mouthful. The Italian brought that classic sub shop energy: fresh, salty, and balanced. They were out of deviled eggs, or as Alyssa calls them, “angel eggs”—because “they’re too good to be deviled.” I was crushed. I’d seen them in reviews and photos. But hey, now I have an excuse to come back. 🔍 Pro Tips: Don’t go on a weekend. Just… don’t. Arrive early if it’s a busy week—parking’s a beast. Talk to Alyssa—you’ll walk out full of food and stories. Order the Reuben. That’s the one. If angel eggs are available, act fast. Or don’t. I’ll take yours.
Ameer R — Google review
This was a great find on Google! The food was excellent and the only worker in there was making sandwiches and taking orders so there was a bit of a wait, but for only worker it wasn't bad. The food is a little pricey but worth for all fresh ingredients sliced every day. My got a Reuben and said it was fantastic and I got a turkey sandwich and it was delicious as well. Definitely a nice little sandwich shop to swing in and grab a nice deli style sandwich!

My experience at Parton‘s deli was excellent. The service was amazing and I was fortunate enough to meet the owner. She was wonderful. She was so kind and so efficient. WOW! I truly do not even know where to start! This place is mouth-wateringly delicious. And I've eaten a lot of them. As soon as you walk in, it is truly like you have stepped back in time, from the smells, the sounds, the food, the menu & Dennis (and his flip phone 😅😍). Everything about Parton's Deli is OLD SCHOOL, the best. And let me remind you, this is a ONE MAN SHOW. The Reuben, the STEAMER (if you know, you KNOW) the chili dogs, the DEVILED EGGS, the LEMON 🍋 pound cake, the bottled root beer, the chips, DENNIS, the atmosphere & everything else inbetween will blow you away. Do your self a favor & stop in this HIDDEN gem, I promise you, you will NOT regret it!

After a day wandering through Gaitlinburg checking out the sites and 100 different chain stores and restaurants we were hot and hungry! I also was hoping to find something out of the ordinary and local. Partons was awesome! There’s nothing like a well made sandwich on a hot day and these were great sandwiches! Loaded with your choice of veggies, cold sandwiches and even steamed! Hot dogs for the picky kids and great sides - deviled eggs, pickles, potato salad (had a hint of bacon) and really good coleslaw. Their steamed Italian “hoagie” was even approved by these New England Italians! Which is a tall order. One of the best things we had to eat while in the area.

Timbers Log Cabin Restaurant is a charming, rustic eatery nestled in the Glades Community near downtown Gatlinburg. This mom and pop spot offers generous sandwiches and unique burgers, such as the Mt. Man Chili featuring two 1/3lb hamburgers with a variety of toppings. The menu also boasts mouthwatering comfort food like gooey steak and cheese sandwiches and smoked pulled pork topped with tangy coleslaw.
What a gem off of the beaten path. My family was so over the commercialization of Gatlinburg proper and decided halfway through our trip to find the “local” spots. Timber’s Log Cabin was just that! We sampled the biscuits and gravy, pancakes and the cheesy grits. The cheesy grits were by far the BEST grits I have ever had. My daughter felt the pancakes were so fluffy and had the best flavor. She asked for chewy bacon and they served it up perfectly. The biscuit was light and fluffy and the gravy perfectly seasoned. We loved listening to the staff singing along with their country music playlist. We also enjoyed looking at all of the patrons sketches adorning the walls. We would eat breakfast here everyday on our next trip. Did not mind ordering at the counter. Service was so friendly.

Grabbed lunch here while exploring some of the local stores and so glad we did!! Food was fresh and delicious, service was very friendly, and the food was out quickly. Loved the BLT and the baked beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. My husband loved the burger that was served on French toast and came with syrup. Would come back if we’re in the area again!

Stayed in town on a family vacation a few weeks ago and wanted to get away from all the busy breakfast spots that everyone always seems to go to. The food was so good we came here two morning in a row for breakfast. The staff were AMAZING and so welcoming. Small mom and pop breakfast spot with plentiful options. They also offer gluten-free options. Indoor and outdoor seating. After you grab some food, check out all the local shops around the restaurant!

Don’t pass by this place! What a fantastic little breakfast joint! From the kids’ drawings all over the walls, to the cute outdoor tables, to Garry’s serenading from the cooktop inside; the atmosphere is primo. Serious “visiting family mountainside” vibes. Where else are you gonna get pan cooked eggs and bacon? Food was great, service was great. I LOVED it. Felt like I was visiting friends. Halloween decorations on point too :)

We happened upon this gem on a girl’s trip and LOVED it! Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. Wonderful and kind hospitality, and a very sweet, family owned atmosphere. No notes! It was wonderful!

We loved this place! The atmosphere, warm and friendly service, the servers treat you like family. They are very dog friendly. They brought out water and crumble bacon for our fur baby! Oh let's not forget the delicious shrimp and grits! Make sure to visit when your hungry 😋! The burgers are huge and amazing!! We give them a 5⭐️

From the moment we entered we were expecting to love this place. The smells from the griddle were mouth watering. And the decor and ambience were great. We were told the owners were running the griddle. Good classic country music was playing and from the griddle you could hear the man singing along with the male singers and the woman with the female singers. It sure makes you think they love what they do and were having fun. And when the food came out it was even better than I was expecting. The bleu cheese burger was so great I could eat it every day for lunch and not get bored. And for sides the grits were so flavorful. I come to the Smoky Mountains several times a year and this place is now added to the list of places I'm going to enjoy every trip!

Our party of 5 adults and 2 pups stopped by for brunch today on our way out of town. The entire experience was an absolute joy! Being in the food service industry myself, I always want to check out the local establishments. It was a joy to walk in and hear the grill cook singing his heart out. The ladies working there were so happy, friendly, and hospitable. The food was wonderful, to say the least! I highly recommend checking out this little gem!

Howard's Restaurant in Gatlinburg is a historic dining destination that has been serving delicious meals since 1946, making it the oldest restaurant in the area. The bi-level establishment features a steakhouse on the main floor and a laid-back pub upstairs, offering a sophisticated dining experience. Situated by Le Conte Creek, it provides a serene atmosphere despite its central location.
Service is prompt and friendly. We were quickly seated and tended to. The adult beverages are strong and will bring comfort to your tired legs after walking around downtown Gatlinburg. The mozzarella sticks are some of the best I've had, and apparently are made by their Italian restaurant next door. The burger was cooked medium rare as I ordered it. The bacon was not burnt or raw and wasn't lacking or excessive. Perfect compliment. The French dip was done proper. Bread was toasted well, without being burnt. No soggy bread! Fries were excellent, though the onion rings were not my style. Your mileage may vary. This is an upper class restaurant. Food, beverages and staff were top notch. The bill will reflect this. Well worth the cost!

The place is nice, and very clean. They have nice options. We got the 'Two Steak Dinners for $77' We each had an 8 ounce filet mignon. Really well cooked, tender and juicy. There were 2 sides as well. We had their lemon cream cake for dessert. It was also really good.

We had a lovely experience at Howard’s Restaurant in Gatlinburg! The ambience is wonderful especially with the relaxing stream flowing right beside the seating area. We ordered the fried mushrooms and fried catfish, both of which were delicious and perfectly cooked. Chicken wings were delicious too. The food was great, and the service was friendly and attentive. A beautiful spot to unwind and enjoy a good meal in Gatlinburg.

I think there are a lot of overpriced mid restaurants in gatlinburg who take advantage of tourists. Howards i think is actaully worth the money and one of the better restaurants in downtown gatlinburg. The ambience/atmosphere was truly breathtaking. We saw a bear in the creek right next to us as we were eating our food. Server was great super personable and made the night better. The food wasnt AMAZING but wasnt bad. I got the pork chop and it was pretty average, but the mushrooms and carrot sides were rlly good and complimented the pork well. Neat American restaurant in Gatlinburg and would recommend for people in need of a casual american restaurant. 4.0/5

I love a great burger and our waitress aimed to please. I really wanted an all American burger but it wasn't on the menu, I asked or server and she said give me a minute, when she arrived back to the table she had asked the chefs if they would accommodate my order and be dammed if they didn't deliver. When you are asked how you want you burger cooked and you'll put an over easy egg on for me you are customer service excellence. The serving size was large and filling and had phenomenal flavor. Thank you for going over and above for our group we loved it.

