The pools were nice but they were standard with a waterfall...whoop dee doo. The steam room and cold plunge were very refreshing! Sauna and hilmalyan salt wall were super pretty and very enjoyable. Mega relax room was excellant for sleeping, and the ice room could have been a super innovative addition had it been set up and presented as such. I was really excited about this, as it seemed new and trending...and when I went in, in the morning there was no where to sit...so it was just a wall of ice and you were standing there looking and feeling awkward. Later at 5pm, they had benches down and it looked entirely different like finally the room was actually set up. At these prices, get your shit together Kohler.

We wanted to get out on Whistling Straits, but they did not have availability during our trip. So, we thought what the heck let's give Blackwolf Run a try. We were not disappointed. The staff in the clubhouse was attentive and welcomed us warmly. We had a tee time for later in the day, and were going to hang out until then. The staff said that we should try their Bath Course. It is a 10 hole course that was a great warm up to our round. They had music on each hole that was a nice addition, not too loud, just right. The course was immaculate! Perfect condition, the greens were fast but fair. A GREAT warm up. Then we went back into the clubhouse and the staff had a cancellation so we were able to get out on the River Course a bit earlier. We decided to get a four caddie to help navigate the course. We were paired with Bob Riley. He was wonderful. Great insight and helped me have one of the best rounds of my year! The experience was so great, that I am going to come back next year and play Black Wolf Run. After the round we had drinks and some food in the restaurant. The wait staff was just as attentive. Food was good. Thank YOU Black Wolf Run for a great golf experience, and another shout out to caddie Bob Riley for his skill and expertise in giving us a round to remember!

Every path and area was well layed out to accommodate wheelchairs. One of the exhibits had an option to walk up to it as well so had a ramp for chairs so no one missed out. It's also a generally very quiet building which offered a much needed sensory break. You can't bring food or water inside for the safety of the art and I did not know this. A worker offered to keep my water bottle at the front desk so we didn't have to go back to the car to drop it off which was VERY helpful. 💜 Also a thank you to that worker for not judging my Dad's joke. My Dad has a TBI and sometimes misses societal boundaries but the worker didn't judge. The multi stall bathrooms are not chair accessible but I imagine that the single person family restrooms are. The elevator is MASSIVE and has a few chairs in it to watch a presentation on a TV screen in it. There are places with darker lighting in them that preserve the art but also offered me a place to rest my eyes as they strain easily in bright light. The entrance is also very accessible and I felt so seen and thought about. Even the choice of solid polished floors for an easier time pushing my chair without getting stuck on other types of flooring was amazing. It was an all around great experience and my family and I will be going to the other art building sometime soon to experience more. We will also likely revisit this building. 💜💜💜

Not every wine was a hit but it was good priced and gave a chance to try different types. Hostess was great. Experience was fun. To be honest my husband and I each really only liked 1 taste of our flight enough to buy. He purchased a bourbon barrel red and I purchased a red blend. We loved them at the tasting. Spending roughly 90 total for 2 bottles. I got home and couldn’t wait to drink mine so I popped the cork…. Cork came out clean. No red wine stain, nothing to smell. Terrible sign. The wine was flat and had soured. Nothing like the one we tasted. We had to pour it down the drain as it was undrinkalble. The next night we decided to drink the other one in hopes it would be ok and it was a one off…. Nope. Both bottles were not corked properly and had gone bad. It was not a case of improper storage on our end as we opened it within a week of purchasing it. The bottling process failed them or they were pouring something different from what they were selling. Overall - I wouldn’t stop someone for going there as they have a beautiful location. But I would hazard them from purchasing bottles to go as they clearly have a manufacturing problem that needs to be fixed asap.
