There was some time before we had to catch our train back from Brighton so this was a good way to pass the time. We didn't need more than 20-30mn without rushing.
It's a good collection of all sorts of toys and models, but it's not the sort of place where there's a lot to read. There's very little to do or play with.
I would say this is quite interesting and fun to see the amount of different toys, trains, models, dolls, Legos all gathered in this one place. But it's the sort of place I would go to once, but not come back to.

This place is a paradise for anyone who collects hotwheels, legos, train models etc. they have a few working train models which is really cool. They even have a few 10p drop arcade stuff which are pretty cool to do. You can spend about 45 - 60 minutes in there just checking the different displays. You can buy tickets at the counter but I did feel the price didn’t entirely justify for what was in there. However, the child in me loved the displays and the time spent there. The person in the counter was really nice and did talk us through what was inside and did hand in an activity quest sheet for my kid to do while in there. Overall great experience.

What a lovely hidden gem in the heart of Brighton. Very close to the train station, so if you have a spare 30 to 60 minutes, I recommend you visit. Adult £8, child £5 and under 4 free, family (2 adults and children) £17 so it will not break the back. The initial shop opens up to the museum packed with loads of nostalgia. 12000 toys and items to see from a wonderful working train sets to puppets, meccano, dinky, hornby, and many more, covering many eras. The passion put into preserving these gems of toys and models from the past should be supported as this is run by a charity and volunteers. Otherwise, they will be lost. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my visit to Sea Life Brighton. The aquarium is beautifully designed, with a fascinating variety of marine life to see. Brighton Sea Life is the world’s oldest aquarium, opened in 1872, and sits right by the beach. Inside, you can see thousands of sea creatures like sharks, turtles, rays, and seahorses. The building itself is special too, with beautiful Victorian-style architecture that makes it feel different from other aquariums. Visitors can walk through tunnels and watch fish and other animals swim all around them.

A good place to go with potential to be better. What I loved about the Brighton museum is it's variety of historical and local lore which presented the opportunity to cover the very basics (such as the Egyptian exhibit). It was really great to see not only a diverse history of Brighton & Hove, but also that members of staff had the opportunity to express their own creative passions here which gave it's own merit of exploration. Although not to my personal taste, the current mod exhibition served it's purpose well. The passion and protest exhibit was also a great addition and I will be using the insights I have gained to form part of my practice development in the equality and diversity module of my formal apprenticeship. What was disappointing, was the amount of fashion displays. The mod exhibition followed by a Ben Sherman takeover had overtaken a significant amount of the museum. I think that if they had been spread out separately or combined into the backspace that the Mod exhibition was in it would have been enough. I do hope with the rotation of exhibits on offer come January we will see less of similarity and a more diverse range of exhibitions on offer.

Located near the Royal Pavilion, in a building with beautiful, special architecture. Not very big, you need about an hour to visit it. It has several sections, but not very large. The most interesting seemed to me to be the one dedicated to ancient Egypt (although small), and the one with archaeological discoveries from the Brighton area.

We came to see Chris Difford on 30/09 and the experience was excellent. It was a gig with unreserved seating, but staff were on hand to help people find a seat. We sat about midway back in the upper section and the view was excellent. The seats were also super comfy! There is a decent sized bar and service was very efficient - I actually managed to get a drink during the interval without any wait at all.
The venue is located close to lots of bars, cafes and restaurants and there are takeaways nearby for after.
An excellent venue that I will definitely return to.

Really enjoyed visiting this venue and made a dream come true by getting tickets to see American Football on the 1st of July.
The venue is nicely laid out, but toilets downstairs could be a problem for some. Lovely open concert room. Narrow Bar for congested before concert room was opened but only for around 10 mins. For a 500 ticket event, we queued around the outside of the building, but I'm sure assistance could be given to anyone with accessibility needs.