Wonderful steak place with a great atmosphere and staff. We had the Steak for 2 on the menu- you get 2 meals. Choice of 8oz filet or 14oz Riley and 2 sides each. We love the spinach dip appetizer.

Came here on a Saturday night, was very busy but worth it. Got drinks at the bar while waiting and the Spiced Chai cocktail was lovely. Food was quick and service was great! We had grilled chicken entree, a soup/salad, and the French dip sandwich.

-Our waitress Candice was so live. She made our entire first experience waterside for our honeymoon worth while! She never once treated us with any rush and (come to find out) we were her last table. -The food was top notch. Open face roast beef, mashed potato’s and salad & ribs, Mac N Cheese and a loaded baked potato. The water front meal was top tier and I highly recommend this location. We ate there because it was near our hotel and I am so glad that we did!!!! -The back porch eating by the water was so aesthetic. So peaceful. -They also took random pictures of us (not knowing it was our honeymoon) and I loved them!!! (This is the wife speaking, by the way! - Heather)

Pizza restaurant
Slice Pizza Bakery in Gatlinburg offers a relaxed dining experience with its New York-style pizzas, salads, calzones, and sandwiches. The pizzeria is known for serving the largest slices of pizza in the area, ensuring that customers leave feeling satisfied. Their handcrafted pizzas are made from scratch and feature crispy, thin crusts topped with classic ingredients.
Was craving a pizza slice and didn’t have high hopes for the area, found this spot looking on Google maps and it gave me less hope when it was inside an arcade. However… I was surprised at the deliciousness of every crunchy NY style pizza. I ended up getting two slices and they were huge! I thought the $6.99 price was steep but the size and flavor made it worth it!
Juan C — Google review
If you are in the mood of a large pizza slice you will have arrived at the right location. Pepperoni and cheese are the options and the atmosphere is an arcade. It was great because we walked into this secondary room where they had mini bowling and we sat around the table and just enjoyed the largest slice of pizza we have ever seen. Maybe there is bigger but to our kids opinion no other slice could be bigger and they are quite large. Tasted great and full for sure. If you’re looking for a pizza that you can take a great picture with and enjoy at the same time this is the place to go.
Kevin G — Google review
This pizza spot is tucked in an arcade and not heavily advertised. They sell single slice or whole pies, cheese or pepperoni. This pizza hits the spot EVERY time, we usually will slip in once or twice during our time in town. Food comes out fast and hot. As you can see, my husband started demolishing a slice before the camera was out!
Hanna H — Google review
The biggest slice of New York style thin crust pizza I've ever seen in my life. Light sauce and right amount of cheese make this slice easy to eat and filling in the stomach. The soft drinks are free refill which is rare in this area. Great value on the $7.99 per slice cost.
Alexander E — Google review
Kinda what you expect for an oversized pizza slice on the main strip of a tourist town. The cook was friendly and cashier was chill. It’s in a Dave n busters arcade atmosphere.

We wanted to get a quick bite to eat while shopping in Gatlinburg. They sell pizza by the slice. $6.99 for a plain cheese slice and $7.49 for a pepperoni slice. I chose the plain, but if I go again I think I would choose the pepperoni. Both were very good! It is thin style pizza with a very crunchy crust. The slices were so large, I wasn’t able to finish my piece!

Was skeptical at 1st but glad we got the whole pie. What a fun experience for adults and kids alike. The pie is huge. The crust was crispy, the sauce was food and the pepperonis were very big. Would definitely recommend. The staff was quick and friendly to boot.

When in Gatlinburg, make sure to visit J.O.E. and Pop's Sub Shoppe for a delightful dining experience. This counter-service eatery offers a variety of subs, cheesesteaks, hot dogs, and wings for dine-in or take-out. The shop takes pride in using simple, all-natural ingredients to create their delicious sandwiches and sides.
Friendly staff and great food. I always recommend this place when people ask me for a great restaurant in the area.
Tom B — Google review
We came to this sub shop specifically because we heard that it offer great gluten-free options and we were not disappointed! The staff told us that the owner’s kids are celiac and several staff have gf family members, so they are very attentive to gf needs. The gf wrap was excellent. The portions are generous and fresh. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for gluten-free options!
Sara P — Google review
The food here is consistently well prepared and very good. The restaurant combines J.O.E. and Pop's Sub Shoppe (various subs and sandwiches—the Reuben is phenomenal!) with Mama's Chicken Kitchen (the chicken & dumplings and mashed potatoes—taste like homemade!) so with a wide variety, it's easy to find something to please everyone. The service is friendly and efficient, although during high traffic times can be a bit lacking and slow due to understaffing during those times. Our last visit, during the second week of October about an hour or so after lunchtime, was extremely busy and we waited 45 minutes for a to-go order for two. It was the first time we were ever missing an item from our order, but due to the overwhelming number of guests to staff ratio, I excused it for this rating and review because I've never seen it so busy and have never had it happen before. Though the wait was long and we were missing an item, our meal was still very fresh and delicious.
Wendy N — Google review
We came here after a hike and it was awesome! Service was great and fast, and the food was so hot and fresh and delicious! We had a Reuben with a side of chicken dumplings, a Philly with green beans and mac and cheese, and a fried chicken sandwich with coleslaw and mac and cheese. All of it was delicious!!
Christina T — Google review
Very popular local place. We had the fried chicken (a little greasy for me, but clearly fine for most people) and chicken tenders. Their cole slaw was delicious and they let us taste it before we ordered it. They also offered sub sandwiches, but we didn't try those.
Cindy P — Google review
Got 2 chicken cheesesteaks for me and my son last weekend. No sides come with the meal, and the sandwiches were about the size of a hot dog. Not only that, but the sandwich only has chicken and onions in them. Person that took my order was also not very friendly. Up in this area a lot. Better options locally, will pass on this place in the future

After a long day of driving we pulled into this place for dinner. It was a cute little place. Husband had Reuben, wife had chef salad, older son had burger, daughter had fried chicken salad, young son had turkey sub with dumplings. Food was great, workers were friendly, and place was nice. Loved the pictures on the wall.
Shannon M — Google review
This could be my new go-to place when I am in Gatlinburg. While prices were a little outside my comfort zone for lunch, the portion size and quality made up for it. Bread was INCREDIBLY fresh. I ordered the Italian sub and I was not disappointed. Employees were nice and the place was spotless. Can't wait to go back and try a few other sandwiches. Highly recommended.

Food & Drink
Sugarlands Distilling Company is a popular moonshine maker located in downtown Gatlinburg. The rustic, industrial-chic distillery offers indoor and outdoor tours, tastings, and live music. Visitors can enjoy a full seasonal cocktail tasting led by an expert TasteMaker, featuring samples of moonshine, whiskey, and more with tasting notes and cocktail ideas.
The Behind the Stave experience was a relaxed way to experience Sugarland's products. Jeff, our great bartender and host let us know that we would have an opportunity to experience new and unique cocktails in their distillery's speak easy, and that did not disappoint. The speak easy lounge has nice ambient lighting and mellow and loud jazz music so that conversations could be held without having to raise your voice. Jeff prepared 3 full sized drinks for us, two with moonshine and the third you had a choice of moonshine or whiskey. The first was a unique and a pleasant surprise, the second was delicious and a great brunch cocktail, and my third choice was a classic and smooth whiskey drink. The vibe overall was relaxing. Jeff was pleasant, and entertaining, all while not taking away from the relaxed atmosphere. Also, if you are a whiskey fan and want to pour and label and seal your own bottle of Sugarland's whiskey, that is an option you can purchase when booking. For the attendees who purchased it, they seemed very happy with the results and it was a neat process to observe. I do have two suggestions for the Sugarland Team,: 1) At the time of my reservation in early October, 2025, the package was advertised as including 4 drinks. However, Jeff let us know that prior customers requested full size drinks instead of 4 small drinks, so this change to three full drinks was reasonable. I suggest that the website be updated to reflect this change so visitors will know what to expect; and 2) While the website at the time of my booking stated a factory tour was included, there wasn't one at the 8:30 pm tour that I participated in. I would suggest updating the website to remove this because frankly focusing on the speak easy experience alone was worth it. Overall, these suggestions do not take away from the great job by Jeff or from this being an enjoyable way to be introduced to moonshine and trying local whiskey.

