I don't feel like I should tip a server for only taking my order. He did check on me once after I got my food but somebody else delivered it. I did however tip him $2 because I didn't want to be completely rude, but I don't think he deserved it and I hope it went to the hostess who did more for me and the food deliverer and cook.

The Avacado toast was amazing. Their biscuit and gravy are great, especially due to their house brand sausage. The breakfast potatoes were the best I have ever had. THANKFULLY I got my kids pancakes because even they looked at their plate and said “this is it?” Age 4&7 Add $3 and get them an adult meal because it actually comes with potatoes at least. Even the thought of 3 mini pancakes with no fruit cup or anything seems like a joke of a meal for kids. You must not have kids! Also no coloring or any kids activities while you wait. Not kid friendly here.. on top of that we never got asked for sauces or checked on, but we did get asked if we wanted our check before our food even got to our table! Very odd and I said no, we haven’t even eaten yet. Never got a receipt, have no idea what we got charged for. Wish it was a better first experience, I really wanted to love this place.

I have no problem paying good money for a great product but what I received today was not a great product for top dollar. The only saving grace was the lovely girls working at the checkout counter. The store is clean & well organized. The merchandise is exciting & fun to look through. They are well stocked with unique, hard to find grocery items. You order in back at the deli counter, then walk up front to the retail counter pay for your meal then walk back to the deli hand them your deli bag they give you at the retail counter and wait for them to hand you back the deli bag with your meal. It worked ok because the store wasn't crowded and the deli wasn't busy when I visited. It's still a strange process, especially if you have a large group or children. The food was great.

She took the time to ensure we remained safe. One of the great things about Cascade Caverns is that it retains much of its “natural” state, allowing visitors to navigate using flashlights. I went in because it came up as a place to find crystals in my little conservative hometown of Boerne, i wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. They took it very seriously and helped me choose the mats that matched the two colors of my antique map and then just happened to have framing material on hand that did an excellent job of showing off my now piece of art. Well, I just picked it up and it looks much better than expected and the price for such excellent service and quality of materials and craftsmanship was probably less than the guys with the 40% off coupons (really). This is going up in my office where I will refer to it often as it is not only impressive in looks but the information it contains it used by me on a regular basis.
