We arrived and I liked the vibe of the space. Seating is comfortable, they have different seating options, an indoor and outdoor bar. Our drink orders were taken promptly and arrived a short time later. The same person did also take our dinner orders and they had agreed to do individual checks prior to our arrival (and got the check right including drink orders at the end of the night). Where there was a breakdown was after our dinner orders were placed. Food arrived to the group over a 40 minute window. My steak had been cooked perfectly but had dried out being kept warm. The arrival was interesting. The tallest building in Daytona. This spot is right on the beach. A big, round, blue and white building. You can't miss it. But, being the first time here, i found it hard to find the entrance. I ended up having to make a call for directions. Inside the garage, there is a huge sign, as big as a billboard, which says to park outside. I didn't see it until we were leaving. LOL. Also, no valet. Parking is free. You park yourself. There is a sign that says restaurant, by the elevator. Btw, there is a restroom next to the elevator on the ground floor. Use it before you go upstairs. The one in the restaurant is not working right now. When you come of the elevator, the first thing you see is the view. Awesome. On this day, the ocean was really rough. You could see way down south and around the other side you could see way up north. 360 views of the entire area. Very cool. Our waitress was very good and attentive. The service was remarkable. She paid close attention to us and our needs. She told us about all the specials, the menu, took our order, and helped in any way she could. (Alice? She looks like another waitress there. I have never been there when it wasn't bustling. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. I noticed pet companions with customers in the outdoor area. This is a neighborhood staple for us. As usual the food was spectacular. I got the Cajun shrimp basket and my boyfriend got the shrimp and grits both were amazing. The staff simply can’t serve everyone showing up during the breakfast run. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of her way to explain how everything worked, which made our whole experience smooth and fun. The food was amazing. At the beginning of our visit service was great however started lacking at the end due to what appeared to be only one server working the whole restaurant, so it was no fault of hers. What the downside of the evening was the music. It was SO loud no one could talk. There were two women at the bar that asked them to please lower the volume and the keyboard player was great and said no problem. The Sax player (who sounded great but way too loud) was very rude back and said “you come a live music venue to listen to the music not complain about it”. The women ended up leaving. Everything was homemade. The tortillas, the sauces, the meat was juicy and fresh, everything to a T was superb. Brian, our waiter was incredible and extremely knowledgeable and kind. I spent $40 on Chicken Enchiladas (pictured), a HUGE side of guacamole, a side of fresh pickled onions (rare find), a chicken empanada, a sweet tea, and a massive chicken burrito with fries. A ton of food and for the price you simply put cannot beat it. This place deserves more attention. Family owned business that truly deserve more light. Highly recommend. 10/10 spot in my opinion especially for the area. You don’t just stumble across places like this anymore. Also pictured is the guacamole.

We decided to order takeout. The service was friendly and fast, and the food was plentiful. We each ordered combos and split everything in half. Turns out, this is a great way to be able to sample more at once. It was fun to share what each of us thought about the different items. They have good prices, very reasonable and the dinning area is decent. I got the fired pork chops with rice, salad and plantains, the food is good I can’t complain. The staff is friendly and explained the menu in detailed without rushing us, we went 40 mins before closing time which is at 8pm on a Friday. Very impressed with the customer service, I’ll recommend it for a fast and cheap diner time.