We just left this establishment and had an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TIME!!! We had Judge Abbey for our tasting and she "held court" above & beyond fabulous!!! She was very funny & knowledgeable! We were in town this weekend for our anniversary and dropped by Sugarlands to do a tasting. This was our first time at this distillery but not the first time at a distillery. Hands down, Sugarlands is the best! Not only is the product smoother and better tasting, but the staff is amazing! Maddie was our server and she was fantastic! Our group, as a whole, had so much fun. Maddie included everyone in the experience and, by the end of the tasting, it felt like we were all friends! Not only was she hilarious but she was very knowledgeable of the products and gave great ideas for mixing them! The fact that you can redeem your $5 wrist bands on products is an added bonus! Oh, and let’s not forget the bar out back! The drinks include a good pour and are delicious! We will be back!

Super fun spot in downtown Gatlinburg. They have an outdoor stage with rocking chairs to sit and listen to live folk music between the store and the distillery. You can read about the moonshine making process and the history. In the shop, you can pay a few bucks to do a fun tasting (they'll give you a $5 coupon to buy something when you do the tasting). Nestled in a complex with country cooking eateries, pottery, candy, and toy shops, The Old Mill Restaurant is a haven for soul-satisfying Southern comfort food. It's renowned as one of the most popular restaurants in the Great Smokies region. Despite potential wait times, visitors are assured that their breakfast will be worth it. The restaurant is known for serving insanely large portions and is recommended for those with hearty appetites.
If you come on a weekend, expect about an hour wait. We arrived around 7pm and were told the wait was 1 hr and 20 minutes, luckily we got seated around 45 minutes. Food, portion is LARGE and we were surprised it came with so many sides and even dessert! They have house-made ice cream! The food was good and not salty. Service was great. Ask for the pot roast gravy for the mash potato, it’s so delicious.

We went around 1:30 pm for lunch and had no wait! From all the reviews and word of mouth, was told food was amazing. The fried chicken was superb, but the green beans and mash potatoes were lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes reminded me of boxed potatoes. The chicken n dumplings were good. I was under whelmed with the corn fritters, I was hoping for more of a hushpuppy and flavor. It's basically fried dough. They serve it with maple butter. I am not a fan. The fritter tasted better dipped in the vegetable and corn chowder soup. The soups were good. The corn chowder was better than I expected and had a lot of flavor. It was a mix between gravy and soup. The portion size was generous and we left with Togo boxes. The lunch entrée didn't include dessert.

Fantastic and Beautiful Restaurant , highly recommend. This was our first time as we're traveling on vacation. I've been in the area 5 days and wished I'd found it sooner. We had a great table overlooking the water on the second floor. My husband had prime rib cooked perfectly for humans I had turkey and stuffing meal with fried okra , mashed potatoes, greenbeans, corn chowder soup. For desert we had blackberry cobler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The blackberry cobler was Amazing ,in fact the best I've ever had !! I have to say they have alot of great staff and our waitress Cheslee D was spot on with refills and checking on us, very polite, great at multitasking, she's good for your business. Our meal price included desert, soup and salad and really good portions. 30.99 for 8 oz prime rib, baked potato, green beans ,garden salad and a cup a soup plus desert...Outstanding food 😋 Outstanding service.

My wife and visiting in town decided to try this place, based on good reviews. Well it was actually pretty good. I had the omelette as pictured and the wife had the classic breakfast which is a sample of all the classics. The only thing the small pancakes were served cold. Other than that it was pretty good, in fact the grits were pretty good too, and I do recommend. It's not a place I would go to every day, but I do give it a good review. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. 👍

Amazing!!!! Top resturant in the area for sure!!!!! We ate at the apple barn a day or two before and it has NOTHING on the old mill. The service was spectacular and super fast. The food was fresh and filling! You get so much food you could easily share with another person. We also talked family into trying it (they only eat togo due to health issues) and they went back for several days and got Togo food. We arrived around 4pm and walked right in. The parking is a little difficult but its totally worth it. We walked around the little village before eating and bought a few goodies.

There was a long wait to dine at this restaurant. We gave our name and waited over 30 minutes for them to call us in the loud speaker. While we waited, we browsed the adjoining gift shop. They have so many fun and unique things for sale. When they finally called our name we went back to the restaurant and we were seated. I ordered liver and onions. My companion ordered fried chicken tenders. Both meals came with seasoned green beans, mashed potatoes, corn chowder. While we wait for our meals, we were brought some sweet fried things. They looked like hush puppies but they were better than that. So good. Our whole meal was delicious and definitely worth the wait.

The old Mill is one of the restaurants that lived up to all of the hype! It was so delicious we went twice, and you WILL NOT leave hungry! The corn fritters and chowder were AMAZING, the chicken and dumplings were super good, the pot roast was tasty, and the desserts were to die for. Plus service was great and they were easy going, I don't like salad so I was able to get a cup of fruit instead (wasn't exactly listed as a side but they accommodated. Whether your here early or late your going to wait, but it was nice that they quoted an hr and both times we only waited like 40 mins at most.

Had such a great dinner that we returned for breakfast! Fast friendly service. Great atmosphere. Beautiful scenery. Delicious food. SO MUCH FOOD! exceptional value for the money. For dinner I ordered the fried chicken and was served 3 MASSIVE chicken breasts which also included a salad, cup of corn chowder, mashed potato and dessert! All for $26.

Diner
American restaurant
Mel's Classic Diner is a retro-style eatery in Pigeon Forge, offering generous portions of classic American diner food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The 1950s ambiance with vintage cars and rock and roll music creates a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu features home-cooked meals like chicken and dumplings, hand-breaded catfish, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, chili, and more.
Food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We came to eat here as it was highly touted by our friend Brooks. We were NOT disappointed. Philly cheese steak was delicious and fresh. My wife's cheeseburger was terrific and the fries hot and crispy just like we love them. Great waitress Samantha was a pleasure and very helpful. We finished with an out of this world Banana Split which we shared that was heavenly!! We highly recommend Mel's!!!

Mel’s Diner in Pigeon Forge is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight back to the golden age of classic diners — shiny chrome accents, cozy booths, jukebox tunes, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is everything you want from a true American diner and more. Their burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked, piled high with fresh toppings and served with crispy golden fries that taste like they came straight out of the 1950s. Breakfast here is a must-try too — fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, and thick slices of bacon that are pure comfort on a plate. And you can’t leave without trying their milkshakes; they’re rich, creamy, and come in all the nostalgic flavors you dream about. What really sets Mel’s apart is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to make your experience special. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or bringing the whole family for a fun meal, you’ll be treated like a regular. Between the unbeatable prices, the delicious food, the retro atmosphere, and the old-fashioned hospitality, Mel’s Diner is a must-visit spot in Pigeon Forge. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a slice of Americana you’ll want to come back to again and again

After visiting Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg, we decided to go to Mel’s Diner for dinner. For my meal, I ordered the country fried steak, which comes with two sides and Texas toast. I chose mac and cheese and fried okra for my sides. I thought that the country fried steak was crunchy, peppery, and hearty. The mac was extremely cheesy, the way mac should be. The okra and toast were just like any other. My cousin got the James Works burger, which is topped with chili, bacon, and mushrooms with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. He got it with no mushrooms and enjoyed it. My cousin’s girlfriend got the biscuit and gravy with two eggs and bacon. She loved it. My dad got the bacon cheeseburger, and he thought it was delicious. My mom got the Cajun burger and enjoyed it. Overall, I would highly recommend going to Mel’s for a delicious meal.

