So starting from the beginning: Parking: is very limited depending what time you go. There’s a public Ringo paid for car park out the front which is where I ended up going but if you can get into their car park I think it’s free or cheaper. The setting itself is quirky and buzzy and I loved it, the pool was a great temperature and the sauna was wonderful. The jacuzzi was always busy and a little small and the steam room wasn’t very steamy and in need of an update. The cold bucket was fun after the sauna too. I wish they provided some flip flops as I forgot mine (even if they’re paid for) and wish there was more comfortable seating around to read a book as this seemed limited but didn’t detract from my overall experience. I also got very cold from being wet and sat outside before my massage and even after I showered I wish I’d brought an extra towel so I wasn’t sat back in a wet robe (didn’t think ahead). I had a full body massage and the massage rooms sit above the edge of the pool. You can hear the indistinct chatter and clanging of cutlery but I actually found this to be really relaxing rather than it being so quiet with a bit of spa music. The massage was amazing and I came out feeling so relaxed and the masseuse took me to the tea room and offered a selection of herbal teas after and it helped warm me back up. The lunch was unbelievable - service was good and quick and very tasty. All in all - such an amazing value spa day and really well done - there’s a few minor things that could be done to make the experience 5* overall but you can’t knock it! Thank you so much

Loved that there were no kids in there when I arrived at 5.30pm. One thing I didn’t realise was that it was a lap pool instead of just swimming/ chilling. It did get more relaxed towards the end. The hot tub was crowded and felt more like the temperature the pool should have been but was perfect on a warm day. The food, drinks and service was impeccable. Sauna had a nice big window looking out onto the pool area, in fact generally speaking it felt quite light due to the big windows around the pool. 2 of us had neck, back, shoulder massage and facial (mine was by Michelle and my mum had Carole, who was also very good) and 1 of us had the exfoliator treatment, these were excellent and professional, felt super relaxed. Good quality herbal infusion made for us afterwards. I thought parking wasn’t bad value (£11 for the whole day paid on departure, although first 3 hours are free. Dinner as part of the package was very good, better than we had been expecting, given some reviews. We paid extra for the steak, and had desserts. Cons - Overall online booking process I found quite long-winded. The main pool was much colder than we were expecting (great as a cold plunge after sauna though). Hot tub was quite small, and by far the most popular area. Didn’t find jacuzzi that others mention in reviews, was there a button to activate in the hot tub? Car park is quite small, so limited availability. Some of the staff in the restaurant were not the most warm or welcoming. Would be lovely to have some fresh juices on the menu. Relax area post-massage was quite small, imagine it wouldn’t be that relaxing on a busy day. No area to lounge out and read a book, but to be honest if you booked the “swim, massage, meal” option I’m not sure where you’d find time to lounge as you’re so packed with activities and two hours pre-massage is just right to sample a little of all of the areas offered (sauna/steam/pool).

But what a venue. When you enter (the door is surprisingly heavy?) you find a darkly decorated and relaxing interior. This has two floors of tables. It has a really nice clean and darkly modern feel. The menu is decent and centred around steak cuts (being a steakhouse…). I chose sirloin 11oz with a side of broccoli. The steak itself was cooked well and tasty however for me there was too much fat. Maybe I’m just fussy but I don’t like lots of chunks of fat on my steak. Note this seems to be a thing with steak houses in the UK as opposed to Dublin where the rump steaks have virtually no fat. Can’t fault the food though. The chunky chips are tasty and deceptively filling. There is a good wine list to choose from. The staff were very friendly, efficient and very good. I will go back. The beef was described as being served ‘pink’ yet was served overcooked. The Yorkshire pudding was equally overcooked being tough and dry. The roast potatoes were so undercooked they looked as if they’d been boiled (see image), we did call a waiter over to ask if a mistake had been made and we’d been served boiled potatoes by mistake, they did then bring us replacement roast potatoes which were a little better, but they were still undercooked inside. The cauliflower cheese that we paid extra for was so bland I suspect they may have actually forgotten to add any cheese. The carrots and parsnips were similarly undercooked and were lacking any sort of herb or honey glaze that one would expect such vegetables to be served. The food was not served particularly hot. The staff were friendly, but at no point during the meal did any waiting staff come over to ask how the food was. It was a rather disappointing experience to be honest. A lot of food was left uneaten and we left rather promptly. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. .

