The speakeasy is located in the historic Packing House in Anaheim and only has 30 seats available so reservations are a must. After making your way through the Packing House food court you will find the secret entrance to The Blind Rabbit. There are a couple of booths and several small tables for two along with bar seating. The staff were friendly and the bartenders seemed to be having nice conversations with the guests at the bar. We tried a specialty themed cocktail which was extremely good and also a good price point. The bartender was also able to curate a nice mocktail for guests that did not want alcohol. We tried the artichoke dip as an appetizer which was delicious and served with warm pita bread. We shared the steak frites which was the perfect size for two. The food is a bit pricey but it was a nice portion and very tasty plus you can’t beat the cool vibe of the place.

On my last trip warmly greeted and seated overlooking the pool and the ocean, the Sommelier Gary helped me and my date pick out a bottle of a fantastic Riesling and spoke with us a while about chartreuse varieties. The foot was exceptional and the lobster Tail served over the parmesan Risotto currently lives rent free in my mind. I could see the band members look around the room and see people were enjoying the show and smiled back knowing they were appreciated. Didn't expect much when I came here, I've tried southern food at other places in California and had been disappointed half the time but this time I was not! I got the fried chicken and it was delicious! Loved the collard greens and the mashed potatoes as well. It's been years since I've been, and boy do I regret waiting so long. First off, the vibe was great. Music at the right level, a nice buzz of patrons talking, and the kitchen cranking out delicious food. We really enjoyed the menu which offered something for everyone. I’m not sure if it’s a shared kitchen but the food is completely different and Vietnamese centric compared to the seafood and American cuisine of the main restaurant. Portions are generous and our server said we may have ordered too many items but there are many interesting combinations on the menu. For appetizers, we loved them all and could easily stay in this area of the menu. The dumplings, bone marrow and tartare were all excellent. For the main items we opted for the short rib which was flavorful but overcooked and dry. The garlic noodles were good as a paired starch but more dense and heavy than the lighter garlic noodles I gave more often. Overall, it was a great meal. Probably should have ordered the shaking beef instead of the short rib but we’ll remember next time. Credit cards are accepted and all dining is indoor only. Reservations recommended as it’s a limited seating dining space.

This place is NOT that cool. Sound is fire with a state of the art Funktion One design, and the layout is okay. Dance floor needs to be larger. The service is just okay depending on who you interact with. Booze selection is lame really. Security every 10 feet telling where you can and cannot stand around the dance floor kills the vibe before it get's started. So many cameras on you from every angle imaginable, feels more like a casino than a dance club. Nothing standout authentic about this place at all. Also, you have a walk like hundreds of yards down multiple staircases to get to the men's restroom; not smart for business as it discourages drinking by men. We won't be going back and advise others over 30 to skip this as feels more like a cheesey, teens at the mall type club.