Lovely venue, small and intimate. I saw an evening with Norman cook, which was brilliant. The Sound and lighting were good, even if we were in the furthest away seats it was still easy to feel involved. The staff were good. The only downside was the bar, which is very small and whilst they had the max numbers of bar staff possible progress was slow. There’s nothing they can do about it, it is what it is. Would def watch other events there.

For me this is the best art gallery in Brighton. They have quite a wide range of artists with constantly changing exhibitions. Open for just over a year the gallery has had a series of themed exhibitions by both promising and established artists and the choice of work on show has always been a mix of everything from the 'gentle' to the eclectic and 'challenging'. We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday at Rockwater and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. The staff gave us a beautiful table in a quieter zone, which was ideal for my mother who wears hearing aids—such a thoughtful touch.
The food was absolutely excellent. My mum and dad both had the fish and chips, which they loved, and I had the steak. The chips were so delicious I ended up stealing them from three other plates—I just couldn’t get enough! For dessert, the mango sorbet was a standout: intensely flavourful, refreshing, and a true delight to end the meal.
Special mention must go to our waitress Vicky, who was incredibly attentive throughout the evening, and Daniel, who helped serve our food with charm and humour—he really added to the celebration.
Rockwater was the perfect setting to celebrate a milestone birthday, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, thoughtful service, and a memorable experience

Popped in for the Easter Sunday roast. Service was great, staff were really friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is excellent with sea views as the building is as close to beachfront as you can get. Great place to meet friends, have a drink and enjoy life.
The food was probably the only downer here. Portions were generous, but my lamb roast was over-cooked (super chewy) and the meals were generally dry (not enough gravy). We chose not to have dessert because the mains disappointed.

Our first visit to The Brighton Dome. A lovely building. There was good view of the stage from all seats, we were in the circle. The sound system was also very good. The only slight negative was the lack for places to get a drink in the interval as the mezzanine floor bar in our floor was closed so we had to go down 2 floors and joint many long queues for a drink. Visited for a concert on 28th October (2025). Fabulous building, full of character and a great atmosphere. Only issue we had was with the sound - I have seen Suzanne Vega before (last year at another venue) and so could compare. Not sure if it was their set up or the Dome but the guitar back up sounded quite jarring and a little distorted e.g. overly loud in places. Nonetheless, Suzanne Vega and her support Act were superb and we enjoyed the venue and the show enormously. N.B we used the train, which is not too far from the venue as parking is currently very difficult due to a lot of road works - we advise you check if planning to drive in :)

We went there for lunch on a Friday. We had made a booking, but it wouldn't have been necessary.
We got the lunch menu, which at £35 per person and the quality of the food is great! They started us off with bread and butter, which was delicious. The bread was sourdough bread, and had a really nice and deep flavor with a sour hint to it.
As a starter, we got the ravioli filled with salmon. The pasta itself was nicely cooked, the filling was delicious with the right amount of salmon, and the accompanying sauce acidic to break through the richness of the ravioli.
As a main we got the Gilt-Head Bream with gnocchi. The fish was crispy, but its flesh cooked just right, flaky and tender. The gnocchi were light and cloud-like. For dessert we got the cheese, and although it's not a dish that they have made themselves, the Montgomery Cheddar was a nice way to end the meal.
Service was impeccable: friendly and at the right pace. Moreover, at the end Chef Duncan himself came up to check on us and see how we enjoyed the meal, which was a nice touch.
Next time I visit Brighton I'll try to make a point to try to have dinner at the Little Fish Market.

