It was cozy, warm, inviting and spacious. Seated outside next to a heat lamp; the appetizers, entrees, atmosphere and genuine service by each staff member there truly made the night. We went on a Friday night and they had live jazz music, which we all loved. The service was excellent and it was an all around amazing experience! We all loved our meals! The food was not as great as I was hoping. My steak didn’t wow me, I wouldn’t recommend it. My wife was happy with her scallop dish and it looked lovely. Sadly my child’s homemade buttered noodles were better than my entree and my fries(they were really good.) It’s not what you expect from a 60-70 dollar steak. I also did not care for the fish soup at all, to me it was like drinking the water from the bottom of a sink after washing dishes. The biggest issue with the restaurant were the acoustics, it had to of been the loudest dining experience outside of a raucous bar that I’ve ever experienced. This very special restaurant is renowned for its exquisite home cooked French cuisine, and our experience did not disappoint. We were delighted to find live music playing during the evening by a very talented young pianist and singer. According to Tony, many famous people have dined at the restaurant including some Famous President and Vice President. Well, we just went for the food. :-) The wine list was not a book but I was able to find a Burgundy and Italian wine that we liked for about $200. The Octopus appetizer was the best that I tasted in North America. Main lobster was good without the shell in a light sauce but personally I like to eat 🦞 were I have to work to get the meat out. It is a surprise to see Crispy Duck and they serve half of a de-boned Duck. The sauce was perfect for the Duck. Escargot and Artichoke appetizers can be skipped. Hudson river Foie Gras is very fresh but could be pan seared little more on the outside. Now 6 chops of Colorado lamb really impressed me. The quality of the lamb is excellent but the chef didn't melt any of the fat on the lamb and personally I prefer the fat to melt so the meat will be more flavorful. The filet mignon was a disappointment on the tenderness and the peppercorns sauce. The biggest surprise was the baked Sole fish. It is a whole fish and the server will de-bone it at your table. It was simple and fresh and good. Good news is that they didn't serve any mash potatoes with added Cauliflower. :-) Dessert menu was not very exciting but it is understandable since the portions are so big. I could not give a 4.5 stars but we do recommend this restaurant if you are in town.

The Foie Gras melts on the palate with creamy richness that's an experience in and of itself; this dish is accompanied by cranberry chutney, toasted brioche, a glazed bosc pear and a port wine cassis that perfectly complement the creamy richness of the foie gras. For the main course, we had one of the specials, Lobster served on Angel Hair Pasta with Mussels, and, Roasted Crispy Duck. The Angel Hair with seafood was cooked to perfection with a flavor profile that explodes with the taste of the Mediterranean! The duck was a boneless, roasted half duck; the skin was deliciously crispy and made a nice contrast for the tender duck meat underneath. The duck was obviously rendered during cooking, so it didn't have that fatty component you can get with a duck. It was perfection! Lastly, for dessert with had the Profiterole, vanilla gelato sandwiched in a crispy french pastry, smothered in a rich Belgian chocolate sauce. We also had the Mousse Au Chocolate, which my wife didn't want to share with me (I did get a taste though). Both were a wonderful finish to such a sumptuous meal. Kudos for Chef James Waller and his wife Darlene for having this restaurant and bringing such delights to the people of Naples. If you haven't tried this restaurant before, go! Our time spent there with family was lovely. However the overall experience was similarly disappointing both visits. I try to visit twice before reviewing when I can. My boyfriend is a chef and found this place online and we were beyond thrilled with the service from the moment we walked in and all the way through our meal! I had the escargot and branzino, my boyfriend had the foie gras and sweet breads. We will go back and eat all of that and then some. I'm glad we had those because they place was clearly very popular and the tables full! We found parking in the lot easily and chose to sit inside. Our waitress Paola was very friendly and explained the specials and checked on us many times. I got the branzino and while it was very good, especially with the sauce, I felt it was too small.
