My husband, myself, 16 year old niece, and 6 year old daughter walked the north rim but didn't do the stairs or suspension bridge. The place was ridiculously crowded, so we felt rushed. Not much of the town remains today however the General Store is not to be missed! It is housed in one of the only original surviving buildings and is well over 100 years old. Even many of the shelves and fixtures are original. It is an operating store and has a wonderful traditional appearance. An excellent mix of new, traditional and antique merchandise.
