Rooms were super clean and beds were comfy. Communal area was spacious - big kitchen that was always kept clean. And the pool table and movie room were nice bonuses! Staff were really friendly and location was good - about 5/10 minute walk into the centre of Baños. Great value too - one of the cheaper ones in Baños

And also the common areas are not clean. When I asked to cancel my reservation and have my money back because of this I was told to calm down, have good night's rest and we talk again in the morning. I got one night of money back, the other two are gone. It's also unclear who is volunteering there and who is visiting. Felt like I was intruding in their space, there was 1 person that actually engaged in a conversation all the others were busy in there circle. So for solo travelers it's not too good if you want to meet people. They cancel my reservation in Booking, so now I cannot do a review there, they say it's a no-show even!! Despite being there for two nights, but I guess it saves them a bad review. For the same price or even cheaper you can get a much better place in Baños. More socialble and you pay a lot less.

Ever dish (of the handful available - although diverse) is made to a very high level and full of flavour with proper ingredients!
