Saint Augustine Beach in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Saint Augustine Beach, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
St. Augustine Beach is a quaint, ocean-side city that is known for its unique shops and restaurants. It's a great place to spend the day picnicking on the beach, shopping at one of the many unique stores or lounging at one of the many restaurants. One of the best features of St. Augustine Beach is that it is on a barrier island, so there is a constant breeze and the water remains cooler than other beach destinations. If you want to get out of the sun for a bit, stroll through one of the many beautiful parks or go window shopping. You will find everything from surf shops to candle shops, restaurants to art galleries and much more.
With favorites like The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, and The Spanish Bakery & Cafe, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Burrito Works Taco Shop and Collage so you can get the best taste of Saint Augustine Beach while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Historical landmark
The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument is a historic fort that offers self-guided tours, allowing visitors to explore from the drawbridge to the gun deck while enjoying views of Matanzas Bay. Situated in St. Augustine, it was built from 1672-1695 and served as a Spanish Empire post. Made from coquina, a locally sourced stone-like compound, the fort was never taken in battle.
This historic fort and museum is a must-visit! The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing the area's rich history. We enjoyed exploring the exterior, where we spotted sea turtles, dolphins, and even a manatee at 6 p.m. The views of the sea are stunning, and the architecture is impressive. While we didn't take the tour, the self-guided walk around the grounds was enjoyable and informative. Parking is convenient, although it's best to arrive early to secure a spot and take great photos. Don't forget sunscreen, as the sun can be strong. The fort offers a fascinating glimpse into Spanish history and its significance in the United States. Overall, it's a humbling experience that's perfect for history buffs and families alike.

Very cool fort with great views. It was an extremely hot day so I highly recommend bringing a bottle of water with you and maybe even a small towel. 🥵There were 2 main levels and you could self guide yourself through it although they had a guided tour option. There was zero shade when you’re up on the top but you were able to see where they had the old firing cannons which was super cool. As you walk through each room they had plenty of artifacts and information which was helpful to understand. I felt that it was very well maintained and full of rich history! They do offer bathrooms inside as well.

In the heart of St. Augustine, Florida, a city steeped in history, the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument rises as a beacon of the past. Completed in 1695 after 23 years of painstaking labor that began in 1672, this breathtaking structure stands as a testament to Spanish ingenuity and determination. Originally conceived as a fortress to safeguard their treasures and secrets, its immaculate architecture commands attention, overlooking one of St. Augustine's most picturesque vistas. Though tours offer an immersive experience within its walls, even a glimpse from the exterior reveals the monument's unparalleled grandeur. Constructed from unique Coquina stone, the walls exhibit a mesmerizing mosaic of tiny shells, a strategic choice that proved impervious to English sieges. Today, the Castillo stands resolute, each piece of Coquina holding echoes of the past, while the land upon which it rests cradles everlasting memories along the bay. As visitors approach, they are transported back in time, captivated by the stories etched into every stone. The Castillo de San Marcos not only stands as a physical structure but also as a living narrative, preserving the legacy of those who built and defended it. Its enduring presence ensures that the tales of courage, strategy, and cultural heritage will continue to captivate and inspire generations to come.

This was an amazing experience, I enjoyed visiting the Castillo de San Marcos. The history here is incredible — it really feels like stepping back in time. The fort itself is beautiful, and the views of the water are awesome. The cannons were definitely my favorite part. It’s just one of those places that makes you appreciate how much history St. Augustine has to offer. Highly recommend it, go during the day and at night.
Sergio C — Google review
Very cool historic castle to tour! The top offers a great view of the water and surrounding area, plus old cannons you can check out. On the ground level there are multiple rooms to explore, each with interesting displays and information about the history of the fort. You can also see step-by-step demonstrations of how soldiers would load and fire the cannons as well as their muskets, which is really fascinating. The staff dressed in Spanish army costumes brought the place to life and made the whole experience feel even more authentic. Definitely worth visiting if you’re interested in history or just want to see something unique.
Carson S — Google review
The people who work there are kind and thoughtful. The restrooms are clean, and stalls are plentiful. It's a good place to relax, learn about the area and city, take a few pictures, and even shop for bargains. Because of the government shutdown, not everything is availablem
Barbara B — Google review
The Castillo de San Marcos is always well worth the visit. The structure alone clearly articulates its history and its various functions from the 17th through the 20th centuries The grounds are well-maintained by the NPS and are excellent for walking. This fort is one of the many treasures that makes Saint Augustine the beautiful city that it is. To see the ancient walls lit up at night is breathtaking.

Very cool to see and great read about the history of the fortress that was built by the Spanish over 450 years ago. It was built to defend Florida and the Atlantic trade route. My family and I were on a family vacation and visited the historic fortress on a Tuesday morning, so it wasn’t crowed. Parking spots were available because we got there before it opened (9:00am eastern time). There’s a parking meter in the parking lot. There were 22 of us going to see the fort and only paid $50 for everyone! My mother/father in law got in for free because they’re seniors. I think each senior can have up to four grandchildren that can center for free; there were a total of 12 grandchildren. My mother in law also has an annual park pass so that gave her additional discounts! If you have it, ask them about any discount. If you’re in the area, stop by and see the history and the view. It would have been more enjoyable for me if the weather was a little cooler 😅. They have cannons and many rooms you can enter. Each door you enter, there’s a history you can read about it. There’s also a theater room you can enter and watch a documentary about how the fortress came about. Of course, before you leave the fortress- stop by the gift shop!

Cuban restaurant
Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine offers a taste of traditional Spanish and Cuban cuisine within a charming two-story Spanish-style atrium. The restaurant is part of a long-standing local chain with roots dating back to 1905. Guests can savor Cuban sandwiches, the family's century-old paella recipe, fresh Gulf of Mexico catch, and the signature 1905 salad prepared tableside.
The Columbia Restaurant is a must-stop whenever I’m in Florida. As usual, I kicked off the meal with their signature 1905 Salad, prepared tableside—fresh, flavorful, and always a highlight. I also tried the Empanadas de Picadillo for the first time, and they were excellent—crisp, savory, and perfectly seasoned. To drink, I had a freshly made mojito (pro tip: if you're ordering several, go for the pitcher—it’s made tableside). I ordered four for the table, but unfortunately, they arrived pre-mixed. Still refreshing, just not quite the same experience. For the main course, I shared the Paella a la Valenciana. It was a generous portion and quite tasty overall, but the chicken, mussels, and clams were slightly overcooked and a bit tough. That said, the flavor was there. Our dining companions had the stuffed shrimp and a mahi-mahi dish—both were very pleased with their meals. To top things off, we were served a complimentary flan for dessert—my first time trying it, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Despite the few minor critiques, The Columbia remains one of my favorite places to visit. The atmosphere, history, and overall dining experience are consistently memorable.

Excellent food. It's hard to beat Columbia for good food. Great atmosphere. Plenty of selections on the menu to choose. The seafood paella made it to my plate. And the crab cakes are a must have if you are a fan of crab cakes. Everything was made to perfection. Our server was super friendly and helpful. She knew her way around the menu and had some great suggestions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First visit to The Columbia in St. Augustine, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere alone makes it worth the stop — historic building, beautiful tile work, and that old-Florida feel you just don’t get anywhere else. The place was busy, but everything ran smoothly. I had the 1905 Salad, made tableside — super fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. The ropa vieja and flank steak was perfectly pressed, with just the right mix of crunch and melt. Everything tasted authentic and made with care, not rushed. Shoutout to Jason, who made the whole experience even better. His professionalism, patience, and attention to detail stood out. He checked in at the right times, knew the menu inside out, and genuinely made us feel welcome — that kind of service makes all the difference. Overall, The Columbia is one of those places that reminds you why St. Augustine’s food scene is so special — great food, great people, and real pride in what they do. Highly recommend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consistently Amazing Dining Experience 🍽️ No matter which Columbia Restaurant location I visit—Ybor City, St. Armands Circle, or St. Augustine—the experience is always exceptional 🌟. The atmosphere, service, and food are top-notch 👌. Must-try items include the refreshing sangria 🍷, warm Cuban bread 🥖, and the iconic 1905 Salad 🥗. For entrees, you can’t go wrong, but my personal favorite is the Cannelloni de Langosta 🦞—absolutely delicious! This is a must-enjoy dining experience wherever you find one. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates flavorful Cuban-Spanish cuisine 🇨🇺🇪🇸 and great hospitality 💛.

We stopped into The Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine for lunch after a hot morning of sightseeing, and it turned out to be the perfect place to take refuge from the heat. We sat upstairs on the second floor, which was fairly busy and a bit lively — not quiet, but not uncomfortably loud either. It actually added to the atmosphere and energy of the place. Our server was excellent — very polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. We kept things light and ordered sandwiches and plantains, and both were very pleasant. The sandwiches were flavorful and fresh, and the plantains were perfectly sweet and well-prepared. There’s no dedicated parking, so you’ll need to walk from wherever you can find a spot nearby, but it’s worth it. Between the beautiful historic setting, great service, and flavorful food, The Columbia is definitely a place I’d love to return to — next time for dinner.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved my visit here! The shop had beautiful dish ware and pottery! The chicken sandwich was fantastic tender, juicy, and had flavor. All the sandwiches we tried were great, and the salad was huge. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The dining room is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the whole meal even better. This place combines great food, excellent cleanliness, and a lovely setting, a must-visit if you’re in Florida! Very happy with the filling food for lunch!

This place is great, has a unique traditional feel to it! Food is super tasty, lots of good options. Take your time here, allow 2 hours to enjoy, not a place to rush. Recommend. Kudos to our waiter Miguel from 🇪🇸 Side note: this is St.Augustine, parking might be a bit challenging but it’s very walkable so not really a biggie

Awesome lunch along with excellent service by Maraiya B. Great food nice atmosphere, fountains on patio around the seating area. Plenty of seating with choice of indoor, patio or outdoor seating. They first brought the freshly baked bread to the table then lunch We had the 1/2 1905 salad with 1/2 a Cuban and it was a large portion. Along with a piece of the famous key lime pie ( to die for) to go. Plenty of parking and it is free with validation. Placed right off of St George street and it was busy. Kids menu and some vegetarian choices. Gift shop in rear

Specialty Museums
Ripley's Believe It or Not! is a museum located on San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, offering an array of strange and fascinating exhibits. Housed in an 1880s mansion, the museum features oddities such as shrunken human heads and rare animal skeletons. Visitors can interact with the world's tallest man, explore visual illusions, take a ride on Ripley's Red Train, play mini-golf, and investigate the Haunted Castle.
If you are pinched for time and only have a day to see St. Augustine, I highly recommend the Ripley’s museum and tour! We love Cheyenne as our tour guide! She was funny and very informative! Great personality too!!! We got a chance to see and hear the history of st. Augustine let loose and laugh inside the museum and grab a quick bite to eat downtown before heading back home.

