Ate at the bar so we were able to sit immediately. There was a short wait for a table (about 20 mins) which definitely would’ve been worth it. We ordered the BBQ Sample Platter, it was delicious. Got baked beans and coleslaw as a side along with a piece of cornbread. All the meats were amazing and the cornbread was the best I’ve ever had. Have to shout out the bartender Kirk. He provided great service and had an awesome energy. Finished out with banana cream pie- 10/10 and it was giant. Definitely need to visit if stopping in Waimea!

Food portion is massive and pricing is reasonable. You have to order the food and then take a seat. My kids wanted chicken and rice and they were fully satisfied and content with the taste. It’s easily my favorite meal and they serve the best I’ve had on island. Eggs not over cooked presentation is great served in a cast iron bowl with a side of rice. The sweetened dashi broth is amazing. Now it is served with more broth than I’m used to no complaints gives you the option of eating it how you would like. Keep in mind I’ve just returned from Japan and had a lot of Oyakodon. The flavor is on point maybe to the sweeter side. The egg is all one texture and cooked fully. I prefer when they add a second egg later in the cook to allow less cooked egg mixed with the cooked egg. Like I warned preference. Salmon: My son loves ikura so he got the salmon lovers the salmon sashimi and ikura were so fresh and delicious. The tamago was perfectly cooked. The salmon roll was also very delicious. The menu has sets of nigiri I may have missed it but I did not see options to order individual nigiri. I was there specific or takoyaki and Oyakodon. This place deserves five stars. This is a Great cafe with a home feel and well decorated. Most of the staff is amazing and the food is so good! The club is BIG and very good. The avocabo sandwich should be called the guacamole sandwich. But today I went to the bakery that is behind Kamuela Kitchen to get some baked goods. On the way out I sat at one of the five empty picnic tables that I have eaten my Kamuela Kitchen to go food. I spent time searching for a breakfast spot and came upon this place. It was so cute and lovely decor wise, but the attitude of the ladies working there was very unfriendly and not very inviting. There's love in the setting but not in the people. Money is never something I skimp on when it comes to food, but I paid more than 8 bucks to get this sorry looking egg Mcmuffin with one slice of orange, the Mcmuffin I could've gotten at Mc Donalds lol, and Mc Donalds is always a last resort. Would have been nice to get a side of potatoes or fruit or something. I was excited to support a local restaurant but the customer service and food presentation/pricing turned me away from wanting to return. I've worked in customer service for many years and if you can't be kind, inviting, and friendly to your customers, you are doing a disservice to your business. In these 2020 times, in my opinion, thats the worse thing you could do. Y'all need a staff meeting ASAP. Wishing them better times despite how we were treated.