It was ok. Service was good. Food wasn’t anything to talk about. Grilled cheese had 3 pieces of bread but cheese was thin and cold. Bake beans were pork n beans. Big dog hot dog gets 2 topping. Asked for relish and got 3 little packets. Dog tasted good. Bread was old

My wife and I decided to try this placed on good reviews. And we really like trying different breakfast places. We are visiting from out of town and this seem to be a good place. And we were not disappointed. I had the Friends with beef tips Nice picture. And my wife had the egg white omelet as pictured as well. We both loved it. It was very busy when we went but the service was still good and we ate at the counter. We can tell everything was made fresh from the hash browns to the steak and fresh veggies. The prices were actually reasonable as well. Service was very good. I highly recommend and I would definitely be back if I was in the area or lived here.

I stopped at Mel’s Diner after seeing it had over 14,000 reviews, and even though I wasn’t specifically craving diner food, I’m really glad I pulled in. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. My server, Leah, was an absolute 12/10. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, fast, and genuinely made the visit feel special. Huge shout-out to her — she was a stellar server and absolutely a highlight of the stop. My entrée was amazing and came out extremely fast. I also ordered a banana split, and it was one of the rare places that makes it perfectly — and I’m pretty picky about those. Everything tasted great and was prepared exactly how it should be. The whole staff worked together flawlessly. Everyone seemed in sync, moving efficiently, and keeping everything running smoothly. The positive energy and seamless coordination really stood out.

We sat at the bar and had Leah as our server. Dinner and a show as we watched the Werner’s collect their food for distribution and listened to Leah singing along with the songs. This is truly a Classic Diner. If that’s what you are looking for this is a great place.

Nicole was a GREAT server!! Even her notepad shows experience!! The service was tip top shape and she kept us Well Beveraged! Haha!! My Husband and I are Locals, and we were on a little “Redneck-Vacation” We decided To choose This Wonderful little Diner because it was open late and the food looked Great, after showing me the reviews, my Husband Told us to get in!! We got there after calling and making sure that they were still open and was immediately greeted with a smile. They got us quickly seated, and Nicole got us our drinks after figuring out what we wanted and looking at the menu we ordered and we’re waiting on our food. We waited about 15 minutes. When the food came out, it looked so clean and homemade! It tasted just as good. Love the atmosphere of this little place. We will be back! The nachos are phenomenal! They are a must have! The Philly cheesesteak is also very good. However, the buns were cut completely through so it was hard to keep the contents in. Everything was cooked how we requested it for our little guy too!! We will be back!! Thanks Nicole for your Great Attitude and 5 STAR SERVICE!! My Recommendations: -the Nachos are banging!!! -the Phillycheese steak is Delicious Pros: -Good parking -Kid Friendly -GREAT MUSIC -Easy Order Classic Menu! -Decent Prices -Lively Environment -Open late Cons: -Don’t go in in a swimsuit, you’ll get dirty looks from some of the girls that work there lol. (One Host with brown hair…) -the bathrooms are a little hard to find at first Thanks! -The Kanevski’s

The brewery offers a variety of entertainment options, including multiple HDTVs and live music stage. Guests can enjoy a menu featuring pizza, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and wings along with a selection of bourbon, whiskey, wine, and champagne.
We have never had anything here that wasn't good. We got the Ole Smoky burger and the Kick-Back burger they were so good. We also got The Thunder Road Shrimp with fries oh my how good they both were. I loved the honey mustard potato salad. Will be back soon.

Smoky’s Brewery was very good! We went on a Friday evening and it was clear this is a popular weekend spot, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan to go. The atmosphere was lively, with great live music adding to the fun. The service was a little slow, but that’s to be expected on a busy weekend, and it didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, good food, good drinks, and a great vibe — worth checking out if you’re in Pigeon Forge!

The pizza was great and they have a nice selection of beer on tap, but the customer service at the bar really brought the experience down. The bartender was extremely unfriendly, which made it hard to enjoy the visit. I’ll probably check out a few other places before coming back here.

We had a great dinner here while in town. Nice big and open area. Big tables for groups. Live music. Good beer selections. We shared wings with the house sauce and a white pizza with chicken and tomatoes. Both were delicious!

Excellent service and great food that is consistently good. They also have a specials menu which today included cheese curds. They were phenomenal with excellent cheese pull. The onion rings also deserve a special shout out with a fresh, light crisp batter.

Went here twice. The woman waitress we had on Thursday night was on top of her game but the band was loud so you couldn’t really talk. It was more quiet on Friday, However, our waiter Wes forgot to put my order in so I didn’t get my pizza until after everyone I was with was completely done eating. And we still got charged for it. I didn’t even want it by then because I had no time to eat it. Bad service in my opinion.

Sorry the camera did not eat first!! That's because the food here is that good!! We stumbled across this gem while visiting a card and memorabilia store in the same little mini mall area. So good we came back a few days later to enjoy it again but for supper this time. The staff was great both times, with checking in on us plenty of times. Drinks were never below half when they would ask if we wanted more. The atmosphere was great even though my husband and I neither drink. It can get a little loud at times but not terrible. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger, Philly or pizza, all which we all had. Till next time, stay fanatic!!

Ngl, very mid. I’ve learned around here some places you just shouldn’t get food to go, you need to go inside and dine in to get the best service. I work in the service industry and know it can be challenging to get things perfect especially in very busy environments, however it is disheartening being on the other end paying nearly $70 and many things being dissatisfactory and taking it to go so no way to fix the issue because once you realize it, you’re already home. After a 35 minute wait the fries were stale, ended up not getting any jalapeño sauce put on my burger, if i wanted a plain burger I would’ve gone with the cheaper option 🥲 They forgot to give us our potato salad, the nachos were soggy already and we only live 10 minutes away. Definitely done getting to go orders from restaurants around here including this one. We have dined in here once and it was great, but sadly experiences like this make you hesitant to want to go back.

Since 1976, this restaurant has been creating unique and mouthwatering Italian dishes with a traditional twist. From garlic rolls to classic favorites like spaghetti and meatballs, guests can indulge in a variety of Italian delights.
We went with friends and had a great time. The portions were huge, which is not always a plus for me. But in any case The taste was great and that is what's important. Many people could share a plate but the more important thing is the atmosphere was good and the staff was very helpful and attentive. We had a great time and plan to be back

The service and staff at this restaurant were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and definitely the highlight of our visit. Even though the lines were long, they moved quickly, so props to the team for keeping things efficient. That said, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations. The pizza was okay in flavor, but I’m not a fan of toppings sliding off, which was a major drawback for me. From a size perspective, the large pizza should be enough for four people. We ordered for six and still had enough for everyone to enjoy a slice and some wings, so it’s a decent option for a quick bite. The wings had good seasoning but were on the dry side—not quite what I’d hope for in a dish like that. The calamari tasted fine but came in a surprisingly small portion for the price. While I wasn’t expecting a massive serving, it was barely enough for even two people to share. The Caesar salad was pretty standard—nothing memorable there. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on the food alone. However, the staff’s excellent service deserves recognition and made the experience better than it otherwise would have been. If you value friendly service above all, this might still be worth a visit.

Came in here to get out of the rain and to have some dinner. Service was pretty good. Order was taken without any issues. Food came out pretty fast. Burger was over cooked and needed seasoning. It was pretty dry. Fries were super greasy. Pasta also needed seasoning. Probably should have gotten a pizza as they seemed to look very good.
Adriel ( — Google review
The food was on the same level as Applebees to me. The sauce needed more flavor, the chicken didn’t have enough flavor, however the garlic knots were awesome!! I would get those again in a heart beat!! So flavorful! Service was fine, it was quick and convenient and that’s what I needed. Would I go back? Probably not but it was fine for that day.
Megan Y — Google review
We had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, Spaghetti with meatballs and Italian knots. One Caesar salad and one House salad. We were at the restaurant for early dinner. Maybe 10 people eating in house. It was clean overall. We paid $52 for a meal we could not eat. We tried but it was simply not good. The chicken was tough and the alfredo sauce had an odd taste. The meatballs tasted like liver. The texture was an odd texture…almost described like a sawdust. The garlic knots were good. Perhaps a different meal would be wonderful but today these two meals were not. I cannot recommend based on my experience.
Gayla L — Google review
This places touts themselves as the best burgers in town- next time I think Ill try the burgers. My husband and I stopped in for supper one lovely Fall evening. He got the manicotti and said it was delicious- I got the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and well, for me, it was missing some flavor just a wee bit. The chicken was good but the Alfredo sauce wasn't hitting the mark with me. I think next time I'll try out the burgers. Very cool atmosphere though.