Amazing food, faultless service, but a shame about the extra non-advertised charge for the fish. My partner and I had dinner here as a special treat for our anniversary, at £85 a head it is not our everyday meal! The food was incredible, special mention to the Thai-inspired Monkfish and the signature 'egg and soldiers'. The service was of a very high standard, with the waitress explaining every course in detail and continuously topping up our wine. The restaurant does feel a little 'cold', (decor and lighting-wise), it could use a few touches to feel a bit more cosy. The wait between courses is fairly long so be ready for that, but we had prepared ourselves for being there for a while as it was a tasting menu and of course it gave us time to chat! However the thing that was disappointing is that we had to pay a supplement for the main fish course that was not advertised anywhere on the website. This varied per fish chosen, but even the cheapest option added an extra £10 per person on top of an already very expensive meal. I think for £85 a head plus service, (total bill £268), this should have been included, or at least advertised to be that way on the website.

Another wonderful evening at the little fish market hove . This was our 3rd visit and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous two .
The service as always impeccable, not intrusive at all , friendly, chilled and relaxed yet very attentive. Didn’t catch the name of the lady serving us but she was great .
The food was phenomenal, each course carefully crafted individually , the flavours were on point and beautiful presented .
We love the fact that the meal isn’t rushed and you have the table for the whole evening.

Sadly I was disappointed.
This restaurant has been on my bucket list for years, and I was thrilled to finally secure a table during Octoberbest. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.
The venue is now very brightly lit — such a shame, as it used to be softly candlelit, which suited the small, intimate space much better.
As for the food: my starter of terrine was just about passable, but the main course of braised duck was so salty it was completely inedible. When we mentioned this to the waitress, we were told “it’s supposed to be salty,” which wasn’t exactly the response we were hoping for. Dessert was the highlight — quite nice, but not enough to redeem the meal.
With drinks for six of us, the bill came to around £400. I paid begrudgingly, especially as no apology or gesture was offered after our feedback.

Not our first visit to The Little Fish Market, and it certainly won't be our last. The food has remained consistently good over the years, with faultless fish cookery, delicately balanced flavours, imaginative ingredient combinations and surprisingly delightful amuse bouches! Very good and deceptively large. It’s a relatively small collection but I could have easily spent all day in there because of how many specimens there are neatly packed together. The taxidermy and skeletons are all impressive and well put-together and everything felt very tidy and well up to date. There are plenty of spots to sit, including a cozy Victorian study. The museum was lively when my friend and I arrived! The animal displays were also varied to show the habitats of the birds, and some included prey. Not all of the animal names were visible in the glass cases portion, and there weren't additional placards providing information about each species, which I would've liked, but I may have also missed a QR code or something that led to an online guide.
The back portion was no less fun, and the informational placards there had some humor! There was one about the rhinoceros skull with artificial horns that poked fun at their value-- since they weren't real, they couldn't be used in Chinese medicine or we'd be sick or sold at cocaine-level prices.
Anyway, it's a quaint smaller museum in Brighton :) I liked it for an afternoon activity to spend a few hours in.

Wild Flor is just gorgeous - from the friendly greeting at the start of the evening, all the way through to settling the bill, we enjoyed every moment of our time here.
The restaurant has a really calming, cosy ambience to it. The staff are so friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and they had even written us a card wishing us a happy anniversary!! So thoughtful 🥹
There is an extensive wine list and a great selection of cocktails - we really enjoyed our glasses of the verdinho and rosé, and the Todoli Margarita we paired with our pudding was zesty, fresh and incredibly strong!! You have been warned 😆
The star of the show at Wild Flor is, of course, the food. We kicked off with the ink battered squid, which was expertly partnered with fennel, saffron, and blood orange. I haven’t had anything like this before - the combination was a bit mind-blowing!! All starters come with delicious sourdough bread and butter, too. We used ours to mop up the saffron sauce 😋
We chose the bavette steak and Chalk Stream trout for our mains, and shared the confit potato side dish, which was crispy and incredibly moreish. The steak was cooked to perfection. If I was being hyper-critical, I would say that the wilted spinach (which somehow seemed to have been cooked very well but still retained its crunch - impressive) was intensely garlic flavoured. I am a massive garlic fan, so not an issue - but even to me it was a little overpowering! My partner really enjoyed the Chalk Stream trout dish - I tried a piece and it was perfectly cooked.
We finished up with the aforementioned Margarita and the limequat & coconut ‘key lime pie’. This pudding was sensational - creamy, zesty, and melt-in-the-mouth. We shared the pudding but I wish I had ordered my own one to be honest - I could have eaten 10 😅

