This restaurant exceeded all expectations. We sat at the chefs counter and it was an amazing experience. It was great to see that chefs: Becca and Teri are truly cooking all the food as it is ordered. It is all fresh and cooked to perfection. It is all delicious. It comes out quickly and worth the price. Our server Essence gave excellent recommendations and was on point with all of them. She was friendly and helpful. We will be back every time we are in the area!

I was between a late lunch and early dinner and reviews looked good. I was given the dinner menu and I wanted to order light. Their tomato bisque with the fried polenta crouton was my starter and I would rank it as one of the best ever. The polenta was crispy on the outside and paired so well, perfect. I went for a side portion of risotto with asparagus. Risotto was perfectly cooked and the bite size pieces of asparagus were delicious as well. Dessert was a bit disappointing but I found out it was not made in house and since baking is what I do, I am a bit critical. I must also mention my friendly and attentive servers, Natalie & Essence. That topped it off for a very pleasant experience.

The staff at Polymath Park told me about The Kitchen on Main and the Salmon Burger after I was unable to get a seating at Treetops. It was well worth the drive. I went for the brussel sprouts instead of the sweet potato fries. While seeing a slice of cheese cake being garnished for a server before being taken I had to indulge and ordered one for myself. talk about easy upselling. Seriously great staff and a nice variety to choose from on the menu.

Stopped in for dinner. Plenty of available seating. We were greeted and seated promptly. Very nice waitress who offered details on menu choices.
Drink refills were prompt and never lacking. She checked back periodically thru the meal.

Carol and Dave have been in the Ligonier area for over 30 years. The food and the atmosphere are amazing. I would have got more pictures, but I was totally captivated by my date. The restaurant is in the heart of Ligonier. If you ever find yourself nearby, be sure to stop at Carol and Dave's. Walk around the town diamond and visit the many quaint shops. It is one of the most beautiful towns in the Laurel Highlands.

Go there at least once a month for dinner. Food is always excellent, atmosphere is cozy and service staff is on point and attentive. The restaurant is on a second floor so you need to go up a very narrow set of outdoor steps to get there if you park out front. I do believe there is an upper parking lot with easier access if you need it or can't do steps. There is a separate bar area with table seating available, which is more cozy and quiet if you can get a table in there. There is also a small room off of the bar that you could utilize for a small gathering of family and friends for a dinner or party. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Heard good things about this restaurant so decided to stop yesterday. It was between lunch and dinner and we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves. I'm not quite sure how to categorize this marvelous place; the Wicked Googly is a spacious restaurant, bar, live music venue, and bowling alley all at once. The beer selection is extensive with many regional craft beers in addition to the usual suspects. Relaxed atmosphere; clearly a favorite hangout. It was busy on a Friday night, but there's no shortage of seating. Locals are welcoming towards visitors, and the staff is great.

We had an amazing time here today. We bowled 3 games on 1 dollar bowl night and ate dinner.
The food was really good and way beyond what we expected for a bowling alley.
The pizza had a crisp crust and was one of the best we've had in the area. The pulled pork nachos were 10 out of 10. The googly fries were so good too.
There was a huge selection of beer on tap and we tried a few. Every one was good. My eife loved the seasonal selection if draft beers.
Overall this place definitely exceeded our expectations and we will be back again soon.

Upon walking 🚶 into your establishment you could tell it’s a well loved place. There were plenty of people drinking, eating and even bowling. We ordered a double order of their entrée sampler. Lasagna, Gnocchi, Stuffed Shells, Rigatoni, Spaghetti, Meatballs, and Ravioli. All of which was delicious, and covered in a fantastic red sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, and the decor was wonderfully homey!

I would give 0 STARS if I could. We drove 45 minutes to get there. 1 table of 3 just ordered. 1 table paying the bill. The server was in a huff. Short staffed. REMEMBER ITS NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT. We said we were not in a hurry. She comes to the table I start to order she says you can’t order any food. I’m not sure what that means I say what does that even mean. Her answer the pizza person isn’t here yet but the only thing you can order is PIZZA. The cook /owner is rolling pizza dough. If they have NO pizza orders why can’t the cook do a sub order. I say we really don’t want pizza. She says oh well you can just sit and wait till the pizza guy gets here so the cook can do your order. We just don’t want pizza so we are just going to leave. She gets a lil nasty I say you only have 1 table it’s not like you have ppl lined up. She yells maybe you can just HELP OUT. WTH. I will never go back. The staff and owner are just plain rude. Who treats customers like that. Food is good but the staff is not. Not worth the drive.