Little different experience walk in order of menu then take your number grab a seat. No servers all self serve staff brings food to your table. Good food. Great pizza. Overall good just wasn't expecting it when walked in to Italian place.

Wonderful place to eat. We had lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. Both were delish. The garlic rolls were to die for and for the olive lovers out there, the salad had two kinds, green and black. Very fresh. If we were going to stay in Gatlinburg longer, we'd go back to try the calzone. There's a warning on the menu that you shouldn't try it if you don't like a lot of cheese. That's very attractive to the cheese lover in me.

Tom & Earl's Back Alley Grill is a laid-back and inviting spot located in the heart of Gatlinburg, TN. It's a popular choice for locals and visitors alike, offering a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious Southern-inspired bar and grill eats. The menu features tempting options like fried green tomatoes, jumbo wings, BBQ brisket sandwiches, and more. On Friday and Saturday nights, guests can enjoy live music while sipping on draft beer or specialty drinks.
Every time we go to Tom and Earls Back Alley Grill it is spot on delicious! The staff are excellent! Being extremely hot outside the building is very cool unlike other places. Nice big chairs to sit in with great views all around due to all the windows. Never have had any problems here and food has always been delicious. Our favorite is the Hillbilly Philly cheese steak sandwich and loaded potato salad. You actually get 2 sides with it, and we always get double potato salad. One of the best potato salads around if not the best!! I believe they do charge a credit card fee, but they tell you in advance giving you the option of using cash and saving. Prices are also great. We love going coming here for lunch. It's a must try if you have not had it. Parking is great. A paid parking lot right beside the place that is only $2 per hour to park.. We always park there and walk a few feet to eat.

Nice quaint location near the aquarium and a road off the main Gatlinburg drag way. Our party came in around 12:15 on a weekday and the restaurant was not busy at all. Most of our dishes were fine and neither bad nor great… your typical sandwiches, wraps, chicken tenders, etc. We waited (with a toddler) 15-20 minutes and the savings grace was some decent 70-80s music playing over the sound system. Our waitress checked back several times and was attentive to refills, etc. Overall, this was an easy lunch place but not one that I’d go out of the way to place on your itinerary.
Kevin F — Google review
First thing is first, the food was really nice. The service was pretty good and the lady and quite attentive. The issue i have is we were split up as a party. There is a weird rule of no bigger than 8. We had 2 teenagers, 8 adults and 2 babies. We were not allowed inside at al,l and were split into two tables. We are a family of 4 visiting from the UK and I wasn't able to interact with my wife. If it was super busy i'd understand. It wasn't. Nice server, good food..... Silly rules.
Andy T — Google review
We enjoyed the dog friendly patio as well as the service. The food, however, was underwhelming. It looked good, and was presented well for serving. We were asked how we wanted our burger cooked and ordered medium well. The burger instead was served very dry and super well done. The bun was also disappointing, as it wasn't toasted, felt cold to the touch, and was either way more dense than I'd prefer, or just plain stale. The green beans and baked beans tasted canned. It wasn't bad, but not at all what we expected after reading the reviews.
Stephanie J — Google review
We went late afternoon after the lunch rush and had great service and were the only people on the patio. Espresso martini was tasty, and I had one of the best French dip sandwiches I've ever had. Server was really friendly! There's a parking lot nearby that is apparently only $2 per hour rather than the public parking lot We paid $20 for about two blocks away.
Megan K — Google review
Ordered take out. Two bowls of chili and an order of fried mushrooms. Chili was delicious but don’t even think it was a cup. Mushrooms good but maybe 12 in order. Chili was $8 and some change per "bowl" and mushrooms were $14 and some change. pic of container that chili came in up side a container of pringles for comparison. Food good but do not feel we got $28 plus worth of food.
Sherre C — Google review
Food was great. Decent pricing. Service was fantastic. I had the Hatfield chicken sandwich, was cooked to perfection.
Jason P — Google review
I've ranked this 4 stars because the prices were kind of high . They have a very unique selection on the menu which I really appreciate it but considering that we were in a touristy area and prices were a bit high, this is to be expected. The staff was amazing, friendly and working really hard. The location was perfectly situated. There is parking across the street and depends on what time of day you get there the free parking is readily available during the evening when everyone is walking about it's harder to find parking but keep in mind this is downtown Gatlinburg. Also, the wheelchair ramp is accessible but it is so steep you'd have to be a bodybuilder to push a loved one up it, which kind of sucks. There may be an easier access attached to the shops further down, I'm not sure. Outdoor seating is available as well.

Smokies Cuban Cafe is a compact, contemporary restaurant on Pigeon Forge Parkway that offers classic Cuban specialties, coffee, and tropical fruit shakes. It's one of the few Cuban restaurants in Knox/Sevier territory and impresses visitors with its well-executed Cuban sandwich and unique Latino twist on barbecue with sauteed shredded beef.
Went for the weekend to Pigeon forge/Gatlinburg . This Cuban place never disappoints . Cuban sandwich was tasty . Had black beans and rice yuka fries and ham croquettes . Finished off with guava empanada and the flan was extra creamy

Excellent food... Can't wait to go back. We had the pork chunks with rice and beans and sweet plant... Pork chunks were fantastic. Well seasoned with a slightly crispy outside and tender inside. The beans were well seasoned. The homemade hot sauce was also fantastic. We had a beef and cheese empanadas that was also really good.. the guava and cheese pastry was yummy... it's not too sweet and really creamy. The service was also excellent. She was very sweet and helpful with the menu. .

This place was so great! Kind staff, quick service, fresh food! They also have a good price point for the portions! I got the fried pork chunks and they were tender, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Highly recommend the garlic cilantro sauce for the yuca fries and the "hot sauce" for rice. It's homemade, and bottled and sold at the restaurant. It's less spicy, more tangy with lime, cilantro, and peppers in vinegar. My husband got the Cuban and said it was the best he ever had. Please try the guava and cheese empanada for dessert, its amazing! You should also try the Materva soda if you like both cream soda and sweet tea. Sounds weird right? Just trust me and try it!

Que sorpresa! Encotramos esta joya de restaurante Cubano en el corazón de Pigeon Forge, Tennessee! What a surprise to find authentic Cuban (Miami style) food in East Tennessee! My husband grew up in Miami, and is always looking for Cuban food wherever we travel. He has been disappointed SO many times. This time he was elated! We split a Cuban sandwich, yucca fries, and black beans and rice, and had enough for 2 more meals! The yucca fries were super crispy outside and meltingly tender and creamy inside. The Cuban sandwich was not quite as perfect as his Miami standard, but still the best he has had outside Miami! The black beans and rice were perfectly seasoned and served the way they are “supposed” to be served-separately. He asked me to taste his café con leche so that I would understand how it should taste! I’m not really a coffee drinker, but I could be converted with sweet and frothy café con leche. I would highly recommend!

