People usually go for Banff and Jasper National Park. But this one you have to check it out and what it has to offer. Lots of scenic views and some lookout along the way. Since this place is barely driven by motorist I feel like the chances of you finding wildlife are higher in this national park. As we drove by we saw multiple sightings of bear and other wildlife. The sad part of this national park is when you drive along, you can see the devastation of forest fire that affected this national park. This park is a good reminder of how beautiful this country that we live and hopefully, we can respect it and the future people can see the beauty of this park.

It was about a 2 minute drive from Big Horn Meadows Resort, so it was super close and convenient. Staff was incredibly friendly and the Spy room was very well set up and the puzzles were a perfect balance of challenging + fun (we had to get a few hints from staff haha). We booked another room (Witch House) for the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Unfortunately, we misjudged how much longer we would be in Radium for and weren’t able to make it for our scheduled time. Although we cancelled on short notice ~3hrs before the booking and outside of business hours so no one answered the phone, we were still given a full refund no questions asked. I will definitely be visiting again the next time I’m in the area and will be telling friends about this place. A solid 5/5 for this location.

The cart was broken (they're old), had to feather the accelerator to get it to accelerate to full speed or it would just stutter and not go anywhere like it was out of batteries. One or two of these things I don't care, I let slide as a one off, I'm not writing a review, but for all of it to be off for something I just paid $144 dollars for sucks. Course was great, but things seem to be running smoother at Eagle Ranch for $130, i.e. new carts with gps, pyramids of range balls ready to go at 7:00am. And for you to get an experience at greywolf for just an extra $55 bucks... Just play there again if you're trying to get 4 rounds in. Hit up Eagle, Copperpoint, and greywolf instead. Skip Radium.

The starter asked us to start early, as the group in the tee time ahead of us was late, so we had at least an entire hole open behind the group ahead when we started. We caught up to them by the 11th hole and played the round in 4hr 20minutes, so I don’t think we were too slow. The marshal at the Springs needs to take lessons in diplomacy from the marshals at the Radium Resort and Copper Point, which we also played last weekend. They said our group was keeping up just fine. Im sure we’ll be back again same weekend next year, as we love the Columbia Valley car show and the 1200+ cars on the driving range at the Springs

There is a pump track at the bottom. You can access this via 2 parking lots and it's connected to both one near the roundabout. There is one is the radium parking lot. Kids will have a lot of fun. You turn left and walk along the highway where the incredible gorge is in the rock that the highway goes through to enter the last descent to the Town. After that, though, you walk along the highway for about 850m to get back to the original parking lot, which is easy, but doesn't match the splendor of the other 90% of the hike. And if you enter from this parking lot then you wouldn’t need to walk down the huge decline to get to the walking trails.

The old coach trail is all loose gravel and dirt and a little rough of a course for beginner riders that have never been on a real trail. My lady took a spill as she gripped the front brake when she hit a loose patch and wiped out with some road rash. She's OK, we turned back and went around town for her to get used to the bike and then we went up to the redstreak campground which has miles of paved trails and is way better for beginners. All In all the experience was really cool if you have never been on or wanting to purchase an ebike.

We popped in on Wednesday to see if they would have any availability on Thursday morning self guided canoe trip from Invermere to Radium. However after many hot days that particular day stormy clouds collected, we were told we we will get the wind but we don't have to worry as will be in our back.. Our trip first half was as advertised very calm and beautiful with bald eagle sights and beauty of nature. However stom came above us, we received heavy rain, our Canoe was very hard to steer straight as wind direction was against us. We had whitecaps river was not so calm anymore and I felt extremely lucky my husband knew how to canoe otherwise we would bail from this trip!!! I have to recommend cancel your trip if sky somewhat shows rain would arrive. We had to paddle last 2 hours straight so our canoue would not capsize..I understand this is not usual occurrence when it's sunny and calm but it was definitely not for fainted heart! We definitely never going to forget this trip😊1 star off as I felt we should it get map or more info regarding of the river..4 stars to James whom verbally explained tons of stuff( lucky us) and he was very accommodating.