Service and quaint town atmosphere were fine but the pizza dough was the worst I ever tasted.
Cardboard consistency and absolutly no flavor. The sauce was good but couldn’t be enjoyed along with the toppings because seriously the crust was almost not edible. We all had one slice and left the rest. Sorry to post but maybe a recipe change just for the crust is in order ! Hopefully your other menu items make up for the terrible pizza!

A great Italian restaurant that serves up terrific food at a reasonable price. We never saw the inside since we used one of their three outdoor tables. The waitress was super friendly & helpful. We received their family pizza special which was a pitcher of drink (Sweet Tea), bowl of salad, and a pizza pie. All of which were great. The pizza was a surprise rectangle. And especially good as the crust had an unique bakery, pie-like consistency that held well. The sauce was a bit sweet, and along w sausage & mushroom toppings and cooked beautifully was excellent! My mom and I visited Rosalie's for the first time. Kelli, the manager, was incredible. My mom needed some ADA TLC; she made sure that we were comfortable. We tried the pierogi pizza, the grilled mushrooms and cheese, and the sampler which included lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli and spaghetti.............and the garlic bread. An overall wonderful experience.
After a long day at Idlewild Park, this place came up as a nearby option for dinner. We decided to give it a try (being only 4 minutes from the park)
The outside doesn't leave much to go on, but the inside is very well decorated. It made us feel as though we were transported to another location!
We had a nice sampling of many items on the menu:
- crispies. (I don't know what these are called) these little Fried crispy things with a side of duck sauce for dipping were great free table starters. I saved the sauce for my spring roll.
- Spring roll - classic; a bit too much wrapper and a bit hard to eat, but the taste was great. It did not come with dipping sauce but I used the sauce from the crispies.
- Ginger salad - wow. The ginger dressing tasted very fresh, as if ginger was grated in to the dressing itself. It said it was homemade, and I belive it!! 100% you need to try.
- boba teas - flavored drink with tapioca popping bubbles. Kids seemed to enjoy it.
- hot green tea - hot tea pot bright to your table along with tiny cups. This is a staple for me for this kind of food. Hot and tasty.
- sushi - classic sushi done as expected. No surprises here. We only ordered the avacado roll and California roll... So it's not real sushi... Just "sushi". We did not order and thus not experience any real fish sushi. ...what could we have missed out on...
- chicken on a stick - looked amazing. Suace was tasty, chicken was juicy.
- green curry - warning! VERY spicy! It was actually too spicy for us to eat, but the ingredients in the bowl looked fresh and appealing.
- Singapore noodles - now THIS was a hidden gem! Highly recommend. Taste was amazing. Noodles were skinny and light. Meat was cut tiny. It was easy to eat. Darn my stomach for not being bigger so I could keep eatting. Had to take it home... Doubt it will last a full 24 hours before I devour it.
- vegetable pad Thai - fresh plump veggies mixed with pad Thai noodles. Traditional taste done right.
- chicken pad Thai - ...why did I order this when I also got vegetable pad Thai? I don't know... But it was good. Had no vegetables, but I only noticed that when sitting next to the vegetable pad Thai. Seemed like the chicken pad Thai was lacking. It was still tasty.
The employees were very attentive to our needs, providing us with constant refills and asking if we needed anything. None of our drinks ran dry. All of our dirty plates were promptly removed.
This next part is for the toilets. Literally. I went to the restroom. Single Person space with a commode and sink. The door locks. Private. Clean.
Overall, this place may be a 30 minute drive for us, but we already committed to coming back soon.