A Fun Museum of Weird Things! I always enjoy visiting the St Augustine Ripley’s location. The staff is always very nice and helpful and the museum is so fun and clean! Every time i go i swear there’s something new i haven’t seen. They have multiple levels of interesting facts, finds, and activities for all ages. They have an elevator as well, which is very accessible. My FAV part of the museum is the display of unordinary swamp creatures; and as you’re looking at them, the bridge you’re standing on suddenly descends and makes a loud noise. It scared the shit out of us but It was so funny and unexpected! 😭 Just one of the museum’s many gems. You can take plenty of pictures, but i recommend going early. Going after 2PM on a Saturday may make your walkthrough feel cramped. Takes about an hour to get through all of It. I recommend buying tickets in advance for this reason. Tickets are about $24 and parking is $5 an hour. If you’re just doing the museum, I’d say 1-2 hours is more than enough, but if you’re doing the red train tour as well you may want to purchase 3-4 hours of parking. Paying for parking is easy, as you pay through a QR code on your camera app. Great experience overall! 😄✨
Milly’s F — Google review
Enjoyed all the oddities and info that came along with each item. So much to look at. They have some activities you can try throughout the tour. We saw and listened to various stories about different cultures from around the world. There is also a gift shop located upon exiting the tour. We also enjoyed the red train tour. It was about an hour but Ed; our tour guide, made the tour informative, funny, enjoyable and educational. Will certainly be back!

Our family had such a wonderful time on the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Red Train Tour! Our driver, Cheyenne, was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area—we all learned so much during the ride. My three kids had a blast and were engaged the entire time, which says a lot! Cheyenne went above and beyond by even taking family photos for us, which we’ll treasure as memories of this trip. Thank you for making our experience fun, educational, and truly special. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Cheyenne as your driver!

It was great. Lots of fun stuff to learn about. Not to crowded. We took a tour with their train guide tour too. And the guy working it was great. Learnt a lot. And he was funny. Loved it a lot.

Such a nostalgic experience for me because I haven’t been to one of these since I was a kid in California. It was a fun experience walking through and thank God there was a museum with AC! They have several similar things that I could remember from the other location like replicas, but there were also a lot of new things. There were several floors and it was a bit busier when I went so I was stuck behind a few families. My favorite part was the section about the circus sideshow acts! This one was a lot bigger and had more to see than the other one so I enjoyed taking my time through here. Some spots to stop at and take photos with along with some folks who stopped to share some fun facts with you. I think it’s good for families, friends or by yourself!

Took a couple of my nieces. They have never been. They had a blast. The staff was so kind, helped us understand everything and everything told us about the 1 hour tour add-on. Which we did since it wasn't too hot. It was a great fun day.

The Old Jail Museum, constructed in 1890 and now serving as a museum, provides visitors with a unique experience through exhibits and guided tours of its historic cells. The passionate tour guides dressed in period attire offer an immersive journey through the hanging square, punishment hall, and the most dismal jail cell reserved for the worst offenders. This landmark backed by Henry Flagler holds significance as it represents a crucial era in St. Augustine's captivating history.
I've been here twice before so this would be my third time. Our tour guide was so much fun as she explained all the details with expression. You have to make it a point to also go inside and tour the extra stuff. The gift shop had so much to choose from as far as souvenirs to buy. The staff all over the place was nice. There is a restroom that talks to you while you're using it. That was interesting. Make sure you bring quarters with you so that you can play the machines inside the museum. There is plenty of parking.

So so fun! Informational and interesting! Check this place out you will not regret it! It was history but time in a fun and exciting new way where the tour guides are dressed up and act as though they are inmates. Great memories!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Old Jail in St. Augustine, FL! The experience was not only fun but also deeply emotional and memorable. Lizzie is truly on another level—she’s a master at bringing history to life through storytelling and making you feel like you’re part of the story yourself. Thank you so much for everything. We loved every moment and truly love this place.

The Old Jail Museum is a fantastic and engaging tour that brings history to life in a truly memorable way. The experience was both educational and entertaining, giving a vivid look into what life was like back in 1908. A special thank you goes to Viola, who made the tour exceptional—she stayed in character the entire time and played her role so convincingly that it felt as though she was truly a prisoner of that era. Her performance added an authentic and fun element that elevated the entire visit. Thank you, Viola, for making our experience unforgettable!

Excellent tour. Our "inmate", Louie was great, very informative and stayed in character the whole tour. Really interesting to learn the history and what conditions would have been like. A bit spooky and might disturb some people but we really enjoyed it

We Absolutely LOVE St Augustine! The old jail is fun and educational. The staff are great and preform a role as if they are the inmates and staff. They make the whole experience unique and more fun. They walk you through and tell you the history. You can look, touch and smell, Lots of sensory going on. Its air-conditioned and there is also a gift shop too. Parking on site and bathrooms too. We recommend the trolley tours or just the hop on and off day passes.

So glad we opted to take this tour! Our guide was Ed, and he was a character! He was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic- kept us engaged the entire time. Loved the 'inmates' that sit out front and engage with passers by. Enjoyed learning the history of this place.

Lizzie was absolutely amazing!! We've been visiting Old Town trolley tours in St. Augustine since the beginning (2003), and Lizzie is one of the very best!! Not only was she a wonderful tour guide, but in the days we were down here she went out of her way to interact with all of the guests at the jail!! You can tell she really loves what she's doing here! I really hope Old Town Trolley recognizes their great employees and does their very best for them to keep them! By the way, Happy 22nd Anniversary!

Burrito Works Taco Shop is a local Mexican counter-serve chain known for its quirky atmosphere and delicious menu. Starting with just five picnic tables, it has now expanded to four locations while still prioritizing freshness and quality. The restaurant begins each day early, using only the finest ingredients to prepare their tempting array of burritos, tacos, nachos, and their famous UFO - a savory mix of beans and protein grilled to perfection.
We rushed here for our 2yr Anniversary as funny as that sounds. We got the UFO and Evan welcomed us with 15min before close!! Took his time and made us the best UFO we have had yet!! If he’s not a Manager Make Him One!! Amazing experience!! Will Be Back!!

Let’s TACO bout flys. This place is absolutely infested with flies. The food was good but I wouldn’t go back. The chips are just store bought and you can tell. The place was packed and the staff were taking turns going to the bathroom…. Overall it was sketch at best. The overly religious people handing out flyers are in no way this establishments fault, but I figured I’d include that too.

Best Best Best crispy tacos ever!! So good!!! First favorite. 2nd favorite is the UFO. They FRY cheese on the outside. Shut the front door...it is awesome.all the sauces are fresh and good. They have white cheese queso. Great prices, watch your food cook, and sit and eat. Easy to get to on St. George st.

This place is amazing. We passed by the day before and chose to go back the next day because it smelled so good. The food is delicious and so fresh with a large menu to choose from. The service is great and the atmosphere adds to the experience. Well worth a visit if your in St Augustine.

Ok so let me begin by sayin, this is without a shadow of a doubt the best burrito I've ever had! Hands down the best ones i have ever had!! The music and atmosphere in the place brought me back to a time (90s) where things were better. The look of the place did the same too. As did the staff! If asked "would I reccomend?" I would unequivocally say 1000% yes! *funny story* later in the evening, (I ate here at 1pm) my girl and I were already back home in orlando, and were hungry. I mentioned tango bravo aka taco bell, and she scolded me harshly, and she was right to. How dare I disrespect this amazing food from Burrito Works, with some lesser food in the same day. We opted to make food from scratch. For all my fellow stat nerds, the burrito I ate, gave me +100 nostalgia +100 health and mana +100 speech. I strongly strongly strongly advise eating here. Totally worth it. Heck, the ol lady an i are contemplating driving the two hours from O-town just for this place alone! I wonder if they sell shirts, mugs or fridge magnets? id totally buy them!

IT WAS SO GOOODD! I got a single taco with ground beef and the works style. I also got kung fu panda crust. It was delicious I had to order a second one after I ate. ITS DELICIOUS AND ADDITCIVE 😍😍 The works isnt spicy but Baja blast is so be careful of that

One of my favorite local taco shop! Great food and selections to customize your lunch or dinner. Everything is fresh and comes out fast and perfect. It’s a must for a nice lunch after a morning at the beach or a bike ride. Bright colors, outdoor seating, great friendly staff, incredible food at a fair price! Located in the Historic District, Collage is a charming 48-seat restaurant known for its romantic ambiance and diverse menu. The eatery focuses on local seafood, offering a variety of fish entrees that change daily based on the fishermen's catch. In addition to seafood, the menu also features steak, lamb, and veal dishes. The upscale setting sets it apart from other dining options in the area.
Was looking for an upscale place to eat the last night of our vacation and came here. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. We had the surf and turf (seasonal special with a tenderloin and lobster tail) and the black grouper. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh. The rum cake at the end was clearly handmade and so light and fluffy.

My husband and I were out of town and dined here last night celebrating our 20th anniversary. I can’t say enough great things about Collage. Every detail was perfect. The appetizer was excellent and the food was extraordinary. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Our waitress Emma was exquisite. We will definitely be back for sure when we are in the area.
Rebecca E — Google review
Having no lack of fine dining experiences, Collage was fantastic in every aspect. How intimate dining should be. Warm, fluffy baked bread served with fresh roasted garlic, inviting atmosphere, perfected menu options and attentive service. Our party of four shared 3 delicious appetizers, 4 perfect entrées, and 3 bottles of medium-priced wine, for a total of $500 with tip. VERY happy with our choice to dine here. We had escargot, carpaccio and seared scallops wrapped in prosciutto for appetizers. While we thought salt was needed for some of us, they were each excellent. For entrees, the gentlemen had tenderloin steaks with choice of sauces and additional toppings. Melt in your mouth tender and delicious to perfection. The ladies had black grouper and veal scallopini orleans. The veal was delicious, and even though the steaks were perfect, the black grouper was absolutely outstanding. We all agreed the black grouper entree was the award winner.

