I loved that they give you a bib, scissors, gloves, crab roll, and a bowl for your garbage. You make a huge mess but it’s well worth it and the table it’s covered with paper for that reason. The drinks were also the best we’ve had in Honolulu. And we had the pecan tarts for dessert - perfect way to end the meal. We wish we could’ve come again during our stay in Honolulu. It’s family run and you can tell how passionate they are about serving you the best seafood and ensuring you have the best dining experience. It’s definitely worth the short trek out of Waikiki. My only complaint on the food was with the first course, which was a soft boiled egg with caviar and wasabi. At the end it just became too eggy, I wish there was more depth of flavor. Would recommend getting that one if you like a herby drink! Everything we had was delicious. Shared the special ulu aloo dish which was their take on a samosa with breadfruit spiced with Indian spices and topped with crispy okra and tangy condiment. The greens on the side tasted bit salty and could have probably dressed in a way that would have been a refreshing palate cleanser from the heavy dish. Still loved it though!
