Though sitting at the bar in a group of three, with a total seven guests is the entire establishment, with three bartenders working....I was ignored. The other two in my party we served right away. Finally a tender at the far end of the bar, who had been watching, came over to me and took my order, while our bar tender in front of us continued doing minor tasks and making no eye contact. 11-22 speakeasy is so much fun. You might have to wait 20 minutes to an hour and a half to get in, but it is worth it if you want a great experience of a 1920's speakeasy.
You have a 90 minute time limit on busier nights. They only allow up to a 30 person occupancy, so they need to rotate people in and out of there.
You can make an online reservation with up to four people at the cost of $50 per person. This gets you to the front of the line with little to no waiting. You don't have a time limit If you pay the $50 per person.
They decorated with lights and Christmas decor inside for the holidays, and turned it into a miracle pop up bar. It's amazing what you see in there. Look for the elves sliding down the light poles. You will see when I mean.
I have met several of the employees (maybe I've been there too much 🤣). Stella, Matt, Tyler, and Jordan are all pretty amazing, and help create an amazing experience.

Started off with the fried calamari, delicious, huge portion - easily a main or shared with someone else as an appetizer. The beef short rib burger was amazing. Succulent and flavoursome. The fries were a little on the salty side for my liking. Fantastic selection of beers and other stuff like cocktails and spirits. Nice rustic vibe with some screens showing live sports.

When you think “Irish Pub,” you think run down, dirty, unsanitary restroom, sub-par food & drinks. BUT this place exceeds expectations by far!! The food was excellent, the espresso martinis were beyond my highest expectations & the bartender was of great service. Everytime I visit Paso Robles, I will be sure to stop by & support. Chicken wings & Shrimp Pasta were excellent. My friends ordered the burger & they said it was one of the best they’ve ever had. Kudos to you guys for having all around excellent hospitality.

Had an amazing experience at Pappy McGregor’s in Paso Robles! The view sitting outside was beautiful, and the atmosphere was both lively and inviting. We are from Massachusetts, and traveling in California. We were looking for a place to grab a bite for dinner. I found Pappy's online. We stopped here and knew we were on the right place. Pappy's is not only a great place to eat, but it also has a great bar. Its located on Pine Street in Paso Robles, California. Dinner at The Alchemists' Garden with my husband was wonderful from start to finish! Our days were filled with wine tasting, so having some fun, delicious cocktails was a breath of fresh air. The drink menu is extensive, so good luck picking just one! For dinner we shared the Skirt Steak and Fries. The fries were addicting and the flavorful steak was cooked perfectly. For dessert we shared the banana split, which my husband said was one of his favorite desserts he's ever had. Matt was our server, and he was fabulous!

Jessica, our waitress, was fantastic. Super attentive, friendly, and just great with people. Honestly, she deserves 5 stars all on her own.
The food, though, was hit or miss. The pork chop was massive, but the flavor didn’t match the portion—could’ve used more seasoning to really stand out. The halibut was nicely done, but the wild rice it came with was a letdown. The deviled eggs with curry weren’t really for me (kind of tasted like cold leftovers), though others at the table enjoyed them.
On the bright side, the fry wedges with all the aiolis were amazing, and the cocktails were definitely the highlight. The presentation was beautiful, and the drink itself was just as good as it looked.
Overall, the service and drinks really shined, while the food left me wishing for a bit more flavor.

First time visiting Paso Robles and decided to try Cane Tiki Room for dinner. We went on a Thursday around 5:30 or 6:00 PM and were seated instantly. The ambiance was great, and the menu had a lot of options.
We chose several dishes to share. The Spam Musubi and pork and Shrimp Dumplings were both tasty but pretty basic. We also had the Orange Chicken, which was a good mix of sweet and spicy. The Spicy Green Beans had a nice kick without being too hot. The Mini Ahi Poke Tacos were also good, but again, nothing stood out as unique. Out of all the dishes, the Chicken Lettuce Wraps were probably the best and a generous portion.
The cocktail menu was impressive. I ordered the Taro Taro, which I really liked, but the glass was packed with ice, and I only got about five to eight sips before it was gone. At $16, I expected more than that.
Parking was easy on a Thursday. While the food was decent, I felt the service didn't quite justify the price. If I went back, I would probably stick to just appetizers and then head to a local bar for drinks.