Super cute atmosphere and amazing food. The service was some of the best we’ve experienced in Florida. The location was within walking distance of the Hilton. Only 15 tables so it books up fast! A must try while in St Augustine.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My son and I came in here on Friday night for the first time and let me tell you it exceeded our expectations! We had a server named Kate that was phenomenal! She made our dining experience extra special. There was also a server named Harmony that came over and ran food for us and also talk to my son and I and she was absolutely so sweet too! The food OMG! Hands down definitely one of the best steaks we have ever had and my son and I eat everywhere. When we come to St Augustine we visit all the different restaurants and try there cuisine. Collage is definitely going to be a must when we come back. It was immaculate and the food was extremely delicious, like on another level! The service is fantastic and even the guests were super sweet. At one point all of us in the one room started talking to one another. It was definitely one of the most memorable restaurant experiences that my son and I have ever had. We can't wait to come back and we highly recommend to anyone that is visiting the St Augustine area. Collage is an absolute must if you want to eat amazing food!

My wife and I had an absolutely divine night out at Collage. She had the surf and turf, I had the catch of the day. Her lobster tail was cooked perfectly and had an amazing Hollandaise sauce and the steak was a tender and salt kisses medium rare. Served with a borderlais over mushroom risotto and with broccolini. I had the catch of the day which was melt in your mouth swordfish stuffed with spinach and feta with capers and heirloom cherry tomatoes over a risotto with broccolini. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. We finished with a creme brulee. It's a shame we live two hours from St. Augustine, but we will be adding the Collage to our must visit locations.

Wonderful evening for my Grandson's Birthday! Food and service was excellent. Delicious food. I had the redfish special, grandson loved his lobster ravioli and the rest of our family were very happy with their dishes. Lily was very sweet and professional as well. Franco recommended excellent wines for us! Can't wait to return soon.

Upscale and elegant dinner. The bread was a tip-off as to how good this dinner would be. Split special Panzanella salad to start, onto escargot on puff pastry with mushrooms. The mushrooms texture complimented the escargot perfectly, and wonderfully contrasted with the puff pastry which didn't get soggy despite an ample amount of brandy cream sauce. The wife's tenderloin with gorgonzola was perfect as per her report. I only have one nit-pick on my filet au poivre, and that's to go rare+ the way they cooked it. It was a nudge past where I like a filet, and by nudge I'm only talking a degree or two. It was still more than acceptable. Too full, the wife got dessert to go. We hung around long enough for a Penfold's Grandfather Rare Tawny Solera Blended from Australia, though, which was exquisite. Friendly, attentive, and all around great service thanks to Kate. Worthy of a special occasion place. Another restaurant I'd go 4.5 on, but can't, so 4 it is.

Subway is a casual counter-serve chain for build-your-own sandwiches and salads, with health-conscious options. The staff are attentive and the shop is clean. They offer free sandwiches with the purchase of an order of food.
I absolutely loved this place, I was greeted with a man by the name of Gray, Super-Ectastic! Positive! Definitely a man caring the brand of Subway Including the whole interaction he is overall an excellent employee and or possible manager! Keep it up subway.

The Best Subway Restaurant I have been too. I ate at a lot of different Subway Restaurants but this one is the best. The Subs were made so lovely. The lady who made our subs did a great job.

So slow.....really need more people behind the counter. And the register software froze up, and everybody was just waiting and waiting at the height of the lunch hour rush. Ridiculous!

It's 7:47pm and the store says 10pm... they are closed! Both workers looked at me and confirmed. I wonder what is wrong... lack of food? Lack of workers? Lack of Business?

Absolutely disgusted by the service I received here. Two servers were clearly laughing at customers, and it made for a very uncomfortable and offensive experience. I will not be returning.

Probably the best subway employee, I didn’t get his name but he had glasses on also tall. He greets everyone who walks in and even waved at us as we left. He was really fast and knows what he is doing. I think he should be promoted.

This Subway doesn't have breakfast items (which are my favorite), but that's ok because I got my second favorite buffalo chicken, and it was made perfectly! Their restaurant is clean, it was decorated so awesome for Halloween (none of the other Subways have been), and Vanessa behind the counter was super sweet to everyone that came in while I was there. Great experience and meal!

This Subway is fine. I had my online order not made her one time, because the printer that online orders come in over was out of paper. Not a big deal, Subway subs don't take that long to make, so it wasn't like I was even inconvenienced. This is the closest Subway to my house, and despite being Uptown, it's in a pretty convenient place to get in and out of.

Seafood restaurant
St. Augustine Seafood Company is a casual restaurant and bar with a sea-blue decor, offering fried fish, chowders, and other Florida flavors in a fast-casual atmosphere. Located near the famous Castillo de San Marcos, this eatery sources its daily menu from local fishing boats and can trace every plate back to the boat that brought it ashore.
Food was awesome, I got the grilled shrimp basket, the shrimp were amazing! The fries were perfectly crisp, I ate all of them, and I don’t usually eat all my fries. The John John sauce was fantastic! The service was a bit slow, but the food was great. My friend got the burger, he loved it.

This is a great place for lunch. The selection is big... Everyone will certainly find something good to eat. W shared the Fresh Catch today, fried Mahi, fries and coleslaw. The food was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. You'll find indoor or outdoor seating options... Order at the counter and find your own seat... They'll bring it to you. I highly recommend St. Augustine Seafood Company. We'll be back again this week for sure.

WOW! 🤩 The service? Absolutely top notch. The food? Incredible. Alyssa is the BEST! I ordered the avocado rice bowl with blackened shrimp and let me tell you … WOW. Hands down the best shrimp I’ve ever had. Alyssa, the bartender, was phenomenal. I was debating a margarita but wasn’t feeling the sugar overload. Without missing a beat, she offered to make me a vodka soda with muddled fruit, lime, orange, and lemon. Light, refreshing, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. The vibe of the place is just as impressive. The bar is adorable, the AC is bliss (especially on a hot day), and it’s part of a charming setup of connected spaces with a lively outdoor music area. If you’re in St. Augustine, do not miss The Seafood Company. 10/10 recommend!!! I will be back!!! ❤️🏝️🙌🏻

Honestly, the fish wasn’t tasty at all - both the fried and grilled options were really bland. The place felt like a typical tourist trap, and the prices were too high for what we got. The watermelon and cucumber salad didn’t taste fresh at all. Next time, I’d rather find a different place to eat.

My husband got the snapper blackened and it was so good! I got the fried oysters and they were small with lots of breading. If you like them that way then definitely get them. I prefer bigger ones and lighter breading. Fries were ok. The slaw was surprisingly really good. I did not think that I would like it with what it's made with. We also got a dozen raw oysters and they were good. Only had one bad one. The yellow one in the photo. I did not eat that one. Overall it's a really decent experience. I would come again.

The restaurant captures the essence of the city known for jazz and distinctive cuisine by infusing Cajun, Creole, and Southern flavors with a modern twist. From Shrimp and Scallop Orleans to Bourbon Street Salmon, their menu features an array of seafood, chicken, beef, pork dishes as well as burgers, Po Boys, salads and more.
Very good food. Tasted like authentic Louisiana cuisine. The fried green tomatoes are a must. Gumbo and she crab soups were both great. Our server was kind of weird. Never got to try the banana crème brûlée though because the server simply gave us the bill instead of asking if we wanted desserts. We were like oh well. Outside tables were pretty, but inside tables were pretty depressing.

Wow. It’s been a long time since I’ve been wholly impressed by a restaurant. Every single thing about this place was amazing. Service, ambiance, food were all 10/10. There is not one complaint to be made. The hostess who sat us was so sweet and very accommodating to our large stroller for our son. Our server Daniel had what could only be best described as charisma, he was not over the top pushy yet was still completely attentive and subtly funny. It felt like we had an inside joke with him (over what I can’t tell you but it’s like we had our friend serving us). He checked in just enough that we didn’t feel neglected but also never felt over bothered. On top of that when we sat down it seemed the whole restaurant did as well. But the staff didn’t let us see them sweat. Honestly we were so shocked to see how cohesive they moved to get tables serviced. If you’re wondering no we have no personal connection. We are simply on a family road trip and we always stay in Saint Augustine. Can’t believe this is our first time here because pretty sure it’s the only restaurant we’re going to eat at when we visit.

Went to a soft opening in early September and the place is awesome! Food, service, and ambiance is all very good. Being on Lake Okahumpka is a plus as you can see sunsets & the occasional gator. Bar is very cool with about 50 seats with views of the TV’s! Check it out! There will be a wait so be patient as it is worth it!

Our recent visit to Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille for my man birthday was exceptional, starting with our incredible server, Melanie, who made the whole experience effortless and five-star worthy. We started strong with the appetizers: the rich, smoky gumbo and the fish dip - they were both amazing! For the main event, the Crab Crusted Redfish Royale was a truly luxurious indulgence. The delicate, flaky redfish was topped with a generous, savory crab crust that was absolute perfection. My partner’s Andouille Grouper was equally dynamic, featuring a beautifully prepared fillet with the robust, spicy kick of Andouille sausage. Harry's delivers expertly crafted seafood and true New Orleans flair. We'll be talking about this meal for months! Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars Recommended Dishes: Crab Crusted Redfish Royale, Andouille Grouper, Gumbo

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Fish tacos, history, and a balcony view worth every calorie!” If you go to Harry’s in St. Augustine, do yourself a favor — sit on the balcony! You get this postcard-perfect view of the waterfront and the Lions Bridge, right next to El Castillo de San Marcos. It’s like dinner and a history lesson with seasoning! Our server Jeremy from Indianapolis was awesome — he just moved to Florida and already delivering 5-star service. (Good luck out here, buddy, just wait till you meet Florida humidity 😅). We found this spot on TikTok, and for once, TikTok didn’t lie! The calamari was crispy, the fish tacos were 🔥, and yes… I ordered a hamburger at a seafood place. I know, I know — but don’t judge me, the burger was legit! 😂 Between the view, the food, and the vibe, I left full, happy, and slightly jealous of Jeremy’s new job location. 10/10 — would definitely go back (and maybe even try something that actually swims next time). 🐟🍔🌊

First time experience was exceptional! I had the shrimp and scallops orleans, everything was prepared well and fantastic, and my wife had the fried shrimp and grouper with red beans and rice and sweet corn grits. She enjoyed every bite! My meal included grits cakes, which I don't normally care for, and these were delicious! We had the butter pecan cheesecake for dessert, and I would have paid the cost of the meal for that cheesecake.

Harry's Seafood, Bar & Grille is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an enchanting atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you’re there for a date night, a family outing, or just a fun evening with friends, the lively and welcoming vibe makes it enjoyable for everyone. I truly fell in love with this restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect mix of delicious food and a magical ambiance!

