The gardens are fine, the woods are large, and it will take a few days to get around if you don't drive in. This botanical garden is well managed, the service is thoughtful . there is one particularly moving thing to share with you. I am a tourist from China. On September 4th, four of us came to this park and came to the tourist center. After we asked about the tour route ,then we followed the line we had guided .Less than an hour into the tour, a park security service car came along and asked for our identity. When they handed a small bag to me, I realized that I had accidentally lost the valuable. It has my ID card, social security card, and bank card. I was so touched ，and grateful to them. Oh my god! If they hadn't tried to find me and get it back, I would have been in great trouble. We were deeply touched by their eagerness . We hereby pay high tribute to them! We should to learn the great spirit of loveing and helping others from them.

For $40 a person, I expected something far more immersive and spectacular. At best, this should’ve been a $20 experience and that’s me being generous. Getting in and out was super easy, which I appreciated, but once you’re actually on the mile-long walking path, the excitement drops off fast. You’d think along such a long trail there would be extravagant displays, synchronized lights, or at least some sections that really “wow” you. Instead, there were long stretches of nothing but darkness, broken up by the occasional small, messy-looking illumination that didn’t feel worth stopping for. The “ornament ball” area was especially disappointing, it was literally just blinding white lights, not festive or magical at all. It felt like they phoned in some of the biggest spots that should have been showstoppers. If you’re deciding between holiday light displays, I highly recommend choosing the Botanic Gardens Christmas lights instead. They put on a far more impressive, detailed, and immersive experience that actually feels worth the money. Morton Arboretum’s Illumination wasn’t terrible… it just wasn’t worth anywhere near $40 per person. Save your cash and go somewhere that delivers.

The only downside is no elevator. It is in another building. There are a lot of taxidermy stuffed animals, and specimens to see and the volunteers really know their stuff. Don was a great leader and presenter and all of the kids had a blast exploring and learning about the animals and history. I definitely recommend this place for a fun family trip. We stayed a couple of hours and the kids didn't want to leave. They have scavenger hunts too!

Area 51, now Indiana Jones, and Sherlock Holmes. Each of the rooms followed their stories and were appropriately challenging. We made it out of 2 of the 3 rooms with only four of us. The only way to get to this facility is through our Riverbend neighborhood. Cars consistently SPEED through and park in our guest spots. She told me there is nothing she can do on her end and recommended me to call corporate. I tried contacting corporate, but they never responded to my phone call. Now I have no pictures to look back on for my son's birthday for this year. Honestly, I am upset, and I nor my family who attended would not recommend this place to anyone.

There are no lights for the courts for night play. Netting is on the fencing to help with wind and keep in mind minimal shade. So far, lots of lessons are being taught here on Wednesday mornings, so 2-3 courts are used for that, not sure about any other days. I was told that so far, these courts have not been super busy. Hope these courts remain usable where many others are so packed that they are not usable anymore (I actually had to join a facility to play they get so crowded] Downers now has 4 designated courts of the 8 designated courts for only the pros which I find pretty interesting how's that even could happen.
