However hygiene was a concern as both of our drinks had flies in as well as black sediment floating around, and lipstick marks on the rim on one of the glasses. The roasts came quickly however there was an inch of twine in one of them which was almost choked on. The paintings are also covered in mould which is a shame because the atmosphere was quite nice. I think if it had better health and safety checks it would be a great pub. Drinks were taken off the bill as a gesture of good will which was much appreciated - thank you to those who served us!
