Got my friends and managed to do the 2.5 drive from east London. When we arrived it looked so beautiful . Staff were welcoming and we sat upstairs . However, they told us this yours and they force us to pay for those dishes. To start off with, when being seated you expect to be given menus, we were seated and we were very confused (first timers) at if we need to scan a QR code etc, the waitress comes 15 minutes after asking if we are ready to order drinks - notices we don’t have menus and goes to get them. There is also no allergen menu and so had to go by what the server knew. Ordering food and drinks is confusing too, it takes them quite a while to acknowledge you’re ready to order. We’ve ordered drinks, and at least 15-20 minutes have gone by and we are sitting with no drinks. In the meantime, we have ordered food and made a table change to a much bigger table. We had to ask on how long our drinks would be and only then were they “ready”. The drinks were lovely and made the wait worthwhile! We then waited for food, the atmosphere is lovely so takes your mind off whilst waiting but when it got to about 30 minutes after ordering - we had to ask again. Food arrived, it was tasty - good masala fries, but I feel everything else was average. Maybe the speciality is curries which we did not order, but the burgers we did were served lukewarm. Overall, I think this is a place for drinks and atmosphere, the waiters/waitresses are lovely but I think the delayed timings degrade this. Portion of Akbars special biryani is 1/4 of any other place like Chennai dosa. 9. Starters are dry and hard to chew. It's disgusting. It's been some time since I had been to this chain but another had been recently and recommended it. The greeting was welcoming and most of the stars in this review are because the service was so good! The menu had a lot of vegetarian options on it too which was a nice surprise. The people waiting the tables were all lovely to talk to and would check in often, even if they were serving another table and it was great to be able to add to the order no matter who was passing. The food arrived warm and ready to eat but I wouldn't say it was fast. Yet in good company you'll not notice this. Sadly for me it was the food that let this place down. On arrival we thought we would have free prawn crackers added in as we usually do with any £20 plus meal spent at a Chinese takeaway, but to our surprise there was none in the box, after asking the girl she said it does not come free know more, we had to add two bags of them in and be charged £54.90. In total When we got home with our food we realised something was wrong and that the portion size had been reduced significantly of everything and filled with vegetables instead, ( mainly big peppers )we had no water chestnuts, we had no omelette, all this usually comes with what we ordered we hardly had any prawns, the rice was only boiled rice even the meat was scarce, usually with just one house special chow mein and one house special fried rice we have food to eat for two people easy and food left over for the next day, I know the cost of living has risen for us all but this was a genuine pisstake. We were all so disappointed that we called the rice bowl and asked directly why it was so small and why we didnt recieve our free crackers, to only be told very abruptly, that if you go to tesco and spend £50 you dont get somthing for free the manager was very rude to say the least after telling him of the other problems and changes to the food we were just met with more abuse so instead of arguing we just told him we would not be using this place ever again. If you want a good Chinese takeaway avoid this place like the plague unless you want to pay overpriced and hardly no food in the box.

Don't bother you're better doing at home it'll be better. Let's say lack of flavour and dry. Now lemon chicken again no flavour and very dry, the bit of lemon you get are the 2 slices of lemon on top of the dish. Some may this takeaway is great, that's your choice and taste, however I recommend Don't bother for the prices they charge its awful. Family owned and with home cooking this good, we were in here to eat two days running. Space is tight but this makes for a good atmosphere. The food is excellent with no salty aftertaste and the chilli chicken dish I had was superb. Everybody in our party of six raved about the delicious food and the flavoured Chinese drinks were also a big hit. Very nice owners who take pride in serving the finest food. I must say that I don't normally like Eat-all-you-like places as all my previous experiences have compromised on the quality of the food, but Feast Junction was a welcome exception. I found this place on Google, on the website it said "award winning" and not being from the area we decided to give it a go. Plus, It was only 30 seconds from the hotel we were staying at (the Manor Hotel) which was a touch!! Food was lovely, big portions! The bread was light and fresh, the rice was fluffy, the curries we had were full of flavour and weren't runny at all!! The saag aloo could have been a bit creamier but was perfectly cooked and the spinach had a nice kick of spice to it - worked perfectly with the tikka mascara sauce! Here on holiday for two nights on way home after two weeks away. Went to Meriden spice for a curry as we were deprived of one for nearly two weeks. Was not disappointed.
