The first few bites were bursting with delicious flavor. But about half way through, the flavor got a bit more fishy. They had their own menus with their name printed on them, a card, and rose pedals. It was lovely. The food was great. The steaks were perfect. The butter cake was incredible. We arrived to the restaurant we had requested an outdoor seat on the reservation however the weather had plans of its own the hostess asked us if we wanted to move inside and we said yes, she was very polite and quick to get our table together. I took my wife here for our first anniversary and I have to say Hyde parks staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. We arrived to a table covered in flower pedals and a nice candle with an amazing view. They also left a card on the table signed by all the staff which we thought was pretty amazing. The food was amazing, i got the surf and turf which was just amazing the fillet minion just melts in your mouth, my wife got the cheese burger which she said was the best she’s ever had. Then came dessert, they gave us a special dessert for our anniversary which was amazing then we proceeded to order some others the crème brûlée was amazing just a silky smooth vanilla bean flavor with a caramelized finish it’s the best. The staff was so professional and kind. We had a group behind us that was a little loud and slightly disruptive when singing happy birthday and with there conversation in general, however we were very impressed with the staff for not treating them any differently as they where paying customers as well and deserved the same treatment as everyone else there. We are definitely not the type of people that goes to restaurants like this regularly, and we’re very hesitant to go afraid we would be judged and treated differently, however the staff made us feel very warm and welcome. We will definitely be visiting the restaurant again as there is one in two of the cities we have vacations planned to.

The main dining room’s air conditioning was down (Florida timing, right?), but the staff was super accommodating and seated us in the bar area, which was cool, comfortable, and actually more relaxed than the main room. Our server was attentive and friendly, handling our group of four with ease and good humor. The food was excellent. My daughter had shrimp alfredo and said it was some of the best shrimp she has ever had, my husband had the monterey chicken with red skin potatoes(off the chain!) and my daughters friend had barbeque chicken flatbread. All of it was exceptional, except my fries which were mushy. The price was very reasonable for the area and we would return here. The waitress was also very friendly, we never had to ask for refills or anything.. She was on top of it! (We didnt get a pic of the monterey chicken but here is the shrimp alfredo and flatbread.)
