It is a little gem a not too far off the main Street in Fredericksburg, also not far from restaurants that you could walk to in about 15 minutes or drive to. The location was quiet; it felt private and insulated from traffic. At the motel, you park your vehicle in the carport adjacent to your room. The place was quiet, clean, smelled good, no bugs or mold. A/C worked well. No gross carpets, only wood floors. There was a mini fridge and microwave, and a table with two chairs. Bathroom was small but good with the exception of the shower head suffering from limescale buildup, which is common in Central Texas. The beds were good. Of the pull-out bed in the couch, the mattress was stained (both sides) and in need of replacement. And the bedspread covering the couch also didn't look great (some stains). But those were minor things that would not deter me from staying here again. There was a small front porch with a bench which was nice to sit on just to be outdoors while everyone else got ready inside the room. The breakfast was Continental style breakfast (pre_packaged) such as pastries, granola bars, little cereal boxes, coffee, etc. Happy to say there were vegan options during my visit. The location is prime, most likely you can park your car for the entirety of your stay, everything you need (and a lot that you don't need) is within walking distance. So yes. I was an interim GM for the Inn many years ago for two weeks as the new manager taking over for the departing manager could not be there during that two week period. I had a great experience and visited with employees that I had worked with. They made us feel right at home. So take it from a former GM for two weeks. It is a great place to stay and the rates are not exorbitant.

Zero issues. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location is conveniently located in a neighborhood very close to downtown, so if waking up to a 10 mile view of the rolling hills is what you're after, look elsewhere. The locals tell us Fredericksburg is two different towns depending on whether you're here for the weekend or mid week. For us, Tuesday-Thursday parking was easy downtown, too.

They had us fill out paperwork about medical conditions, where we want massaged, where we DIDN'T want massaged. They didn't seem to pay attention to any of that. I just wish it wasn't so much or they did the job that was asked. We did reserve the last hour they were open, so maybe they were just tired or had a rough day themselves. Our room threw us for a second. No lounge chair, no couch. Just 2 Queen beds, 2 chairs at the built-in desk, a dresser, and a mini fridge. What the room lacked in furniture however the mattress made up for in comfort! Best hotel mattress I've ever stayed on! Now for their breakfast, they serve a limited (but still free) breakfast of Texas-shaped waffles (the best kind!) cereal, various breads, yogurts and muffins. If you are wanting a FULL breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits etc) you'll have to go somewhere else. If I have to put a negative on this stay that is the only one I would have. All in all a we had a great stay at a great place ❤️
