While the furniture isn't original, the house has been restored to be in glorious condition. The self guided tour and not too crowded-ness of it also catered towards our preference. ^_^ Thank you for this wonderful experience. I sat at the bar and AJ was my server. He was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. I ordered the RIP Burger and it was delicious. I also tried the Killbuck Creek Kölsch Ale. Three holes on the back are across the street and over the hill and it is easy to get turned around. The pulled pork mac & cheese was good, but not great. The mac & cheese itself was really creamy and delish. The pulled pork however didn't have enough flavor for my taste. I ordered it with the house barbeque. It's a sweet sauce, but not overly sweet like the popular brand Sweet Baby Ray's. I like the fact it wasn't super sweet. But it definitely could have had more sauce to give it more flavor. The slaw didn't stand out a whole lot. It had decent flavor, and wasn't sweet. Which would have been a better complement to the barbeque if the barbeque had a stronger flavor. That being said, I happily ate the whole plate. It was just fine. The value here though isn't very good. I just am not sold on the idea my meal was worth $22. High price for something that didn't necessarily wow me. And at $10 a glass of cider, that's expensive as well. I spent $44 on two drinks and a meal that was good, but not great. But steep. With my tip it was over $55. I love quite a ways away, but if I find myself in the area I will happily stop by again. I'd like to try a burger.
