The grounds are in lovely condition with ample well maintained sidewalks and patios.
Inside the property reflects the charm and history of the area with access to a number of large rooms, ballrooms and a spacious courtyard, complete with local vendors offing their goods.

Nice views and vista overlook that’s less than 10 minutes from downtown Ensenada. To get there, you have to drive up a semi-steep hill and park on a somewhat hidden road. Be careful, cars have a blind spot driving up! Once you are on top, the street parking is on the right side, next to the entrance to the gates community (pictured). When you are leaving, you make a tight u-turn back up. Once you park, walk across the street the overlook is a short walk away. No wheelchair access but older folks/disabled folks have access and can take their time to get there once they cross the street. The location is not the cleanest and the city could clean it up a bit but great overall!

La gota que derramó el vaso en nuestra última visita fue ya situación que se presentó con el gerente o dueño, el mesero al verse muy encamotado porque era el único atendiendo, tiró sin querer un plato, este señor (que yo creo era uno de los dueños por su facha y actitud) salió aplaudirle y a reclamarle el que haya roto el plato, lo amenazó con cobrárselo y le recriminó allí frente a los comensales actitudes y situaciones pasadas, de muy mal gusto.
Tomando en cuenta que cada que vamos (somos 3, 2 adultos y una niña) y sin pedir un banquete o tomarnos el bar entero pagamos de $3 mil a $4 mil pesos, creo que mereceríamos algo mucho mejor en cuanto a calidad, servicio y porciones.

Hubbs and I went here because we saw someone getting picked up and turned upside down by the server. It was hilarious. Once inside, we ordered beer and people watched. To be honest, it was a little loud and some of the customers paid to get picked up and shaken upside down with a shot in their mouth all at once - some of those customers have no business getting picked up (they were very large people) I know some of you may say "how mean" that is to say, but it's true. We didn't know what to expect but my wife said it was a highlight for a cruise stop in Ensenada and I'm glad we came.
Although we were here reasonably early around midday the music was loud and the staff were doing their thing to get everyone in the mood.... So much whistle blowing and people being turned upside down and shaken... Still haven't worked out why and what purpose but it seemed fun... Hate to be a lady without appropriate support of you get what I mean.

The tour was amazing! Eugenia and Rick met us at a beautiful Cultural Center near the cruise terminal that was just a short walk. Rick took my husband and I on a customized tour since we really wanted to visit El Cielo Vineyard and we wanted to have grilled octopus on this day. Rick catered to us the entire time! He took us to amazing wineries including El Cielo which was breathtaking. We did their underground cellars wine tasting with 4 great wines plus a “Mexican champagne “ they make there! They explain everything so well. The underground cellars are breathtaking ! Eugenia made an amazing recommendation to try the chocolate wine pairing. Absolutely amazing and must do!!! We enjoyed our day to the fullest and can’t wait to come back and try other wineries in the Guadalupe Valley with this company. Oh and Rick took great pics of us! We really enjoyed this wine tour, the wineries were great and the food was first class. Having Eugenia as our tour guide was a great experience. She personalized the tour with gift bags and waters. Her knowledge of Ensenada and the Valle de Guadalupe was very professional.

I cannot say ENOUGH good things about this tour company! I just booked my 4th tour with them, and will continue to recommend to friends and family. The best part is they can either plan for you, or you collaborate on what experience you’d like/occasion. Ask for Eugenia and Sam as your tour guides! You will not be disappointed. This was the best decision we made the entire trip! Jorge took us to La Bufadora in a nice car and gave us a lot of information about the area as we drove along. He provided water and snacks. If you are staying out of our pick up range, please meet us at the CENTRO SOCIAL, CULTURAL Y CIVICO RIVIERA ENSENADA, where the parking lot is free and safe.
Your tour guide will wait for you by the main wooden front door, and will confirm with you the pick up time within 24hrs before the tour.

Excellent pre-tour communication. Great tour guide. But we had trouble finding the meeting place. Horseback riding on the beach was fun but that part of it was a little sketchy. The guy walking alongside the 3 of us did take photos of us though. Kayaking was cool, great guides; a lot of physical exertion. I think it was the best tour to choose from what’s available in Ensenada.

What a fantastic experience! I was very impressed with the high level of communication as well as the super friendly staff. The trip was exhilerating yet at the same time, as a beginner, I felt very comfortable and safe. There were more experienced kayakers in the group but I never felt intimidated. Great yacht experience! My friends and I had a blast sailing around Ensenada. This yacht was perfect for our group of 9 and could definitely fit some more. Plenty of room on the deck and a lovely area inside/downstairs for drinks, snacks, and all of our belongings!

We did this boat tour in ensenada off a cruise with my family of 8. Was perfect, easy to fit in port day, arranged some snacks for kids, and my 12 year old got to do some ocean fishing - trolling for the first time. Saw sea lions, and dolphins! Great service and was way cheaper than the cabo options I saw. Boat was nice. Captain Gerardo was great with the kids. Anchoring and swimming was nice for the kids, but not clear enough for snorkeling.

If there were more stars to give we would!! My family & I had an amazing time on our fishing trip in Ensenada. We visited Ensenada by our cruise ship and were not interested in any excursions the boat was offering. We were initially nervous to use an outside source for excursions while there but I can assure you Ensenada Excursions and tours demolished all fears after our experience with them. Ensenada Excursions and tours is THE company to go with while in Ensenada. The communication, customer service & experience is 100% worth your time and money. We will be back & recommend them to all of our family/friends!!