Father's Day and hello again, beloved St. Augustine! The restaurant is in an old two-story house, many separate rooms, there is a great party area, where in the evenings there is live music, an excellent view from the balcony of the bay. There are a lot of people, but the wait for a table took only 10 minutes and it's great! Prices for lunch and dinner are different. We ordered Grouper Fingers, fish in batter, arugula and sauces, delicious and they also brought hot bread with garlic butter, this is crazy taste, I need to cook it at home too. French Market pasta for me, be prepared that the portion is huge, shrimps, professionally cooked, chicken pieces, the pasta is delicious. Bourbon Street Salmon for my husband, broccoli was a little raw, but this is an acquired taste, I always eat them fresh, it is healthier, but my husband did not like it, mashed potatoes were delicious and most importantly salmon under a slightly spicy sauce was magnificent. Thanks to Eric for fast and unobtrusive service. Thanks to everyone who works in the kitchen. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and acquaintances.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine is a stately and historic 18th-century cathedral with a grand interior, events, and a gift shop. It holds the distinction of being the oldest Christian congregation in the U.S., with its roots dating back to 1565. The current structure features a Spanish-style facade and a spectacular vaulted interior completed in 1797.
What a beautiful building! The day we visited the historic district, we were able to go in and self tour. Everything about this building is exquisite. Floor to ceiling, everything is worth viewing. It makes you wonder just how they were able to create this back in the time when there weren't power tools and everything was brought in off boats, trains, horse and buggy. There is a small gift shop also worth visiting on the back side with religious items. Entrance to the church was free and there were volunteers on site to assist with questions. This was an unexpected surprise to be able to see during our visit to St. Augustine.

We attended a 7AM mass on a Sunday. It was divine. One if the best full of wisdom homilies I have ever heard. I would attend mass almost everyday. It gives me peace of mind and yes, I rest in the Lord. The priest noticed my disability and prayed over me. It was such a blessing. We stayed a little bit to take pictures of this beautiful 18th century Cathedeal Basilica. I would comeback here given the chance again.

Whether you’re religious or not, this cathedral is definitely worth a visit. The outside is cool, but the inside is breathtaking. It’s filled with stained glass, figurines, and decor that are absolutely stunning, and there’s a solemn aura throughout the place. I would highly recommend sitting in a pew and taking a few moments to reflect while admiring the interior.

The oldest Catholic parish in the United States — just look at their website! — the Cathedral Basilica is a spectacular if not huge church that one would expect to see in Europe, not Florida. I felt like I was transported several thousand miles in just a few moments. This is a must visit regardless of your religion if you were visiting Saint Augustine.

I recently visited the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine for Sunday mass while on vacation, and it was an unforgettable memory! The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the breathtaking beauty of the architecture—ornate stained glass windows casting colorful light across the pews, and intricate details in every corner that tell a story of history and the Catholic faith. The peaceful ambiance invited reflection, yet the vibrant murals and gilded accents sparked awe, which brought to life the cathedral’s role as America’s first parish, founded in 1565. The blend of Spanish colonial heritage and sacred serenity is unmatched. God bless!

Beautiful Basilica, we were visiting and attended the 11:00am mass. The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine (Spanish: Catedral basílica de San Agustín) is a historic cathedral in St. Augustine, Florida, and the seat of the Catholic Bishop of St. Augustine. Constructed over five years (1793–1797), it was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark on April 15, 1970. Its congregation, established in 1565, is the oldest Christian congregation in the contiguous United States. It was a blessing to attend the Sunday mass.

The Floridian Restaurant offers a modern menu featuring locally sourced Southern cuisine with plenty of vegan options, all served in a kitschy decor. Husband-and-wife team Jeff McNally and Genie Kepner have curated a menu that embraces Florida's Southern food heritage using native ingredients in lighter and fresher dishes.
One of the best local spots! Wide range of things to order, nice atmosphere and great service. I've ordered most of the menu, and everything has been so good. My personal favorite is the Biscuits and Belly. The pork belly will melt in your mouth, and the sauces are all unique and delicious. Definitely get some cornbread, too, and finish it off with a Kentucky Derby slice! Pictures I had are of a recent take out order, and they were just as good as eating in!

I’ve been to St. Augustine before, but never dined at this place until now. We just arrived in town today & were looking for a nice spot for dinner when we stumbled upon this cute, cozy & surprisingly spacious restaurant. They offer a great variety of options for everyone—meat eaters, vegans & vegetarians alike. As a vegetarian, it’s not always easy to find a good place to eat, but both my boyfriend & I were genuinely impressed. This place is a solid 10/10! The food, service, ambiance & drinks were all top-notch. As someone who doesn’t drink, I had one of the best non-alcoholic beverages I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a curry with tofu & it was an absolutely incredible food experience. My boyfriend had a meat plate that he loved & he was also really impressed with their beer selection. We also got a dip appetizer which was very delicious. Overall, an amazing experience—we’ve already decided this will be our go-to spot whenever we’re in town!

Great food and server, but disappointing reservation handling and missed opportunity on a special occasion We had a reservation at The Floridian and arrived 10 minutes early. Despite checking in promptly, we weren’t seated until over 20 minutes past our reservation time—30 minutes after check-in—with no communication or update from the host stand. To make matters worse, a party of four and a party of thirteen, both with the same reservation time and who arrived after us, were seated before us. No explanation was given. It felt like our reservation—and our time—weren’t given any consideration. When we booked the reservation, we were prompted to indicate if we were celebrating a special occasion. We noted that it was our anniversary, hoping that would add a nice personal touch to our evening. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment from the host stand, and no gesture or effort from the restaurant as a whole. Our server, however, was excellent. When we mentioned it was our anniversary, she warmly wished us a happy anniversary right away. She was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive throughout the meal—an absolute bright spot in the experience. This review is in no way a reflection of her service. The food was also a highlight: the brisket posole was phenomenal, and the meatloaf was quite good. We left satisfied with the food and truly appreciated our server’s professionalism. Still, on what should’ve been a special and memorable night, we left feeling overlooked. A simple gesture—a dessert, a note, or just a little acknowledgment—would have gone a long way. Especially since the system prompted us to share that we were celebrating, it was disappointing to see no follow-through. Great food and service—but the front-of-house experience and guest communication need work, particularly when it comes to honoring reservations and occasion-based bookings.

I visited The Floridian in St. Augustine with three friends, and we all had such a great experience! Every meal we ordered had its own unique flavor — each dish tasted different in the best way, and everything was delicious. You can tell they put care into the ingredients and preparation. Visiting from WA state and we had an outstanding meal. So fantastic to be able to find truly delicious vegan options and not just a salad minus the cheese! I had fried green tomatoes (my go to when I am in the South) followed by the curry with tofu which was wonderful. My only sadness, they were sold out of vegan dessert so my waste-line was saved! Hats off to our server Troy, he explained everything and was attentive throughout our meal.

We had a wonderful lunch experience! The lunch menu had an excellent selection, and the food was prepared exceptionally well. If you're looking for something fresh and earthy, the Grain Bowl salad is a must-try, seriously, no need for extra protein! The Biscuit and Belly appetizer was delicious. While the soup of the day (vegetarian eggplant, potato, peppers, etc.) might sound simple, its flavors were surprisingly complex and truly outstanding. Our group also thoroughly enjoyed the Burrito Fresco and the Cuban (pork) Floridan. We're already planning our next visit to explore the dinner menu!

Specialty Museums
Nestled in the heart of St. Augustine, the Lightner Museum is a treasure trove of Victorian-era artifacts and 19th-century decorative arts, all housed within the stunning former Alcazar Hotel, built by Henry Flagler in 1888. This architectural gem showcases an eclectic collection that ranges from exquisite Tiffany glass and fine furniture to peculiar curiosities like shrunken heads and human hair art.
Really enjoyed visiting the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine. Admission was $20 and ends at 4pm and they close at 5pm, I see a lot of people mix up the times. The building itself is beautiful and full of history, and the exhibits have a nice mix of art, antiques, and interesting old items. The old swimming pool area turned into a display space. It’s a relaxing place to wander through at your own pace. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re exploring the area. Bathrooms available through out the building.

The Lightner Museum is definitely worth a visit, with a beautiful historic building and an impressive collection of art and antiques. The architecture alone makes it a special stop, and there’s a lot to see throughout the different floors. That said, it leans more toward being an art gallery than a traditional museum, which might not be what everyone expects. Still, it’s a great place to spend a couple of hours, and I’d give it 4 stars for the atmosphere, history, and variety on display.

I am a wedding photographer and I hosted my wedding in the courtyard at the Lightner Museum, my team photographed our wedding and it was everything I hoped for! Despite the work they were doing on the courtyard, everything turned out amazing!!! Staff was amazing, the venue is gorgeous and so much history. I loved every moment. As a wedding photographer, we have photographed weddings at the Lightner Museum and just like my very own wedding day, it is beautiful and everything every bride dreams of. If you are looking for a ceremony venue, this is it!

If you like historic, unique and beautiful museums then you will enjoy this. You have the option of being self guided or with a guide so I opted for self. While I’m not a history buff I did enjoy walking around to the different levels to see how they sectioned off each rooms and area. A couple of my favorite rooms were the stained glass, timeline of the evolution of bicycles, and the crystal and glass room. Each room had its own story and when you get to the end there’s a beautiful courtyard looking down of where you can enjoy lunch at their cafe! It took me about 30 minutes to complete at a quicker pace but it could take up to 45 mins or longer. There were a handful of beautiful pockets to take pictures at outside as well and a cute little gift shop on your way out.

Step into another world perhaps a better world. Beauty and thoughtfulness surround you. What a brilliant contrast to the throw away culture we now inhabit. The Lightner Museum in St. Augustine is stunning. I loved the mix of art, history, and architecture — every room felt like stepping back into the Gilded Age. The building is a masterpiece with its Spanish Renaissance design, beautiful courtyard, and incredible details throughout. From antique instruments and glasswork to fine art and historic artifacts, everything was thoughtfully displayed.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, established in 1965 to honor the city's 400th anniversary, is a renowned outdoor venue for live entertainment and events. Situated on 16 acres near Anastasia State Park, it underwent extensive renovations from 2002 to 2007, resulting in added features like a plaza, walking trails, and more. With a seating capacity of over 4,000 people, it hosts various activities including music festivals and fairs.
Wonderful venue with great acoustics and really good seating. Not really a bad seat in the place. Better to sit on the left half since the setting sun can be a bit much if you’re on the right. Great selection of food trucks too!

