Nestled just a few blocks from The Ice Plant, San Sebastian Winery is a delightful local gem that invites visitors to explore the art of winemaking in St. Augustine. This vibrant winery offers complimentary tastings and guided tours, showcasing their impressive selection of wines crafted from grapes sourced in northern and central Florida. Among their offerings are classic varietals like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside unique blends made from Muscadine grapes—an iconic Southern variety known for its rich flavor profile.
Great atmosphere, loved the setting. The employee was knowledgeable and very informative. We tasted 5 different wines, all very good, and we found our favorite. All the sweet wine is made with grapes from Florida. We ended up buying 4 bottles of wine. My husband and I had a great time there and if you have guests from out of town I definitely recommend as well.
Anca D — Google review
One of my faves in all of FL; I love the sister winery in Clermont as well. Made the drive to pick up our fave bourbon - infused wine from San Sebastián. We arrived pretty late and were thankful the folks let us shop for our wine! To make the drive from Jax worth the while we checked out the restaurant upstairs and it did not disappoint at all. Food was excellent. Wonderful and welcoming service, our waiter was friendly and offered great conversation.
Kailah K — Google review
I love this place! I have wanted to visit them for a while because I knew some of the grapes were grown right here in Florida. I'm so glad I finally had the opportunity. The tasting assistants are very knowledgeable & ready to answer any question. For instance, during my tasting experience, I learned the Ruby Port is aged in whiskey barrels the come from the distillery up the road. How cool is that?

San Sebastian Winery Review – St. Augustine, FL This was my second visit to San Sebastian Winery, and it did not disappoint. For just a $5 tasting fee, this is absolutely a must-stop when in St. Augustine. During this visit, I sampled several wines: the Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Rosa, Vintner's White, Vintner's Red, and the Ruby Port. While I typically lean toward dry reds, the Rosa was the standout for me. Made from native Floridian Muscadine grapes, it far exceeded my expectations. These grapes often get a bad rap, but I was pleasantly surprised—this wasn’t just good “for a sweet wine,” it was genuinely enjoyable and ended up being my favorite of the bunch. Fun fact: the incredibly popular Erie, Pennsylvania band Ruby Port took their name from San Sebastian’s very own Ruby Port wine. Although we didn’t get the chance to check out the upstairs restaurant, the outdoor seating area looked very inviting and relaxing. I’ll definitely plan to explore more on my next visit. Highly recommend!

Not my first time at a winery, but my first time to San Sebastian and it was great. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was a nice mix of wine tasting, history lesson, and camaraderie. On-site wine available for purchase or shipping. They had discounts on buying 4 bottles, 6 bottles, and cases. (20% discount on a case is fantastic.) My girlfriend and I drove from Lake City (about 2 hours away) to come here and we were not disappointed. We drank delicious wine, learned about Florida wine and muscadine grapes, we talked with people on the tour with us, and we chatted up the sommelier-level staff and just had a wonderful time. Highly recommend, great for a date night, or a night out with friend.
Michael D — Google review
The tour is a cheap price; however, I didn’t complete it. You first watch a video about 20 minutes that’s like a time share video. Once we were about 10 minutes into the video, a gaggle of people with 2 noisy kids were let it. Next, we went into the barrel tasting room. The children were shrieking and yelling they didn’t want to be there (why would they?) When I said I couldn’t hear the tour guide explaining what we were drinking, the mom started cursing me out. Rather than engage, I left. I was annoyed that kids were let into the tasting rooms without supervision.
Linda F — Google review
Had the best time here! Learned a lot about the place, toured with Mike, he was great, and got to taste all the wines. We also did the extra tasting with Charlene and she was just wonderful and really a highlight of our whole experience! Highly recommend stopping by this place!
Brittany B — Google review
Lots of cool things to purchase. We like sweet so we tasted the Vittners red and white. We went home with a bottle of white. Don't forget to check out the restaurant upstairs.

Carrera Wine Cellar is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts. This local wine bar and shop offers an immersive experience for tastings, retail, and light dining. The cellar handpicks fine wines from the industry, allowing visitors to taste before purchasing their perfect bottle to take home. Monthly events feature new wines represented by their makers or staff members. Additionally, blind wine tastings and classes are available for those looking to expand their knowledge.
This such a special spot, great place for locals and the word is out. We went on a Thursday night and it was busy. They have fantastic wine options, great wines to appeal to wine connoisseurs that know wine. The charcuterie was plentiful and you pick 5 cheeses and they serve with meats, bread and little snacks. We had the pretzel last time we went and .. oh my, so yummy! I could see this being a regular spot for us. 🍷 We are doing dinner this weekend in Saint Augustine so this will be a pre-game spot for us for wine and snacks before dinner!
Cristie K — Google review
We absolutely LOVE Carrera! The wine selection, classes, and most importantly the staff are amazing! It is truly our favorite place in St. Augustine.

Great little afternoon outing. Charcuterie board was excellent and filling. The wine flights were top notch across the board. And, thanks to Bob for the great tour and enduring my reminiscence of Johnson’s Fruit Stand.

Just wanted to freshen my review. Wish I could give them 10 Stars! This week we had the pleasure of doing a private German Wine Tasting. From start to finish the owner Jess, Joe, Carol, Marci and all the staff were just amazing. They set up a wonderful tasting with the best snacks. It was so fun to share this time with friends that enjoy learning about wine and want to have fun! Amazing wine that we might never had tasted if we had not done this tasting. I have a new appreciation for German wine and a deeper appreciation for my friends at Carrera Wine room. We have enjoyed being members of the Carrera Wine Club. Always great wine and excellent company. Their tastings are always high quality and very fun and educational. You can’t beat their customer service and care for their customers.

We love going to Carrera Wine Cellar! The staff is so amazing and personable! They are so helpful and always so happy to help us when trying to select one of the amazing selections of wine they have! There is so much to choose from! The atmosphere is filled with the most beautiful wine and the most wonderful people! Whether it be a girls day or a cute little date night! We love it there!