We enjoyed the food and service so much that we went back the next day. Definitely will go back. If you like a Cuban Sandwich, try the Croquette Sandwich! It was a step up from their delicious Cuban. If you hungry, treat yourself to the Milanese Steak! And don't forget the Coffee Shot!
Tina W — Google review
Aww man. When we first walked in, the place looks brand new and I thought to myself, another disappointing Cuban sandwich? The picture on the menu looks promising...but not getting my hopes up. I have been disappointed too many times. Anyone can grab a photo of a true Cuban from the internet. But what's this? ROPA VIEJA? That's authentic Cuban Cuisine. So we order the Ropa Vieja and, of course, the Cuban sandwich. The Ropa Vieja comes out first with rice and frijoles negras, and fried plantains. Since I was waiting on my sandwich, I took a bite of the beef and about melted. I am used to it being chewy, the beef covered in the tomato- based sauce but not infused. My first bite of THIS Ropa Vieja really surprised me. The beef is infused with the sauce so that, chew after chew, the beef is tender, flavorful, and full of sauce. My opinion is changing... Next up to the plate is The Cuban. It is oblong, flat, and toasted on Cuban Bread!!! Looks good from a distance, lets check it out up close. You see, as all my Cuban Sandwich lovers already know, it's not only the bread, the ingredients...but it is also the BUILD. The roast pork, the sliced ham, the Swiss cheese, the sliced dill pickle spears, and the mustard, neatly stacked so that each bite has all the right flavors. This is a legit Cuban restaurant! Yet the decor looks brand new! When our waitress comes over, I ask how long they have been open (thinking maybe 6 months) FOURTEEN YEARS! Every Cuban Sandwich searcher knows the struggle is real, so when you find the legit thing, chills accompany every bite. Cuban sandwich and Ropa Vieja notwithstanding, the meal was finished with a Cordaito and Tres Leches. This place is authentic and a rare gem in a land of pancake restaurants and mountain coasters (oh, and the MAJESTIC vistas, the INCREDIBLE arts and crafts community, and ALL the great, friendly people!) We will be back again before heading home.

I've lived in Florida for many years and visited some of the best Cuban restaurants and mom-and-pop shops on the strip. The customer service is always top-notch. Buena atencion Sadly, my recent experience was not the same. I visited this place and had a Cuban sandwich that tasted pretty good, but the portions were small and the prices were very high - almost $18 for a sandwich. I expected a lot more. Our waitress was super pleasant, but the older lady behind the counter, who I assume was the owner, was a different story. She was rude when asking me what I wanted, and after paying, I didn't receive a thank you or any kind of welcoming gesture. Her expressions were off-putting, to say the least. The experience was terrible, and to the point that I won't be bringing my family or friends back there again." Que trizte 🙁

The cashier wasn’t in the mood when she took my order. She wasn’t friendly and looked exhausted. It wasn’t that hard to take an order, but if you’re not enjoying your job, get another one. On the other side, there was a skinny white guy in all black clothes. He was filling a ketchup dispenser, and I asked if the other dispenser was ready. His response was, “Patience is a key.” I thought, “Who asked about patience?” Then he started talking in Spanish, and I told him I didn’t speak Spanish. Why were you talking to me in Spanish? He said, “I DO speak Spanish,” and he walked away. I talked to another associate and told her that guy needs to learn how to talk to customers. I asked her who the manager was, and she said it was the same guy. I was like, “Wow, he’s a shady manager.” My comment to upper management: Great job, whoever made that little kid a manager with that attitude! 👏👏

Visiting this location for a quick evening bite on the evening we drove into town from MKE. By far some of the sweetest, down to earth people ever! Very laid back yet friendly, greeting those who come in and giving friendly goodbyes. Such a different atmosphere for a fast food joint than im used to lol. Might be making this a quick stop every time I come back to Gatlinburg!

The food was delicious, but they are robbing people here. I’ve been to quite a few five guys in my time, this one included, and have always been happy with the cost of my food compared to the amount of food received. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger, a little fry, and a drink and my total was $22. I thought with my little fry I would’ve had enough for 2 people, just like in years past, however it wasn’t even enough for me. CRIMINAL. They are robbing people of a typical five guys experience here and making a bad name for the company. I wouldn’t even say this experience was good.

We ate here last night after finding a 2 hour wait to every restaurant on the strip. Was quick and was good, my only issue was they forgot mustard and ketchup on the hamburger.

We had the cheese burgers (one regular-size, the other small). Both were delicious and of ample size. The regular fries came in a generous portion that was 3 times the size of the paper cup some of them came in. I'd consider the $40 we paid overpriced, but it's Gatlinburg. There are no "public restrooms," but when you buy something, you get a lock code for the restroom.

How convenient of Five Guys right next to Baskin Robbins. The burgers are absolutely bussin, despite the overpriced items they have, it's worth it. I will say if you do end up getting the french fries, get the smallest size, they will put extra in your bag guaranteed all the time. I have to end up putting around 200 words on this review just so I can get the extra points for detailed review, but hey just go try it out. Plus it's near a famous area too 🤓

It was not crowded when I visited, we ordered 2 double burgers with cheese and bacon and regular size fry, my total was almost $40 with tip. The service was good and the food was prepared quickly. The burger was good, but half way through one of the burgers the middle was still pink. We were disappointed with that, it was not worth the amount spent.

Puckers Sports Grill is a no-frills sports bar located in downtown Gatlinburg, TN. It has been named the city's top sports bar for nine consecutive years and is a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
No words to describe our waitress, the food and the vibe. Loaded buffalo fries are a must get! We ordered seconds. Wings are awesome. Of course, all flats for us. Awesome customer service. Finger licking food. 😋

Was out for Halloween… stopped in to the new and improved Puckers!!! Sat at the bar and we were greeted promptly, had a couple drinks and the Loaded Nachos!!! Great food great service (Thanks Furkan)!! Definitely a cool place to watch a game or just people watching In Gatlinburg!!!

We went to Puckers in Gatlinburg for lunch today. It was absolutely delicious! We got BBQ chicken pizza. It was awesome! Sweet, salty, cheesy, spicy....everything was great. Good wings too! Music was great. We will definitely be back. Our waitress was Kristy and a man in training. We did not catch his name.

Thales was a great server. He was very friendly and welcoming right from the start. The food was great and we will definitely be back. Great atmosphere.

PUCKERS – New vs. Old The old PUCKERS had something truly special. It was cozy, welcoming, and always felt like you were among friends. The atmosphere was spot on, the food was consistent, and it carried the charm that made it the place to be in Gatlinburg. Unfortunately, the new establishment has missed the mark by great lengths. The space feels bigger but less personal, and that old-school warmth and energy are gone. Even the food has taken a step back—what was supposed to be the ultimate nachos plate turned out to be more like an ultimate salad, heavy on lettuce but lacking the bold, layered flavors that made the dish a favorite. PUCKERS still has the name, and the potential, but unless it finds its stride again, it risks becoming just another restaurant in Gatlinburg instead of the destination it once was. Here’s hoping they can bring back the magic of the original.
Chris D — Google review
I ordered sweet potato fries with my meal and they were seasoned with salt; which i did not expect. I asked for sugar packets to help sweeten them up. Thales asked the kitchen to remake them with sugar. He even went to the basement to get the sugar; which I did not expect either. He went above and beyond to make my visit special. They were delicious! Thanks Thales!

We only went for a few drinks. It’s right on the strip, so it was a good place for people watching. Drinks were good and beer was cold. We got our drinks from the bar and service was mediocre. The prices are a bit high and the state and local tax combined are 14%. It’s a bit touristy.

We had such a great experience at Puckers! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everything came out quick and fresh. But the best part of our visit was our waitress, Kaitlyn. She was so friendly, attentive, and on top of everything we needed. She made the whole meal feel easy and enjoyable.

Red Oak Bistro is a unique and cozy restaurant located in Gatlinburg, offering European-style small plates and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant features a warm interior with multiple fireplaces and a patio for outdoor dining. Their menu consists of Mediterranean-inspired tapas plates made from locally grown ingredients, providing a taste of Europe within the southern mountains. With a chef from Bulgaria, the dishes are known for their artful plating and fusion of Eastern European, Mediterranean, and Southern cuisines.
We enjoyed delicious meals - each order tastier than the last - in their cozy and warm dining area while Bossa Nova played gently in the background. Michael was wonderful and made our experience even more delightful! It was a bit off the beaten path for us, but was SO worth it. (Bulgarian style sausage pictured below, I'm still having about it)

My husband and I wanted a quiet place to dine and unwind. Found this gem nestled up in the hillside off the beaten path. We made a last minute reservation for two for 9pm. As we pulled in, I already loved the vibe. String lights guided us up the driveway and at the top was a perfectly charming building that already whispered welcome. When we arrived inside, we were greeted & our table was already set and ready for us. Soft music playing in the background setting the tone that it was a place to relax and savor. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. We took a couple of recommendations that our server (& I think is the owner) mentioned. Loved every bite and didn’t leave a crumb. The ambience and decor were delightful & set the perfect tone. If you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist strip, drive up the mountainside and enjoy this quaint, warm, delicious dining experience. We will visit again on another trip.

