Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the museum’s visitor-friendly layout. The whole museum is a rabbit warren, don’t be put off by the entrance thinking it’s small, it’s huge inside. There is currently an exhibition on the London overspill which was very interesting and well thought out. The rest of the museum is very good and interactive as well. We had tea and cakes in the cafe which were lovely as well. The gift shop is slightly lacking, could do with a few modern gifts (think coffee thermos etc). Would love a history of the military in Andover to replace the London overspill display next. Well done all the volunteers, you make it worth while.

Animal feeding and petting, multiple outdoor play areas, trampolines, inflatable bouncing cushions, soft play and birds of prey. My reason of 3 stars is that most of this are outdoor activities apart from the soft play so if it's raining then it's very limited on the activity front. The next reason was the price. Entry free for an adult and a child over 2 was the same price. For a family of four your looking at about £65. We went during this year's (2025) Halloween event and my kids wanted a marshmallow to toast on their toasting station. It cost £3 for a singular marshmallow on a stick! After paying nearly £70 to get I wasn't expecting to pay a further £12 for 4 marshmallows.
