I’m a big fan of lamb, and this has to be up there with the best I’ve had. All I had to do was lift the bone and it fell straight out of the shank. Meat was lovely and pink and flavourful. The veggies were also perfectly roasted; buttery and soft but not mushy in the slightest! My partner loved his ribs, and there was plenty of meat and BBQ sauce on them too. In all with the two mains and two drinks, we spent €59, which for the amount and quality we were served is amazing in my book.

We wanted a proper traditional Cyprus restaurant which is exactly what we got. We were greeted and sat down and within seconds, the menus were provided along with warm bread, the tastiest homemade tzatziki ever, olives and other nibbles. My husband ordered Beef Stifado which was absolutely delicious and home made served with rice and chips and I ordered a plain omelette and chips. Both our meals were absolutely gorgeous. I ordered a beer which came served in a bucket of ice and my husband ordered freshly squeezed orange which was the freshest served juice ever. After our meals, we were offered complimentary watermelon which was so fresh and beautiful. The owner and his wife (I believe) provide the most amazing home cooked food and look after you like family and I can't understand how they keep prices so low. Incredible service by people who are the most wonderful and welcoming hosts with the most gorgeous food on the island. Only disappointment that we didn't get to go more often.

The way in which it’s layered meant you got a mouthful of one thing as opposed to a mouthful of the combined ingredients. Kebabs should be layered while holding the bread sideways so that each bite has some of everything. As much as I love red onions, an entire mouthful of same isn’t what I want to eat. Wayne made us feel so special and welcome. Wayne and his staff were so friendly and easy going and nothing was too much trouble for them. The table was beautifully decorated for us and he even closed the restaurant for us all to dine on the terrace. They were great with the kids and even let them choose the playlist of their favourite songs which they loved. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious and great portion sizes. We had a lovely evening. We went back for an evening meal a week later and again the service and food was just as good. Can't recommend enough and will be returning next time we're in Cyprus!!.