Wonderful place to purchase wine, learn about wine, and meet friends. Conveniently located. The menu offers something for everyone with a great selection of meats and cheeses. Don’t skip the Bavarian pretzel with homemade beer cheese. The patio in back is a perfect setting for getting together with friends!
Deborah S — Google review
I love this place!! It is everything that you’re looking for, If you wanna bring your laptop and work in peace, it’s perfect if you want to socialize with delicious wine and cheese, they have a little bit of mess of everything. I highly recommend this place and it’s not too busy.
John C — Google review
This little wine bar has it all. Fun classes, wine tastings, and specials. Stop in and sample a wine flight, try a fresh made sangria, but a bottle of your favorite vino to take home or stay a while and drink it there while you listen to live music. This family run business is so welcoming and you get to know the staff and regulars the more you go. If the weather is nice don’t miss the wine patio out back. Or lounge on the cozy couches and play a board game. Seriously can’t say how much I enjoy this bar.

The Saint Augustine Distillery is a working distillery located in a restored ice plant dating back to the early 1900s. Visitors can take free guided tours to learn about the art of distilling and the history of Old Florida, with exhibits showcasing artifacts from the past. The distillery produces award-winning spirits such as whiskey, rum, gin, and vodka using age-old techniques in copper pot stills. The tour also includes information about the building's former life as an ice manufacturing plant.
St. Augustine Distillery Review This was my third time visiting the St. Augustine Distillery, and it continues to be an enjoyable and worthwhile stop—and best of all, it’s free! The self-guided tour includes four tasting stations. I didn’t grab photos of all of them and can’t recall every name, but I do remember sampling a Mule, an Old Fashioned mix, and what I believe was a Grapefruit Hibiscus blend. All four were delicious. The tour is short, informative, and fun. The staff is friendly, and the overall vibe is welcoming. While the free tasting doesn’t include their gin, I highly recommend trying it at the bar—it’s remarkably smooth. There’s also a full bar on site where you can purchase cocktails, and a restaurant attached to the building that I haven’t tried yet, but maybe next time. If you're in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit—whether it's your first time or your third.
Gregory P — Google review
Best Distillery Experience in Florida! Yep another non-food review! What a blast! From the first sip to the last, this place knows how to deliver an experience. The rum, gin, and vodka samples were great — but the bourbon? Absolute favorite. And The Saint… wow. Hands-down the star of the show. Dominick was our guide and he crushed it — friendly, funny, and clearly loves what he does. He made the whole tour feel like we were hanging out with a friend who just happens to know everything about spirits. The classroom is gorgeous and super organized, which made learning as fun as the tasting. I’m already planning my next trip — certification, here I come! You're in the St Augustine area, stop by and as always, tell them we sent you!
Billy ( — Google review
This distillery is known for its famous bourbon. We stopped by and took a FREE self-guided tour which includes 4 cocktail samples. It took us about 45min-an hour to get thru with reading info provided. The staff were friendly and obviously love their jobs. They were fun to talk to about the history. After you done you could go for more tasting. The parking are on the side of the building sharing with the restaurant.
Wind N — Google review
My son and I toured the distillery while traveling through Saint Augustine and had a fantastic time! The tour was extremely engaging and informative, we learned a lot, all the employees were extremely friendly in each room had a different tasting. It was a lot of fun. We actually wind up buying several pieces of merchandise in the shop before leaving. If you are in the area, it is a free tour and a lot of fun. Definitely add it to your list!
Jeanine K — Google review
Awesome experience where we complete the self guided tour. I was surprised to find it was really free, including the free sample taste of 4 of their house made cocktails. These included a Florida Mule, Essential Tonic, Old Fashion, and Tropical Tiki Mix. These were all made with their own brand Vodka, Gin, Rum and Bourbon usiung thier very own, in house made, all natural Mixers respectively. At the end of the tour, I was surprised that the final taste station provides a taste of each spirit straight up. Also, you may choose to purchase a taste of their premier Bourbon Whiskey for $10. It's worth mentioning these are all 1/2 ounce serving but enough to help you make up your mind on your favorites.
Gilbert D — Google review
I’ve been coming here since shortly after they opened in 2013 and somehow they manage to outdo themselves each time. Today, we did the bourbon tasting tour. Dominick was amazing! We learned a lot, tried some incredible bourbon, and had a great time.
Kristi A — Google review
I'd give this tour SIX stars if I could. Dominick led the Bourbon Tasting tour we scheduled, and was beyond amazing! We had a blast, learned a bunch, sampled some things, and learned all about the process, both in the classroom and on the production floor. HIGHLY recommend this tasting!
Geoff M — Google review
Nice distillery. Didn't went for the tour but went to the store and they had plenty of stuff! Sadly, our lugage was too heavy to grab a bottle of rhum but i got a bag of pecan with rhum. Will go back if i'm in town to try the drinks!

