I got pictures of the menu and the sweet tea was tasty not crazy sweet. The waiter was mostly on top of the drinks and he was nice. The bathrooms are a little small but they are clean. It can get a little busy here but it is worth it, I recommend coming here.

Our first 20 minutes was a definite 0 star. Beautiful afternoon to sit out the deck overlooking the ravine and river. We were on the deck with 3 other tables being serviced, however, TWO waiters completely ignored my family and I as we patiently waited to be acknowledged and waited on. Never happened. Completely ignoring a patiently waiting family of 4 is never acceptable. The manager spoke with us and apologized for the lapse in service which we appreciated. I would return because Daniel was awesome and the food was delicious.

She actually wouldn't serve it to me until it had settled down....I ordered mine with extra spice and it was just excellent. The veggies we're served steamed on the side and all you had to do was set them on the sizzling plate to heat them up a little more in the sauce. The shrimp we're well cooked and flavorful. Watch your tongue though, that plate stays hot for a long time!!! Husband had Garlic chicken and pork egg foo young and also enjoyed his entrees. We first went to 11th Street and the service was amazing — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. After that, we stopped by another bar and also had a great experience there. Our biggest mistake was going to the third bar: Kickback Korner Bar and Grill. From the moment we arrived, the service was disappointing. We ordered palomas and they were honestly terrible. When we decided to leave, we politely said goodbye as we walked out. From a distance, we heard people shouting — at first, we thought they were saying goodbye back — but instead, they came out angry, accusing us of taking drinks outside. We did not take any alcoholic drinks with us. The only thing we had was a bottle of water, and our drinks were left inside on the table. The man who came out spoke to us very aggressively and with a rude attitude. When we clearly showed that we didn’t take anything, neither he nor the woman apologized. They just walked away upset as if we were the problem. No professionalism. No respect. This is my fourth time visiting Bandera, and I’ve been to several bars here with great experiences — except for this one. Based on the customer service alone, Kickback Korner Bar and Grill absolutely deserves the rating I’m giving it. Very disappointing.

Be careful what you post because there are many local people who depend upon their local business to survive, not to mention they employ people who depend on this for their livelihood. I went to this place when it was owned by someone else and i prefer the restaurant now better with the new ownership. I see a clean and fresh renovation of the structure and a spunky staff that is happy. I believe it is due to the owners appreciation and awknowledment of hard work. Bandera needs this local cafe because it embodies the essence of what the people here are like; genuine, hard working, and down to earth. I had a new server named Linda who was just as sweet as can be. She was super attentive to my mother and i and i witnessed her busily bouncing from table to table making sure everyone was taken care of. She had excellent table maintenance; drinks full, empty plates cleared, very personable and genuine. The people that work here 1st and foremost bring me back and the food is good and more than affordable. I dont often do this but 9 times out of 10 i love my experience so much i tip the check. So instead of give a 1 star review and slander a place, give a new restaurant some constructive criticism and allow them to make the right adjustments before persecuting them for life. Be human and help dont hinder those trying to make a honest living.