Me and my boyfriend went here to cap off our trip in Gatlinburg and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The ambiance was intimate and perfect for a date night. The service was amazing and they made you feel like family from the moment you stepped in the door. The food was out of this world, made with love, and could tell everything was from scratch. We ordered the kebabche and lamb meatballs. We will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

Red Oak Bistro offers a wide variety of carefully prepared ingredients served as a small plate style meal. The meal was OUTSTANDING as you could actually taste every single ingredient used in each plate. Each bite was extremely fresh, flavorful and DELICIOUS. There were also various menu options and the owners timed each plate Perfectly which allowed you time to relax and enjoy conversation while also enjoying the meal and/or drinks without feeling rushed. We could tell that the owners really enjoyed and cared not only for their customers but for each plate they served. We hope to return again soon and look forward to trying more scrumptious food selections. Oh by the way, the chocolate truffle mousse and the Bakalava was FANTASTIC! The salmon roe cavier, smoked oyster flatbread and the Kebabche were some of our favorite “must tries”. I Also love how the owners only serve a small number of people at a time (preferable by reservation) which makes for a more intimate setting.
Stephanie F — Google review
TL/DR: we were unceremoniously told to leave because of our service dog. The atmosphere is pretty and soothing, but it all fell off from there. High price point for the food you receive. Questions about the menu are brushed off — when we asked about the types of cheese on their cheese plate it was answered with “mostly cow.” No info on the types of cold cuts and a pickle that could have come from a jar. The chef seemed nice but the waiter was brusque. Worst of all, we traveled all through Gatlinburg with our service dog with no issues at all and were welcomed everywhere. Here, we entered the restaurant with her and sat for an hour eating and drinking their overpriced generic offerings with no one even noticing her under the table, because that what she’s been trained to do. The waiter approached us after my partner returned from the restroom and rudely chastised us. Even with an explanation that she was a service dog (truly) he grabbed the tablet and shoved it our way. No offering of dessert, not letting us finish our $15 old fashioned. Just… kicked out. Still mulling over reporting them to the ADA. Do better!! People with disabilities deserve to be treated with respect. We took the high road that you didn’t take with us, and that you definitely did not deserve. Try The Heirloom Room for impeccable service, a river view, and pedigreed ingredients.
Holly K — Google review
This is a mediocre establishment with some great options that are never offered. When you see a price point, you expect an experience, and Red oak Delivered on very little. You can see a great selection of liquors on the wall, but what goes into your Old Fashioned? We will never know. The beers were actually imported and labeled, but had been sitting for so long that the only flavor discernible was metal. The charcuterie board was good, but again there was no pedigree to the ingredients. The meats could've been picked up from Publix the day before and tasted just as similar. The Kabapche was the star of the show, but sparsely served. Cabbage slaw was passable, but the potato salad was made with frozen peas and carrots. All in all an overpriced excuse to serve three small sausages. The last straw was being kicked out for having a service dog. This is not a fake service dog, but one that has been trained and working for 7 years. She was placed against the wall and under our table for an hour while we dined, but when I went to and returned from the restroom the server informed us that dogs were not allowed and we need to leave. I explained she was a service dog and was handed a bill. We were ready to order more dishes and a desert. Warning to all actual working pairs, avoid this place. Its not worth it, and theres a much better restaurant down the road.
Seth F — Google review
Red Oak Bistro checked all the boxes for us. One thing you should know when you visit: this is an experience. You come in as a patron but you leave feeling like you've just had dinner with family. The owners are your bartenders, your chefs, your hosts, and your servers. - You order things for the table, not for yourself. Share the plates, share some beverages, speak to your hosts and allow them to guide you through your meal. They have a small, rotating menu so you may have a different experience if you space out your visits. - Keep in mind this is a small restaurant, make reservations! We had a bottle of wine, two cocktails, 6 plates of delicious food and dessert and made two new friends.
Tucker J — Google review
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! They serve food here in the mezze fashion, small portions of highly delicious food; there is no other restaurant like this in all of Gatlinburg! The restaurant has an immense wine list that will take you years to try all! Don't forget the beer, either, as they are all imports from Europe; sorry folks, no domestic beer here! P. S. Olga and Mike, thank you! It was great to see you both again and hope to see you again soon!

Perched at the top of Anakeesta, the Cliff Top Restaurant offers an easygoing outdoor dining experience with a stunning view of the Smoky Mountains. Accessible by chairlift or truck ride, this eatery and bar serves up hearty burgers, salads, and entrees alongside a selection of beer and cocktails. The large glass windows and terrace seating provide an incredible vantage point to enjoy your meal after a day of adventure activities like zip lining.
Nothing is better than having a delicious meal on the outside patio over looking the mountains. It came complete with a breath taking view. Along with gorgeous weather. My server was wonderful and the detail he went into made everything so special. We had 9 people in our party. I got the Gregory Bald burger and it was the most amazing burger I ever had. The meat was super fresh along with the toppings. The fries were cooked to perfection. This is a must do when on top of the mountain. Worth every penny.

Love the views here! Food was great! Service was great! Our waiter checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. Their cornbread was really good. We had a short wait to get a table but it wasn't bad. I would recommend this place.
Maija P — Google review
The food looks better than it was. For the prices we paid . . . we shouldn't have had issues. The bartender made a specialty cocktail with missing elements in it so it didn't taste as it should. The app was good. Looked good and was good. But the meal was lacking. The french onion soup was very watered down and flavorless and lastly the salad wedge that was ordered had about a 1/4 of a red onion on it. Maybe it was just a bad day but it seems that there is little to no quality control. Now with that said, our waitress was very nice and did a nice job. Also the place is nice. It just seems since they have a "captive audience" ...... you are on the top of a mountain, with limited options, the lack of care isn't there. Hope your dinner is better. See photos.

Beautiful place to eat when visiting anakeesta food was delicious, service was nice and the view was breathtaking. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely walk around the park and to put the cherry on top enjoyed a wonderful meal here. I recommend buying entry tickets for the park in advance to skip the line for the gondola. As well as at the beginning of your visit getting the refill drink cup you will need it with all the walking. Also watch out for the bees.

More of a German taste if you’re up for that. FOOD: first of all, you’re at Anakeesta. Everything is expensive. I had chicken and my wife had pork chops. There was nothing great about either. I’m not sure the Germans season their food, but I’d expect not. Kind of bland. SERVICE: it’s not the friendliest place but ok. Our waiter wasn’t great and I feel that paying these prices, there should be better service from the hostess and the waiter. ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere is all about where this is. Literally next to a cliff. The views are gorgeous! The only photo we had here has a glare from the sun. We dined here for lunch.

We decided to eat here before our Astra lumina time. We were very surprised by how good the food was. Our server was great, we got there at about 7:20pm, not knowing that they close at 8pm. Our food was out to us by 7:35pm. Our appetizer was fantastic for the German festival that was going on, in my turkey club was delicious. Be warned, the spicy chicken sandwich is insanely spicy. But, it is delicious!! The prices were actually not that bad for being in Gatlinburg, in the middle of a tourist trap.
Gianna G — Google review
The views were great, and my burger (The Flame Thrower) had great flavor even though it wasn't cooked to my preference (medium) - I'd order it again. My husband did not like his burger and said he's had better from fast food.
Jessica W — Google review
The Cliff Top restaurant is part of the Anakeesta park. You have to pay for general admission then you can go to the restaurant. The whole park is excellently kept and is very nice. The Cliff Top itself is good, food is good, atmosphere is decent and service is fine. In my experience when a restaurant has a captive customer (like on a cruise ship or at a resort) the restaurant often is subpar due to the lack of competition. This one is very good in spite of that, however it could also be better. It wasn't cheap either, for the two of us it was $110 without any alcoholic drinks which is more than the Google reviews showed. All in all it was good and the view was spectacular but I wish the restaurant was as great as the view.

