This time around, his parents had the sweet and sour (not my vibe, but very good) and the mushrooms and onions (very yummy and umami) and my partner had the kung pao (also sweeter than we'd expected) and I had the udon and dumpling soup. The soup was my favourite! We also had the sharing starters, which you'd love if you like a heavy fried starter. It pretty much filled us up before the big mains even came out 😅 A few of the orders were wrong so we got to take lots home. Good atmosphere and it gets very busy!

I ordered spring rolls, barbecue ribs, sweet and sour chicken with egg-fried rice, and a banana fritter. The spring rolls were unremarkable, but very good and served with a very nice chilli sauce. The ribs were not conventional BBQ, but were exceptionally well-cooked with a more salty sauce. As for the sweet and sour, the chicken was satisfactorily crispy, and altogether tasted very good. The balance between chicken and vegetables was perfect, and they went well with the sauce. The rice was good and complimented the sweet and sour sauce well, although I will say one portion is enough to feed two people. The banana fritter was good, with nothing to note. For all elements, the portion size was spot on and enough to eat a starters, main, and dessert without feeling particularly ill afterwards. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. Service was exceptional and staff were excellent and very diligent. Altogether this was one of the best Chineses I have had, with nothing to fault. I would absolutely come back again.

However we didn’t get the ‘free’ prawn crackers and it certainly wasn’t cheap! Maybe we just had a bad experience, but reading Google reviews suggests there are issues with this place. Very glad we did, all the food was delicious. Prawn toast is fluffy and crispy, loads of meat in the main courses , lovely spring rolls. I've had the opportunity to eat here twice and both times the food was absolutely stunning. Everything is so flavorful and you can absolutely taste the care put into each of the dishes. The spicy beef noodle soup and the pan fried dumplings (although steamed are also great) are simply out of this world. I can't wait until to visit again!

The noodles are homemade and have the most wonderful texture, the dumplings are also homemade and are so very satisfying. The menu is limited which means they are able to do what they do so well that you're left thinking about their food for weeks after having it. Their duck is roasted so beautifully. The service is really friendly without being over the top. They are so good that I hope I get to have their food for a long, long time- so as much as I dont want them to become too crowded with customers that I cant get a seat, I hope you give them a try to make them so successful that they keep doing what they are doing!