Me and my partner went here after being recommended by a chef I work with and it was fabulous! I tried the lobster special and it was the best lobster I’ve ever had, the potato salad and bisque was insane and everything was ultimately tasty. We also tried the beef croquettes, oysters and prawns for starters which were all delicious and perfectly prepared, my partner absolutely adored the chocolate pot for dessert as well. The wine list is perfect, I had the cheapest vinho verde as wanted to spend more on my food and it was still fantastic.
Only thing I wouldn’t recommend was the margarita but that’s just my personal preference (no salt rim, not on the rocks so if you like that then go for it!)
Our servers were great too, extremely good service thank you guys!

A thoroughly disappointing and expensive dinner out. The tomato tart was some of the worst pastry we've ever had, dry and absolutely flavourless. The £28 poached trout was really under-seasoned and uninspiring. The starter was strange and expensive and was made with cheap and boring salad leaves.
The waitress that evening clearly could tell we weren't content with our food, and to be fair asked clearly cared about that too. The bar staff were also very friendly.
I just could never recommend this place to eat, there are so many more creative and flavourful options close by. I'm sorry that it's a challenge as a local restaurant right now but it's just not acceptable to pair this food at this price point.
It was about £120-140 in the end for really underwhelming food which, frankly, with the competition is why I'd say go somewhere else.

European contemporary at its autumnal best. Lovely local and seasonal fare and not a small plate to be seen! By that I mean portions were generous which I feel helps given the price. Not extravagant but certainly a proper dinner out so to speak. We chose Oeuf for brunch based on its great reputation, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The cafe has a beautiful, inviting atmosphere and the decorations are a nice touch. I came to this cafe because it had a good rating and looked very cute. I ended up waiting for my order for more than an hour.
Before that, I had discussed with the waitress that I don’t eat onion at all and asked her to make sure there would be none. She even joked that she doesn’t like onion either. This was my second visit to Oeuf, and just as last time it was absolutely phenomenal. We decided to chance a walk in on a Saturday, despite the garden being closed this weekend we were sat at a table on the terrace within 15 minutes of our arrival. All of the staff who greeted us were friendly, warm and welcoming. Our server, Pippa, was so patient, didn’t rush us to order despite the evident busyness of the restaurant. She also Took time to explain the components of each dish and was very aware of dietary requirements which made us feel very safe. This place is easy to miss on your way past on church road. Although it's called 'Paris Wine Bar' it actually does excellent french-style tapas. Lovely decor and area out back with a roof which opens up. Great lighting which gives off a super relaxed vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We ordered a large selection of the tapas and it was all good pawns, meatballs, salad, fishcakes and ratatouille. I have attached a recent photo of the menu. I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago with 3 girlfriends and we were met by Charlotte (I hope I got that right) behind the bar. She allowed us to pick our own table out in the sunshine and brought our drinks to our table. It was great to see Paris Wine Bar busy on a Tuesday night. After a hectic Easter weekend, it was such a treat to visit a venue that never disappoints.
I went for the surf and turf and the chicken skewers. Both dishes hit the mark perfectly delicious, well-cooked, and full of flavour. Just what we needed!
As we all said at the table, what a venue. Cozy vibes, friendly service, and only a short stroll from the beach. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable spot with great food and atmosphere. Emily and Sam were great.

I've only recently discovered the Paris Wine Bar, and I'm sad that I didn't sooner. The garden area is divine, and the service is quick and efficient. The food is also really tasty – admittedly I've only tried the chips, but they lived up to expectations. The staff were very approachable, keen to help, and fun to talk to. It's a fantastic place to visit. Explore the history of Brighton fishing. Sit down and people watch. Visit the various seafood and smoothie arches.

