Would rate them as cheap and cheerful, but could be better. We ordered quite a few things totalling around £45: chicken and sweetcorn soup, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, bbq ribs, special fried rice, salt and chilli chicken, char sui pork with vegetables, large meat spring rolls, and we got prawn crackers and 2 fortune cookies for free. Let's start by saying the soup was the best part of the meal and set me up for a bit of a disappointment. Mine was the hot and sour soup which was absolutely beautiful, would definitely get again and have with prawn toast by itself! The rice was delicious along with the salt and chilli chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was made separately from the sauce and was slightly dry. The spring rolls were as my partner described as ' a bean sprout sandwich'. It had no flavour or meat to be seen or tasted. Had we no sauce it would have been left. The ribs were a bit tough and the char sui pork with vegetables was ok. Had everything been flavoured and cooked accordingly then it would have been rated higher. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. It's collection and cash only which was a little inconvenient. Food was slightly late, but everything was hot! Would go back for somethings, but not a whole meal. Parking is difficult so be prepared to walk a bit.

The reason I like my chicken madras from here it usually tastes better than everywhere else round that I've tried. Also I had plastic piece in my nan bread which I thought was a hair strand initially. The pheswara nan was also very bad in terms of when you open it up there's crumbs everywhere so it was way too messy to eat. My other half enjoyed her chicken korma though. The manager in fairness did leave us a voice message and apologized and asked us to ring back but we didn't want another curry by then. Safe to say this has put me off ordering from here now.

I order a lot of Indian food because I love the flavour, but more often than not and like this occasion, I'm greeted with a sauce which tastes like 90% base sauce rather than the varying vibrant & authentic flavours offered on the menu through a variety of curries. A real shame. They often taste the same which is frustrating, especially when the reviews are good. I'm also positive it's not me and my taste buds because they all have the same consistent base sauce colour and texture compared to a real curry. To add to the disappointment, the pakoras were not authentic pakoras, either. They were plain battered supermarket chicken pieces with a bit of chilli powder and no yoghurts to accompany them. I'm a heavy regular of another local Indian takeaway and would now rather go without than order from anywhere else when they're closed. Once bitten twice shy, multiplied by 10.

Starter - Pakora was standard. Not homemade it seems, but acceptable. Chips - admittedly an English dish, but I love chips with my curry.... The portion was a very generous portion which is fantastic, but please - don't add as much salt. There is far too much. Naan bread - appears to be the usual Naan received from a takeaway. Can't grumble. The kicker - the curry is what sets apart one takeaway from another, but disappointingly, I found the flavour very similar to the usual base sauce used in takeaways (one I often make myself), rather than a flavour that sets each curry aside from one other. As an English person, I know people can be fussy eaters, but if I order an Indian, I want an authentic Indian, not a dish not too dissimilar from another I choose. I can take one look at a curry and identify when it's predominantly base sauce - this is unfortunately one of those. 😔 I'll give this place one more go and will edit if necessary.

I had given it the benefit of doubt following one poor meal but will no longer be revisiting for takeaway. Such a shame because they started promising but now failed to maintain quality.
