Details: My husband and I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while, but they share a parking lot, and it can be tough to find parking, plus wait for a table the later you go. We arrived about 4:45 pm on a Saturday. Parking was easy, and we had no wait. We ordered Honey BBQ and Garlic Parmesean wings to start. They were steaming (fresh) when they arrived. We both enjoyed our flavors, and the wings were a good size, and fair price. My husband had the Bluberry Pilsner. He described undertones of blueberry, and enjoyed the flavor. He also ordered the meatball sub with a side of fries. He loved the baked crisp of the meatball, and overall enjoyed the sandwich. I ordered a small extra cheese pizza. It was delicious, great flavor to the crust and sauce, and cheesy but not so cheesy it slid off the pie. I even ate the crust with no toppings, which is rare. Entrees come with a nice fresh salad and the complimentary bread and garlic oil is delicious, but save room for your entree because portions are generous. Mil and i ordered the rahm schnitzel, and my husband ordered the jaeger schnitzel. Our bill came to with two beers, three meals, and one appetizer came to 120.00. I definitely will not be back. I don't know if it's truly authentic German food. german beer is fantastic, and our server was nice. I hate leaving bad reviews but they're cutting too many corners in my opinion and it's definitely showing in the lack of flavor of their food especially at the price point that they're trying to sell it at.

Our the Burgers were hot and although I'm normally no bread, the roll it's served on is amazing. The one person that did get a breakfast plate should have sent it back as the bacon was overly fatty and the food itself wasn't hot. All else was fantastic.

It's probably not fair to use these places I've eaten in Japan as a marker for rating sushi bars in the US. However, it does influence my opinions, unfortunately. The environment is well lit and fairly open. There is 80's music playing at a decent level but wasn't too loud in my opinion. Seat yourself and browse the menu. Then, once ready to order, walk up to the cash registers and place your food order with the cashier. You order your drinks as well. The menu is fairly extensive. One thing that I do not like about Japanese restaurants in the United States is that they try to offer everything. Instead of getting good at just one niche. So, accordingly, they offer hibachi entrees, ramen, appetizers, including tempura, edamame, etc. We ordered edamame and vegetable tempura as apps for the table. The edamame was great. I was not impressed, however with the tempura. Tempura batter should be very light....read "thin." These veggies looked like they were bathed in pancake batter and plopped into the fryer. This as a deck of cards, they had so much batter it was tough to find the food. Seriously, disappointed as I was craving some deep fried veggies, Japanese style. For entrees, I ordered the sashimi dinner. It came with miso soup, steamed rice and 9oz. of fresh fish on an oblong chilled platter topped over a mound of Diakon radish curls and micro greens. Well presented, it was quite pretty. The fish was tasty, fresh and delicious. It was priced a bit high at $30. I thought it was interesting that the menu denoted the actual weight of the fish. This is definitely a US thing as you would never see this type of thing in Japan. My friend's wife had the Filet mignon hibachi dinner and for $1 more, substituted the fried rice for the gratis steamed variety. It also came with stir fried veggies. She was quite pleased with her meal and finished all the meat and veggies leaving half the rice. My buddy, ordered three rolls. He prefers the soy wrappers over the traditional seaweed/nori sushi wrappers. Why? You ask? Well, so do I. He's picky as they come! That's all I'll say about that. They had half off hot sake on Mondays, which was nice and it was tasty as well; pairing nicely with the fresh fish. We also ordered a couple beers. My friend's wife wanted the Yuzu flavored rice wine. While it was tasty, the $25/12oz was quite off-putting. I can't recommend it based on the price. Overall food was pretty decent minus the tempura which needs serious help. With tip the bill for three came out to over $175.00. The decor of the dinning room is very much traditional Japanese with vizy booths that offer a bit of privacy. There are also some larger table that can seat a bit larger party. They also have the Sushi bar. I ordered some Sweet and Sour Pork To go and it came with a side of frief rice. The portion was ample and the quality of the food was acceptable, but the dish itself was just so uninspired. The pork was breaded and deep fried and there was warm red sauce to pour over it - that's it. It wasn't bad, but after the Sushi roll experience I had dinning in, it was very anticlimactic. The soggy orange chicken I ordered literally had a bunch of inch-long strips of orange rind strewn all over it. Literal "orange-chicken." What the heck is happening in the kitchen back there? The saving grace is that the sushi isn't terrible. Not the best around the greater area, but completely acceptable for a sushi fan restricted to local Bluewater Bay if you are too lazy to go anywhere past the bridge or base. It really is a shame too since the owners and servers are very nice and friendly to talk to, but this place needs to regain its bearings and recuperate if they don't want to close down like its predecessor. It really would be more appropriate to call these barbque pulled pork tacos. What they describe as a (I guess) chimichurri sauce is really a super sweet, deep brown barbecue sauce. Don't get me wrong, they were cooked really well, it just really was not what I was anticipating. And because I was not anticipating that, it biased my opinion of the dish over all. When you call something street tacos, they really should resemble actual street tacos... Or at least make sure you give a better description of what you'll actually be ordering. The food is really good. Their menu isn't all that big, but there's enough variety that you'll likely find something you like. Their biscuits and gravy are incredible. I went to the blue collar cafe as I usually like to help the small businesses and local restaurants in the communities over the big corporate chains but my mom didn't like we were told to wait 25 min to be seated when tables were available and someone after us was given a table right away, regardless my mom chose waffle house afterwards and I was not disappointed in this at this location at all. Libby was amazing we had a table to sit down and were served and greeted right away, she was able to get my order right and my entire family and coworker were enjoying the food. Only small complaint was the hash brown were soggy or not cooked evenly crunchy. We came all the way from Orlando to work for 1 day but if we do a good job here and ever need to come back for more work in Destin or in Niceville we will definitely come back!

I wish I would have got some pictures of the food but we were starving and didn't know what to expect. If you're looking for good pizza at a very affordable price this place is a great option.