Sensational. Visited for an anniversary dinner, and we were hugely impressed by the quality of the food. I'm not always a fan of tasting menus, but it was perfectly paced and sized.
I love that they're not trying to do anything too weird and wacky with their flavours. The menu consists of incredibly high quality ingredients, accurately seasoned, perfectly cooked, and paired beautifully with other flavours. The chalk stream trout, beef, and chocolate dishes will stay with me for a very long time.

Had dinner at Etch on Friday and was blown away by the food. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
We had the 7 course tasting menu with Wine Flight. Whilst the wines were good, none of them were noteworthy.

Having been to Etch before this time we decided on a guest chef evening. We had been to Glynn’s restaurant in Birmingham so it was the perfect pairing.
Superb evening began with cocktails in the downstairs cocktail lounge before being escorted to our table. Chefs introduced each course and it was nice to hear both Stephen and Glynn talking about their dishes.
High quality ingredients, superb presentation all led to the most exquisite meal. Each dish beautifully styled, tasting divine, perfectly balanced. We didn’t do the wine flight just a couple of glasses of our favourite Nyetimber English Sparkling. Was such a nice evening and both chefs came out throughout the evening to chat to tables and to say goodbye at the end.

I have to admit I never thought of Brighton as a gastronomic spot, nor did I ever wondered what laid beyond the last beachfront food cabana. I even just realised there was a 360 tower attraction 😅
So imagine my surprise when I got invited to dine at etch, a restaurant in the residential area - 10 min drive from the train station. The place, its vibe, the hidden bar and its unusual non-alcoholic menu - LOVED the wine - are worth the visit, even from London!
I had no reason to doubt the place, so I didn't check the reviews beforehand. And I'm glad I didn't because the meal was a complete experience that I could enjoy without expectations and with the genuine anticipation the 6-courses discovery menu warranted! Well since you're still reading, just know that the staff is the most adorable and knowledgeable, the decor is contemporary without being over the top - special mention for the suspensions and the Japanese toilets - and every single dish is a delight. I came here for a Kapow wrestling show which had a meet and greet with former WWE star Scotty 2 hotty and his son Keagan. I had never heard of the open air theatre before but I absolutely loved it.

A great day watching cricket, a lovely ground, but we did have an issue.
We brought our small dog with us, not wanting to leave her alone for the day. We were told that dogs were permitted.
Having purchased tickets for the Pavilion, checking twice that dogs were allowed, but not inside (understandable). We were told that this was permissable. We checked in, got great seats and then a steward came and told us that dogs were not allowed in ANY area of the Pavilion. Fortunately another steward came to our rescue and allowed us to sit in a lovely spot.
The stewards are great, very friendly and helpful, and want everyone to enjoy themselves.
It would help if everyone on site new the exact rules regarding dogs, but it is great to be able to bring them too.

Best place I’ve eaten in Brighton. Alice the lovely lady who worked there was amazing with her warm personality and her knowledge of the food and drinks was phenomenal. A quaint little place but they serve the tastiest cheese and meat selection. Went on a very hot and sunny day and so the place was very quiet. The metallic look of the tower was amazing, together with its flying saucer shape, the i360 resembled the feeling of some spaceship travelling.
The bar in the cabin was cool, and a drink there was not necessarily expensive.
Another good thing to mention was the great variety and quality of their souvenirs. Their shop at the basement was calm and peaceful, opening to the nice beach of Brighton.
About services: Although they were likely not the actual crew members of BA, some staffs did act as bossy as the nannies on a BA plane - this always lead me to question the standards of recruitment of some airlines companies.

