Brother in law turning 81. Usually in most restaurants they either sing to you or a desert if some kind. I guess that don’t do that here. Our table ordered Chicken fingers, steak Salad, chicken quesadilla and spaghetti and meatballs. I would like to report everything was really good…it was not. The chicken fingers were over cooked, all 3 orders. The spaghetti and meatballs were under seasoned and I am not sure what they use to make these meatballs but they need a new recipe with better flavor and texture in the meatball. Not a good plate of food at all. The 8 oz New York strip for the salad was ordered medium, it came hammered. Super well done and was so tough I could barely cut it up. It seemed like nothing prepared hot or cooked was from the freezer and not fresh. What was good? Friendly staff. Great service and a good atmosphere. I do see that they serve lunch and breakfast. I might give it another try for breakfast. Finally, went to the men’s restroom to wash my hands and there was some sort of food substance in the sink. Not good.

We actually don't live very far from this one so we figured we try it out. Turned out to be very very delicious food. I even had an espresso to wrap up the meal! All the food was very good, so much so that I went back the next day to try out another item. Everything is amazing and freshly baked. I’ve never had a better scone that wasn’t from the UK. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, ham, eggs over medium, and cheese and it’s probably the best in town. The owners are super sweet and friendly and seem to really take pride in their restaurant. I’ll definitely visit again. Also worth noting, the prices are beyond reasonable, they are clearly using fresh quality ingredients and charging the same as gross fast food. So I want to give every location 5 stars but unfortunately sometimes it under delivers. Part of it is my fault for having such high expectations. The staff at this Perkins are always friendly and energetic. The food is usually good I get the Chicken Strips Melt almost every time I go. It was good but not great this time. I don't know if it was the fries that are usually seasoned slightly differently, the sandwich being cut in 2 instead of the customary 3 cut or the Styrofoam to go container instead of the plastic microwaveable ones that other Perkins restaurants offer. Not a good experience. That time. I came back near thanksgiving in the evening for some pie. New Management,& staffing made me wonder how the changes affected the customer service. So today we came back to enjoy our brunch. Everything was wonderful, especially the food & service, . Staff was organized, respectful & efficient. PERKINS will be my always go to for breakfast or brunch. My husband had the Big three breakfast, with home fries. always his favorite. I enjoyed the everything omelet with home fries., delicious!!! My husband had the grilled pork chops with apple sauce, a salad, and tater tots. Both plates were absolutely delicious. Both of our salads were fresh and had good dressings. The turkey and stuffing was good ole comfort food. The spinach was fresh, but a little bland. The grilled pork chops were juicy, tender, and had a nice flavor. The tater tots were crispy and cooked perfectly. The service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. 6/26/25 - We both had their potato flips. I had one with bacon, eggs, and cheese. My husband had one with ham, eggs, and cheese. The flips are potato pancakes wrapped around the breakfast items. Both entrees were delicious, but the bacon one had just a little extra flavor. You can't beat it for the price because it was a lot of food and we both had leftovers. The service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely return.