We attended an event at The Amphitheater and there were some good things about the Venue, and there are some not so good. Although we live near St. Augustine, we had never been to an event there. Our Daughter graduated from Flagler College there in the City.Overall this is a beautiful place. This is Florida and we have a lot of outdoor event venues. This stage was big and totally covered. The rest of the place is like a “ big covered tent”. There are 3 sections. Sections one and two are covered, but section three is Not covered. If it rains,, you will get wet. The day of our event, there was a storm on its way. We were fortunate, the graduation was over before the rain. There is a small refreshment area. Bathrooms are convenient and they were clean. Parking is challenge. The lot connected to the venue is little. They funnel almost everyone to over flow parking. The Elks Club parking is next door, and this is where we parked. They also shuttle from Anastasia State Park. Very nice Venue, just be ready to be flexible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ St. Augustine Amphitheatre – A Perfect Outdoor Venue! The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is one of the best concert venues in Florida! The setting is absolutely beautiful—tucked under a canopy of old oak trees, it has that classic Florida charm while still feeling intimate and well-organized. The sound quality is top-notch, and there’s really not a bad seat in the house. Parking and entry are smooth, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the venue offers plenty of food and drink options (including local favorites). I also love that it’s so close to the beach and the historic downtown area—perfect for turning a concert night into a weekend getaway. Whether you’re catching a big-name act or a local event, the St. Augustine Amphitheatre delivers an unforgettable experience every time! This visit, John Legend!

I had the pleasure of attending my first concert at The Amp last night and WOW - what an elevated experience! This is truly the best concert venue I have ever been to. Parking, entering and exiting the venue was an absolute breeze (no traffic at all), the grounds were beautiful and well-maintained, and every single attendant I encountered was friendly and eager to assist (including those handing out free water to attendees waiting in the long merch line)! I must give special recognition to Tim at the Box Office for truly going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued. His passion for his job shines and enthusiasm for The Amp contagious - I will go out of my way to seek out shows at this venue because The Amp has elevated my show-going experience. Thank you ALL!

Wonderful experience! Went to see Allison Krause a few weeks ago. It couldn’t have been better. My 90 yr old mom is handicap and they were so good to her, front parking, wheel chair to special seats and back to our car. Thanks for giving my mom a nice time!

Best small venue ever! Seats are comfortable and wherever we sit there is good view of the stage. Bathrooms can get crowded, but friendly staff keeps the line moving. Food and drinks are available to purchase at the entrance. Drinks are pricey, which is common at these type venues. Can be difficult to carry food up into the stands. I think people should eat before going into concert area.

Excellent acoustics, very nice ambience when the weather is right. Tricky to park, watch out if you're using all Uber on the way out because everyone else will be trying to get an Uber so there'll be a long wait. Leave 15 minutes early before the concerts over you'll be okay.

Restaurant
Café Alcazar is a unique dining spot located within the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, Florida. Situated in what was once the largest indoor swimming pool in the world, this elegant eatery offers refined New American cuisine for lunch seven days a week and dinner once a month. The opulent ambiance of Café Alcazar makes it one of St. Augustine's most extraordinary restaurants, drawing in diners looking for a distinctive experience off the main tourist path.
We had a fantastic experience at the Alcazar Café in St. Augustine. The setting alone is incredible—you're dining in what used to be a historic indoor swimming pool, surrounded by beautiful architecture and images of the hotel’s past. What made the visit truly exceptional, though, was our server, Sean (I hope I’m spelling that right). He was everything you’d want in a server: friendly, attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond for us, and his service alone makes me want to come back. The food was very, very good—I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but when paired with the outstanding service and unique atmosphere, it made for an unforgettable outing. Highly recommend!

Went for lunch. Definitely get a reservation(we had one). The service was sub par. There are only about 10 tables and 3 servers. It took at least 5 minutes for our server to greet us and get drinks. I was super put off my how dirty/ stained our server’s hands were- paint perhaps? The menu is limited. The food was ok- nothing to write home about- except the escargot. That was great! The rice was pretty bad- avoid. Being in the pool was pretty cool but it would have been neat if the server had maybe given us some history. The piano player was top notch tho- it WOULD make a cool venue for a wedding or something. All in all- I would take people to SEE the pool cafe, but not eat there.

Some friends recommended this place for it's unique setting as it was once an old swimming pool. We ordered the combo lunches. I got the turkey, bacon, avacado with the Greek salad. Mine was excellent in every was. Fresh, tasty, olives were tart and honey mustard dressing was nice. My wife ordered the chicken club and the soup of the day, tomatoes bisque. She said both were tasty but the chicken was very chewy. Very nice restaurant and would come again.

We had a great lunch here while visiting St. Augustine. Very cool historical building, really nice atmosphere and delicious food. I had the Cuban sandwich and my wife had the shrimp pasta. The background music provided by the live guitarist was excellent.

I ordered the Greek cup of soup with a half sandwich, and my wife had a cup of potato soup with a half sandwich. Both were very good—flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere was really neat, and the service stood out. There was a short wait to be seated, but our waiter made us feel comfortable and even brought a pitcher of sweet tea made with simple syrup (sugar water already melted into the tea), which was a nice touch. Overall, the food was delicious and fairly unique for a small café. We enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again. That said, the portions felt a bit small for the price. For around $20, I would have expected a whole sandwich and a small side.

We went on the Saturday before mother's day with a party of 5. It was my first time eating the and I would give it 10 stars if I could. The food tasted amazing and was beautifully plated with care. Our server Brianna was outstanding! She was extremely attentive, knew the menu without hesitation, and was beyond polite and courteous! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Donna G — Google review
You go here for the uniqueness and the history not the food or service. We went for lunch on a Thursday during the summer and made reservations but they weren't really needed. This feels like a pop up restaurant. There's no real coordination, the servers don't know what they're doing, and the food is average and expensive. But, worth doing once. There was a classical guitarist playing who was very good and fresh flowers on the table.

Coffee shop
The Kookaburra Downtown is a laid-back cafe with an Australian vibe that first opened its doors in 2012 at Cathedral Place. This popular spot offers a range of specialty coffees, delightful baked goods, and their renowned Aussie Pies. The cafe has gained a loyal following for its creatively named drinks, Australian-brewed coffee, and a variety of sweet and savory pies.
Get coffee here in St. Augustine! The aroma of freshly roasted coffee seeds is alluring. The coffee is well prepared, and they offer a good mix of flavoring and options. I loved my Honey Badger cold! It had crisp coffee kick!

I didn’t realize it at first, but this is actually part of a franchise that serves Australian-style coffee, and you can find it in other locations as well. That said, I was really happy to come across it here in this small town, it felt like a hidden gem. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. And the coffee? Absolutely delicious, smooth, rich, and perfectly made. All in all, a lovely discovery that made my day. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for this brand in other cities too!

The Kookaburra was a cute little spot that was our first stop in St. Augustine. I guess we walked in a little late because they were all sold out of pies when we got there. However, the coffee we ordered was really good. The place was good and I hope I can get some of the pies the next time we visit.

Arrived around 11 am and they were unfortunately out of their Breakfast pies. Settled on a raspberry scones and a pumpkin muffin instead and they were tasty. The barrista forgot them at first so I had to go up and ask for them, for which she profusely apologized. Coffee was good. Had a vanilla and cinnamon latte. They're in the middle of expanding so hopefully there will be even more decorations.

Delicious Australian coffee - I had their ice caramel latte and strawberry scone. The coffee was great; would have liked if the scone was warmed up. It’s the perfect shop for a morning stop and located right in the downtown area. A must visit for sure. Limited sitting areas but it’s perfect for a grab and go.

While out for a morning walk, I stumbled upon this not so hidden gem! Their decaf Piccolo (Cortado) served with sparkling water was so amazing I stayed for a second. Then ordered two regular piccolos to go so my wife could enjoy one upon waking. If you're a coffee lover like me... I highly recommend!!

Amazing Muffins and Perfect Coffee! Absolutely loved this place! The muffins were warm, soft, and full of flavor, truly homemade goodness. Pizza restaurant
Pizza Time is a no-frills pizzeria in St. Augustine that offers a wide selection of New York-style pies by the slice. The spot is perfect for a quick bite, especially after a night out, and it boasts the biggest pizza in town with 20-inch round pies.
Cash only! Which I actually love… as long as I don’t have to pay the tax 😄. There’s an ATM on site, but it charges a fee to withdraw. 💰🤑 Well… a trip to St. Augustine isn’t cheap anyway! The pizza has an authentic, delicious flavor with a great variety to choose from. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. 👌🏻❤️ Honestly, it was really tasty, but I think the prices could be a bit more reasonable. Still, a delicious and memorable experience ✌🏻
Sasan M — Google review
Great pizza! Perfect crust. Savory cheese. Just the right sauce to cheese to crust ratio. They know pizza. This place is only cash so be prepared. They have an ATM if you forget. It's right on the strip. They stay open while others close at night. It can get pretty crowded but it's worth the wait. Expect to pay tourist prices for slices. We've come here before. They seriously have the best rustica pizza I've ever had (roasted vegetables). I think it has at least 7 different veggies. I stopped counting. Plenty of seating for the whole family too.
E. B — Google review
Looks Can Be Deceiving I wasn’t impressed. Sure, all the pizzas on display looked incredible — bubbling cheese, crisp edges, mouthwatering toppings — but the taste didn’t live up to the visuals. The dough was way too thick and had a spongy texture. I asked for a crispy slice and got a soggy crust instead. At $5.50 a slice, I expected more, especially from the cheese, which lacked flavor and richness. To make matters worse, they didn’t have garlic powder — a basic essential for any true pizza lover. Maybe that’s a small thing to some, but coming from Queens, NY, where good pizza is a standard, this place just didn’t deliver. Also worth noting: they only take cash. In 2025, that’s just not practical. Bottom line: the place looks great, but it falls short in flavor, texture, and overall experience.
Jax E — Google review
Pizza was not worth the $45 we paid for 3 slices, 2 drinks and a potato ball. Was it good? Sure. Is it the best in America? No. Probably not even the best on St George Street to be honest. The lasagna pizza did taste like lasagna though so props for that! Overall, it was very hyped in our opinion. Points lost for specific prices not being posted, soda being $5 with only one refill, and pizza being subpar. I would've rather had Pizza Hut, papa John's, dominos, flippers, little Caesar's even. Atmosphere was nice, lots of seating for when we went (12:45pm) and employees were polite, but not overly welcoming or eager to assist.
Briana K — Google review
I will start by saying that this is not good pizza. I’m not sure how they are “award-winning” as they claim. The flavors and crust of the pizza is decent. Olive medley side cup was nice. Atmosphere is classic pizza shop. Cash only. However, this is the heaviest slice of pizza I’ve ever seen. They load every slice with wayyyyy too much cheese, and then other toppings on top. If you eat this entire slice it is a gut bomb that you won’t recover from the rest of the day. Whoever makes these pizzas has no restraint. Nothing is balanced. Just tastes like gobs of cheese. Not a fan. Also their fountain drink machine “doesn’t dispense water” so you will need to buy their bottles. It’s giving tourist trap vibes.
Joshua B — Google review
My kids said the pizza was good but not the best they’ve had. They do not have gluten free meat options. The Greek salad is good. They wanted $5 for a bottle of water. I walked next door to the French pastry place and got a bottle for $2. Communication on how the place works is terrible. There’s no displayed menu with pricing. It was $55 for 3 slices of pizza and 2 small salads. Cash only. Overall, I wouldn’t return.
Laura C — Google review
Right off the pedestrian historic district... Pretty authentic NY pizza by the slice, all the meat pizza was excellent, cheese is high quality mozzarella 👍🏻 garlic rolls were very good. Small treek salads were excellent. Potato ball with red sauce was meh... I would skip that, along with Sicilian pizza with free mozzarella, the pizza is better. Everything else was great. My only complaint was the price gouge on soda - $5 for a soft drink? Way too much! While I enjoyed dinner, it would be 4 stars if the drinks were reasonable (disappointing!).