Our waitress, Justice, did an outstanding job. She was managing three different sections: one with five guests, another with sixteen, and a third with ten. So many friends and locals recommended this place and it lived up to the hype! Great seafood and the short rib tacos are delicious too. The oysters were a great deal and so fresh! This was our first meal in Paso and it did not disappoint! We ordered a couple of cocktails, the ahi crudo, mango cod tacos, the porkchop, a side of elote, and the flan for dessert.
Food was delicious, but we were blown away by the porkchop. Definitely joining our unofficial top 3 list of porkchops we've ever had (the other 2 are Penny Roma and Kothai Republic in SF).

Met some local friends while passing through Paso Robles and they recommended this place. We enjoyed the great service, the pleasing atmosphere, and the delicious food. I have to knock a star off, though, because the table was unpleasantly sticky. I think this happens when varnished wood tables are cleaned with the wrong type of cleaner? Also, there was no salt on the table and the freshly made chips needed salt. These nit picks are really just for the purpose of making an excellent place even better. We did a pit stop from Cambria to DT Paso Robles on our way back to Orange County. It was around 11:30am and we were getting fueled for the drive home. Having never been here, the choices were crazy. My wife spotted a sign that said "BBQ - down the alley" - and I said "um, yes, please!"
It looked like just a courtyard, but with a garage door open for counter service food. Prices were pretty decent and the staff gave us great recommendations on the food. I ordered the brisket sandwich with potato salad and my wife ordered the pulled pork tacos.
Food was amazing - probably the best Brisket sandwich I've had anywhere...including the full service places - potato salad was perfect, ice cold and had the perfect flavor of mustard/dill. The pulled pork tacos for amazing and just the right amount of heat.
Pro-Tips:
1. Park around the DT park and walk over - it's free and no stress about being in the alley with assigned scarce spaces.
2. Ask the staff what's good - they got us some bangers!
3. Cleanest bathrooms on site!

This might be a hard place to find, because the entrance is in an alley. When you get in there, there's a lot of seating for the four of us on a Sunday afternoon. There's a sign that tells you to order at the cashier and find a place to sit on your own in the small courtyard. Since we did not know what to order, we selected the barbecue sampler tray (brisket, pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, and bread with garlic butter). We did add to the sampler tri-tip and barbecue ribs. In addition, we ordered a side of seasoned fries. My family enjoyed the delicious food and would come back again. We went here with high expectations based on recommendations from friends. We live in the area and had not ever tried it. Have to say it was a big disappointment. The brisket and pulled pork were both good, but the chicken was very bland and watery. They only have one sauce, which is very sweet—not bad but just a bit of a sugar bomb. Amazing BBQ in downtown Paso Robles. Located in Norma's Alley, it is just a block off the square. The food is totally worth the short journey. I ordered the Brisket sandwich with a side of dill potato salad. I also had a local brew (brown ale from Wild Fields Brewhouse, located in Atascadero, CA) and my hubby had the house wine, a blend that Jeffry, the owner created. Both were delish. The Brisket was one of the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, lean as could be and seasoned perfectly. And the potato salad was awesome because I love dill and this salad had just the right amount. My hubby ordered the Brisket Mac 'n Cheese and enjoyed every bite. Again, everything was perfectly cooked. Service is friendly and the seating outside was perfect, expecially on such a beautiful night. Highly recommend you try if you are in Paso. You'll love it!