It's a 20 minute drive to First Wok for me. I used to frequent Golden Wok in Latrobe and have been told it's the same family. We've placed take out a few times here and it's always been good which kept us coming back, but the last time will absolutely be our last.
When I called to place my takeout order, the man on the phone abruptly cut me off after only placing a fraction of my order to ask for my number and tell me how long it would be til pick up. As I wasn't finished placing my order, I repeated that I had more to add. He was very rude and rushed. Because of this, he misheard my order.
My wife and I drove the 20 minutes to pick up our food and another 20 minutes to bring it home. Upon getting home, I was very disappointed to realize that due to man's rudeness, he made a mistake on our order. When I called back to try and get a refund as this is unacceptable, the people I spoke with had no idea how to handle the situation which resulted in me having to file a chargeback through my bank.
All I wanted was a quick lunch but ended up with a major headache and a very overpriced meal that wasn't even what I had ordered. Needless to say, we won't ever be coming back.

Stopped in for a pre-dinner drink - bar is a cozy little spot (eight stools) and compact as this is mainly a restaurant. We were in early enough there weren't many (if any) people in the restaurant yet. Big wooden bar with a TV above it, and a couple of high-top tables in the bar area. My friend found Ligonier Tavern & Table by chance via a search and we decided to try it. They did not disappoint at all! The service? Immaculate! The food? We heard there was a grand re-opening of Fox's Pizza Den in Ligonier with brand new owners and decided to give it a taste. Make note that the new owners took over, made some serious changes, and reopened this establishment on 3/20/23. So if you are looking at any old negative reviews before this date, pay no attention to any of those and seriously give them a re-try.
We haven't had much luck with other Fox's Pizza Dens with consistency and customer service, but we were driving in the area and decided to give this Fox's a try. Like, my family cringes when we have to pay so much extra at other places, and you're lucky to get 2 pepperoni on each slice. Every bite was deliciously loaded, and the flavors blended well. Pure perfection! What I also loved about this establishment was the owners Andrew and his lovely wife Shela, also own a non-profit organization called Heros Never Alone. Their love for military veterans is also shown in their decor in Fox' dining room. A stunning wooden American flag that was locally made for them covered one wall, while table decorations in red, white, and blue are displayed on their tables and in their store front window. In their store front window, they show tribute to the veterans and also law enforcement. I was told that if I wanted to bring an 8x10 picture of my husband who served, they would display it. Their hope is to get as many pictures of veterans as possible so they can line their business walls with it. How special is THAT!?! Parking can be hard for all the businesses in Ligonier as there are parking meters everywhere you turn and you have to park and walk to your destination. This was no exception. However, if you are short that quarter, they are happy to provide one to you without worry. They said they do this because you are choosing to do business with them, you chose them for your meal. They also have a beautiful dining area outside with tables and chairs for when the weather gets nicer, you can choose to take your food outside. The atmosphere was positive from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out! Bravo Fox's Pizza Den in Ligonier! Service was excellent. We got.our drinks and food timely with an appropriate amount of "checking in" on us throughout the dinner.
Food was very well cooked and put together, some of the items could have used a bit more salt but that's just a personal preference.
We ordered:
- muscles: delicious! Highly recommend.

- ceasar salad with salmon: great flavor, salmon cooked well.
- chicken tuscany: very well flavored. Delicious. Mashed potatoes, we made better by adding more butter and Asiago cheese!

My husband and I were in a bind for our anniversary and had to last minute find somewhere to go, I'll admit the name deterred me initially but I was pleasantly surprised. We tried to eat at two other places before stopping at the Road Toad on our way home. I am here to tell you that I am glad that the other places didn’t work out. I had breakfast at Ruthies Diner today and it exceeded my expectations. The eggs were cooked perfectly, with a medium doneness. The sausage patties were much larger than what you usually find nowadays, and the home fries had just the right amount of crispiness on the edges. I'm blown away by the authenticity of the food, friendly nature of the staff and other guests, and the quaint nature of this family establishment. We had the loaded nachos which was amazing. The candied jalapeños were incredible. Pork had great flavor. I had the mushroom soup which was also very good. I had the prime rice which I started to eat before I took a picture sorry. It came with oaster mushrooms which were excellent. Asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious. I had my wedding shower here back in June and it was incredible! Highly recommend The Grey Goose for private events, we heard so many compliments and had such an amazing time.
We worked with Chef Patrick to plan the event and he was very helpful and organized and communicative. I floated the idea of a Paris-themed shower with “French” foods, even if it was just little sandwiches on croissants. He took the idea and ran with it, and made an entire platter of delicious French sandwiches and pastries with actual French ingredients. It was so detailed and creative and delicious! They also really let me run with decorating and making it my own. It was such a great time!!

