We didn’t do menu tasting. Decided to pick items from ala carte menu. Bread service served prior to first course. Then we were able to order Scottish Salmon Tartare eventho it wasn’t listed on the first course items (thank you Chef!). It was a fresh light starter to our meal the combination of beets, avocado, horseradish cream and (some mint emulsion maybe) and salmon. For main course I got 10oz NY strip and my friend got Foie Grass stuffed free bird chicken both delicious, a little thing that we wished they could do better was both of our entree weren’t hot (they both warm) and they didn’t cleared the rest of set of silverwares (we sat at the 4 seats table with 4 set up), it’s a minor service things but for a restaurant at their level this could’ve been improved. Overall experience was good. Our wait staff gave us suggestions and clearly know their menu. I would def be back and next time I would love to try the tasting menu.

Wonderful dining room atmosphere with extremely pleasant staff throughout the kitchen, management, social media and wait staff. The food is well priced and to die for. Clarity most certainly deserves its new spot in the top 50 best dining experiences in NOVA. Time will tell where they land in the rankings but I'm sure they are here to stay. We made reservations, they made sure we didn’t make a wrong RSVP to another restaurant called Maple Room (not far from where this location. We tried the brunch with nice omelette and pancake, plus the wings, and we know it will be good, but it is going above and beyond!! It's a tiny restaurant run by the two owners. Concise menu, but everything was delicious- we all ordered different first and second courses to share so we got a good sample of their offerings. The service was great, and they were very accommodating about substituting the bacon with turkey bacon (so good!) Prices are reasonable for what it is, and so worth it. The dining room has a cozy feel to go with its size. Noise levels rise as the evening progresses from quiet to moderate. I sat at the 12-seat bar with the bartender greeting me within a couple of minutes. Service was uniformly attentive and unobtrusive through my just over two hours there. The menu overall accommodates gluten-free appetites as stated by others and tends to have rich offerings with cheeses and creams to accent starches and sauces for more items than not. I ordered from both the standard menu and the advertised special menu: tuna tartare and potato-onion ravioli for appetizers, rockfish and pork chop for mains, and key lime pie and strawberry shortcake for desserts. We don't go out often and, when we do, we have a short list of places that we like to visit. Bazin's is located in the middle of downtown Vienna, which means that there's plenty of street parking around. On entering the restaurant we were greeted by a sweet hostess and were led to our table. We had booked a reservation online beforehand but there was plenty of seating when we went, so I'm not sure how necessary it was. We were seated right next to the bar which gave us our first glimpse into the weirdness of this place. On our left hand side, there was a fairly small dining area with a bunch of tables. It was a really nice spot with great lighting, big windows looking out onto the street and a pretty classy, interesting decor. On our right was a bar with a TV that was playing horse racing. And right behind us was an open concept kitchen were all the staff was working, running bills and talking. That wasn't necessarily a problem, but it felt a bit like a Jekyll and Hyde situation where the restaurant was trying to cater to two audiences and the dining area was so small, I don't know if it pulled it off. Food: 5/5 Best seafood that we've had in the area, no doubt. The portions were plentiful and it was absolutely delicious. 5. Repeatability: 3/5 This rather subjective standard is used to determine whether or not we would come back to this place regularly. I think we would on another date night, but probably not in another circumstance. We loved the food, but the cost of everything definitely makes it a once-in-a-while kind of restaurant to visit.

It was my first time visiting, and it didn’t disappoint. First, when you enter the restaurant there was an aroma of yummy goodness that took complete control of my senses. Ample free parking too. I loved the little desert corner they have to see those delicious pies and cakes they have to offer. Overall 10/10 for that. The decor is eye pleasing. A good first date spot. My husband and son did enjoy their meal not to the level of expectation we had from the place but yeah they did get to finish their plate. My omelet however was a sad let down.
