This park has everything for everyone, from playgrounds and a basketball court for kids to trails and a restaurant for the whole family. The only thing this place doesn't have is a gift shop for shopping. There are a lot of trails in this park, some of which connect to Inglis Falls (around 1 hour hike for myself and wife). The trails can be muddy from recent rain and have many uneven grounds from tree roots and rocks. We missed the entry point to Inglis Falls, but there was one available, but you would need to pay a fee to enter (or free if you go from the trails). There is a decent restaurant on site with average prices and food and a concession stand on the side of the building. The park also had a fenced area with swans and other small bodies of water. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here whether you are from Owen Sound or just visiting. We spent a few hours here hiking and ate at the restaurant afterward. Also, the ice cream you get from the concession stand comes in a generous amount (recommend).

Lines are short if any and that is lots of staff around. You can bring anything you'd like into the park, so pack a cooler and stay the entire day.

I'm a disabled hiker, I have use of 1 leg and used my crutches for this hike. It is not wheelchair accessible at all. Wear good hiking shoes and be prepared for a bit of a challenge. Taking the upper trail, there is a large hill and some stairs to climb. The hill was quite steep, covered in roots and would be very muddy/slippery after a rain. The lower trail is washed out in parts and you need to walk in the river. Both trails are rough, have lots of loose rocks and can be narrow at times. There are fallen trees over some parts you will have to climb over. The trails are not marked well, look for red paint on the trees. It said it was a 15 min hike to the falls, it took me 40 minutes (only 25 return). The trail is rated "easy" in various places online, it is not. My able bodied partner was fine, my large dog was okay but didn't like some of the loose rocks. I found the terrain and hill challenging. I'm glad we didn't bring my mother in law (who joins us sometimes) because she would not have been able to do this trail. If you have mobility impairments please look at the photos and decide if you can do this one or not. The falls are pretty, but would be better in the spring. There was a lot less flow than in some of the photos (I visited mid August).

A few years back we had my daughters 11th b day here and it was a huge hit with her and her friends.