Born in PA, live in GA, I yearn & crave for good authentic pizza!!! Visiting FL we came across this place and I KNEW they were it!! The pizza available in the display alone was to die for... but the actual slices and the garlic knots and the dipping marinara sauce was truly to die for. Yes, its a little pricey, but what isn't in FL?! You actually get a giant serving !! CASH ONLY!!! The guy taking my order was polite and the line and process is organized and quick... their system works well and IDK if it was pops, the owner or what, but he was a true Italian and was so kind and gave my child a free soda and it was just awesome!!! The marinara dipping sauce alone, 🤤. Pizza!!! Knots!! Thank you for serving us and satisfying my deepest craving from back home.... now I need a sub... what ya say🥰

The Raintree Restaurant is a charming establishment that has been serving upscale Floribbean cuisine in an elegant Victorian setting for over 40 years. Located in a historic house, the restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its warm ambiance, complete with a fireplace and koi pond. Guests can indulge in a variety of dishes, from local catch of the day to Asian-influenced specialties like Bang Bang shrimp and roast duck.
I have been dining here going back to the '90's. Raintree never disappoints. My family of 6 adults had Christmas holiday dinner in 2024. Each one of us were thrilled with our meal, and we all had different entrees. Fantastic. Great food and great service. Highly recommend.

We went here today for brunch, mainly because I saw a photo of a traditional eggs, Benedict and an eggs Benedict Arnold, sausage, patty, sausage gravy…. And while those were good, especially the sausage one., I am giving this five stars because of the schnitzel!!!! Go order the schnitzel !!! Now! I spent 15 years in the restaurant business and this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had! On top of that it’s affordable ! Cheers!

We had a lovely evening and the food was delicious. We stared with some old fashions. Began the meal with the salad and lobster & sweet pepper soup. Then moved on to the prime rib and halibut with lobster champagne butter sauce. We didn't have room for dessert but I saw some in passing other tables so it's definitely on my list for next time.

Been to Sunday brunch here a few times. Nice historic building. Prices are definitely a bit high for what you get, but that's the tourism tax. Duck Waffles are excellent. Their home fries are soft and mushy, I don't recommend them. Men's room is too run down for somewhere this pricey. Gratuity is added in here automatically, and our waitress did not disclose this which always rubs me the wrong way.

Raintree Restaurant boasts a charming atmosphere and friendly staff, creating an inviting setting for a meal in St. Augustine. However, our brunch experience was marred by significant service and food quality issues that overshadow its appeal. The ambiance is undeniably pleasant, with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff, in general, exudes friendliness, but our server’s performance was a major letdown. Described as a “social butterfly,” she was flighty and frequently absent, leaving us waiting excessively for basic requests. It took 15 minutes to get a to-go box and another 10 for the check, despite requesting both simultaneously. We overheard her sharing her life story—apparently, she “grew up” in the restaurant—at another table, not even hers, which explains her tendency to mill about as if she lived there rather than worked there. This lack of focus left us neglected and frustrated. The food was equally disappointing, suggesting the kitchen was operating with its “C or D team” during brunch. The Beef Wellington, meant to be served rare (120°-125°F), arrived raw, purple, and room temperature—completely unappetizing. The eggs Benedict featured “poached” eggs that were clearly microwaved, not poached, resulting in an unmistakable texture. The burger had potential with a good grind, size, and bun, but lacked seasoning and was overcooked to a dry, gray mess instead of the requested medium (135°-140°F) with a hot-pink center. The home fries, likely air-fried in an unheated air fryer, were dry inside with a rubbery skin. The grits, however, were a bright spot, flavorful and well-prepared. We didn’t complain about the food, chalking it up to an off day and planning to return for dinner to try their reportedly wonderful dishes. We requested a box for the uneaten two-thirds of the raw Beef Wellington, intending to cook it properly at home. When the server finally returned with the check, we were shocked to see a 15% gratuity automatically added for our party of two. No signage indicated this was standard policy, which felt deceptive. I typically tip 20% even for poor service, but since the server preemptively awarded herself 15% for subpar performance, we left it at that. Ultimately, Raintree’s combination of inattentive service, poorly executed dishes, and the audacity of an automatic gratuity for a party of two left a sour taste. If this is their standard practice, it’s a sign of deeper issues—perhaps they should pay their staff better wages instead of relying on mandatory tips to compensate for lackluster service. Regrettably, Raintree is off our list of recommended dining spots in St. Augustine. We won’t be returning, and neither should you if you value attentive service and properly cooked food. Note: This review reflects a single brunch experience. Others may have different experiences, but based on ours, Raintree falls short of its reputation which brought us here that day.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum offers a unique historical adventure with its 1874 black-and-white striped lighthouse, museum, and shipyard playground. Visitors can explore the National Historic Landmark and discover centuries-old artifacts while immersing themselves in the stories of local fishermen and shipwrecked sailors. The museum also showcases over 300 years of St.
The St. Augustine Lighthouse is a pretty cool place to check out if you’re in the area. Admission is a little over $17 per adult, which is on the higher side, but it does give you access to the lighthouse, the museum, and the grounds. The lighthouse climb itself is 219 steps, but it’s really not too bad and the view at the top is beautiful, you get a great look at the coastal front and surrounding area. On a hot day, the museum is a big relief with air conditioning and has some interesting history and artifacts to browse through. The gift shop is also nice, with a big selection of souvenirs ranging from smaller keepsakes to more detailed items. Overall, it’s a neat experience if you want to see one of St. Augustine’s landmarks up close.
Carson S — Google review
Cool place to check out if you’re in the area. The lighthouse was the main attraction of course and it has signs to let you know how far up and how much further you have left as you climbed it. Once you get to the top the views and breeze are nice. The stairs are very narrow so you have to stop and wait or let people go by sometimes. But it’s not a bad hike at all! The rest of the sites are self guided and in old buildings but are maintained. Most have AC which is where you found the most people with it being so hot. There’s plenty of information and artifacts in each part you entered. Unless you’re stopping to read everything, the tour goes by pretty quickly. I highly suggest bringing water with you if you’re going during the summer months.

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum is an absolute must-visit. The property is full of rich history, and the view from the top of the lighthouse is truly breathtaking. While the climb does involve a lot of steps, it is well worth the effort. Beyond the lighthouse itself, there’s so much to explore—from learning how boats were built to seeing how recovered artifacts are carefully cleaned and preserved. This site offers a wonderful mix of history, hands-on learning, and stunning scenery. Definitely worth a stop when visiting St. Augustine.

My wife and I went to the special event at the top of the beautiful historic lighthouse. The event is held once a month to watch the sunset and the full Moon rise. We were rewarded with a beautiful sunset and the full moon rise over the ocean was awesome. Our experience was seriously diminished by the male volunteer that was supposed to be pouring champagne for all the guests but seemed totally focused in looking after two younger women whose glass were always full while we had to ask several times for a second half glass. The volunteer attitude changed a five star experience to barely a three stars. In future please have the volunteer treat all guests equally. At the opposite end we wish to commend Tammy as very pleasant and helpful with information about the lighthouse and in passing food around.

This is a beautiful place set back in some trees, not far from water. There's plenty of history to learn and over 200 steps to reach the top, which has some beautiful views of the area. This is a worthwhile place to explore. The staff are very friendly and eager to answer questions or help.

Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, Florida is a beach-filled paradise spanning 1,600 acres of unspoiled natural beauty. With 4 miles of pristine beachline and campgrounds nearby, it offers a range of activities including swimming, fishing, hiking, birdwatching, and picnicking.
This state park is a jewel. The campgrounds are surrounded by hammocks and water. Brings FL nature right to your doorstep. Some sites sit in lower pockets that may retain water during heavier rain, but the sandy soil provides excellent drainage. The beach is awesome with ample parking and concessions with great beach food and supplies. Close to downtown St. Augustine.

The boardwalk to the beach was absolutely stunning at sunset and the park itself was very clean and spacious. The bathroom facilities were also clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this park for camping or other activities.

Wonderful park for camping and resting. Due to my lovely Irish Norwegian fair skin, I have to avoid the hot sun. This is a difficult balance for a Floridian. The camping spots at ASP are well shaded and the proximity to the beach is perfect!! Sunrises are absolutely breathtaking and the park is well cared for. We enjoyed bird watching in the mornings and swimming in the early evenings. The added bonus is the proximity to downtown Old St. Augustine.

Camping at its best with accommodations for RVs. Power at water at most sites along with picnic table and fire ring. Bathouse (Angel Wing Loop) is 3/5 showing much age and in dire need of updating. Pet friendly. Not all sites are level. Great nights stay with space in between neighbors. Plenty of woods and natural atmosphere.

This is an exceptional state park. The sites are private and level with water and 30-amp electricity at every site. (50 amp available also) The restrooms are well maintained, there are laundry services, recycling, and a dump station. We didn't use the trails due to mosquitoes, but the beach is beautiful!

A bird watchers beach! Love this beautiful stretch of beach. No hotels, restaurants, or loud bars, just untouched dunes and gentle waves. Perfect place for a morning walk. The volunteers that you can find along the beach are so kind, helpful, and informative. Sue took probably an hour showing my daughter and I this amazing, extensive, catalog of the wonderful sea life she had collected over a year. That sort of knowledge and enthusiasm to share science is something I both love and admire. It helps spark conversations and a love for conservation. 🫶🏽

A beautiful place... the beach is a wonderful place to relax or take a walk. The other self guided tours are cool too but we went out during "mosquito" season. Wouldn't really recommend that! 😁

Beautiful dunes and beach!! Tons of Gulf Fritillary butterflies, gulls, and piping plover birds!!! It was soo hot, but so worth enjoying the sand and scenery - and the beachside grill and restrooms right there were a godsend!

