On arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to our table with the drinks order being taken immediately. Once the drinks arrived we ordered our food. The menu had great choices and it had a value section available till 5pm. Food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which was great considering how busy they were. I’m a vegetarian and initially ordered the Spinach and Ricotta Lasagne, only to be told it wasn’t available. No problem - I then asked for a pizza, which also wasn’t available. We weren't impressed on the first night we arrived. There was no information about what to do and whether we went to the bar and order or or it was a table service pub. We were escorted to our table and thats when we found out it was table service. The table service was slow, you could see that the staff were working flat out though. Our drinks arrived eventually and then we had to flag down a waiter to take our meal order, as everybody was busy. So after a while our meal arrived which turned out to be not what my partner ordered, so it had to go back, the waitress then tried to take my meal away but I didn't let her as I was nervous I wouldn't get it back ! and I'm a diabetic and had just had my insulin as soon as the food arrived. I felt sorry for my other half who then had to watch me eat mine. The food for my partner arrived pretty quickly though, and thats why I gave them a 4 star. The food was nothing special and some of it was a bit cold. But my partner had theirs and said it was nice. We won't be coming back though after this weekend, the staff weren't really friendly either, they were too rushed off their feet to care. We came back on Saturday night as and there was a totally different atmosphere. Everybody serving us were friendly and looked after us very well. The food was great and very hot a big difference to Friday night. But they are short staffed and this has got to be taken into account, if anyone comes here.

The food is worth a visit, wherever you may live, make a trip just to experience the best vegan pub food we have ever experienced. We ate everything we ordered, and got dessert to go because we were so full and it was so good. We shared a main and three sides to enjoy a bit of everything. The serving team were great; super friendly and chatty. Dogs are well catered for with blankets, treats and a doggy menu which made our whole family feel welcome and special. The only downside was other people watching videos on their phones upset the ambience; when you’re trying to eat amazing food in good company, you want to hear Fleetwood Mac on the sound system, not someone else’s main character energy- so maybe asking people not to use the volume on their phones would help. Food was great and portion sizes were huge! This could be the first place I’ve been where portions are actually abit too big. Every side can easily serve atleast 2 people, the prices misled me slightly because everything was so cheap so I thought the portions would be small. Service from the staff was flawless, they accommodated for us at every turn however they were limited in how much they could do. For instance our table was booked for 6:10pm however we didn’t get seated and had to wait outside in the cold until gone 6:30pm. This was because a large group booking had run over by quite a lot. Meaning quite a few people were waiting. Totally out of the staffs control but far from ideal for the customers. There was also no table service and you have to order at the bar, this takes away from the restaurant feel and makes it seem more like a fast food place, the queue can be long sometimes too. I wanted to order a milkshake before leaving and when I finally go to the till they had run out which was again nobody’s fault but annoying to queue for nothing. The atmosphere was pretty good, the place was nicely decorated and all the customers seemed happy enough. There was some rather loud music and constant people coming in to collect food orders, neither were an issue to me but I know those things could disturb some people. I will definitely be going back as the food was amazing and I never got to try one of the milkshakes! Thank you Sharkbite Burgers for a great evening :)

Julio and Amaia were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. Julio, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and brought such warmth and positivity to the occasion. A standout moment was when they surprised the mum-to-be with a complimentary dessert and a Polaroid photo, complete with a beautifully handwritten message. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the day even more memorable. We all left with full stomachs and huge smiles. I was appalled by the service! We received our order after an hour, only to open to door to the delivery man who was not wearing a mask and did not show any signs of social distancing. I quickly paid and this was my first mistake I did not check my order before handing over the money. We opened the order to find a meal was missing and this was my 5 year olds meal who was patiently waiting for his meal only for me to say he would have to wait longer while we complained and they redelivered it. Secondly we ordered two mixed grills when ordering we were asked if we wanted sauce and salad to which we replied can we have them separately. Upon arrival the salad was separate but the grills were covered in garlic sauce this now caused more anguish as my eldest has allergies towards sauces and couldn’t eat any of the £30 meal that I ordered. When calling and complaining we were told the burger meal would be sent out and they just ignored and agreed the request another grill to be sent out without sauce. Second delivery arrived we checked only a burger meal, we rang back again explaining we didn’t ask for sauce on the meals and when asked for salad and sauce and we replied separately we meant both not only salad. After many times of talking to several people on the phone they argued with us that we should have specifically said sauce separately too and it was our fault. I have never had this problem with any take away I have ordered from and can definitely say the way they spoke to me was unacceptable. I will not be ordering from this place again and if anyone wants their delivery ordered and delivered correctly with socially distancing guidelines applied I would advise to go elsewhere!