We attended our sons football presentation here last night (31/05/25), I was so shocked at the amount of rude and unfriendly staff. The dogs used to be a good fun family-friendly night out. The lady on the tote desk downstairs (the one that made her own aggressive sign and stuck it up) was extremely rude and should have some training on customer service on how to speak to people. The lady at the bottom of the stairs as you enter, shouted at kids for running down the stairs, but they weren't running they were just a bit excited (these weren't our group of boys) threatening to tell their parents they were coming down the stairs and would throw them out. They weren't doing anything wrong, just someone on a power trip. The security and some of the management were on the kids constantly for running around outside - this was an hour before the dogs had even started, and no one was around. Some of the boys were upstairs (with adults) on a table and were asked to move downstairs because they were cheering on the dogs, and apparently, they were noisy. Absolutely comical. Isn't that the reason you go to the dogs! It is definitely not a family-friendly place, and i 100% wouldn't recommend taking kids. It felt like they wanted the football clubs' money but didn't actually want the kids there, but unfortunately, this was an event that was about the kids and celebrating them. The one star I have given is for the lady that was on the till in the cafe, I think she was the only one who smiled and treated kids like they should be treated.

I recently attended a crystal show at Brighton Racecourse, and it was fantastic! The venue was perfect, with an amazing variety of crystals—from raw stones to polished pieces and stunning jewelry. What made it truly special was that I could bring my black Labrador, Shadow, and he stole the show! I recently took my little one to Brighton races on a quiet Monday, and despite the weather, we had a very enjoyable time. The venue was pleasantly quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxed day out with my toddler. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, allowing us to enjoy the races without the usual hustle and bustle.

A lovely free museum. When I arrived it was my first visit and they had several weekends events on (Zine making and a Victorian lantern film show). It’s not a very big market but if you want to support local and small businesses, this is the place to come! It’s very lively during Christmastime and you can find a range of items from crafts to sauces to cheese to books. There are many fantastic stalls and on the top floor there’s some specialised shops as well. If you’re passing by, it’s definitely worth a short visit. You can also keep up with them on their social media to see which days there’s going to be Makers’ Markets (my personal favourite)

I love the open market and despise it in equal amounts. A form of gentrification with out the benefits of investment is semi present, loaves of bread available if you re mortgage your home. Fruit and veg over priced. The bacon and cheese guy is cool, as is the egg man, and the Japanese/Vietnamese place. Wish it had somewhat of a traditional market and a bit less shonky craft stalls. If it opened on Sundays with all traders and shut a couple of days midweek, it would benefit shoppers and traders. Otherwise it feels too much like a lifestyle choice for rich kids.

I’m convinced most of these reviews are from tourists, hence why they’re so high. This place is great for a good rummage for 40 minutes or so, but the employees and rude and condescending if you don’t fit their ideals.
My partner is from the states, he can get nervous in social situations, so when he was so blatantly disrespected by the cashier I knew I had to come on here and say something. The tone that was used and the glares he got were awful, all because he had to put a PIN code in a second time.

A great place to wander around whilst in Brighton. From Thunderbird toys to old cameras it has them all. Easily found down the Lanes just a few minutes from the station.
Remember to take a look at the clothing upstairs. Lots of unusual pieces up there. I have managed to get clothing for Goodwood Revival up there.

A lovely shop but miserable rude staff. Only one person at the counter with a big queue so I didn’t want to interrupt, waited and asked for a key, older man huffed and scolded me saying I didn’t have to queue for a key. ‘For future reference’ apparently. As if I would want to return after being talked to like a child. If there is one store you have to check out in Brighton it is Snoopers Paradise. We walked in thinking let’s take a look at what they have and ended up spending aver an hour there and we still didn’t see all they have to offer.
Great friendly team who really help out and spend time with you even though the store is always busy.
So so so much to choose from. Products from toys, cloths, antiques, jewellery, painting to almost anything you an imagine from all corners of the globe.

