There were 11 of us in total, and the team made us feel completely welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to find service that good these days, and she really made the morning memorable. Despite this, the whole evening of food was thoroughly enjoyed, with healthy portions, good service and a nice atmosphere, although a tad quiet. I had planned to have food from the 2/3 course menu which I had seen online. Great selection of veg and other sides such as Mac and Cheese and potato gratin. The meat was cooked lovely and plenty of it! Yorkshire puddings were straight out of the oven and sooo good! Pub is really nice inside, very clean, nice atmosphere with a lovely fire burning. We were given the full menu alongside an A4 sheet of food they didn't have. I asked for the set menu I'd seen advertised as this wasn't given to us when we sat down, we were given this. 2 out of 5 starters were not 'available'. We each managed to pick a starter and a main, we all ordered the 'salmon en croute' and around 2 mins later the waitress came back to say they didn't have the sauce for the fish, but they could offer 'gravy or 'red wine sauce' with fish!! I raised my concerns with a manager who advised they've had supply issues for a couple of months. She also admitted that some of the food was infact 'available' but saved for tomorrow. I booked the set menu yet I couldn't order what I wanted because it's kept for a different day yet you say its 'unavailable' and we saw some of the dishes/food items stated being eaten. I also have a feeling this is what is done between lunch and dinner service. It may be noted as 'unavailable' when it's simply being kept for a different seating. The food we did eat we enjoyed but you are driving customers away. If I was to eat here again I'd ring in advance to find out what food was available.

We walked in via the back entrance a little lost to be honest and was ignored by members of staff to which we then went to the bar - not a great start. Overall food taste and portions need improvement especially the portion size of the butter chicken which was in a small size dish and for £10 is honestly a joke... As for the staff hit and miss but the customer service here needs huge improvement! I have been to many other desi pubs in the area and can say honestly this visit was not a highly rated one for me personally.

New parking seems great and easily accessible and there was no waiting for a table and we were asked we can sit anywhere. There were sofa booths but the chairs for the tables were awkward and too narrow making sitting on them like sitting on a plank or centuries old furniture, hence we moved to a booth which was much more comfortable. It’s like a huge pub but an Indian restaurant. Sort of. Firstly, the car park is huge. Oddly huge. There is an enticing smell of Indian food. You also go and help yourself to plates, cutlery, napkins etc. There is a well stocked bar and seating for just drinks, also plenty of outdoor seating. It does get very busy in here! There is a large car park at the side but be careful of the road surface, there are a few potholes. Definitely worth checking out, stunning food!
