When we got in they told us it was a 30 minute wait we only waited about 10 minutes. The place was packed. The servers are hustling. I started off with the crab and shrimp dip appetizer that was so delicious. My meal was the shrimp and crab broiled in a Bernaise sauce. That was also the most delicious thing I had all week! The fries were hand cut and cooked just right, crunchy on the outside with a soft bite inside. Presentation on everything was clean and you could tell the kitchen pays attention to detail. It was a Sunday and so many places were closed early or had super long waits. We ended up driving all the way down here from Corolla. I kinda wish we had chose elsewhere. We got chips and salsa/queso for an appetizer. The chips were stale, the salsa was clearly El Paso or some other very cheap jarred salsa, and the queso probably the same. It felt extremely lazy. I ordered the Jerk Burger for my meal. I ended up being pretty disappointed. The burger, which I ordered medium, was well done. The jerk sauce was extremely sweet which is not something that is normal for a jerk sauce and it ended up not being good at all. Luckily my wife didn’t finish her California burger and it ended up being cooked closer to what she ordered and was a lot better than mine. If you’re looking for good quality food, not sure I could recommend this place.

Almost $200 that I could have used in many other ways for my husband including a delicious dinner elsewhere for half that price, like prime rib for $32 at The Black Pelican, in a much cleaner, more appealing establishment not telling us what we were going to eat! By the way, we were seating, or rather cramped in a small booth behind two very large, super loud, obnoxious, parties; one group very intoxicated and the other apparently hadn't eaten in several days, making literally 100 trips to the buffet, eating like literal pigs with horrid body odor 😷🤢 I'm sorry to be so blunt but this was just terrible and very barbaric; almost sad really.

The 2 women working tonight were rude and closed the inside of the store at 4 pm. We found this out when we tried to sit down and eat with our family. Pictures are below. The food was excellent! I got the Buxton Burger with American cheese, Lettuce, tomato, onion and Mayo. It was delicious to say the least but was nice and hot, flavorful, juicy and cooked to order. The burger was so fresh each bite I took had steam coming off of it. My wife got the fried shrimp, rice and beans. I had the pleasure of trying hers as well. The shrimp was so fresh and the batter coating them made them all the more tasty. The coleslaw is soooo good as well and I rarely say that about coleslaw. It was creamy and had a delicious sweet flavor to it as well. They were friendly. I ordered Teach’s Tacos with blackened tuna last night and they were so good that I went back tonight to try the Beach Bowl with blackened tuna tonight. Everything is fresh and delicious.