MY FAVORITE BAR IN PASO! Great drinks, friendly bartenders and all around good vibes! It is a cash only place, but there's a ATM so it's all good, I just wish they took cards. When I searched for coffee shops in Paso Robles one of the first things to catch my attention was the red half door at AMSTRDM Coffee house. Naturally, and pretty typical of me, I became preoccupied with sitting in a lounge chair sipping a cortado at the shop. As we walked down the street towards AMSTRDM I caught glimpse of the large red pane windows open wide and allowing the coastal breeze flow into the shop. I giddily made my way to the shop with a really good feeling about it. Walking up to the coffee counter I caught glimpse of the inside of a piano gloriously displayed on the counter wall. AMSTRDM is a beautiful coffee house made perfect for travelers, folks visiting with one another, remote workers and people want to sit, relax and enjoy the setting.
Here is the best part, the baristas were amazingly kind. They also made a pretty tasty cortado; which was exactly why I was there.

I walked in just before closing. First night in a new city, with a 3 a.m. bus to catch and nowhere to wait. I wasn’t looking for a drink, just somewhere to rest for a while.

At first, we thought this place was some kind of a private equestrian club. It's not! It's a hotel, with a restaurant and bar. We decided to return later that day for drinks, and I'm so glad we did! This was our 4th night in Paso so we wanted to eat a little smaller tonight and enjoy a drink. We chose the Pony club as they only have a few small plates and a couple appetizers. We chose a fig flatbread to start. It was great. We later ordered the slider trio and deviled eggs. We made a great choice with all. My goodness did those sliders have flavor. As far as the drinks go. The tender was amazing. He did not know the drink we ordered as it is not that common but he was willing to give it a try. Through our instruction he got real close. We weren’t sure what to expect from one of the more established, larger wineries in the area—but Eberle completely won us over.
The wine? Excellent. Every pour impressed.

Wow what a great winery. And Everyone is friendly. Kirk took us on our tour. Kirk was Awesome. He gave the best wine tasting tour that I ever had. We had pairing cheeses, fruit, nuts, and crackers. The facility was clean and we were greeted by golden retriever. I think he’s a permanent resident. I ended up joining the winery (even though I live in Tennessee), but it was all worth the visit. I loved the hospitality at the winery. We missed our reservation time but were able to sit inside near the bar where Mark served us so attentively. They served us complimentary BBQ meats that day which was a nice surprise and I never had such experience at any other wineries. We were able to join a later tour. There was no pressure for us to purchase anything but we ended up buying a whole case, being impressed by the generosity of this team. The tasting, tour and food are all complimentary. I would definitely stop by again next time we are passing through Paso Robles.

We were visiting on a hot summer sunday afternoon. Only 5mins / 3.3 miles from 101 ramp on 46. Beautiful property on a little hilltop, ample parking including handicap in front of the entrance. Friendly welcoming staff. They offer two different free tastings: 5 wines inside at the bar/counter or one wine outside at the large patio overlooking the vineyards, with addl. tastings for purchase. We were fortunate to have Karen as our wine educator. She was fantastic! I don't know if you can request her, but if so, do it. She's a pro.
There are so, so many facets about making wine. It was good to hear about topography, climate, co-op sourcing, micro climates, ... And yes, bottling and labeling. We liked hearing about elephant-influenced artwork for some of the labels. It was such a delight all around.
Oh, did I mention the wine? So great! I'm glad we spent part of our day here. It was the highlight of our Central Coast wine experience.

We became members in 2024 after a quick visit. We made several short visits to pick up our allocation but did not stay for a formal tasting until August 2025. We are SO glad we did! Mo was a wonderful guide through our tasting. She shared her vast knowledge with us, and gave us the space and time to enjoy and truly explore each pour. She tailored our tasting to our preferences, and she knocked it out of the park. She introduced us to Sydney as well. We look forward to seeing them both in the years to come! We plan to come back with friends in the coming months to share the Hope experience with them.