Highly recommend! I kept seeing their post on Facebook and everything always looked amazing. We finally tried them last night and we have found out new special spot for birthdays and anniversaries. Food was amazing. We started with the Tuna Tataki. The mango salsa on top was so yummy and fresh. I had a Greek salad and the dressing was hands down the best I’ve ever had. My prime rib was perfectly cooked. My husband had the king salmon and was blown away. Dessert was a must. My husband had the chocolate pumpkin cheesecake and said it was the best thing he’s ever had. I have the creme brûlée the top could have been a little thicker and crunchier for my liking but the flavor was 10/10. Easily as good as some of the top restaurants in Pittsburgh if not better. Really excellent prime rib (served Friday and Saturday only, I believe). Hubby and I split an 8 oz portion, but it was more like 12. Whipped potatoes and roasted asparagus very good. Gray Goose chocolate cake TO DIE FOR! Hubby went nuts over it. Service prompt and friendly. Atmosphere fine. Your basic nice upscale restaurant. Fairly quiet on a Friday evening in October. When we need a night out and want stay away from the city atmosphere, we choose Eastwood Inn. Every time we dine here, we get great service and the food prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is classy, vintage, woodsy and best of all, low key. Prices are reasonable although seem high at first. But I am not going to a chain restaurant for a reason. I get better food and service at Eastwood versus a chain establishment and I am ok with prices as long as the food keeps the same quality and my service stays the same.
Year after year, we find ourselves at Eastwood Inn as our top choice for dining.

The onion rings were being ordered by so many, we had to try them, they were good.
Homemade bread was very good with very large slices. We had ribeye and T-bone steaks. The steaks were very large and thick with little salt or seasoning added, probably on purpose since you can simply add to taste. The steaks were also a little underdone, again, probably on purpose since you can send it back and have it cooked a little longer. Our server Cindy was friendly & attentive. The restaurant is an older building with a lot of charm. The menu is quite extensive with many options.

Enjoyed Excellent service for an early evening weekday dinner. Classic small hometown bar atmosphere that was quite enjoyable. Though the artichoke appetizer was “to die for”, the rest of the food, unfortunately, did not reach expectations. The bone in ribeye was just cut too thin to be classified as a good cut of beef. Then to be served with mushrooms from a can was even more of a disservice. The filet was tender, but lacked taste. The bar choices were good, and less expensive than an urban bar. I hadn’t been here since the new owners took over and was excited to return for
my birthday. The atmosphere took a hit when I saw all clutter on the front porch and when I didn’t need to use the buzzer to get in. The door was ajar.
We were greeted from across the room with “Yeah. Can I help you?” We were told to “come up here” with the wave of an arm. The team member went to the bar, looked at the reservations to confirm my name and then, from no where near me, pointed across the room and said simply “over there”.
The onion rings, sea bass and fillet were very good. Salads were pedestrian and the French onion soup base lacked any flavor. My biggest disappointment was that the bread was cold when served. Not room temperature but cold to the touch.
The Manhattans were fantastic.
The few misses with the food I could almost forgive. But, the lack of higher end service touches will keep me from coming back.

This is an old establishment dating back to prohibition and if what I am told is accurate was a speakeasy. There is a large porch for outside dining, and the inside is reminiscent of an exclusive club. Gentlemen do not wear shorts while dining here. We started with onion rings, and they are really good. I mean to say better than a standard order of onion rings, they are served with ketchup. The salad was also delicious, a simple wedge salad with house raspberry vinaigrette, carrot, grape tomatoes, thin sliced cucumber, and really good blue cheese. My wife had the spinach salad and said it was outstanding. My entree was a bone in ribeye, which was cooked to order and very good. My wife chose the pork chop, which was well over an inch thick and she said it was super. We opted out on dessert as we were stuffed full by then. This is not an inexpensive night out, but if you are having an occasion, I do recommend.

