Yes it happened to me during my visit to Srinagar. Visited this place on my first day in Srinagar and now on the last day as well. They make absolutely great pizzas, breads and momo (with their own twist with their inhouse yummy sau e). I am sure they are equally good in other dishes but I didn't get to taste them. They serve good shakes and mojitos as well. The room was big and adequate and very clean. The staff cleaned the rooms every day diligently. Breakfast and dinner were included. Really good hotel to stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and we ended up visiting multiple times. From desserts to full-course meals, everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The Afghani Chicken starter was a huge portion and was more than enough for three of us. Interestingly, though the waiter mentioned it had two pieces, we actually received four. The naan was fresh, and the Dum Biryani was also flavorful, though we packed some as we couldn’t finish it. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, especially since we had an infant with us. Located close to Dal lake. The place looks cozy and the food is nice. Tried the Winterfell special burger, since I wanted a grilled chicken burger with cheese. The Coffee tasted good and so did the burger. However, the bun of the burger could use some toasting I guess 20 seconds of oven heat, so that it doesn't feel stale and bring the taste of the burger down. I preferred to visit in the evening looking at the pictures of the ambiance, only to find out that it was GOT themed, which was nice. I would definitely recommend and probably visit again for a quick bite or coffee, if I happen to be in Srinagar again. I must say they need to have a proper service culture maintained. I ordered a pizza with a coke, when the delivery boy arrived guess what he forgot to get the coke. I was very much disappointed. We had their chowmin, spring rolls and coffee. All of them were good but the chowmin was really great. Their prices are a tad bit overpriced but in a tourist place this is expected. The service was prompt and they are open to give suggestions on what else to try in the market. The only suggestion I would give is to give actual ceramic cups for coffee instead of paper cups while having a dine in experience as paper cups slightly take away from the overall experience.

Zeera rice was having unbearable amount of salt. Paneer was stale. Dal was stale . Mix veg were stale. Rotis were like Papad. Toilet was dirty like hell. Charged full amount inspite of such stale food. No hygiene. There is not a single point that I should pride it. Staff were utter shameless. The room and stay were worth the discounted rate. Rooms are adequate for a family of 4, location is great too. We had booked a lake facing view but we got a rather disappoint view - that was one let down. Another one was we never were given a room access card for the entire stay citing previous guest mistakes - not sure why it takes so long to program another access card which is perhaps 3 decades old technology. However leaving those peeves aside the stay was worth the price . There is good tourist crowd. Location as shown in travel portals was probably old , now they have 2 other Mamta hotels so the greenery outside is virtually non existent. The front facade of the hotel and porch are impressive. House keeping arrives are good and prompt, reception too takes the call and answers things quickly. Front room has a heater and both rooms have smart TVs and STBs - we could enjoy IPL on star sports 2. Lobby area can be better illuminated to make the experience grand. Overall a good place to park if the objective is really tourism for the entire day.

The entire complex - situated just a stone's throw away from Dal Lake, is centered around a lovely park. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Bathroom was large and airy.