I’m a ragular customer. However, their service is terrible recently. I’ve waited for more than 10 minutes at the reception with no one to serve me. Thus, I directly went inside the restaurant to ask a table but they required me to wait at the reception. The food was not fresh at all. Very salty. At the end, I waited another 15 minutes for the bill, yet staff just gossiped around at the bar doing nothing. I had to go to the bar to wait the gossip finished. We waited for a table and were given a choice. It's all shabby chic with mismatched tables and chairs which adds to the charm of the place. This restaurant is excellent for North Indian food, offering delicious food. Unfortunately the new menu and products were disappointing. Fries have been replaced with cheap tasting thick cut chips. Leanne looked after us very well and was very knowledgeable about various allergies and how best to cater for them. The restaurant was clean and tidy, with access to the garden on a lovely sunny day. The desserts were very generously portioned and there was an unlimited salad bar. They do not have any auto opt in service charges, this is purely at the discretion of the bill payer as it should be. I personally feel more inclined to tip when service and food is excellent and they haven't added service to the bill at their own discretion, so they have got that right in my opinion. Highly recommended and great for people of all ages in this very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Yesterday night, we were served by Mr. Rehman. We started off with crispy poppadoms and the pickle tray. As you can see from the pictures, pickle tray has sauces much different from the regular pickle trays around here. The person who served the pickle tray explained what the different type of sauces are. We ordered two starters - 'The taster plate' - has portions of onion bhaji (M), Sheekh kebab and Chicken Tikka. If you can't decide what starters you want this is the best option. We also ordered their speciality starter - 'Chicken Isabegol Tikka'. It had a very different and striking taste, felt more like a fusion of Indian and European cuisines. Another welcoming thing that the server let us keep the pickle tray until we are done with the starters. Mango mint yogurt sauce was very good with the mixed starters. For main course, we ordered 'Murgh garlic' and Chicken Naga Chili masala.  To go with it, we ordered Egg fried rice and  Peshawari Naan.    Murgh garlic and Peshawari naan was a perfect pair. Murgh garlic had very soft chicken pieces with very flavourful gravy. Even though the restaurant was very busy, Mr. Rehman (our server) was very attentive. Also the lovely lady who served the food was very friendly and she even had a friendly chat with my 3 year old. She provided children's cutlery so that my daughter could eat food at her ease. My daughter was also given a small glass of mango lassi (on the house) with mild flavour. She enjoyed it very well.  We could not finish all the food, the rest of the food was promptly packed for us to take home. We really had a good time, all together it was a culinary delight to have it. We will definitely go back.

Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was reaxing and calm, the staff were welcoming and attentive and the food was amazing, very authentic and freshly cooked. We eat out in Indian restaruants a lot and nearly always have the same dishes, Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken, Matar Paneer (which wasn't on the menu but they made it for us) and Garlic Naan Bread. For real though been coming here a lot during my entire lifespan, and its always a grand experience. Birthdays, pre prom meets, christmas. And even delivered takeouts from here. Its incredible. Worth the food and worth the takeout too!

Also there were many desserts not available on the menu, including my favourite lemon meringue pie, I was very disappointed. I was told they had only just had a delivery and some desserts were not available yet. I always have the chicken Chettinadu with jeera rice which I enjoy on every occasion, most recently with extra green chillies, it worked really well in this dish. Since the rebrand to Lebanese Flavours, the menu and overall food quality have definitely changed, unfortunately, not for the better. On my latest visit, the waiter was friendly and seated us promptly, which was appreciated. I ordered the mixed grill: the lamb cubes were dry and very small, and while the chicken wasn’t dry, it lacked flavour. It came with some grilled vegetables, but nothing particularly memorable. My side was the vegetable rice, which used to be a favourite, it was always fresh and tasty, but this time it was dry, overcooked, and the portion was slightly smaller than I remember. One thing I really missed was the complimentary bread, salad, and sauces they used to provide, none of that was offered this time, which was disappointing. On the plus side, my partner had the chicken shawarma wrap and really enjoyed it, said it was full of flavour. He also got a portion of grilled chicken which was fresh and tasty. As such service was great. It's a self-service soft drinks situation, but you get tiny glasses so you're constantly up and down to the drinks machine. £16 for a burger, chips, and bottomless soft drink. If you want to swap that soft drink for a single 330ml beer it's an extra £4 (ouch) The food came quickly, unsurprisingly considering how quiet it was, and was well presented on a stainless platter with some greaseproof paper.... The hell's kitchen burger was pretty decent, the best part about it was the jalapeno and Padron pepper salsa which was amazing. The burger itself, whilst pink in the middle seemed pretty dry. The bun wasn't brioche which was a pleasant surprise. The usual suspects of tomato/lettuce/pickle were all in there and tasted very fresh and crisp. The chips were nice, though a few more wouldn't have gone amiss. Whilst it was good, only getting 3 stars for a few reasons; There are so many burger places in Reading, and let's be 'honest', there are better ones to pick for the price. There was a 12.5% service charge pre-added to the bill - I'm happy to pay a tip for good service, but I'd rather praise somebody for good service that's over and above by adding a tip than insult somebody for perfectly acceptable service, which I would consider doing the job that you're paid a wage for, by removing the "optional" service fee. Firstly how on earth can you charge such expensive prices compared to the other places around Reading. £5 for a portion of the side twizzler chips and you get about 7/8.
