We had ordered a coke, citrus guac, calabacitas and birria quesadilla (exactly in this order). Jaret, our server, may have not heard the quesadilla. He gave us attitude since we ordered our food. He hasn't come back to our table since our food came (approx. 40 mins). He walked by our table couple of times to serve other tables but totally ignored us. In the meantime, other tables had been served their food and even 2/3 chefs in the open kitchen had been on breaks. He finally came and asked if we are ok. He has no recollection of our order of quesadilla and just said all set. We have no clue what he meant. He had already walked away and we don't even have a chance to ask. We got our bill but he placed my credit card among a pile of dirty plates. Sure enough, I don't even have a chance to complain about it. Don't come to this place unless you enjoy bad service.

The service initially was excellent and the maitre d was accommodating of our stroller by adjusting and removing chairs from the inside of the igloo. The location is great for a relaxing evening out with family/friends and the food was surprisingly good (especially the beef short rib entree and the fish n chips)! The smores board was disappointing. The rest of the service left something to be desired - we were served the short rib sandwich instead of the entree, but they were quick to take that back and bring us the entree. We did detect some passive aggressiveness from the server as if we should have been more clear when we ordered, but no harm done, no foul. At the end though, when the check came, we were charged the 25$ igloo rental fee which I had already paid on booking. I did catch it and inform the server as such. We were then told that while the fee will be removed, we should inform them when we arrive for the dinner that we already paid the igloo rental fee otherwise they wouldn’t know. This rubbed us the wrong way as we would’ve paid an extra 25$ had we not been looking at the itemized bill and were made to feel as if it was our fault. Apart from that, the experience was good and I do recommend the restaurant esp the igloos.

There is plenty of parking, but it filled up fast within a short time. Walking up the the building and in, the atmosphere and architecture is stunning and cozy. We asked about the building and the owner built it himself many years ago. The chairs are comfy, there is an outside patio with views of Lake Eerie. The food was exactly what you would hope for. From their boxty to their dessert, not a single dish was dissapointing. The corned beef rolls were crisp and delicious, and it had some of the best thousand island dressing ever. Their corned beef boxty was amazing, each bite was a cacophony of flavors. Their soup of the day was clam chowder, and it had whole clams, tasted fresh and was bursting with flavor. Paired with a turkey sandwich on rye, the bread was flavorful as well and the meat tender and juicy. Their Guinness ice cream is so delightful as well (although the brownie bites were rather plain). Overall, it was perfect comfort food that will keep you wanting to come back.

We were 6 people 4 adults and 2 child . When we got there they said after 930 pm the place turns into a club and kids are not allowed. So we started walking back to our car , sad. It's called the Lakehouse, what type of food should they be good at? You guessed it, Mexican food. All jokes aside, the little seafood selection they had, the Mexican food, Mongolian beef, and the wings all we subpart (yes,we ordered a bit). I think the problem spawns from poor food quality mixed with little seasoning. Side note: I love chili and left 95% off it uneaten (don't order the chile). That was the bad part. The service was pretty decent and the atmosphere was pretty nice. But you can't mask food that looks good but simply isn't for to the quality. And I'm really glad I did. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. Beef carpaccio = Delicious and super tender. The presentation was also very special. The staff was the most friendly staff I've ever encountered with the way they great ppl coming and going. The serving staff at breakfast was also very polite. The staff is diverse between age, race and cultures which is something I love to see when going to an American hotel. From parking garage with very small parking spaces it was difficult to get in and out. We had to take one elevator from garage to the lobby, then take another elevator to the 8th floor.