La Cocina at the Cellar Upstairs is an elegant dining option located at Castillo Real, offering Latin-inspired American cuisine and an extensive wine list. The restaurant is situated on the rooftop of San Sebastian Winery and features locally inspired wine and cheese pairings, as well as a menu with salads, handhelds, and light bites.
La Cocina at the Cellar Upstairs (San Sebastian Winery) 10/10! Brought us in early before our reservation, the service and staff were amazing and the food was delicious and phenomenal! Lobster bisque, escargot, Chilean sea bass and shrimp pork belly tortellini was fantastic. Surprise birthday dessert to top it all off. After we enjoyed drinks outside with live music. Before dinner, we did the wine tour before hand to make a little date night out of it. Highly recommend!
Madison L — Google review
During our visit from Maryland, we received a warm welcome, marked by friendly smiles and positive attitudes. The $5 tour and tasting proved to be an exceptional value, resulting in the purchase of six high-quality wines and a port. Our tour guide, DJ, provided outstanding service.
Christopher J — Google review
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The service was good. I appreciated the little thoughtful details, like putting our names on the reservation card. The food was good, especially the lobster biscuit! We had Seafood platter, shrimp itself was not tasty but the broth was good. The only downsides were that they didn’t offer custom drinks—for example, I ordered a martini with gin but was only given the standard drink menu—and the menu has changed, but the website hasn’t been updated.
Carmen Q — Google review
We went for my birthday and I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! Everything was great and food was even better. The Blood In The Water drink was delicious. The lobster bisque and ceviche were both Devine! I didnt like the duck personally but my husband loved the short ribs. My server was great and helpful with the menu. 5 stars all around.
Avriel C — Google review
Delightful staff. Awful food. Ridiculous prices for the quality. Ordered their signature shrimp dish, the duck, filet mignon and Brie appetizer. Only the steak was acceptable. The shrimp dish had an off taste. The Brie dish was nothing, and I've never had tougher duck. For the three of us with no alcohol, I paid $207. Never again. Never.
Shawn B — Google review
Sebastian & crew always do an amazing job. Lunch was absolutely spectacular the other day. Pictured is the shrimp & crab salad over greens & fresh avocado, as well as the shrimp & pork belly po boy! Absolutely amazing!
Rachael G — Google review
First time at the rooftop. They have a new craft cocktail menu with fresh pressed, locally-made mixers that are absolutely phenomenal. The Don Norberto is a poetic reference to Chef Norberto’s father, and a beautifully balanced and well crafted spin on the classic espressotini with an iconic marshmallow foam. Throw in a cheese board and it’s a day to remember for the girlies! Great chill spot before date night inside as well.
Alex P — Google review
I am amazed at not only the quality of the food but the service. It has been years since I have had the quality of food and service provided by an establishment. I will become a regular customer of this place moving forward.

Went for a book reading. Everything was fabulous! Great service from the owners. They are incredibly knowledgeable about all the wines. Love that they paired the wines with the excerpts from the book. Huge tent covered the outdoor space and had quiet fans keeping everyone cool. It kept the ground dry and kept for an intimate affair for 60+ people. Can not wait to return. Especially for their wine walk night.

The night scene is great. The live band was amazing. Big respect to the guitarist. I only rate the food as average because didn't getting a chance to try any of yet. The menu selection is simple but perfect for the atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and quick to acknowledge you.

Derek was our server, phenomenal suggestions and conversation. Beautiful outdoor seats. Trees, plants, flowers-laid back nature setting in the middle or town. Has 3 wonderful cheese witj the duck prosciutto charcuterie board, as well as the grape leaves. Aperol spritz and Island 57 for drinks. Would recommend all and would order same again. Live music was funny and laid back. Lovely time.

Had the opportunity to sample some wine and a. Charcuterie board here thanks to a walking tasting tour called Cork's and Forks hosted by Rob. We had a chance to try a selection of tasting wines and then with our chosen glass, sat down to a very nice charcuterie board. The staff were so nice and helpful, and we were both introduced to the caperberry and olive oil almonds. So tasty, and a nice stop on our tour. Thank you!

This charming place was such a lovely stop on our 4-day visit. The beautiful owner was so knowledgeable about every bottle of wine on her shelves and helped us choose the perfect bottle (okay, TWO bottles). We went back a couple days later and found a comfy table under under the shade of the giant oaks after dinner at a nearby eatery and enjoyed an elegant dessert of a shared rum cake. And another glass of wine. Our server, Derek, a very sweet and friendly young man, made us feel like old friends. And he's cute. I highly recommend you stop into this place if you find yourself in St. Augustine and ask Derek why we nicknamed him Wolfie. Loved this place.

So impressed! My gf and I had a magical night here. The vegan cheese board is amazing. The stuffed grapes leaves are heavenly. The service is top notch. Extensive wine list. And all of that in a quaint and beautiful garden setting. I wish I lived here so that I could come back again and again and again. Treat yourself!

This is a great venue for listening to music. Check out the wine collection as you will find some bottles that are hard to find and at a reasonable cost. If you like wine, talk with the owner since if he very knowledgeable and can tell you a lot about the different wines

St Francis Inn Bed and Breakfast is a historic 1791 B&B located in the heart of St. Augustine's Historic District. The inn offers a variety of accommodations including main-house rooms, suites, a carriage house room, and a five-room cottage, all exuding a serene atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a delicious Southern breakfast buffet as well as complimentary amenities such as all-day hot chocolate, tea, and coffee.
My wife and I have always wanted to go to St.Augustine and the St.Francis Inn was a wonderful and historic place to stay for our wedding anniversary. The staff were all friendly and the food they provided were great! The inn is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to many different attractions so the location is solid. The only heads up I can give is that if it's the rainy hurricane season please be mindful that the streets can flood. We stayed in Miss Lily's room and it was cozy. We did experience something paranormal in the room, but nothing malicious. I highly recommend the St.Francis Inn and would be down to stay there again whenever we visit St.Augustine.
Nick P — Google review
This B&B is so quaint and homey feeling. There is always something to eat available ( fruit, cookies, breakfast, happy hour, and dessert time). The staff as well as the other guests are so thoughtful and friendly. The location is walkable to the Oldest House which is a hop on hop off trolly pickup ( highly recommend the trolly too). The room was comfy and cozy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the clawfoot tub is impossible to get in or out of and the shower curtain is always under foot because it’s to long. The shower did have great water pressure and we never ran out of hot water. We were in the Courtyard room. I hear Marie’s room is just as great as the courtyard room, but has a walk-in shower with a hand held shower nozzle. We will book that room next time. The inn is very quiet and free parking is just across the street. We parked our car and used the hop on hop off trolly the entire visit. I highly recommend this inn.

Stayed here for our 5 year anniversary. It was incredible to spend the night at the oldest inn in Florida! It sits within the oldest neighborhood in the city, full of gorgeous streets, old trees and beautiful architecture from the 1700s. They offered complementary drinks and dessert the night we arrived, and the next morning we enjoyed the daily rotating menu of breakfast items that were hot and delicious. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was clean, neat and full of anything you may need during your stay. Thank y'all for the hospitality!!