Nature & Wildlife Areas
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, with a history spanning over 100 years, is an accredited zoo and a quintessential Florida attraction. It offers gator and reptile shows as well as the opportunity to zip line over the grounds. Visitors can explore rare and beautiful reptiles, birds of Africa, exotic monkeys, lemurs, and many other fascinating species while learning about wildlife research and conservation. The park also provides thrilling experiences such as alligator feedings and live snake encounters.
If you are in St. Augustine and looking for something fun and a little wild, the Alligator Farm is worth checking out. It is not just alligators. They have crocodiles, birds, reptiles, and even some monkeys. The highlight for me was watching the feeding time. Those gators move fast when food is involved. The place is easy to walk through, and there is plenty of shade so you are not roasting in the Florida sun. The boardwalk over the swamp is very cool. You are literally standing over dozens of big gators just relaxing below you. If you like taking pictures, there are a lot of great spots. It is not very large, so you can see everything in a couple of hours, but I liked that. It is the right size for kids without wearing everyone out. The zipline over the gators looked awesome, although we did not try it this time. Overall, it is a mix of wow that is amazing and whoa that is kind of terrifying in the best way. Definitely worth a stop.

Amazing place! All the animals look to be very well taken care of. A beautiful layout most of which is under tree canopy. You feel like you in the country that the animals come from. We absolutely loved it Great parking and tons of stuff to do for the little ones.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Must-See Attraction in Florida! The Alligator Farm in St. Augustine was one of our top must-see attractions during our summer trip to Florida, and it did not disappoint! I work with an individual with a disability, and having accompanied the individual, we were both able to get in free—an unexpected and much-appreciated blessing. Before visiting, I called ahead and the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful in answering all of my questions. Check-in was smooth and easy, though the area right outside the entrance was a bit crowded. Once inside, it was fascinating to see the variety of alligators and other wildlife. There are some quieter areas away from the crowds where you can truly appreciate the natural beauty and watch the alligators in their element. One memorable moment was walking across a bridge when the alligators suddenly let out a loud growl—we didn’t make it all the way across, but it was definitely a unique experience! Now, fair warning: it does smell in quite a few areas, which is to be expected with so many animals and the heat. Just be prepared for that—it’s part of the experience. It was extremely hot the day we went, but thankfully there was an air-conditioned area and a shaded spot (the theater) to cool off. For the adventurous, there’s even a zip line that goes right over the alligators—such a cool feature! Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely one for the memory books. Highly recommend!

One of the best zoos we have ever been to ever. Never seen so many crocodilians in one day. There are 26 species in the world and this place HAS THEM ALL!! It was in the upper 80’s and sunny when we were there, but it was never hot at all because the whole place has big trees that provided shade everywhere. My favorite area was the swamp walk way. I felt like I was walking through the Everglades. All the enclosures were big, beautiful, and well maintained. Lots of other animals also like giant tortoises, turtles, birds, snakes, sloths, and lemurs. No bad odor anywhere. We went on a weekday, and there weren’t too many people at all. Would go back again next time we’re in St Augustine.
K T — Google review
This place is HUGE!! With over 20 different species of alligators! Gators aren't the only attraction in the zoo. Lots of African birds, native snakes, small monkeys and different shows throughout the afternoon. There is also a zip lining option, however we chose to walk through.
Dusti E — Google review
Such a beautiful and scenic place! There’s a small mini-zoo and lots of alligators — truly fascinating to see. The atmosphere is exciting and unique, and you can even watch the alligators being fed, which is an amazing experience. Definitely worth visiting!
Lina G — Google review
This place would be amazing for children. When we went we did not have kids and we still had fun. The alligators make a loud sound. It’s like, growling? I don’t know how to describe. The path is stroller friendly. It is very unique to see this many alligators. I would go back here, kid free or with kids it’s a great time.
Emily E — Google review
Wow — this place completely exceeded our expectations! We’ve visited several wildlife parks and gator exhibits before, so we weren’t sure it would be worth the price… but it absolutely was. Every part of the experience felt well-designed, clean, and immersive. The elevated decking was spotless and made for comfortable, easy viewing throughout the entire park. The gator feeding demonstration was thrilling — educational, exciting, and so cool to watch these incredible animals in action. And let’s talk about Maximo… seeing that massive crocodile up close was worth the ticket alone. What a beast! The only downside? It was hot and humid — but that’s just Florida in August and no fault of the park. There were plenty of shaded areas to help beat the heat. This is a must-do in St. Augustine, whether you’re a local or traveling with kids. Don’t miss it!

The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum offers an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages, transporting them back over 300 years to the Golden Age of Piracy in Port Royal, Jamaica. The museum boasts a diverse collection of artifacts, interactive exhibits, and movie props that bring the history of pirates to life. It's a perfect destination for families, school trips, scout outings, birthday parties, and corporate events.
Lots of history and one-of-a-kind artifacts here. They have bios on the most famous pirates. There are examples of pirate weaponry and tactics. The displays depict how life was on a pirate ship, and the responsibilities of the Captain and the crew. There are lots of interactive and hands on displays. There is a section with displays of actual pirate treasure, and a section that showcases pirates as shown through the eyes of Hollywood. There is also a museum shop. Family friendly.

The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum is an absolute must-see! What a fascinating and fun museum to explore. The clever details in each area, the authentic artifacts, and the masterful use of lighting and shadows create a truly immersive experience. The interactive exhibits and the thrilling treasure hunt tie everything together, making it a blast for both kids and adults. This museum is a unique and entertaining experience that I highly recommend if you're in St. Augustine.

Five Stars! An Adventure for All Ages! This museum was an absolute hit with my family. I took my 7-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter, and they were both completely captivated from the moment we walked in. The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum truly transports you back over 300 years to the Golden Age of Piracy in Port Royal, Jamaica. The experience manages to be both exciting and educational. For my 7-year-old, it was an inspiring deep dive into history, bringing the tales of pirates to life with real artifacts. My 4-year-old daughter was just as engaged, especially with the fantastic interactive exhibits that made sure she was part of the fun. The museum proves it's the perfect place for groups of all ages, keeping everyone entertained and learning simultaneously. We loved every minute of the experience. If you are looking for a unique family outing that will leave your kids feeling inspired to sail the seven seas, this museum is a must-see. We highly recommend it!

Of all the pure museums in St. Augustine, this one has the most interesting artifacts, including coin clusters, movie props, and even the last remaining pirate chest on earth. It's themed well, informative, and interactive, making it great for kids and adults alike. Last time I went, they had a scavenger hunt as well, and its not one of those hunts that are meant to prolong your experience to give the illusion that they have more than they do. If you are in the area and are looking for something fun to do, this would be a great pick.
Dan B — Google review
This was our family’s first trip to St. Augustine and had to stop at the Pirates & Treasure museum. It was fun and interesting to see artifacts and even got to interact in a pirate hunt during the visit. The gift shop had pretty neat souvenirs to purchase and the kids really enjoyed it! We loved being able to see real silver and gold shipwreck treasure and a real pirates chest! Would recommend stopping in!☺️ Staff was really friendly!
Teresa P — Google review
I had a great time at the St. Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum! This place is a total gem for anyone into pirate history or just looking for a fun outing. The collection of over 800 authentic artifacts, like a real pirate treasure chest and a Jolly Roger flag, is seriously impressive. The interactive exhibits, like firing a cannon or exploring the replica pirate ship, make it feel like you’re stepping into the Golden Age of Piracy. The self-guided setup lets you go at your own pace, which I loved, and the info plaques are packed with cool facts about pirates like Blackbeard and Sir Francis Drake. My only gripe is that it can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, wish it was a bit larger, and the gift shop prices are a little high. Still, it’s a super fun and educational spot that’s totally worth checking out .
Brian S — Google review
We’ve struck gold with this place, but I don’t want to hide it from anyone! Really fun time! About $20 for adults without the package for colonial times. We spent about an hour in here taking our time and it was worth it! Lots of interactive fun, educational signage, and cool things to see. There was even a little audio show. The scavenger hunt was an extra bit of fun as well that had us searching all over for the hidden artifacts. A great place to go for all ages. Highly recommend if you’re ever marooned in St. Augustine!
Carter K — Google review
My kids (ages 8 and 10) had a great time at the Pirate Museum! We were able to go through the whole museum in just under an hour, which was the perfect amount of time for them. There’s a guided tour and an audio room available, but since both of my kids are Deaf, those parts weren’t accessible to them. Even so, they still really enjoyed the treasure hunt and all the highly visual and interactive displays. The interactive cannons were definitely their favorite! The staff was very kind and made the experience enjoyable. A fun stop for families visiting St. Augustine.

Potter's Wax Museum, located in St. Augustine, Florida, is a renowned attraction featuring over 160 lifelike wax figures of famous individuals from various eras and fields. Visitors can explore galleries dedicated to Florida History, American History, Ancient History, European History, Science, Arts & Culture, World War II, Government and Celebrities. The museum offers an engaging experience with air-conditioned rooms housing the meticulously crafted wax figures.
A lot of fun for everyone! We visited on a Saturday, quickly bought tickets at the front desk, and went on our way. Celebrated as the nation's oldest wax museum, they make them all in house. From historical figures to fictional, everyone will have a great time. As with everything, parking is paid and either in public lots or elsewhere. There is a slight step up into the museum. Everything is on the first floor for accessibility. Don't forget to look at all the historical medicines in the gift shop area. You'll find lots of pharmacy oddities.

The first and original wax museum that started it all. Miss Rachel gave me a brief intro before I walked around myself. She shared with me about the hundreds of hours it takes that is spent hand making these wax figures. This one, unlike the ones in other places is focused more on historic figures than mainly celebrities. They had people from all over the time line which I thought was cool. There were a few cool spots you could take photos with the figures as well. A few favorites were MLK, Beethoven and Abraham! Really amazing work they do here!

This was one of the stops on the Ghost and Cemetery Stone tour. This was Awesome to see as well as the old jail. We leaned about some Great History about different parts of St Augustines past! We Loved the tour!😊
Tammy D — Google review
This is the oldest wax museum in America, and its ancient roadside attraction history makes amends for its small footprint. And even with that shortcoming, it still beats some of the other wax museums I've visited. It's small but dense. There are a lot of figures crammed together into various sections, and you really have to take your time to comb through them. I personally feel the quality and accuracy of Potter's figures exceed that of the standard wax figure. You don't often find yourself thinking, "I know who that is, but it doesn't really look like them." I also appreciate the free little museum in their lobby. If you are checking out the attractions in St. Augustine, this is a great stop.