Casual dining and a relaxed atmosphere. We stopped for lunch on our way back to Ohio. They have about a half dozen beers on tap. Seating was not a problem on a Sunday afternoon. We chose to sit in the bar area. I ordered the Italian hoagie and my wife ordered a turkey bacon wrap. Slaw on the side. The Bubba Burger was very tasty. BBQ sauce was tangy and sweet and the fries were seasoned to perfection.
The chicken Alfredo was very good. Bountiful in portion and the chicken was grilled as well.
The Chicken Philly cheesesteak was fantastic! Juicy chicken and very good!

Where do I start?? 😊 we have been eating here ever since we bought our house up the road it's only a five minute drive but oh my lord because we were unpacking our new home and everything was upside down and we were exhausted by the end of the day .. those of you who have been through it know what I mean the last thing you want to do is cook ! The pizzas are made to perfection along with the wings we just had the pierogi pizza and wings last night for dinner delicious! It's one of my absolute favourites. They also have different specials like all you can eat fish or something and the desserts are the bomb the carrot cake was the best. 😊 the portions are extra generous you will be getting boxes to take home what you don't eat we always leave a box my crazy chihuahua Louie is always happy when we come home from there. Lol 😂 as for the wait staff they have made us feel like family since we've known them they're always smiling and glad to see you they genuinely care about you and will ask you like for us how's the house coming along ? They remember things which is so nice 😊 they're hard working people never standing around always taking care of the customers.. there's an ample parking lot they do get packed in the summer months more then usual as a lot of bikers and travellers etc stop in .. they have a big patio area with ceiling fans which is nice when it's particularly hot. They have music by various artists throughout the summer as well and it draws a crowd. All in all it's a good time at the Forks so stop in and say hello I don't feel you'd be disappointed at all. During a visit to Ligonier, I decided to explore the local businesses and stumbled upon Fat Daddy's Place, an American restaurant. The ambiance was relaxed and the music created a lively atmosphere. I opted for their Texan burger, fish sandwich, and cheeseburger. Although the food arrived piping hot and required a brief cooling period, I was pleased with the generous portions served. The server named Hannah provided excellent service throughout my dining experience.

Excellent place to stop and get a bite. Right off of Rt.30, with parking behind the place off of the side street, it is easy to get to.
Decided on lunch here the first day were were visiting Ligonier. From the outside, looks like an old-style road-house. Inside is significantly updated with a large dining room and a separate bar area.
We ended up sitting the bar area, which has a number of large screen tv's along with both bar and table seating. The bar serves the full menu and they have a rotating seasonal menu. I ended up with a club sandwich (great coleslaw side) and an old fashioned, the wife had a salad and a spritz. Our waitress/bartender was very good - even though the menu was new as of the day we were there, she knew it well. She also made a number of perfect drinks.
The meal was so good, we ended up coming back a couple of days later for dinner.

Arrived here between lunch and dinner and decided to sit at the bar. It was rather empty when we arrived but as the minutes went on the bar was full!! The bartender was super nice despite having trouble with the beer tap and giving me a non alcoholic beer 😂🤣. An appetizer of fried cheese curds was ordered and for the price the portion was great! The dipping sauce was also unique and good!! One food order was a burger which was of nice size with a side of fries. The other was the Extreme Mushroom Pizza! It was AMAZING!! I have had good customer service from a very nice young man exactly 1 time in the last 10 I have gone to the Ligonier PA Subway. Since then I have yet to see this young man. During the Ligonier Ice Fest, my husband and I stepped inside for drinks and a quick snack. It ended up being very crowded due to the festival so we chose to just walk around and take in what was offered for a future visit.
I love that the Christmas decor was still up. Gave it a festive feel that went right along with the cold and ice. A large fireplace gave the dining area a cozy feel.
You are able to order food from the counter or browse fresh selections from the coolers. We are very excited for a sit down on a future visit 😊

It’s a cute farmhouse market style place that even has bar inside. They have meats and cheeses you can purchase as well as wine. The menu has selections from breakfast sandwiches to lunch sandwiches with very common items to please most.
I did notice that there were many people hovering over the counter to get their food or ask for plates, napkins, etc., which is the same counter where you order and this created some traffic.
The breakfast sandwiches were $12.99 each and they don’t come with any side. They were decent, a lot of bread. The waffles were very good! We payed $42 for three items and a medium coffee. Water is also $1
The largest opinion I shared with the other reviews that’s didn’t give 5 stars was the service. Unhappy appearing workers at the front counter who were not nice or showed any patience if you asked any questions.
Overall, a cool place to check out, even if you don’t eat there. A different, cool addition to Ligonier.