We had such a wonderful stay at the St. Francis Inn! We were in the Courtyard Room, which was cozy and comfortable, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. From the delicious desserts in the evening to the hearty, homemade breakfast in the morning, everything was just perfect. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, every single person we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is also unbeatable; we were able to walk everywhere and really enjoy the charm of St. Augustine without needing the car. And for all that you get, the price is fantastic. Highly recommend this gem of a bed and breakfast. We’ll definitely be back!
Mariela M — Google review
I'd give more stars if I could! The the attention to detail and top notch hospitality made our weekend! The staff was so fun to chat with and could not have been more helpful. We stayed in the balcony room. The room was very clean and cozy and the balcony was perfect for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything but on a pretty, quiet street. All sorts of little treats like the bikes being available to guests, cream sherry, delicious evening desserts (i think homemade!), and a good balance of grab and go breakfast or sit down breakfast options. We will definitely make this an annual weekend getaway spot.

My son and I stayed at the St. Francis Inn recently in Lily’s room. Everything was excellent. The Inn is gorgeous and the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. They offer several amenities and really went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Everything is so clean and beautiful. I am definitely going to return!

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend at the Inn. We loved so much about this Inn. It is located on a very quiet Oak tree lined street. Our room was very comfortable with an amazing bed, eclectic antique furnishings and a bathroom with really nice toiletries. The homemade breakfast and cookies were all delicious and the staff was very accommodating and helpful.

My husband and I came for our Honeymoon on Oct 12th and 13th. We had a wonderful time we stayed in Lillys room on the 3rd floor. Food was so good, and I loved the desserts. Staff was so friendly. The inn is also in walking distance to all the local attractions, food and shops. Diffanintly recommend. I can't wait for our next visit!!

City Gate Spirits is a distillery located near the City Gates of St. Augustine, offering small-batch liquors that capture the essence of Florida. Their range includes smooth moonshines and tropical rums, with standout flavors like Pineapple Rum, Apple Pie Moonshine, and Salted Caramel Whiskey.
Amazing experience! Right in the middle of Saint Augustine, this place is charming, affordable and a lot of fun! The tasting is $5 which they give you back in a coupon voucher, which you can stack if you’re in a group. The tasting was very entertaining, we had a great bartender (Keely) who explained the different flavors in a fun way. I would say the experience is very memorable - a must if you’re in the area and want to try something new. We tried other wine/spirit tastings in the area and I would say this was my favorite by far, mostly for the fun factor. Both in the staff and the playfulness of the mixes. 10/10 would repeat!

I love this place! They have a very low cost spirit tasting. I've been here 3 times to show my friends and family and Vera has been an amazing guide to show us the amazing whiskeys, rums and moonshines this brewery provides. Everything made in house. I recommend this to any adult who enjoys adult beverages and wants to have a fun time.

Awesome experience! We LOVED every minute of our tasting! Our bartender was so kind, friendly and had a good personality which made it fun! The tasting is $5, but they give you a $5 off coupon for their store so it’s essentially free. They also have super cute stickers in the gift shop that an employee designs himself. We will be doing this again next time we’re in town!
Rachel B — Google review
We had a super fun experience! Shoutout to Vera, our bartender! It was just $5 tastings and we got to taste 10 different liquors. 5 in-house whiskeys, 1 rum and 4 moonshines. My personal favorites were salted caramel whiskey, orange cream moonshine and the ‘surprise’ one in the end 😬
Kalyanee S — Google review
We did the $5 per person tasting and we had the most wonderful host Keeley! She made the tour energetic, informative, and so much fun it BLEW my mind we were getting all this value for only $5. This is a MUST for everyone planning a trip to St.Augustine! The attached picture is the bar where the tastings are held at!

We recently visited St. Augustine and the City Gate Distillery. I wasn't looking for a tasting, but rather a good souvenir. The peach whiskey caught my eye and they were very sweet to offer me a tiny taste. It was delicous! It's the perfect summer evening whiskey. Bought a bottle and glass to bring back to our cabinet on the gulf coast. I highly recommend checking out City Gate Spirits.

Shout out to Jillian for the amazing presentation - each spirit was discussed & I absolutely love the cocktail recipe suggestions! I highly recommend The Coconut Rum, Apple Pie Moonshine, & Peach Whiskey... but my heart goes to the Mango Datil Whiskey & my wallet went to the Apple Pie mixer, lol. Cheers!

We are from Orlando so we come to St Augustine quite often but we have only been here once before. This is the best distillery in St Augustine we even like it better than the ones in TN. El served us and she was amazing. Not only was she knowledgeable about all the spirits she had so many great ideas on fun drinks to make with them. She was so fun, friendly, entertaining and just a joy to talk to. Thank you El we will definitely be back bc of you

What an incredible experience! The owner was there and she is seriously so awesome! We did a tasting, had signature cocktails, and took a bottle home because it was just SO GOOD! It was personable and she was so informative! I learned a lot while having such a wonderful time! Would absolutely recommend!!!

Great place, Susan is lovely! Nice intimate setting, chill vibe, very clean! Did some tastings and purchased the Kookaburra Coffee Liqueur. The coconut was also fantastic. Highly recommend the kooki martini, which features the coffee liqueur. Will definitely come back again next time we visit St Augustine.

Had a great tasting experience and was shocked at how good their juice was. I bought bottles and would definitely come here the next time I'm in town. A must go to place if you like spirits. Even their whiskey and bourbon were solid and unique.

This is one place you don't want to miss out on stopping at.I love the great vibes, and some damn good drinks. All star Susan here was very informative on all the drinks, and I suggest on tasting the Dragons Kiss for those who like some fire in there whiskey🔥😋😋. The wife and I decided on buying a bottle of their Orange Liqueur, which is really tasty btw . I definitely suggest stopping ar Sailbird Distilling and trying out their drinks.

