Really couldn’t have had a worse experience here. Called in an order with a completely rude woman. Then we go to pickup food and it wasn’t there/ready. We waited over 1.5 hours for the food. Then when we got the “veggie burger” and side of asparagus it was awful. No bun. Four soggy strips of asparagus. Their food is so blah here. The staff was not nice or apologetic for this either. They were also talking rudely and complaining and guests could clearly hear.
Have been here at least 4 times and the only positive thing this place has is their location and outdoor seating other than that it’s a complete waste of time and money. Will never come back.

One of the best brunch places in brickell. Chilaquiles was an underrated but top notch dish. They ran out of the croissants so will be back to try those. Service was mid - fast in the beginning but then slowed down. They got dog water bowls for a pet friendly outdoor seating which is always a plus in the hot Miami days. Sake mojito was super refreshing. Definitely recommend this place overall. No reservations but call ahead for seating and wait time

I had the brunch with my friends here but I haven’t heard from the staff to ask how do I like the food so I have to wrote it here.
The matcha tastes like it’s diluted, I could not taste the strong flavour Matcha should have. For the Salmon burger, the upper brioche was not fried and had not enough sauce on it. The minced salmon burger contained even some fish bones inside which was so dangerous and not professional.
The environment couldn’t be called decent for the heavy smoke from the open kitchen. I feel sad that I was waiting for the waiter to ask about my feelings about the food but they didn’t come to me.
My friend told me the brunch in America was like this basically, I feel bad about it because the brunch I had in Europe was all better than this not cheap one.

My recent dinner at Eating House in Coral Gables was an absolute pleasure, thanks to their "Taste of the Gables" fixed menu. From start to finish, the experience was truly top-notch.
The fixed menu itself was a culinary highlight – every dish was exceptionally well-prepared and bursting with flavor. I was really surprised by this restaurant that our group just happened upon while walking around in Coral Gables. The atmosphere is very nice, the service was fantastic, the food was exceptionally good and the price was fair. Above all, we were also impressed with what we called a “clean” bill. That translates to a check that brings exactly what you ordered, no weird add-ons like a service charge or an outrageous tip already added on, or like it happened to me at another Miami restaurant, a “donation” to some obscure cause that was simply added on to our bill without even asking us first… Miami has become a place where you REALLY need to read that check, unfortunately. Last night we were looking for a change of scene in the gables and found it at Eating House. I was a fan of the restaurant from its original location but haven’t been back much since it re-opened. We were greeted outside while just looking at the menu which made us come in for a drink, we were welcomed in and then Steven, our waiter/bartender made it one of the most pleasant spontaneous dinners we’ve had in a bit. We were just coming in for a drink before dinner but changed our plans to have dinner at eating house due to the quality of food, beverages, service and attentiveness of the staff. We’re putting eating house into our normal rotation. Steven went above and beyond, helping us with selections from our first drink to dessert always with a good sense of humor and smile! For food recommendations- everything we tried was excellent and so fresh from the tuna crudo to the short rib and of course their famous dirt cup.

Great brunch/lunch experience! Perfect scrambled eggs, benedict is solid, the famous iron skillet pancake is LARGE. Once you work your way to the middle, more of their special syrup is necessary which costs $4 more (not a big fan of that part). The consistency is like a sweet cornbread, less like a fluffy pancake.

I’ve been wanting to check out Chug’s Diner for a long time, and it definitely did not disappoint! The menu truly has something for everyone, from classic Cuban favorites to creative comfort food. We were looking for a place to eat in the Edgewater neighborhood of Miami, and we lucked out with this place! The food was so delicious & my husband loved the big portions.
My avocado toast was fabulous and my husband’s chicken sandwich, called “Driving Ms Sunny” was awesome! Their pancakes & French toast looked so delicious, as did all the food I saw. The atmosphere was fun& friendly, and the service was great.

This is a really great spot. Sandwiches, salads, entrees, bagels. The grits were perfect but wish the shrimp were blackened or seasoned on this New Orleans style dish, but overall good. We came here for my birthday to try the tasting menu and it was a very special meal. We started with table side mixed tartare (video) and martinis, and then their summer tasting menu and wine pairing of different pastas and small plates paired perfectly with wine. Absolute fantastic experience! Long story short - We were getting married in Coral Gables on Jan 18, so we made reservations through my Capital One app at Fiola’s for Jan 19. Unfortunately, Capital One had that major tech issue, so the restaurant did not receive our booking. I went recently to pick some bags from Too Good to Go. The two people working there kept saying they couldn’t see me swiping that I had gotten the bags despite me showing them. They took a very long time to give the bags and even longer to simply staple them. I told them my car was parked in a spot where I couldn’t park and that I’d need to leave soon and if they could please hurry and they didn’t care. There weren’t even people whose order they were taking so I’m honestly not even sure why this took so long. I’ve previously come to pick up things in this store and they have always been ready by the time I get there. We walked there in the evening and had a reservation which we booked about an hour before we arrived. The food and service were excellent, our waiter was very helpful and our drinks arrived quickly. It had a real feel of a french establishment and we started with a couple glasses of Sancerre. The flavor of the french onion soup was extremely well balanced and I highly recommend their pepper steak (au poivre) which is done with filet mignon. The cook on the steak was exactly what I asked for and you can tell the chef is precise and confident with all of the dishes. The atmosphere was pleasantly subdued, dim and had its own flair, you can tell the reason this place has been around so long is because they have a reputation for success. I think either the manager or the owner stopped by our table to check in on us as well, which we appreciated. We ordered their prawn special and my wife was thrilled with how it came out. I want to go back for some escargot and try their other dishes sometime.
Truly a terrific experience if you want to go for some authentic french food.

