I passed by this old school burger, treasure chest early in the morning, and knew I needed to return when they were open to give it a try! I was not disappointed. This place was oozing with old world charm and unbelievable food to match. From beginning to end, this was a great experience and LC Container definitely recommends this as a must stop as you’re passing by, or a destination, location for an unbelievable outing! The lights are low and with the dark wood and decor could see this as a neat local date night for basic, casual Italian. We went for lunch and the host and waitress were both very pleasant and attentive. Our meal started with 5 garlic rolls seen in most Italian places, soft and fresh. My hubby ordered a house salad, which was definitely the better option. My Caesar salad was drenched in dressing that had a heavy hand of grated parmesan and had little to none of the expected anchovy zing normally found in that dressing. The Pasta Sampler had a smooth marinara that was on the light side from others I have tried. The spinach ravioli was good, the lasagna had a lot of meat, but barely any ricotta, and the manicotti had an ultra light ricotta filling, not the denser texture expected. The Brinkley Special had thin pounded and sliced grilled chicken and sauteed veggies. It was the healthier option and tasted as such. Not bad at all, just not the flavor punch of heartier Italian dishes. If you are trying to be good, it's a decent choice. Our server, which I wish I would have caught her name, was absolutely rude and awful. Our server comes by and was so appalled at her pouring it over our chips makes a couple of passive aggressive comments and walks off , doesn’t even offer to replace the chips. About 10 minutes go by and she comes back to get our order and still no fresh chips but proceeds to say “wow I can’t believe yall let her do that” along with other passive aggressive comments again… I was so upset at her attitude that I was left speechless I told her we weren’t ready to order and paid for my tea and left. The fact that she was so blatantly rude and kept on about the pepper and I guess was just not going to replace our chips because they were doused with pepper is ridiculous. Especially when you work in customer service. Very disappointed and very unprofessional.

I recently went to order from this location and was unable to complete my order due to the staff ignoring phones and trying to shut down early. I reached out to them 45 minutes before closing time and while I understood that could be an issue with quality of food sometimes I didn't expect to not even be able to get an order put in. The staff shut down online ordering for delivery and they shut down phone access. When I attempted to call they let the phone ring continuously even though they were still open and because of the time I spent trying to order from this location I lost out on other opportunities for food. Right off the bat when we walked the door I started drooling, it smelled DELISH! What are you hungry for? They probably make it! I do wish I could have tried the whole menu! lol I had the gyro salad and my husband had the cheeseburger and fries. Our meals were both so good we actually shared. I ordered extra gyro meat because our local place at home skimps on the meat but I honestly didn’t need to, the meat was plentiful and delish, a lot of times gyro meat is dry, this was not it was juicy and I was thrilled! When I finished eating there was plenty enough meat left for another meal and the Tzatziki sauce was great! If I had any complaint or suggestion it would probably be a suggestion which would be to nix the different salads and only have 1 a Greek salad with the pita and all the fixins that go into a Greek salad, the choice would be with or without meat because I would have preferred to have a little more salad and I missed the feta, pasta, and other salad fixins. My husband had a cheeseburger and this thing was very big, thick grilled meat patties. I’m not sure what seasonings they use but they should never change those, that was quite possibly the best cheeseburger I’ve ever tasted! And the fries? They were great when they were warm and even still good when they’d started to get cold and nobody likes cold fries! lol Now to the service… I don’t know the guys name who helped us but he was extremely helpful and very nice. He helped me not order more than I could eat, he could have said yeah, keep ordering but he didn’t.