What a hidden gem! The establishment is so cute and the drinks are phenomenal. The owner gave us the background on Sailbird and it’s probably one of my new favorite hangouts in Saint Augustine. I’m so happy I stopped in on a random Sunday night! Wishing you all positive vibes ✨❤️

Small watering hole. We did some research beforehand and quite honestly we were psyched to go there to sample an advertised bottle, which was promoted on the website. The website promoted this Bourbon with camel, toffee, vanilla, smoke and chocolate. Right up our alley. Sadly when we got there, the bartender, very nice, admitted they didn't have it and they really need to update their website. A little disappointing. Three samples are free and we tried their Found Whiskey, Dragon's Kiss and 4 year aged rum. The Dragon's Kiss is with Honey Habanero Flavoring. Interesting flavor profile. They have bottles which are 1x spice and 3x spice. We tried both and ended up liking and buying a bottle of the 1x. The 3x spice was not terribly hotter than the 1x but the heat hung around your mouth and throat longer than what we would have cared for. Nice place, did not sample any cocktails, worth one visit if in the area, but would not make a special trip.

Outdoor dining on the balcony was so lovely. The view was someone that will always stay with me. Our server was very attentive, drinks were delicious. And the food was hot and tasty. Had a blast. Also has live music in the bar downstairs which was cool. I would go back again.

We were looking forward to this place as it came highly recommended by a friend. The service was fine. The atmosphere is nice, especially if seated by a window or outside with great views. The food, however, the nachos, were bland and definitely not enough chips for the amount of topping. Fisherman platter and shrimp dinner... let me start with the good. It was cooked perfectly. However, the breading did not have much flavor by itself. The coleslaw... I'm not sure what happened, but we both thought it was inedible. Honestly, the most tasty things were the fries and the cocktail sauce, one of the best cocktail sauce I've tried. If we ever return and try new items, I will update the review.

Fantastic service and fantastic view from upstairs balcony. Emily our server was on top of it. Drinks were prompt and tasty. Great selection of house cocktails and craft beers combined, something you don't often see. Had the Paella for 2, a house salad with beer cheese soup, a Mediterranean Salad with Ahi Tuna and a Blackened Fish Sandwich. Overall the food was good. The beer cheese soup was oily and the fish portion of the fish sandwich was malnourished. It should have been bigger. Using "reservations" is a bit of a misleading substitute for priority seating. And while the wait was minimal, it was still a case of putting us back into the queue. So a star lost there for the above items. But otherwise a fun experience with great service, plenty of good seating options, fantastic views and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Went in on a Saturday around 3:30. As we waited for our table at the bar, the bartender served us immediately. Great drinks. When seated at a table the waitress took about 20 minutes to come take our orders. Thankfully we still had our drinks from the bar while waiting for her as we looked at the menu. When she arrived she took our orders. We got the fried shrimp appetizer that came out in 5-10 minutes. As we waited for our entrees, within 20 minutes the waitress came by to tell us it would be a little longer for our food and offered to bring us a basket of bread while we waited. The bread came out and was hot but very hard on the outside. Our entrees finally came and were very tasty. I got the shrimp tacos and my boyfriend got the jambalaya. He said it was so good just a lot of grease at the bottom. Overall would not come back on a Saturday but any other day for the good food and drinks.
Marissa S — Google review
Great place, very nice bar and restaurant upstairs, old school bar on the ground floor. Good selection of beer, approximately 25 taps. Food is good, we had the Jambalaya, just the right amount of spice. Service was great. They only do one 5 beer flight, "Florida Flight", no substitutions. They are pretty good about letting you taste a few before you order. Good stop!

This is a great brewery right in Downtown St. Augustine! It’s two floors so they’ve got plenty of seating so hopefully you won’t have to wait long for a table if they’re busy. We sat on the second floor patio. Our waitress was really nice and attentive to us. I only got appetizers since I wasn’t all that hungry. I got the Calamari and the Pretzels with beer cheese. Both were insanely good! The pretzels were hot and fresh, the calamari was crispy, and the beer cheese was good! Overall, I’ll definitely make a stop here again.
The F — Google review
Busy place with good service, spirit-ful drinks, delicious food and beautiful views. Tasty apps, especially the artichoke dip. The tuna dishes are incredible, the shrimp and grits was good but a bit dry. They have paper straws which I understand but hateeee. The bar is downstairs and they had live music which wasn't as loud upstairs where the restaurant is and it gives it a good vibe 👍
Sergio M — Google review
The shrimp and grits is more like bacon and grits. Barely any sauce and more bacon than shrimp. Extremely disappointed with their food. This was my second time there and again another disappointment. :-( Their nachos were okay. The waiter that served me on the balcony was nice. An expensive experience for not good food.

The Ice Plant Bar is a trendy establishment located in a restored 1927 industrial building that used to produce ice for local shrimpers. The bar offers a sophisticated ambiance, with a menu featuring locally sourced dishes and seasonal cocktails. Renovated to evoke the feel of an old factory, the bar's focus is on crafting its own sodas, juices, and syrups while using small-batch spirits from local distilleries whenever possible.
It is such a neat place to enjoy a farm to table meal! The food was incredible, the service was exceptional, and the drinks were handcrafted. If you have kids, don't let that discourage you from going. We were able to leave our stroller downstairs, and they had a high chair and kids menu available. There is also an outdoor patio. We tried the burger and the Caesar salad, with watermelon lemonade and lavender lemonade to wash it down. 5/5!
Andrea K — Google review
Loved everything about this place! The decor was interesting with a fun atmosphere, and great customer service from Jasmine! My cocktail (Waiting in Vain) was tasty and refreshing. We started by sharing the Lil Gems Caesar…best caesar I have ever had, the olive tapenade made the dish. I loved every part of the Skillet Fried Chicken & Hoecakes! The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the hoecakes were so delicious (loved the apricot butter!). My husband also loved the burger and cocktail (Dazed and Confused). Would highly recommend!
Carrie G — Google review
I would recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, though the main course was not to my liking and the rest of our order wasn’t the best. The drink also wasn’t to my taste, and while sitting near the bar I had to wait a bit since the bartender stepped away. The restaurant is located above the distillery, which adds a unique touch. Facilities were clean, parking was convenient, and the area was very chic and well-kept. Overall, I really enjoyed the location.

