Loads of unique products to browse in the shop and lots to choose from on the menu. The upstairs seating area is a beautiful space with an amazing tree in the centre of the room! I needed some jeans ASAP and to get going as soon as possible as I had an appointment. All of the jeans were on a rail in size order. I found my size and thought great. When I went to the counter the lady DID ask if I wanted to try them on and I said sadly I was in a rush so I had to dash. When I got home that evening they were absolutely nowhere near the size they were listed as. When I called to explain the lady rudely said “Well I did tell you to try them on didn’t I” She then went on to abruptly explain that vintage jeans could be an entirely different size or may have been altered. This request was made out to be an enormous task and an unreasonable request on my part. After some back and forth she said “fine, but as long as you come in today” which was entirely impossible for me. But you would think some who works in a vintage clothing store they would point this out when asking you to try them on. Eventually when I found something I liked the older gentleman behind the till reacted very oddly saying “congratulations you finally found something in the entire shop to buy” in a very condescending way. I set eyes upon a brown leather, aviation style jacket - very obviously American in origin and after trying it on, instantly fell in love with it.
