Even though it was outdated, it was clean and the staff was very kind and friendly. I noticed the painting from Clementine Hunter so I was excited to see that picture right where we sat. Yes there was a bus group in the back but they advertise buses welcome. They need to decide if the bus or regular customers are worth it because they obviously can’t accommodate both. Very nice view by the lake. Cozy patio with fire makes it best for a date in the evening. I ordered the soup, ceviche and the ahi tuna. He seemed very blasé about it and said nothing further. As I walked out of the shop, I took another drink and got more boba. After I spit those out, I looked at the bottom of the cup, and there were 3-4 more still in there. I asked my husband if I could have a drink of his latte to get the slimy feeling out of my mouth, and his latte tasted exactly like plain old drip coffee. I looked at him, and he told me he didn't have it remade after he saw what the woman did to my drink. The woman was talking and laughing with the couple sitting at the bar the entire time she was making our drinks, so I'm assuming she missed some steps, or maybe she's just not good at her job- I don't know. As cool as the store is, I see no reason to return and spend money on worthless products. Our drinks were tossed in the first trashcan we came across as we returned to our vehicle.

Then a small group of 4 people walked in and all the workers were in the back. The young new girl came out and looked around and walked back in. Then another girl came out and said you know it’s a 25 min wait and they said okay. They never asked for drinks or our order. They had them waiting, and they walked out. You could smell the weed coming from the back when they would open the door. When I left, I saw 3 workers sitting outside chilling. One of the workers had been outside since we 1st pulled up. I don’t know what’s going on but I have called once before to report it and I see nothing has been done.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is a very minute detail that just always bugs me about restaurants. We will start with this detail. I got Mac and cheese as a side order and it was delicious, wonderful. But they put bell peppers in it. I like bell peppers. But they didn’t state on the menu that it had them and that’s a big pet peeve of mine because I’m sure a lot of parents have ordered this item and ended up having it not eaten by their children because of the miscommunication. But it really is delicious. My actual meal was the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and I chose brown gravy. Well my goodness the patty was bigger than my face. I had a generous amount of gravy. It tasted like they had gone to great lengths to perfect the seasoning ratio and they succeeded. Even the potatoes accented it perfectly they were seasoned enough to eat on their own but with the patty just enhanced the flavors. And they didn’t lie about it being tender. The meal to me was wonderful. We are locals and never tried this place but after the success we found today this will definitely be one of our go to’s. If you want to finish a meal feeling utterly satisfied I recommend Jimbo’s.