Great place to stop in St. Augustine. The restaurant is in the same building as the St. Augustine distillery so you can do 2 things at once. Awesome space in original ice house setting. Unique menu featuring locally produced ingredients. I had the 2 egg offering that had their homemade bread. The meal was fantastic. When you're done eating, take the distillery tour & sample their bourbon & gin.

No reservations required.Tried the crab beignet, pimento cheese & bread, burger , fish of the day. Everything was well seasoned and delicious made from scratch. Cocktails were great and balanced. Service was attentive. Love the historical aspects of the industrial building. Really enjoy that it’s off the beaten path. If in St. Augustine I recommended this restaurant.

I got the special fried snapper over dirty rice in May and haven't stopped thinking about it since. It might be the best meal I've ever had! Love that this place is open late, we bring friends here all the time.
Kristen S — Google review
The food? It's awesome. But everything wants to be 'fancy,' when my preference is for simple food, prepared exceptionally well. They DO prepare their foods exceptionally well. We had a large group, and everyone was pleased with the food. The drinks? OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! You will not top this in NE FL, and you might not top it anywhere. Sam was our bartender while we waited for our table, and he created some custom bourbon drink magic for us, even demonstrating some ice techniques that were absolutely fascinating. I can't say enough about Sam, nor about the drinks we got - absolutely fantastic in every way!

Fantastic and delicious. The Grateful Fruit sangria 👍, and the bruschetta and caprese on point as well. Server Jess friendly and attentive. A little pricey , sure, but the food was amazing AND this IS a tourist town. Also, a fun balcony to people watch from. Thank you!
Brad M — Google review
Not my typical to leave a “not so good review” but there is always a few times. This by far was not a good experience… we had the Spanish Burrito (taste like Taco Bell), the crab cake (mush cake and did not have that crab authenticity taste) and the red pepper humus which came out with tortilla chips instead of pita chips. The hummus was probably the best of the three things we ordered. Plenty of seating and our server was nice and attentive but the food made it a not so nice experience and a will not come back to. You would think the name sangria and tapas would bring authenticity to the table in St Augustine’s heart of a historical area… well it wasn’t the case! Very disappointed Dr.Collazo
Dr C — Google review
Mediocre drink in a place where the chef took off on a Saturday night. People watching was good. Had to remind server for water and one of their signature drinks didn’t taste like it was written on the menu. Garnish was wrong, too. Hard to find the entrance, wish food was present to potentially redeem this night.
Amy W — Google review
We’ve been coming to this wine bar for years and have always enjoyed it—until now. On our most recent visit, we were shocked by how poorly we were treated. We asked to sit on the outdoor patio, where we’ve sat before, but were told that because we had four people, we were not allowed. Even though we agreed to sit at two tops separate tables and not move chairs. This makes absolutely no sense, especially for loyal, long-time customers and we had highly recommended this establishment to our friend. We’ve supported this place for years and have brought friends in the past, but apparently that loyalty doesn’t matter. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt dismissed and embarrassed. Our friends went back to their hotel on Anastasia Island and we went back to try to sit outside again, two of us, and we were asked if we had any more people coming and we’re treated poorly once again. Unfortunately, after this experience, we won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other wine bars that actually value their customers.
Avery P — Google review
Great location! Menu/food presentation kinda changed since my last visit. Sangrias are a must have, 1, 2 or 3! Appz kinda let me down a bit but for the price. Love the upstairs and sitting on the banister outside.
Raymond C — Google review
The sangria is tasty. The location great for people watching. The prices are super high for food considering what you get. Don’t get the ceviche. You’ll be disappointed. Go to Casa Maya for that instead.
Caitlin R — Google review
Beautiful little place upstairs with tapas and drinks. Our server Jess was very nice and helpful. The caprese salad food was ok. Crab cakes very tasty, didn't need the salad which was overkill. The cheese plate could have used some more cheese, and other accoutrements for the price.
John M — Google review
I know tapas translates to small plates but a small plate for a platter price? The food was great but very little for price. $34 for a pitcher of sangria that had four 4oz servings and as far as I could tell, zero alcohol content. The only positive I can give it is the balcony.

Located in the historic district, this hidden gem serves up classic French dishes with a modern twist. The menu features starters, mains, brunch options, and charcuterie boards paired with an impressive selection of beer and wine.
This might be my favorite restaurant/wine bar in St. Augustine. The food is always amazing and when the weather gets cooler it's amazing to sit out back outside. The wine is always amazing. The beef beef bourguignon might be the best dish I've had in a long time. Sea bass is amazing. I've never had a bad meal in the four times I visited here. Overall, I was highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

We had an amazing experience, everything was just perfect, from the atmosphere to the food and service. Highly recommend! Foie gras was delicious, the sea bass was the best I had in a long time! Roasted duck leg very tender and flavorful! They do a really good job! 👍🏻

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Ask for Tiffany!!! Tiffany was one of the best servers we have ever had, and we come to St. Augustine at least once or twice a year. This was our first time at the Drunken Horse and we have always wanted to eat here. This will definitely be on our list to come back to each and every time we visit. We had the escargo to start and it was amazing!!! My son and I had a hard time deciding what to order so we both ordered entrees and shared them. We got the sea bass and the shrimp. They were both to die for! And of course we couldn't leave without having the creme brulee for dessert. It was one of the best creme bruleles I've ever had in my life. The Ambiance and this restaurant is like no other. It has such a good vibe and everyone that works there is super friendly. Tiffany made our night so memorable! It was our last meal of our trip and we cannot wait to come back! A+++

We celebrated our 46th anniversary at The Drunken Horse in St. Augustine and were thoroughly impressed. The service, led by Roderick, was warm and attentive. We started with the fig and prosciutto salad—an unusual and delicious combo. My wife had the risotto pea soup, which was delicately flavored and generously portioned. I had the Confit de Canard—a duck leg with garlic mashed potatoes and port sauce—that was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The crème brûlée with raisin topping was a great finish. Good wine, reasonable prices, and a nice range of entrée options. A great place for French cuisine—we look forward to coming back!

