DO NOT USE!!! They're running a scam with petrol fees at the end. As others have mentioned, they overcharged us 60 euros for petrol at the end of the boat ride. We only took the boat out 30 mins from the port but they claimed we used a whole tank of petrol. We spoke to a local in the port who said it's a scam the company runs.

We booked the guided boat tour to the beaches of Sardinia's east coast through GetYourGuide – including Cala Goloritzé, Cala Mariolu, and other dream spots. The price was €79 per person for about eight hours – and in the end, every euro was well spent. 🔹Parking & Registration: The journey from Baunei was totally relaxing – we simply parked for free on the side of the road above the bend down to the harbor, even in the shade. There are barriers and parking fees down below; unfortunately, I don't know the prices. Registration was straightforward at the hut, all via the QR code in the confirmation email from GetYourGuide. 🔹The somewhat bumpy start: The departure was actually planned for 8:30 a.m., but we only found out in the morning that it actually didn't leave until around 9:00 a.m. Unfortunately, we weren't properly informed beforehand – they just said, "Why don't you go to the bar and have a coffee?" What followed was a good hour of aimless waiting. No clear meeting point, no dock number, no information about who would pick us up where – until we finally got a call. Other guests on board looked a bit annoyed when we boarded – even though we had been waiting the whole time. 🔹The tour: As soon as it started… everything was forgotten. Our guide was amazing – a cheerful, slightly crazy Italian who would do backflips off the boat one moment, then enthrall us with fascinating information about nature and the coast. And in between, he even went swimming with us in his Speedo. 😅 We explored various bays, swam in a cave, snorkeled through the clear water, and saw some of Sardinia's most beautiful beaches from the sea. The individual stops at the (overcrowded) beaches were pleasantly long (usually 90 minutes) and completely stress-free. A note for anyone booking for Cala Goloritzé: The beach isn't directly accessible by boat – you stop at buoys outside and can theoretically swim there. We just did a bit of diving and enjoyed the incredible scenery from the water – that was an experience in itself. 🔹Important: The tour is definitely physically demanding – you're in the sun and water a lot. So: Bring plenty of drinks (at least 2-3 liters per person), snacks, and LOTS of sunscreen! You can only actually buy something at one of the stops (Cala Mariolu). Unfortunately, I don't know the prices. By the way, you could easily bring a decent amount of luggage, the boat was big enough. We also had a parasol, which is also important to mention! 🔹Conclusion: Yes, it's a touristy tour – but in the small group (max. 12 people), it still feels personal and relaxed. We were right in the middle of it, not just there, and of course, part of the problem of crowded beaches...! 😂🙈 Sure, you can also hike the beaches – but the multitude of impressions, jumping into the water, the feeling of freedom on the sea... you only get that this way. Despite the somewhat chaotic start, we would do this tour again anytime. Der Preis lag bei 79 € pro Person für etwa acht Stunden – und am Ende war jeder Euro gut investiert. 🔹Parken & Anmeldung: Die Anreise von Baunei war total entspannt – geparkt haben wir einfach kostenlos am Straßenrand oberhalb der Kurve runter zum Hafen, sogar im Schatten. Unten sind Schranken und Parkgebühren, Preise kenne ich leider nicht. Die Anmeldung lief dann unkompliziert am Hüttchen, alles über den QR-Code aus der Bestätigungsmail von GetYourGuide. 🔹Der etwas holprige Start: Geplant war eigentlich eine Abfahrt um 8:30 Uhr, tatsächlich ging’s dann aber erst gegen 9:00 Uhr los, haben wir erst morgens erfahren…Leider wurden wir darüber vorher nicht richtig informiert – es hieß dann nur: „Geht doch schon mal zur Bar, trinkt einen Kaffee.“ Was dann folgte, war eine gute Stunde planloses Warten. Kein klarer Treffpunkt, keine Stegnummer, keine Info, wer uns wo abholen wird – bis wir schließlich angerufen wurden. Andere Gäste an Bord schauten dann schon etwas genervt, als wir einstiegen – dabei hatten wir ja die ganze Zeit gewartet. Das war einfach schade und der einzige echte Minuspunkt der Tour. 🔹Die Tour: Sobald es losging… war alles vergessen. Unser Guide war der Wahnsinn – ein lebensfroher, leicht verrückter Italiener, der mal eben Rückwärtssaltos vom Boot macht, dann wieder mit spannenden Infos über Natur und Küste begeistert. Und zwischendurch ist er einfach mit uns in seiner Speedo schwimmen gegangen. 😅 Wir haben verschiedene Buchten erkundet, sind in einer Höhle geschwommen, durchs klare Wasser geschnorchelt und haben einige der schönsten Strände Sardiniens vom Meer aus gesehen. Die einzelnen Stopps an den (überfüllten) Stränden waren angenehm lang (meist 90 Minuten) und an sich absolut stressfrei. Ein Hinweis für alle, die wegen Cala Goloritzé buchen: Der Strand ist per Boot nicht direkt zugänglich – man hält draußen an Bojen und kann theoretisch hinschwimmen. Wir sind einfach ein bisschen getaucht und die wahnsinnige Kulisse vom Wasser aus genossen – auch das war ein Erlebnis für sich. 🔹Wichtig: Die Tour ist körperlich definitiv fordernd – man ist sehr sehr viel in der Sonne und im Wasser. Also: Genug Trinken (2-3L/p.P. mal mindestens), Snacks und VIEL Sonnencreme mitnehmen! Nur an einem der Stopps (Cala Mariolu) kann man tatsächlich etwas kaufen. Preise sind mir leider nicht bekannt. Übrigens konnte man absolut entspannt ordentlich Gepäck mitnehmen, das Boot war groß genug. Wir hatten auch einen Sonnenschirm, auch wichtig zu erwähnen! 🔹Fazit: Ja, es ist eine touristische Tour – aber in der kleinen Gruppe (max. 12 Personen) fühlt es sich trotzdem persönlich und entspannt an. Wir waren mittendrin, nicht nur dabei und natürlich auch Teil des Problems der vollen Strände…! 😂🙈 Klar, man kann die Strände auch erwandern – aber die Vielzahl an Eindrücken, das Springen ins Wasser, das Gefühl von Freiheit auf dem Meer… das bekommt man einfach nur auf diesem Weg. Trotz des etwas chaotischen Starts würden wir diese Tour jederzeit wieder machen. Ein echtes Highlight unseres Urlaubs! 4,5 von 5 Sternen – mit klarem Daumen hoch! 👍