Snoopers Paradise is something that I've been looking for my whole life. Since a kid, I've always been snooping around in everything, drawers, charity shops, reduced isles, car boot sales, flea markets- and this place had it all! Boxes of old photos that use to belong to people, hug bags of vintage hats, and accessories.
Old school Cameras, Guitars, Furniture, clothes clothes clothes'! Trinkets, just so much! It's so much fun to look through and I hope to come back again! I'd recommend it to anybody who loves to snoop.
I ended up buying the cutest blue beret to match my outfit- even the tiles in the bathroom were the cutest vintage style.

Brighton Buddhist centre is a vibrant hub of meditative and Buddhist activity. I've been twice and have felt welcomed and accepted instantly. The meditation classes are well led and easy to get stuck into. The under 35s night is really well attended and it's a great way to learn how to meditate and meet other people. I can't recommend getting involved and learning to quiet your mind and open your heart with others.

Probably one of the better meditation classes. However, please be clear about the rules and expectation with new arrivals. The lady who led the meditation, talked at lengths at the end about her feelings about coronation, how as a socialist it does not sit right yet she respects the king. An incredible tranquil space amid the buzz of Brighton's bustling Lanes, we booked well ahead of time and built up a great relationship with the events staff at Fabrica. We visited Fabrica for the Forked Forest Path by Olafur Eliason Exhibition. The exhibition was spooky and very impressive. Walking through the exhibition have the feeling of walking through a real forest. It was one of my favourite places during our Brighton weekend. The staff was helpful and courteous and the exhibition really well cured. I would visit again for another exhibition when traveling to Brighton. Recommended for a visit for sure!

Whats great, and really important to know about celebrations at Fabrica is;
- The bar and the dancefloor are in the same room.
- It's got surprisingly good acoustics for a room with such a high ceiling.

Whilst visiting my son who had only recently moved to Hove. I looked online for a Presbyterian church to attend on Sunday morning. As there were none we attended St. Andrews!! It was a joyous occasion. Susan and I were warmly greeted. We took a pew at the back!!! when the rector Father Bill (summer stand in) came over and chatted with us. He then made his way around the small church catching up with everyone. The service started, which was led by Father Bill and a very talented bunch of musicians. The joy and Christian message was very evident.
A very uplifting experience.

Medieval Church... has some original painting on one wall. Plain and simple otherwise , original beams overhead. There are some rumours it has norman origins, it does look normam from outside. It is the oldest church in Brighton it served the community that once thrived there Artifacts are now in Chichester museum.
Plague victims are buried within a small pond at the top of the green but has since been covered over.
By the entrance gate on the right someone had written in the wet concrete whilst laying it down ' jubilee 1938 '
The graveyard is pretty with some interesting stone some nobility.
On a beautiful summer evening when the wild flowers are allowed to grow it looks like a picturesque norman church.

I knew Father Keith from when he was at St Luke's in Brighton. He has been there for my mum when our dad passed away from cancer in 2000 and he was here when my mum passed away a few weeks ago from cancer. He has christened both of my children and myself. This church is one of the oldest in Sussex and it is stunning plus you will never get a more down to earth, kind and funny priest! The first Sunday of every month is more laid back so if you are worried about your children like me then this is perfect. Will try and find some photos to upload.

We regularly go to the Secret Comedy Club because it has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Martin Warren, the MC, is brilliant and really gets to know the audience. We had an absolutely brilliant night at the Secret Comedy Club! The atmosphere was so warm and friendly, and we were laughing from start to finish. The venue’s really cosy — a proper hidden gem in Brighton.

Quite a fun night. It’s a small intimate venue, seating set out in rows. Martin the compere was an absolute blast. He took the time to speak to everyone in the bar first with a few sly questions and this made the night. He remembered everyone’s name and a little bit about them and he made a few clean and respectful jokes about us all during the night. The 3 comedians were fun, maybe a bit daunting as I think there were only about 20 people in the venue that night. Good selection of drinks, no food but some snacks available. I’d Definitely go again.