This is honestly my favorite French restaurant I've found. They have a great atmosphere. There is inside seating and outside seating. I prefer outside as it is quieter. The food is also divine. The charcuterie plate was tasty The triple cream brie was so creamy. For the main, I had the duck confit. The duck was definitely the the highlight of the meal! It's skin was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. It was laid on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes. For the desert, you cant go wrong with creme brulee.
Isaac W — Google review
This is good French restaurant. The ambiance is amazing, modern but very cozy. It is small, I recommend smaller groups. Service is excellent, our waitress was on top of everything. The Pea Mint Gazpacho was actually my absolute favorite of the whole meal. The ratatouille was the second favorite of the night. The duck and beef bourguignon were good but need a bit more seasoning. The creme brûlée was ok, smooth custard but need a bit for punch from the vanilla. I would eat here again. It is on the pricier side, great for special occasions.

The Tini Martini Bar, located at the Casablanca Inn, is a top-notch establishment known for its high-class selection of martinis. The cozy yet cheerful ambiance sets the stage for an enjoyable evening, complemented by live jazz music on Friday and Saturday nights. Situated along the bayfront with stunning views of the Matanzas River, this bar offers a fantastic setting to savor your drinks.
What a fabulous place to be at! It is one of the best decorated businesses for the holiday season in St. Augustine, IMHO. We found a parking spot near the front after 10 pm. We tried earlier, but it was packed with a long line of guests in front, waiting to get inside. I loved it it all. It has a speakeasy feel inside, which we enjoy. Lots of martinis to choose from. We ordered a Manhattan and a Classic. Both were refreshingly delicious. The live music was great! Service was a little slow but to be expected with a large crowd. It was worth the wait, though. We hope to return again later this year.
Astrida M — Google review
A definite must-try if you have dinner somewhere on the St Augustine coast and are looking for a place to grab cocktails. The martinis were perfectly strong, and they give you the entire shaker so the value for each drink is really great. I ordered the lemon martini and Nathan ordered the bikini martini. Both were amazing, and we will definitely revisit in the future.
Rachel B — Google review
I’ve been to this martini bar once before and really enjoyed it, which is why I decided to come back. This time I dined inside, and while the building is older (which is part of its charm), there was a noticeable “old” smell that took away from the atmosphere. The service was slower than expected, especially considering it wasn’t very busy, and the food was just okay — nothing that really stood out. Overall, it’s an alright spot, but my experience this time didn’t quite live up to my first visit.

We had such a fun and romantic night at Tini Martini Bar in St. Augustine! We grabbed a table outside, enjoyed the cool evening breeze, and people-watched while sipping our cocktails. The vibe was lively yet intimate and we even caught a horse and carriage ride passing by, lit up with beautiful colors, which added to the charm of the night. The service was excellent, and I loved that they left the mixer cups at the table, giving us an extra 2–3 pours with each drink. Such a nice touch! The martinis were delicious, and the whole setting made it feel like the perfect date night spot. If you’re visiting St. Augustine and looking for a place that’s romantic, relaxed, and fun, I’d highly recommend stopping by the Tini Martini Bar. Great cocktails, great atmosphere, and a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening.

We went mid-october and thiis was the cutest bar ever!! Very elegant and romantic. A little small but a great atmosphere! The martinis were delicious 🍸 the lobby decorations were Harry Potter themed. We would definitely go again if we're in the area!
Crystal F — Google review
I didn't catch our waiter's name, but he was incredibly friendly and professional and had great martini recommendations. Our 15 year old daughter was allowed to eat with us. For the menu price of the martini, we were able to get atleast 3 full glasses out of each shaker.

My fiancé and I have always loved this location. Can you beat the outdoor seating by the water, it takes you to an oasis immediately. The drinks are amazing, my go to is the cappuccino martini absolutely recommend. Last time I brought my mom along for the food and vibes and this location never disappoints. I recommend also the spinach omelet.

Nestled in the heart of historic St. Augustine, Florida, Dog Rose Brewing Co. is a local favorite for craft beer enthusiasts. The brewery, housed in an art gallery turned brewery in the Lincolnville neighborhood, offers a diverse selection of locally crafted beers such as Lincolnville Lager, Rhapsody in Red, Roadside IPA, Speedball Stout, Saison Du Jardin and Palace Pale Ale.
Great local brewing company here in Saint Augustine Florida. Brooke the bar tender was awesome with her recommendations and samples. I had the Lions Head Honey that was sour and it made my taste buds do the hoochie coochie dance! Had to have a second one for the boogie woogie mouth party! Plenty of local beers on tap with a laid back atmosphere and local vibe. They have a food truck operating Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Nice people, clean brewery, clean bathrooms and a great staff. Shop Local, Support Local, Eat Local, Drink Local! Florida Man Approved!

🍺A lovely place with a great atmosphere! Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned because the restroom plumbing wasn’t working at the time. I really liked that the beer menu included the BU information—it would be even better if it also listed the types of hops used. Tried two lagers and one West Coast IPA, all of which were very good. 👍

Beers Amazing ! Place Amazing ! Why 1 Star ? Well, being new to the city and as a local business owner i feel very dissapointed with the service... Me and my wife feel like we where asking for something Free although someone next tome gave me some tips about the place the bartender didn't see very friendly when serving us. Honestly, i've felt this vive of discrimination before somewhere else long time ago in Alabama because we are Latin Americans... Anyways i'm not doing this to destroy it's so that we have more empathy, i been in hospitality business for more than 20 years. Friday July 11th 2025

Well thought out and executed design. I went in the early afternoon on weekday. It was a chill atmosphere. A few folks at the bar. About a dozen selections of beer. I gravitate towards honey beers considering I'm a beekeeper. They had a sour and another style that's in the pic. The sour was difficult to drink cause it makes your mouth pucker. I didn't stay after 1 drink. It's pretty good place to hand considering it's proximity to the old town. It's like one block from Alcazar.

