Then, I was attacked by an infestation of BEDBUGS!!!! I don’t know which room they came from, but MY God!!! I mean, it’s obviously in need of some updates and repairs, but it’s also INFESTED. Payton was helpful. Ky was as well. We’ll see how it ends…. PS always pull your refrigerator out first thing!! And the sheets are super clean, there is a protective cover on it. They definitely don’t wash the mattress covers. Now I’m just sitting in my car for the last two hours wondering what I’m supposed to do now because the point they supposedly credited me so I could get a room somewhere else have yet to arrive…..

This actually worked out very well. We weren’t dealing with crowds all day, only at race time. The drive to the track was about 25 minutes. We had a nice free breakfast each morning the hot entrees rotate, so it didn’t get dull. Rooms were clean and tidy, but we had a few things worn and out of repair in our room. TP holder was falling off the wall, the sheer curtains were totally ripped. These didn’t impact our stay, but shows they just haven’t taken care of it. Other than that, our stay was just fine. If you like firm beds, this is your place. A little firmer than I would have liked, but it was fine. We weren’t dealing exhausted every night after the race, so it almost didn’t matter. I called and asked for a clean comforter, she said she couldn't leave the desk but we could come get clean ones. My husband got them , they were fine. I could tell the room wasn't cleaned. The one wash cloth had tan residue like it had been used and the post card on the table had dried coffee stains on it. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in either. I used a pillow case for a rug at the side of the bed to wipe my feet off before id get in thd bed. The floor was dirty and dirt stuck to my bare feet. The worst part of the room was when we first entered it smelled like skunk weed, we both don't smoke and it was a sickening smell. The toilet in this room rocks when you get off of it.There was a house gecko in the shower the first night and a large roach the second night. This place needs some plumbing maintenance and definitely new cleaning staff. A + to the desk people.

The hotel is a beautiful historic property and truly so very cute with so much character. Super clean, the hotel and room itself was spotless, felt like home right away. There’s a level of politeness, trust, and calm among everyone I had the pleasure of interacting with. The drive from the hotel to Rockville was around 25 minutes and super easy. There’s also some really great food at the restaurant on property, and prices were beyond reasonable (especially for 2025, lol). I got there around 5:40 am. They refused to honor the reservation & instead charged me the weekend rate plus $50 to check in early. Plus a $50 deposit. They had a trash bag laying on the floor for the food trash and would not let you leave the 8 foot by 8 foot room with 12 people in it as they did not want you to take food back to your room. Probably afraid of it summoning the roach infestations that could easily come out of the holes in the walls. What a terrible place to stay and I am not a fancy hotel person and try to stay at clean mediocre places but this is definitely not either of those. In my opinion this is a no go. As part of my rehab the Surgeon recommended pelvic floor therapy. I found it difficult to find a therapist in my area that specializes in Male Pelvic Floor Therapy. I did not want to travel to Orlando for this and I was happy when I reached out to Sanford Pelvic Floor Therapy and Wellness. Christine LaM'ee answered my phone call and put my anxiety at ease, telling me that she was trained in the treatment of Pelvic Floor Therapy for Men, best of all she was close to home. From my first appointment to my last she listened to my concerns, and suggested various therapy's tailored to my condition, keeping me focused on our goal. Along the way she offered words of encouragement as I worked to recover. At my 8 week post surgery Dr appointment, the Dr was very pleased with the progress of my recovery. I am so glad I made the call to Sanford Pelvic Floor and Wellness the progress I have made towards my recovery has helped me not only physically but mentally as well. The care and compassion Christine La'Mee showed me, and my wife during this difficult time was beyond my expectation. I still have a way to go, but the therapy plan Christine LaM'ee put in place has me on the fast track to recovery.