This hole in the wall hot dog shop is quaint, warm, and inviting. While small, there's two tables available for eating your meal, giving the restaurant a cozy comfy feel. We went in on a cold Fall night, and the windows were all steamed up from the kitchen, giving everything a fun little atmosphere and ambiance. For under $10 you can get two sodas, two hot dogs, and a bag of chips! Talk about a great cheap meal. If you're looking for a no frills spot where everyone is friendly and kind, don't miss this place.

Where have all the vegetarian hot dogs gone?!? Where are the tacos?! I look forward to coming every year and now I’m crushed. The vegetarian options are minimal. I’m so disappointed. I’m sorry, but I had to update my review based on this and take away some stars due to my broken heart. Great experience! Staff (pretty sure he was the owner) are super friendly and accommodating. We asked for vegetarian tacos and they put whatever we wanted on them. They even have vegetarian hot dogs, which is very unusual, and they will put whatever you want on them as well. The homemade chips are great (I love that they're flour tortillas) as is the queso. The prices are unbelievably great! Pretty sure I'm going back again tomorrow.

Nestled by the creek, The Heirloom Room: Creekside Restaurant & Bar offers an upscale Appalachian menu with a focus on meat and seafood. With a history spanning over a century, this elegant riverside restaurant is popular among both travelers and locals. Guests can enjoy scenic views of the water while savoring handcrafted cocktails.
Everything about our experience was exquisite. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable for the taste and portion size. My favorites were the homestead cocktail (delicious) and the venison. We also ordered the shrimp and grits and pork loin, which were also both fantastic but the star of the show was 100% the venison. The atmosphere was perfect as well, and the service was great. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

My wife and I stopped in on a weekday evening. From the Scotch Quail Eggs, Wild Mushroom Bisque, and both our entrees we were heaven. Everything was perfect, service was fantastic, and atmosphere creek side was such an experience. We travel for work a lot, and this may have been one of the best dinners I’ve eaten in a long time.

Came here as our ‘fancy date night’ on our honeymoon. The wild boar croquettes were absolutely amazing! We also had the lamb and the venison and would highly recommend them. My husband enjoyed the whiskey flight and I had a glass of wine recommended by our server, Jack. Overall the atmosphere was very nice and the staff was phenomenal. Would definitely come here again.

Dining at The Heirloom Room is a very different experience in the best way. It feels more like you're visiting your rich, slightly eccentric Uncle who invites you to sample his bourbon collection while you smoke cigars on the front porch. As soon as you walk in, it is cozy and welcoming. My husband and I got the wild board croquettes (there were 5, but we were so hungry we ate 2 before taking the pic lol), and we both got the venison and potatoes as our entrée. Finished the meal with a berry panna cotta that was as refreshing as it was beautiful. We will be coming back again!
Erin R — Google review
Service was great, very attentive when needed and gave space while eating, polite. The restaurant itself is small and facing a running creek, so there's always a view and I doubt it ever gets very loud in there. Despite those two pluses, the actual draw is the food. We came for breakfast a few days before an anniversary dinner and it was wonderful, good price for the quality and didn't need a reservation. The dinner however was phenomenal; they offered a rabbit pot pie as a special side the evening we were there and it was heavenly, the venison was great and the lamb was wonderful. Everything was cooked and paired exceptionally well, and it's portioned so that you get plenty but don't leave feeling uncomfortably full. We were more than pleased with all aspects of this place and we're both shocked and glad this place doesn't seem constantly booked, because if we ate here sooner in our trip we're sure we would've been back. It's a must eat if you want anything other than pancakes and party food

This restaurant is exquisitely decorated. I loved the chairs and the set up all in all. We had the Burrata appetizer and it was delish....i had the Tomohawk with the Mac and cheese and the brocoli and I have to say thay it was cooked to perfection my favorite way Medium.....perfectly pink in the middle. The salmon was very well cooked as well. The pecan tart was out of this world decadent....our server (sorry I didnt get your name) was excellent and attentive with the perfect sense of humor. Only but its NO PARKING !!!!

BEST MEAL EVER 😍 Went here w my bf, the ambiance was incredible, we sat right by the window and had a beautiful creek view. Drinks were all top tier (we loved the old fashions and macchiato martini). I got the venison and it was absolute perfection. The cherry on top was our server, Araya. She made the experience calm and relaxing, made wonderful recommendations and provided warm, kind, customer service. We were pleased with the luxurious experience and are excited to come back during our next visit!

Excellent creekside fine dining! The food here was delicious, both my girlfriend and I highly enjoyed our food. Portions are well-sized and delicious. The cocktails were excellent and the whiskey selection was great. Service was top-tier, Lya was excellent and made our dinner lovely! There is also the option to open the windows and listen to the creek. They have a bear that visits every day that you might see if you're lucky! All-in-all, 5/5, will be visiting again next time we are in Gatlinburg.

We love coming here over the years! The food is amazing! My favorite are the ribs !! Everything is so good ! Most of all we enjoy the family atmosphere, the owner is very respectful and treat all as a family ! See you soon !
Liam L — Google review
I'll start off by saying the food was ok the bit that I got that wasn't burnt to where you could not bite it in half. I ordered the pork special that was $24.99. I believe that after tax with a small drink was $30 and some change. It came with 3 ribs, a hand full of pulled pork and sausage link cut up 2 rolls and 2 sides. So Ribs, where ok? One was so hard that you could not bite into it. The other 2 ribs were spot on and enjoyable. Mac & Cheese was good. Green Beans they really didn't have much taste to them they did have a small amount of pulled pork in them I loaded them down with some salt and pepper still didn't really help them out, just no season. Pulled pork was decent, adding the bbq sauce to it. The meat was smoked well. I couldn't really taste any of the season they used on outside if they even used any on the outside while they smoked it. And now, for the sausage, a couple of the pieces were good, but the majority of it was burnt to a crisp. There is just no way I could have put that in one of my customers' boxes and sent that out. Hopefully, I'll stop back by there and give them another chance, and it won't go as it did today. Now they do have another location down the road not too far before you enter into Gatlinburg off 321 that location I have eaten at a few times, and it's pretty good also. Anyways, if you're looking for some bbq and you're next to one of these locations, give them a try it want hurt to try them at least one time.

I got the 6 piece wing meal and it came with celery and carrots! Tossed in mild sauce was delicious and the meat fell right off the bone. All of this for $8. Isn’t that a great deal? I was amazed and enjoyed every bite. I think they make their own sauces because I don’t feel gross after eating mild sauce (in which I normally do). These wings were life changing and I will be thinking about them for the rest of my life probably.

Solid off-road pit stop restaurant, but very takeouty feel. Better than fast food for sure when hungry, but no beer, and i love me a brew with my ribs. Best Cade’s Cove sausage i ever had though. Lil too sweet and $115 to feed 5 felt steep, especially for the tiny sides.

Ordered the Hungry Bear Ribs' dinner and the meat on the ribs fell right off and the flavor was truly delicious. We also ordered the Beef Brisket dinner and the meat was really tender and flavorful. My opinion, it was a little bit pricey but worth every penny.

The food here is fantastic. The main course options paired with a variety of sides leave you open to quite a bit of variety. The staff was incredibly friendly and had our meal at our table not 5 minutes after ordering. The prices are a hair on the steeper end but well worth it.
Gundalf G — Google review
If your anywhere near the area, check this place out. Its so so good. Num num. Even the mild sauce had a perfect amount of heat. The portions were plenty large.
Sarah G — Google review
The BBQ was fantastic! When we left, the chef was outside loading up the grill for tomorrow. I stopped to think of all the lucky people who will get to eat there tomorrow 😁There were tasty sauce options and delicious sides. Prices were fair for the quality. Best of all the people that work there are super friendly and kind; we felt very welcome even though we were a rag-tag group of sweaty, muddy hiker ladies. Thank you! We'll be back ❤️