There was no welcome and it left cold. We asked about flights and got a " yep what do want". No explanation, no suggestions just stood there. We ordered the Raspberry Cream Ale, the IPA the Red and the stout. It took over five minutes for the flight to arrive and I noticed at once they where flat. The ale was watered down and no hint of anything. The IPA was no where near an IPA. There was no bitter finish you would expect. The red tasted more like a stout and the stout was just dark water. I feel bad for the brewer as I would not want my name associated with that beer. It kind of made my husband wonder why he started drinking in the first place. If your looking for good beer, head a few hours away. There are some great places in Revelstoke and the Okanagan Valley.

Booked a site for my family weeks in advance, picking a site that worked best for our family. This site was confirmed and booked by Canyon RV the same day it was requested. Weeks later, with two days notice we were advised that our site was changed to one which was not ideal (very close to the other trailers, some sort of building or storage shed on the site and by a road with more traffic). We were told we were moved because the people staying ahead of our reservation at the site we booked wanted to extend their stay at the last minute and they didn’t want to move sites, so our reservation was changed. We were advised that they looked to see if we had stayed there before and since we appeared to be ”new” customers they had no issue with moving us and letting us know after the fact. When we reached out to discuss our disappointment we were told they need to maximize occupancy and would cancel our reservation as they didn’t think they were a ”good fit” for our family. While I understand there is a clause in their booking agreement that allows them to substitute sites, I assumed this would be due to a site not being operational, not because someone wanted additional days added on to their stay near the end of their booking - at the expense of others who booked well in advance. I would describe our interactions with the staff/owner as defensive and confrontational, despite initially reaching out for clarification and to gain understanding. I did get a response, however no remedy to the situation was made and our camping plans this weekend were cancelled as a result (the reply stated they ”completely missed the message that Site 55 was the only site in the campground that would accommodate your family”, and is hard to determine this is genuine or sarcastic with how it is worded). Sad experience as I have always had good dealings and memories here previously, and disappointed that I will likely not return with my family as a result of how we were treated. There are many beautiful places to camp in Alberta and BC and we are happy to give our business to places that are kind and thoughtful in their interactions and dealings with customers.

The young lady, Brooklyn, was so amenable and kind she was able to work it out for us. Marvelous RV camp ground just outside the village and down in the canyon by Sinclair Creek that runs right through the campground. Green and lush it's like a golf course! 😁. Huge sites well spaced and landscaped Green grass everywhere just a delight to walk around. Washrooms are nice and they are clean ( they could use seats in the showers though as old folks need to sit to get their shoes on and off safely). There is a path from the campground up to the village that's not far. Peaceful and Quiet down there. This place is a gem and we'll cared for. We Love it here, Recommend 👍

My wife and I decided to go on a little golf adventure so we called up Radium golf course and booked a TEE TIME FOR 3:15pm. On Wednesday the 7th of May. Wow what a beautiful course. We played it a couple years ago but it was good to be back. We rented a cart and for the two of us it was only $115.00 for 18 holes can’t beat that value. The greens were smooth and fast and the fairways were beautifully open. A couple tricky short par 3’s and a couple nice long par 5’s that you can reach the green in 2 if you really pound it. We shared the course with a some deer and odd ground squirrel. We were hoping to see a bear however maybe we were lucky not too. The pro shop had some great sales on and super friendly staff. They are working on the 18th green but says it should be ready in a month or so. Great fun course and with some challenging holes but easy enough for most people I’d say. To top it off we ran into Darryl Sutter as his group was just ahead of us and unknowingly parked beside each other in the parking lot. What an amazing guy and super friendly. We chatted briefly and he said they were just passing through golfing in the area and had a great round, they really enjoyed it as well. If you want a nice round of golf make sure to stop and play around at radium. You never know who you’ll run into :). Thanks again. We will be back.

It was our first time playing here. We were pleasantly surprised with the conditions of the course. I had read some reviews expressing concerns about the quality of the greens from last season but they have done a great job getting the greens in shape. 17 of the greens are open with only the 18th green as a temp green. The staff was very friendly and we ate lunch in the restaurant after our round. We all thought the lunch was very good. There is ample parking on both sides and there is pedestrian crossing for safe crossing across the highway. Expect to encounter wildlife on the highway.
