It’s become a running joke among family and friends that I can’t get a steak remotely as good. The Bushmills Inn ribeye got close! Damned close! If you’re opt for the steak here pair it with the Bushmills whiskey pepper steak (when in Rome, and all that). The accompanying veg hit the spot and balanced nicely with the beautiful piece of cow on my plate. Only the kids had dessert (which the grown ups tried). Tasty and left us curious if we’d missed out on the adult options. The decaf espresso was decent for the homeland - we’re both picky with coffee - and the chat and rapport with staff was top notch! Dinner was from the cinema menu, 2 courses with main, dessert and tea or coffee and our food was very tasty, service was quick and it was surprisingly busy for a Thursday evening, not a massive selection but enough of a variety for most. We were able to take drinks up to the cinema room on the first floor, there was popcorn available just inside the door, 5 rows of 6 cinema chairs gently stepped up towards the back. Our first few dates along the North Coast usually wound up with a grilled cheese toastie from the Maegden trailer which developed into trips to Bushmills to stock up on their wonderful cheeses after they opened their shop there. The BBQ Chicken and Sweetcorn pizza was my weapon of choice – a gloriously gooey affair with just the right amount of smokiness, sweetness and crunch. The kids were catered for too, with pint-sized Pepperoni and BBQ numbers that disappeared quicker than a Cornetto on a July day. The chips were delightfully crisp, seasoned just enough to make you reach for one more... and then another... and then suddenly the box was mysteriously empty. Service was friendly, efficient and refreshingly unpretentious – none of your hipster nonsense here, just good folk making good food. Prices? Decent enough to feed the family without needing to remortgage the house, which in this day and age is worth celebrating with a garlic dip or two. After searching google maps I stumbled across this gem of a place. Food was incredible. Great portions. Better than meals we have had in restaurants. My husband and I got the Asian Wolf and The Oliver Reed with garlic chips and salt and chilli chips. We shared them and both were outstanding. We ordered dessert too but haven't ate them yet as we are full from the rest 😂 We will definitely be back!

We have eaten from here at least 4 times and always always make it a must when we are staying up at the coast or taking a weekend drive!