Oldest wax museum in the country so that's pretty cool. Outside of that pretty basic but the sculpture did a great job on the subjects. My favorite part was getting into the AC for a few minutes on a summer day in FL..

We thought the girls working on this day were wonderful. We haven't been in 3-4 years, the lay out of the museum changed and a few wax figures added. For us, we spent about 30 minutes.

Mojo Old City BBQ is a laid-back spot where various meats are treated to classic BBQ flavors, all while blues music sets the mood. St. Augustine is known for being pet-friendly, offering numerous activities and dining options for visitors with furry companions. With an array of pet-friendly activities, restaurants, and tourist attractions, St. Augustine stands out as a top choice for those seeking a pet-welcoming destination in Florida.
This place was recommended to me and I thought I'd try it last minute. The food was really good and came out fast The burnt end appetizer was some of the best I've ever had. My wife had the Mojo Club minus the Mojo sauce and she liked it a lot I had the three meat dinner with turkey, hot links, and ribs. The turkey was smoked nicely and had a great flavor. The hot links were different than any I've ever had, which was a nice change. They were more like spicy brats, so I'd say they were better than most. The ribs were better than average, but could use a little more seasoning. Ribs and BBQ in general are subject to individual tastes, so some would probably say they were better than most places. I would agree. The mac and cheese was creamy and had a good flavor. The smoked yellow corn had a great flavor and was fresh. The only real improvement that could be made was the baked pit beans as they were kind of plain and not cooked long enough. Overall, I liked this place a lot and would return if I'm in the area again.

We went here by a suggestion. Well worth it. Burnt Ends were absolutely out of this world. The mashed sweet potatoes were excellent. The Mac and cheese were superb and the collards were delicious. What a wonderful place. Staff were polite and the atmosphere was great. Outdoor seating. Plenty of indoor seating. Nice bar with a lot to choose from. I would suggest going and we will for sure to go back.

We could smell the smoky flavor from outside and just knew we had to come here. Double checked the reviews and everyone is claiming this place is the best, and the are right. The vibes in here a cool, just your average barbecue place. The real kicker is the food! We got the ribs and the brisket and the waitress said it will be out quick. She wasn’t lying, less than 5 minutes later they came out with everything. The meat was absolutely amazing and even the sides were 10/10. They give you a range of about 5 sauces to try and all of them are great. Highly, highly recommend this place if you like anything barbecue. We will definitely be back to this delicious spot in St. Augustine.

First time In st. Augustine. Glad I came here on my first day. The place has great atmosphere and the service was excellent. Super friendly and willing to puree my special needs son’s food. That’s always appreciated since it’s hard to find places that are accommodating for those who need it. The food was delicious. I had the catfish and wow!!! Will recommend this place 💯 times if you’re in the area. Also the black pearl drink is delicious. Prepare to feel tipsy and refreshed all at the same time.

I am NOT a BBQ fan but went to support Big Brothers/Big Sisters of St. Johns County at a fundraiser for kids sake. I had personal friends competing against each other to see who could raise the most tips! My husband and I joined the fun and had a great dinner at the same time. I was able to find a vegetable plate which each vegetable was so good. It came out so hot that I even burned my tongue with the first bite. My husband had ribs, as is common, he said they were amazing. After socializing for a little bit & giving others a chance to utilize our table instead of us staying and just occupying the table, we made a donation on top of our dinner and went on our way. It was a fun night of friendship, competition, love, and laughter for such a great cause. I do have to tell the "waiter staff" that they should keep their jobs, tho!

The Spanish Bakery & Cafe, also known as Salcedo Kitchen, is a charming spot with a rustic ambiance and ample outdoor seating. It boasts a stone oven where they bake Spanish sandwiches, pastries, and savory empanadas. Located in St. Augustine, FL, the bakery has been serving hot bread and fresh pastries for almost 40 years using traditional methods from the city's bustling port days.
I was craving empanadas and I finally found this cute little gem hidden in downtown St. Augustine. Beautiful location, very friendly staff, and the beef empanadas were absolutely delicious!! So flavorful!! I highly recommend!

woman was nice . but over all not worth the price , cuban sandwich isn’t flavorful and it mainly bread and the “empanadas” are sweet, not right at all either . they look like a turtle shell and they’re dry !? and rice and beans are smooshed together and too spicy / no flavor .
Liberty N — Google review
The lady who helped us was so sweet and the service was very good. However, the food was gross. My partner and I ate the caprese sandwich and shared a cinnamon roll, the pastry was super stale and the chicken on the sandwich tasted like it had been soaked in water. We couldn’t finish or even continue eating, and the total for our food was over $40. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was truly a bad experience

We had three flavors of empanada. They were good. Overall everything was good but nothing spectacular. Had some key lime pie as well. It was pretty good. Had some Piccadilly soup also.
Chris E — Google review
This morning with my daughter we just get a couples beef empanadas, 2 chicken and rice soup and cuban sandwich. the empanada had a flavor super sour, I don't know if that was over fermented or super old with a vinegar flavor. Of course it wasn't fresh. Same with the chicken and rice soup, It was cold and had a taste of Parmesan cheese, which it does not have. Nothing was fresh or of good quality. It was the worst $52 I've ever spent. I hope the owners can properly train their employees to sell at least the minimum quality product. Not to mention that everything we bought ended up in the trash, since we weren't sure we would be able to consume the food in that quality.

Love this place. From the most amazing Cuban sandwiches to the spicy and yummy mustard sauce this little eatery is hidden away on Saint George Street. Don’t forget the baked goods too! Sit out side under a cypress tree (way inland for it actually) and enjoy the beautiful florida weather.

From the very first time that my family ate there, around 20 years ago, we were hooked. I've never been a fan of soup, but the soups from here are just amazing. Even as a teen on vacation with my family, this spot was on the list that I wanted to visit every time. Now that I'm an adult, I carry that tradition on, because it's just that good.

Terra & Acqua is a contemporary Italian restaurant located a few blocks from the beach, offering a relaxed atmosphere and modern Northern Italian cuisine. The menu features homemade pasta, fresh seafood, and brick-oven pizzas. The owner-chef emphasizes locally sourced ingredients, particularly abundant seafood from area fishermen. The restaurant's large terrace provides both sunny and shaded seating options. Dishes like fritto misto, gnocchi, and ravioli are highlighted for their rich flavors and saucing.
The best Italian food in Florida!!! Authentic menu items, high quality ingredients coupled with masterful culinary skills make Terra & Aqua really stand above the competition. We left feeling like VIPs. Everything was fantastic-food, service, atmosphere, presentation, attitude. Simply the best! The staff is amazing! Gosia was our server and truly went above and beyond. She took a special drink request that I had (from our last visit to T&A about 1.5 years prior). She had just the right balance of personal and professional interaction. She kept the menu items flowing and engaged us in conversation to keep things lively. Nicky assisted Gosia and asked for feedback on the meal. He did not hesitate to share that our response would only improve his recipes. Much appreciated attitude. We also met the Owner/Chef Simone, who sat with us to check on the meal and also get to know us on a personal level. A very traditional and classy touch. We ordered: 2 drinks (cocktail and wine) Polpettine in Umido (meatball appetizer) Gnocchi Salsiccia Pork chops Profiteole (scrumptious dessert) Diavola Pizza Each dish was just as delicious as the next one. We will be coming back…quite possibly to live here full time.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I cannot understand how it only has a 4.1 rating! The food and the service was excellent. Tasty cocktails. The focaccia was delicious. Very classic and authentic Caesar salad (do wish there was shaved Parmesan). The star was the pizza. We got the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it was the best wood fired pizza I’ve ever had. Truly excellent. I am from Chicagoland and have had my fair share of wood fire pizza and this was top notch! I hope people come here and enjoy because we sure did!

This one really missed the mark for us 👎🏻 Cost $130 including tip. As a St Augustine native, I’ve wanted to try this place for quite some time. After reading the reviews I made an 8PM celebratory dinner reservation for my boyfriend and I. We arrived around 7:50 and were promptly seated, although I asked to be moved as we requested a booth. We were greeted by our waiter and given water almost immediately. He asked for our drink orders as well, and then disappeared for quite some time. My boyfriend pointed out that he was also the bartender so I was trying to give him some grace. Although the majority of the night he was standing over by the pizza oven with most of the staff who all just looked bored. The place was quite empty for a Friday night. He finally returned with my drink but he forgot my boyfriend’s soda, but he wanted to get our appetizer order. I reminded him of the soda, and continued to order the antipasto misto, As well as the Focaccia bread basket. After putting in our appetizers, he told us that the board would be missing some things because they were out of olives, as well as mushrooms. He also mentioned they were out of steak, ribeye, as well as lobster. “Most of the meats” he said. As more time passed (roughly 30 mins) we considered leaving money on the table and and going home as NO ONE had come to our table to give us any updates. Once finally brought the board, and I asked him to go ahead and take our entree order. I ordered the gnocchi gorgonzola and my boyfriend ordered the tagliatelle pasta. We also got a pizza for the table. We figured the pizza would take some time so we snacked on our board and he finally brought out our main entrées. As he set the entrées down, he asked if we still wanted to order the pizza or if we wanted to “wait some time “. My thought was maybe so they would be able to close early? It was very strange. The Gocchi was cold, doughy, bland and had barely any cream sauce throughout the dish. The tagliatelle was atrocious, it tasted ‘spoiled’ in my opinion. The pizza was then brought out, which we weren’t a fan of either. The dough was light and airy, cooked nicely on the bottom. But again the sauce was AWFUL. The arugula tasted rancid like it was old, and for being fresh out of the oven the pizza was barely luke warm. So disappointed, and our celebration dinner was ruined.

Took my family here to celebrate. Two people in our party got the chicken dinner, with asparagus and mashed potatoes. One of the plates was fine and very good. The other plate was either not chicken meat or rotten chicken. When we brought it to our waitresses attention she brought out an extra side dish to rectify it without taking it off the bill or a discount. Food that isn't rotten is mid and not worth the price.

We love this place and have to say that the interior "fresh up" is very nice. We had the pear salad - delicious, the pork chops - perfectly cooked and tasty, and the salmon. Food would have received 5 stars but the broccolini was tough (tasted good but the stems were not edible). Our server Justin was fantastic.

We found this place by chance and walked away pleasantly surprised. They were very busy when we walked up(we had reservations) and it took a minute to be seated. The service was on point(Thanks Ryan) and every suggestion he made was great! I had the gnocchi and spicy sausage, the wife had the lobster ravioli and we shared foccacia appetizer. The food was amazing the drinks were spot on and the service amazing. Please hit this place up; you will not be disappointed.