Overall, I had an unsatisfactory experience at Mamey Miami. I went here with a group of 16 friends on a Friday evening. We selected this resistant because it had great reviews. It also accommodated large parties and had a pre-fixed menu with 3 set courses which we thought would make the experience seamless. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and while we were seated quickly that was the only part of the experience that was quick. We spent 3 hours here - primarily because it took between 30mins - 1 hour between each course. In addition to that, we were sat at two separate but neighboring tables and each table received their food at different times. Each course there was a long period of time were one table was eating and the other was sitting around waiting for their food. The food itself was fine, nothing amazing. We mostly bussed the tables ourselves by collecting our plates in the hopes that the waiters would come by to collect them eventually as we went very long periods without being waited on. Despite the restaurant not being full. The worst part of the experience was after 2 hours of this, we had to ask for the manager to receive an update. The manager did not come by of their own volition to check on us or apologize. It wasn’t until we asked that he spoke with us. He did offer us a modest discount which we appreciated though it did not rectify the experience. I would not recommend this restaurant and I will not be returning.

We had an incredible experience at Mamey Miami in Coral Gables! Our dinner reservation was for 5 people at 8:00 PM, but two members of our group were running nearly an hour late. The short rib was spot on, delicious. The rest was just very overpriced below average food and drink. First our table was broken and they stuck sugar packs under it to stabilize it. 2nd chicken came out very dry. 3rd drink were $20+ a pop and not memorable. 4th the 2 pork belly tacos tasted pretty good but at $20 should have tasted better or been larger portions. 5th the $40 short rib while tasty included 0 sides. Yup for that price you pay additional for fries or even rice. - service was fast but not to the standard of class the restaurant was trying to compete with.

I gave the service 5 stars because the service itself was good - however the food took forever to come out. It was a busy night during Miami Spice, I read the reviews and was somewhat prepared for smaller portions and slow service.

We chose The Rusty Pelican for a special dinner after getting engaged, mainly for the stunning views of the Miami skyline — and it did not disappoint! My sister, a local, said the Rusty Pelican is one of the best restaurants in Miami and she was not lying. The location is amazing! It's right on the water with beautiful views of the city. The salmon was perfect. The crispy top down to the sauce tasted amazing. I eat, we all eat, but I devoured the salmon like a last meal.

I was so hoping this would becoming my favorite breakfast spot in Brickell but I was so disappointed. We went on a Sunday early morning. It wasn't the easiest place to find. It is a bit hidden and I kind of liked that. We walked in and the place was comfortable and had charming decor. We were told to sit wherever we wanted as there was only one other couple there. The waitress was very pleasant. We ordered an croissant eggs benedict and 2 eggs with bacon and 2 lattes and French toast. The lattes were delicious but not very hot. The croissant on the benedict was cold and didn't seem fresh, crispy, or flaky, and the hollandaise sauce had virtually no flavor, however the eggs were perfectly pouches. The tiny potatoes pieces that came with it were fried crunchy and I sort of liked them. The other sunny side up eggs are good but the bacon that came on the side were didn't look very appetizing. It was a pile of bacon on a plate and the were not crispy at all. We enjoyed the French toast but nothing special. Overall, I like the location, the decor and the cool vibe but the food was not impressive. Will not be back.

Came in around 1am there was no one to greet us .. asked could we sit ourselves.. then the guy said yes you sit over there.... one waitress working plenty if dirty tables not that crowded. Waitress is also busing tables. It was so could we order hot tea. Waited for about 30 min for our food.. asked it I could have Avocado as a side instead of broccoli was told no can only have the aode on the menu no substitutions but could pay for avocado as a side..

Came here after a high school graduation and they sat us down on the other side and we went up TWICE and they said they would get to us… after 20 minutes still nothing not even a drink order and the employees are just outside chit chatting. I've been coming to this Denny's for years now. The current staff is exceptional. This morning Chef Clarence made me a veggie omelette that blew me away, it was delicious. Juicy veggies and cheese spilling out of a perfect half-moon omelette. I've never wanted to take a picture of my food at a Denny's before but today was the day. Server Salvia was super nice and attentive as well.
