It is a about 12 km out of town, follow the signs. The road is through beautiful forest. There is parking at the start of the walk. The walk is down many stairs. The stairs to the first lookout is not too bad (80m). Allow 5 minutes down. The second lookout is down about 200 more steep stairs (200m). Allow another 15 minutes down. Then allow 30 minutes back up. Need about an hour all up. Need rest on the way down, and take your time coming back up. The walk was quite busy with people, considering the remoteness and fitness level required. No tour busses, mostly "locals". The view of the Erskine Falls is well worth the effort. The big problem is they have a communal speaker which is blasted so loudly by people who go in there. It’s super distracting and most the time can’t be drowned out by headphones. A lot of people leave without turning it off too so their music is still going even when they’re not there. Don’t get me wrong, me and my boy had fun doing the coaster and short circuit (get to do 4 different courses). But at $234 for the 2 of us, it ain’t cheap. I thought it was a bit much asking us then to pay for locker use too after forking out that much. The staff all seemed friendly for being so young. What left a sour taste and is a major flag however was a badly damaged walkway with loose flooring and an exposed screw/ nail. This was in the trampoline area. The whole board was bouncing up and down and could have easily come loose, It was a disaster waiting to happen for a kid to run onto it/ fall on it. I’m not sure how regularly maintenance checks are carried out, but I suggest these should be done a bit more regularly. Before noticing it I actually thought the boards all seemed loose and was amazed the stress the boards appeared to be under in that area. I took a video but unfortunately can’t post it so photo probably won’t do it justice. Someone else had notified staff prior to me and I believe they were going to check it out. Overall the experience was fun, but expensive. If your kid asks you for a birthday party here, you might wanna hope for a lottery win prior. And maybe do a maintenance check after what occurred today.

I would also suggest anyone under 110cm, therefore unable to participate in the better courses, receives their entry for free. We completely understand the reasons for charging an entry fee, but the current pricing for families with only younger children feels far too high. Compact apartment, but cozy and we got all d essentials we needed. Hopefully next time we could stay longer to experience living in the outback. Beisdes the supermarket, theres even a Halal Lorne Fish & Chips is just a 2 mins drive away ...and their menu is extensive!

This was a HUGE mistake as it is obviously a 4WD track only and I found myself in a very precarious position having to first turn around then was unable to climb back up the hill (made it on my 4th attempt, thank goodness!) Of course I had to abandon the endeavour and will be seeking out tourist information as to why there was no signage warning of such a dangerous, boggy (sandy clay) and very bumpy and hilly road in, being for 4WD only! There was one river crossing, albeit there was no water going over it at the time, that I know of. So at this point I have no clue as to how else to get in to see these falls. It would be a 5km hike in on Five Mile Track otherwise, but this includes a very steep hill, maybe more, as I didn't get far enough to find out!

Overpriced for what you get or should I say don’t get. No toaster in the cabin and only 1 power outlet that only accommodates charging your phone. If you try to use it for anything else it cuts out. The river and the cliff face are beautiful to look at , on a clear night the stars are spectacular.

It takes an awful lot for me to write a bad review, but this place has pushed me to this point sadly. My partner and I were meant to stay here last week, yet upon arriving we found the bathrooms to be in a totally disgusting state. They have been sprayed by insecticide, and there were dead bugs absolutely coating the floor. The smell in there was unbearable and breathing in the poison for even 5 minutes has left my partner and I with a cough and irritated throats even days later. I asked many times for the staff to issue a refund as we were not able to stay there and left right away, and they all refused to do so, literally laughing at the request. The disrespect and blatant disregard for their customers safety is shocking. There are so many lovely places to stay in this area, PLEASE avoid this one at all costs as it is a truly awful business to support. I have refuted the charge with the bank and even they are disgusted in this failure to comply with fair trading, and health and safety regulations and laws.