Really liked this place. Beer was good but they have beer, wine, cocktails and even a THC seltzer! Nice atmosphere to chill for a beer. They also have their own food truck in the beer garden. We talked with the owner/brewmaster Doug and he’s a very personable guy. Very friendly. Even tho he was busy as can be, he still took time out to talk to us. Their brewing stuff is done on site too. They also have a great merch area, and hats are embroidered! Not the cheap iron ons. If your looking for a good beer and in the area this is the place to go!

Good brewery in St Augustine. Decent selection of brews and nice staff. They have music regularly and interesting seasonal beers.
Kris N — Google review
Fun place to hang out and play darts or shuffle board while you enjoy some beer. The beer was good. It's obvious they are passionate about their craft and we can't wait to come back later and try other seasonal beers. However, the people working there were super friendly and you can get any combination of flight sized beers without being locked into just 4 or 5 like some places...you can even just buy one if you'd like.

My wife and I held our wedding weekend welcome drinks at Dog Rose and were simply blown away. Courtney was incredible to work with. She accommodated our every ask, and her staff ran an efficient, friendly bar service. All of our guests were wildly impressed. Dog Rose Brewing was their first impression of St Augustine Florida, and my wife and I are so grateful that Dog Rose played the role perfectly. Great beer, great staff, highly recommend.

Gifted Cork LLC, located on 64 Hypolita Street in St. Augustine, is a haven for wine enthusiasts and gift seekers alike. With over 450 different wine labels and a variety of unique wines and cheeses from around the world, it's a paradise for those with an adventurous palate. The shop also offers daily wine tastings featuring their monthly theme for just $10, allowing visitors to sample and purchase their favorite wines while enjoying a cheese and fruit plate.
Had a wonderful experience here with two wine samplings, one white and one red. These were all from staff favorites. Only $10 for 4 wines! Might have been a special deal, not sure. Jeanne served us and she was great and made it a fun time. Loved them all and bought three bottles to take home with us. $5 off a bottle if you had a wine tasting. Lots of nice things to purchase besides wine. Great place to sit and enjoy some great wine!
Mike S — Google review
I LOVE this place! I go back every time I'm in Saint Augustine. Great and friendly employees. Always helpful with very good wines. Always let you do wine tasting. I would recommend anybody check it out.
Michael S — Google review
We had a great time at the wine tasting. “The blood of Judas” is a must try. We also had a charcuterie spread. They have an absolutely wonderful assortment of unique cheeses.

My fiancé and I did the Serendipity wine tours & this was one of our favorite stops along the way. Jeanne is an amazing hostess, full of knowledge and very welcoming into her shop. We loved that she switches out her wines each month. And we left with a list of cheeses & wines that we plan to go buy again! Her shop is also filled with some cute Knick knacks and gifts that we loaded up on! Go check out this spot for lots of delicious tastings & leave with a little more knowledge of wine than you entered with!

Beautiful shop, and experience. My wife and I visited in July of 2022 and we found some great wine here, and enjoyed every moment!
David S — Google review
Went here as my last stop on vacation and I have to say it was such a homey feel. The price was AMAZING and couldn’t recommend this place more. Harold was our wine expert and taught us a few things about sweet wine. Let’s say I walked out with two bottles. So glad I made the choice to end up here.
Hayley M — Google review
Super friendly place! Wine pairings with cheese plates were delicious. Highly recommended. Very intimate and fun.

Wine bar
The Bin 39 wine bar offers carefully selected wines by the glass or bottle, and excellent service. The indoor seating is limited, so be aware that you may need to sit outside in the cold. Guests have praised the wine flights and cheese board, and are eagerly looking forward to their next visit.
A relatively new establishment located next to the St. George Inn. We stopped here for some wine and food. We ordered the white Sangria and a charcuterie board. The Sangria was excellent, as was the cheeseboard. That afternoon they featured live entertainment, a young lady who played guitar and sang. She was terrific.
David J — Google review
We were on our way out. This is on the end of St George. Decided to have one more glass of wine. What a gem. Awesome patio and live music. Highly recommend a visit. And then we pay. When we leave we are chased down for not paying. We aren’t the type to do that, walk back, wait for server that checked us out to finish in the bathroom, in the meantime show proof where charge hit our card. We resolved it, but not the greatest experience.
Brian S — Google review
I love this place. Outdoor seating in the cool shade of the surrounding buildings was perfect! It was a champagne kind of day, so I can only recommend the Champagne Flight: Jacquart Brut Rosé, Collet Blanc de Blancs, Laurent-Perrier, Vueve Clicquot. Each decanter gives you just enough - a little more than a taste but not too much. That way you can enjoy yourself & decide which one you want to take home...
Emily H — Google review
They have a dog menu and are very dog friendly. Lots of seating in the shade. The flights are wonderful. Just a great place to enjoy a variety of great wine, listen to music and relax
Tammy F — Google review
Love love love love this spot! The food, the drinks, the music, the ambiance. Checked out the new spritz drinks. So bomb. The sangria is my personal fav. McKenna & Lilly rock. Check out the tasting flights (so many to choose from) are great if you can’t decide. Cheers!

My wife and I run Ballyhoo Rally and had a sponsored happy hour here by our sponsor Key Smart. The staff was friendly and the event ran smoothly, all at a fair price. Cool spot, you should check it out!!
Alejandro O — Google review
Excellent food and service! We were a little unsure at first because the cheese plates seemed a little pricey, but the amount of food you get for the price is unbelievable! We'll definitely be back!
Nancy B — Google review
I only stopped in for a cup of coffee weather location is beautiful. A good spot to chill in people watch on your way in or on your way out of the old city. I really can't speak to the food because I did not have any
