Everyone we encountered was welcoming, kind, and helpful, which always makes the experience that much better. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel good not only because of the food but also because of the energy. We honestly wish we had a Green Sage Café back home in Myrtle Beach 😭 it would instantly be our everyday go-to spot. But Until then, we will be counting down to our next Asheville trip to come back. The reviews were great, which led us in there. It’s inside a hotel, and the ambiance is a little hotel restauranty. But the food is just unbelievably good! We started with the hummus and Brussels sprouts appetizers. There are there spicy red peppers on the hummus and they really add a flavor pop. The Brussels are the best I’ve ever had! The restaurants are very good and some have spectacular views. Walking around the hotel is a walk full of amazing Mission furniture and decor, historic photos, and more spectacular views. The lobby is massive, historical, beautiful, has 2 fireplaces large enough to walk into, AND you never know who you'll see there. To me, it's as historical as the Biltmore Estaste, in the form of a hotel. Be aware there is security at the approaches, and parking is free for the 1st hour. Parking stamps are available at some places in the hotel, (shops/restaurants), but don't assume it's free if you're just coming to explore. Their spa is world renowned, appointments required. We ordered the Calimari which came out hot, tasted fresh, and we were pleased. We also ordered the Mahi & Shrimp Ceviche which was disappointing. The mix had great flavors and the shrimp was fresh, but the Mahi was mush telling me it was made earlier in the day, and I would rate a 3/10. Fresher is better. As an entrees we chose to split a Cuban sandwich. I must say the meat was fresh, the bread was fresh, perfectly pressed and cooked. Probably in the Top 3 of the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had eaten. The views were amazing. Fix the attitudes and the uncleared tables and this can be a home run!

Reservations for dinner are a must because the restaurant is not very large, but does skew more towards an earlier dinner crowd. We stayed in a deluxe double room that was recently renovated. Caution - they have an XL version that's right next to the towel/ice room. So if you like a quieter room, just let them know. Everyone working here is SO great. Valet, waiters, hostesses, front desk, cleaning staff - everyone was so nice. I took a star off because we were evacuated for a false alarm @3:15am our first night. That happens, but there wasn't really an apology. Extra chocolates on the pillows would've been enough. We were planning on waking up early and hitting the road, but had to sleep in so it did mess with our plans. Any noise from the hallway was not in the least bit muffled, like there was not even a wall separating us. They do have a restaurant and bar but we did not check it out. They do have Sunday morning breakfast available...for $17.00 a person. We opted to have our breakfast somewhere else. Four Points does not have a complementary breakfast which was another disappointment as the Marriotts usually have a very nice breakfast buffet. My boyfriend is a gold elite member so we have stayed at several different places through their rewards program. This has been the worst place we have stayed in five years. They also had a great wine selection and we were able to find a Turley Zinfandel as well as an Obsidian Cabernet. I also love their pimento cheese spread. Highest recommendation!!

Mushrooms were delicious and lightly breaded (my favorite) creamy ranch was fitting for the portion and caps were huge compared to other places. Cornerstone burger was delicious and filling. Made to order and fresh veggies and meat was juicy not dry. Great burger Fries I didn’t care for, lacked flavor and taste was not there. May want to try a different side they have available. Today, I opted for the French toast and it was absolutely delicious! I did order shrimp and grits to go because it was my son in law's birthday and one of his favorite dishes. Both were phenomenal. Because I was al9ne, I opted to eat at the bar while I waited for the to-go order. The gentleman next to me had ordered ribs (which they're known for) and he's said they were really good; they looked and smelled amazing. Most of the food was pretty good however the biscuits were hard and burnt. And the strawberry french toast "bake" was just a hard, burnt, dry, refrigerator-cold, lump of sweet bread smashed together with some strawberry's sprinkled around it and a smear of cheese cake filling on one side. With a word like bake in the name I expected it to at least be warm. How disappointing. The pictures look so good. False advertisement for sure. I would have been happier ordering a fruit cup. Plus my bf said when he sat the drinks down in the car the drinks weren't tucked into the cup holder tray well and he didn't realize it until he sat it down and one of the drinks fell over in the seat drenching the seat. He ordered the chicken tender dippers and said he was surprised they were so tiny, if he knew they would be so small he wouldn't have ordered them. The rest of our food was delicious though.
