The benigets are crispy on the outside yet fluffy inside and have a nice balance of sweetness. The chicken biscuit gravy is bigger than it appears in the picture, definitely a full meal. The handmade biscuits are perfect for soaking up the skillet gravy that will take you back to grandma's in one bite. The kick of flavor of the chicken strips along side the crispy skin makes a delicious combination with the biscuits and gravy. The crossiant French toast with seasonal fruit was good but unfortunately this is where a star was lost due to the meat flavor transfer from the grill. My wife does not typically eat meat and the lack of it on this dish is why she ordered it, so for it to have the meat flavor on the crossiant and the strawberries ended her meal. We will definitely try this place again and highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any salad dressing for my salad, but I still ate it anyway. Lol I licked my plate clean!!!! Do you hear me? Not to mention, the lemon cake was so soft, moist, and delicious. Everything was a 10/10. That plate didn’t stand a chance. It was demolished before I even made it to my destination. After ordering our food we found out they closed at 3p but they had no issue at all serving us. We thought they closed at 7 as advertised on google. We felt terrible but they couldn’t have been more kind and willing to serve us regardless. Mme. Jacqueline came and greeted us herself. She is the kindest and sweetest woman! We just love her so much! My husband ordered the fish with crawfish étouffé that he must have talked about for at least a week afterwards. It was divine. I enjoyed the shrimp linguine which was so delicious also! We couldn’t have been more pleased! The environment including Mme. Jacqueline makes you feel like you’re eating at your grandmothers house. She’s so inviting, the restaurant is cozy, nothing fancy. A place to enjoy good Cajun cooking and wonderful company! Our second evening Chez Jacqueline was for her Valentine’s Day 8 course dinner meal! It was fantastic! The food was different and delicious! There was a gentleman playing the guitar while singing all evening. There were red heart balloons everywhere. Each woman received a box of chocolates and a beautiful rose upon arrival. The wine of your choice was served as the courses began. We couldn’t have asked for a better Valentines dinner experience! As others have said, Mme. Jacqueline prepares everything fresh. This is not a fast food restaurant. She takes her time and you can tell she truly loves to serve. Mme. If they could figure out how to resolve the few things that I have expressed my opinion on then I can see my family going and sitting outside to enjoy a beautiful afternoon or evening meal..

Everyone knows u have to have sauce with your breadsticks , so we turn around to drive back only to be told after we got 1 small cup of sauce that we had to pay for the 2nd one we asked for. For a moment I thought it had to be my imagination bc I know this woman who was so rude as well as the other staff working with her was to us that she really just said we had to pay for a an extra cup of sauce after they forgot the 1st one and we had to drive all the way back. So if course I told her that, and with her nasty attitude said well it’s 1.09 so I’m sorry have a good day and closed the window on us. At that moment I realised she didn’t hate her job she must hate herself, and I let her know she must have meant goodnight bc the doors were locked on us bc it was 10 at night . I got a Double Burger with fries and boy did I under estimate the size of this thing. I couldn’t finish it but I gave it my best. The burger was a perfect messy burger. If i was to complain about anything, I would say they could use the seasoning that they put on the fries for the burger patties as well.