They have a deli, a butcher counter where you can get right from the farm steaks, roasts, etc, and an amazing selection of pastries. They also have a store with lots of local, fresh made products and healthier name brand items. There's a large cooler with alcoholic beverages, but also coffee, water and such. It does take a little while to get your food, but it's made to order fresh and you wait fir your food at any restaurant, other than fast food. It's a little bit on the pricer side, but again, it's local, fresh, good food. I think it's worth it. I highly recommend Tubmill Creek.

I truly love this place, and I continue to support it, but it is not because of their customer service. Or really lack thereof, but let’s come back to that.
It’s a comfortable spot, with lots of wonderful seating options, and I really mean it when I say I love it.
I visit regularly for local grocery items and meats. They have the most amazing, giant cinnamon rolls, and I’ve been pleased with everything I’ve ordered, but I don’t typically visit for made to order food anymore.
The service at the butcher shop is always helpful and friendly. The service at the counter is a different story, and it’s unfortunate. I’ve honestly been hesitant to even post this, because I don’t like to leave anything less than a great review for a business, but my hope is that it can help them, and others to know that they’re worth a visit.. just be prepared.
It is pretty common for it to seem like you’re a nuisance when you’re at the main counter, and regardless of volume the wait times for food are always long.
I hope to be able to update this review in the near future, and I hope you’ll visit, because if you can prepare for those things I do think you can still enjoy yourself when all is said and done.

Wait times for food is “long” because they are crafting your meal with care, hand slicing your toast and hand cracking your eggs fresh. Second, the price is higher because you’re paying for QUALITY ingredients in your meal. Grass fed pasture raised beef is expensive because it’s GOOD for you. Homemade bread is expensive because its takes more effort and has again, quality ingredients in it. Personally, my fiancé and I are very health conscious and would rather pay extra for meals we can know where the ingredients are coming from and what is in the food. having this restaurant on our visit to ligoneir was a life savor! we only got to eat breakfast here but next time we visit we will definitely eat lunch or try out their weekend bbq! overall coffee was amazing and we loved the concept of a restaurant, deli, and mini grocery store all in one with locally sourced products and food

No matter how many customers are present the service is extremely slow with almost off putting communication between whoever’s taking the order and the customer. We had to verbally correct the order twice, still received the incorrect coffee order. We ordered 2 coffees and 1 sandwich. With no other customers present it took over 20 minutes with the sandwich coming first. On top of reviving the sandwich without drinks , Tubmill doesn’t supply a simple glass of water. They defer to having to purchase overpriced water bottles from their market section. Along with this, they expect a tip after all this poor service. With the poor service , unfriendly communication and rather overpriced menu, it’s not worth the good tasting food. That’s the one bright spot about the location , the food will taste good but you will have to endure extremely sub par service and wait times to get it.

Cheese pizza was a 3.5 for a thin crust, quality/consistency of cheese, and sauce.- I could only give 4. Good crunch but not memorable. Maybe if it had been hot? (Took it to go and it was ice cold within 5 minutes). Other versions might be better. Service was fine. One person was very attentive. The eating area wasn't very clean or welcoming. No napkins, utensils, or even menus available. The atmosphere overall was sterile-except the awesome idea of the vintage arcade games! The biggest issue was hair!! The girls working had their hair down (all long) and one girl's hung into our pizza as she was cutting it.

The staff is very nice and the food was quite good. Prices were pretty reasonable. There were 6 of us that ate our fill with plenty leftover for about $60. We had salad, hoagies, square pizza, soda and French fries with about half of the pizza and some salad leftover. The staff was kind enough to give me foil and containers to pack up our extras since we are staying in a hotel. In the book for the nearby Ramada, it shows a 15% discount for those staying there for the restaurant, but they said they have a new owner who does not honor that. What a great addition to Ligonier! We went on a Friday evening, around dinner time. It was busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table!
