The rooms are well laid out, power outlets in logical places--to include an added power strip on a long cord should you need more places to charge/power something--to the simple/logical arrangement of the rooms. The doors are smooth, the aircon works great, a quality fan if you just want some breeze and a nice wardrobe area to store your clothes/bags are just part of the overall quality and layout of each room. The rooms, or more accurately, small bungalows, are spaced far enough apart that you have no problem with noise from neighbors--unless they, of course, are loud, drunk/stoned idiot twenty something tourists who talk too loud and stomp around (very common in Pai unfortunately)--and all have a little porch with chairs, a table, and a hammock. She has refreshments available at the main office (i.e., BEER) and the breakfast, while simple, is delicious and made to order and she's got a lovely coffee machine and a hot pot for tea or instant coffee if that's your thing. Plenty of parking for your scoot, motorcycle, or car. Oh and it's a five minute walk across the river from Pai walking street--i.e., the center of fun and things to do in the city. Simply put, Tom has thought of everything. She can also assist you with tours of local attractions and has well maintained scooters for rent if you like. Overall not just a "5" but a thanks and a bravo for thinking of her customers and making the stay there absolutely wonderful (by the way, my lady and I have stayed there many times and the experience is always the same!). It's a really good place to just go and have a great time, meet people and just hang out. There's always something going on there and everyone is really friendly. The staff are all great people and the accomodation is decent. It's basic but clean, all open air bamboo constructs with some beds really high up. Each bed has blankets and a bug net. My only real complaints with the hostel would be that I got a thin blanket with a hole in it and I was freezing on my last night, I also don't think I saw any soap at the hostel, bring your own if you want clean hands.

It is very close to Pai Walking Street where most shops and restaurants are (5 minute walk). The journey to get there is just down an alley, over a pedestrian bridge, and then down another street. The owners are very helpful and friendly and can help with booking taxis and tours. They also serve complimentary breakfast in the morning. I chose museli and fruit every day and it was lovely and fresh. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay in Pai.
