She indicated that she only bought the place last year, that the cottages are owned by a separate entity than the rest of the inn, and that this sort of thing happens since “people just bring these on their luggage.” She shared that she owns another operation in Missouri that has had an infestation and that the treatment is very difficult to take care of. She asked us what our plans were, and dumbfounded, we said we might end up staying in our car since finding accommodations on short notice this far out at 10pm would be challenging. We met some new friends and had lobster caught in the bay that morning - the biggest I have ever attempted to eat. Good food, cold drinks, and nice people. Everything was exactly as described but the added bonus for me was a shared community space that is like your home living /dining room and kitchen all in one.