My husband and I made a tasting reservation to celebrate our 5th anniversary. This is by far the best tasting experience we’ve ever had. The outdoor tasting area was beautiful and secluded. The Austin Hope Cab is easily one of the top 3 Cabs we’ve had as well. But our experience wouldn’t have been as memorable it wasn’t for our sommelier Clayton. My husband and I decided to go on our very first wine tasting trip together, as a little belated anniversary gift to each other, and ended up visiting Paso Robles for a few days. We wanted to expand our palette for different wines, but something that we have always loved is an Austin Hope Cabernet. Coffee shops in Paso Robles have been on my radar since I started out on this caffeinated adventure, but I have never been able to get them on my itinerary when visiting Central California. Well, I finally did it and I am pretty sure I found two really great shops. They were full with locals and travelers. One of those shops was Spearhead Coffee Co. The line was long, the shop was packed, but it was worth the wait. The cortado was perfect and the vibe was exactly what I expected from a town perfectly situated between the beach and wineries. I sat outside with the beach breeze sipping on my cortado and people watching.

Honestly the coffee here left much to be desired. The barista with long black hair in a ponytail, I don’t think, said not one word to us. Shoutout to the barista on bar today with the short wavy hair — she was the only person who treated my friend and I with genuine kindness and professionalism. Our cappuccinos were great because of her.
Unfortunately, the rest of the staff made the experience uncomfortable. When my friend and I walked in, the two baristas at the register didn’t greet us, stared us up and down, and made no effort to make us feel welcome despite us being the only customers entering at the time. And cardamom latte which was yummy too although the cardamom flavor was very subtle. Lastly we tried the jalapeño cheese scone which was good too. We were visiting Paso Robles & we reserve wine tasting three hours before it closed & so we’re so happy they accept us. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
The lady told us they are full ant the moment and she decided to take us into called “Speak Easy” were like okay 👌. I know what is speak easy but others am with don’t have an idea. (Speak easy is a hidden place).
On speak easy room was quiet, dramatic lights & you think nobody there but about 6 seconds wow.. most tables are full. Got lucky one high table available for us. They had a display variety sizes of wines and love the design of the room.
We order cheese platter and served with the introduction about the wine. End up we order 6 bottles of Red Wines.
We were super enjoyed every minute of it. Unexpected great experiences.
Note: parking was tight during weekend.
Overall experience, wine is fantastic, place and server make more even wonderful.

During our too-short stay in Justin’s cool and comfortable in-town Paso Robles Triangle we loved the premium tasting featuring the excellent Isosceles and Trilateral, which were well-accompanied by the delicious (but too round for The Triangle?) baked puff pastry filled with Brie, and hummus plate. We recently enjoyed a special wine and spice pairing at the LXV vineyard. This may rate as one of our top winery experiences of all time! The wines are so lovely by themselves, but what an elevated experience when you pair them with a custom blend of spices. Our server was excellent, and Kunal gave us a short vineyard tour before we began our tasting experience. We hope to bring a bit of LXV to Indiana for some of our local friends to enjoy through the wine club shipments (that’s right, we were so impressed that we joined the club!). LXV is magical. We have been there a few times now. It is one of the few wineries that we always say that it is, each time, even better than we remembered. My wife and I stopped in at the tasting room on July 2, 2024 and we were the only ones there. This was the first time we had a tasting with what I’d call spiced cheeses. They serve cheese with various spices sprinkled over them and paired with their wines. This was a nice experience and unique compared to the other tastings we had done in Paso Robles. So… my wife and I were dining at the Alchemist. Here we meet one of the owners and his wife. They introduce us to Tony - the “brain” behind the cocktails in “The Remedy”.
Tony takes us to The Remedy and starts telling us about the place and the cocktails - how cocktails are invented, where and how he gets inspired, how he/they then crafts the cocktail through hours/days/weeks of experimenting.
It was an absolutely amazing experience talking with Tony.

We came to the Remedy to celebrate my boyfriends moms birthday and we had the most incredible time. Tony is a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed listening to him describe the drinks they were making as well as the chemical processes behind their invention and creation. Cute little speakeasy with some nice ideas but execution is a little off. The atmosphere is great but it's a small space so if there's an obnoxious group there it's going to be very loud. The movable bar is a fun concept and the bartender was super personable. However, all the cocktails are entirely premade and we weren't wowed by any of the four we had between us.
